Saying Shiva Purana is tamasic is smashing thousands of beliefs ?? These thousands of beliefs also include eating human flesh,worshipping small boys' penises and eating from a human skull. WHY IS IT SO HARD TO ACCEPT THAT TAMASIC PEOPLE ARE ATTRACTED TO UMA MAHESVARA ?? Some of Visnu's Puranas are said to be rajasic..so does that make Sri Visnu Rajasic in nature ??? In the same way,Shankara is never tamasic...NEVER. The forms of Uma and Mahesvara are many times horrendous...even revolting...but it IS NECESSARY for all the goblins and ghosts...These are forms of God Himself- Sri KRsna.Tulsidasa and the earlier Gaudiyas BELIEVED SO. This is the right knowledge.Lord Shiva is a form of Godhead.God himself,for all those who are attracted to His person. Similarly,Ramacandra is the Supreme Lord in all His entirety for the ramanandis. But you cannot deny certain facts...The left hand tantriks,the aghoris,etc. are people whose practices are tamasic and that is that. Thus the stress on Vaishnava way of worship

and maybe start with executioning the disgusting left hand tantrics in say kerala ???????

Sorry..but love is the path to God. is such a general phrase. Any one can build an organisation on it. Can he,if his life depended on it,establish Sri Krsna bhakti as the highest goal of sastras and after that...perhaps display never-seen-before power and opulence???

Sri Maharajji : "ek rahasya ki baat aur hai,agar aapko kabhi jeevan mein koi mahapurush mil jaaye,koi rasik mil jaye ek second ko ek ghante ko,yadyapy aisa avsar milna anant janmo ke punyo se bhi asambhav hai.Anant sadhnao se bhi aisa saubhagya nahi milta.Vah to keval bhagavatkripa,guru kripa se hi milta hai.To bhagavatkripa se aisa avsar kabhi mile to aap log is loot se kabhi na chukiye.Vah kaunsi loot hai?Jaise vah sankirtan mein kuch bhi bolte hai,pad bolte hai,Bhagavannaam bolte hai toh unki aavaj ko bahut dhyan purvak suniye.Yadi aap na bhi boliye to bhi aap Bhagavatpraapti kar sakte hai,unki aavaj sunkar ke samadhisth ho sakte hai.Lekin itna dhyan rakhiye ki jab vah mahatma bol raha ho to bahut dhyan se pratyek second samahit chitt hokar ke uski aavaj suniye.Uski aavaj mein alokikta hoti hai.Jitna Dhyan se aap sunenge utna hi aap sheeghra antahkarn prem ka ankur utpann kar sakenge.Isliye jara bhi laparvahi na karke unke pratyek second ke pratyek aavaj ko dhyan se sunkar phir uske baad boliye.Toh aapke hridaya mein vah aavaj jaakar chu jaayegi. Jab aapke hriday mein vah aavaj chu jaayegi toh aapke hriday mein vilakshan sa dard,aur vilakshan si gudgudi aur ajjeb anand jise aapne kabhi nahi paaya uska anubhav hoga.Isliye is laabh ko sada mastishk mein rakhe. I will tell you one secret,whenever in your life you come across a rasik,a mahatma for one second,one hour,whenever such an opportunity comes,this is not possible even by punya performed in infinite lives.Infinte sadhanas also cannot lead to such an event.This opportunity is only possible by mercy of hari or guru.So if such an opportunity presents itself,NEVER FORGET TO MAKE LOOT OF SUCH A FORTUNE.Which loot is that ? As soon as the mahatma starts sankirtan or sings padas(songs describing leelas/forms of Sri Sri Radhakrisna),or starts chanting Harinama,that time listen very carefully to that sound.Even if you do not sing or talk,it's alright,even then you may attain Bhagavan,you can go into samadhi.But keep in mind: FOLLOW EACH AND EVERY SOUND OF THE MAHATMA WITH A CONCENTRATED MIND.The voice of a mahatma is spiritual-beyond this world. The creeper of Bhakti will start manifesting in your heart in the amount proportional to the amount of your concentration.This is the reason why you should ALWAYS BE ALERT.First listen with utmost care and then you can talk.Then this sound will enter you heart and clean it.When this happens,you will experience a divine feeling,a divine pain,and such bliss that you've never experinced before(not even in sushupti within karanaraushayi Visnu). Keep this point in mind always." I felt goosebumps when i read this.This secret is revealed even in the Bhagavatam.Hope this is helpful to the shadhakas.

it's all up there in the history books...even by common sense it is quite clear....you throw in a sattvic person on the leader's post and see the wonders... democracy is crap...like everything else... Bhagavan made a perfect way- the varna and the ashramas. Everything else is plain useless.

