When I say do this as often as you can.. I mean to spread as much Holiness in your <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:Street><st1:address>Living Place</st1:address></st1:Street>.. What need of Possession? Thats like saying what need of a shrine?
There is no need of