IT HAS TO BE : SATTVIC KINGS GUIDED BY EITHER SHUDDH SATTVIC MAHATMAS(Visvamitra/Vashishta etc) OR BY SATTVIC RSIS/MUNIS ETC ETC. tHIS is the only way... you can't expect a person who is 'modern' and who doesnt even believe that protecting the cows will give them good returns to even lead a moral,good country.NEVER.

Modernisation MEANS SQUAT.Just the other day...air france couldn't survive a storm...Do you know how damn easy it is for Indra to drown a city ??? development MEANS SQUAT. i think..from historic accounts..babajis live like beggars...Vamsivat Babaji was found to miserable even to the initiated devotees of Srila Bhakti siddhanta(Bhakti vinoda ???).He appeared mad like and he forbade his devotees to have anything to do with Vamsivat Babaji...He said they should just offer obeisances from afar... *** VARNASRAMA DHARMA. Varnashrama Dharma is kaitva(Srimad Bhagavatam.)Kaitav means fraudulent(misleading). Varnashrama dharma...following it IS NOT NECESSARY/NOT CONDUCIVE for cultivating prema.It is not possible to follow the varnashrama in this age... Anyway...Varnashrama was performed by the mahabhagavatas just to set an example for the people under maya. Actually all the bhagavatas are beyond these vedic rules.Hanuman was a brahmacarya.He still killed crores. Varnashrama is religion of the body.Obviously Brahmanas are much more purer and at a better position to start cultivating prema..but even the worst of the chandala can come to this level by constant remembrance..

both are wrong. This puran talks how shankara cuts brahma's head,how someone cuts one of her breasts,how Lord Visnu cuts one of His eyes...etc etc. No other purana is so gory and inconsistent.

He came almost as every manu. He expanded as brahma,rudras,adityas,prajapati,etc. He became Indra one time in history(and WILL AGAIN BECOME IF NEEDED.) He brought ayurveda into light i mean He authored the freakin vedas. further,He said in the geeta,"I am the compiler of vedanta,the knower and to be known through the vedas." First point: Srila Vedvyasa is the compiler...even the most dumb people know. 2nd point: four Acharyas have accepted Sri Krsna to be the One to be known through the vedas 3rd point: Since 2nd point holds true,the Supreme Truth Himself alone knows the vedas.For the vedas are a form of the Lord. 4th and most important point: Sri Krsna Himself is stating so. What else is needed to understand Whom to worship ????

I think sambya is right.. Bliss is the only measuring tool. The sadhaka feels bilss even before the visions appear,thus it is understood he is advancing.Also humility goes hand in hand with this bliss.If someone calls the advancing devotee a pig,he hardly cares.If such a state comes,know that you are advancing. The true gurudeva is immersed in bliss always. The spiritual movements can never be success..not over a long time...Time introduces people to the movement..who don't even attain bhakti before the Gurudeva departs. Althought these disciples are good at heart,they haven't realisd the truth.The movement inevitably fails.

and Sri KRsna...He is the baap of all actors..A Personality Who can send a soul(the hunter who shot at Sri Krsna) to the topmost heavens in his same body(hunter's body) and Who defeated Mahadeva in battle..He is acting as if He is wounded with the arrow and about to die... Not only this..This personality Sri Krsna...took arjuna (another stalwart actor who should win an oscar for feigning ignorance on the battlefield) in a MATERIAL chariot beyond the universe into the region of Virat purusha,Mahavisnu,as if He was travelling from pune to mumbai...He is running away from Jarasandha.That too Baladeva is running with Him. amazing.They ran so fast that thy directly stopped at dvaraka. we should call all of These Personalities as frauds.They do not even reveal Their actual position to everyone...Only their accomplices and assisstants(for eg. Hanuman Who is crying on seeing Laksmana injured) can understand Their reality.No one else. Great. Jaya Jaganntha !!

i think the gaudiyas/iskcon people etc. need to reconsider Sri Ramachandra's position...It's all there in tulsi ramayan... He is considered Sri Krsna Himself in all aspects...just He doesn't display the conjugal pastimes..otherwise sakhya,dasya,vatsalya is there...Not to mention His deceptive pastimes with Sita Mayya... (He actually expects us to believe that He cried in the jungles searching for Her and She...well,She's a bigger actress.She acted as though She was a helpless,innocent,ordinary woman in front of ravan.Good try.We all know these Two have brahma shankara and their consorts worshipping Them in each and every universe and they are SO NOT INNOCENT.lol.)

Many people-almost all have read the geeta...But not even a percent of them know the most important message of the Geeta.And if they do(me,for instance),they hardly apply it in their lives and do rigorous sadhana of the above said nature.
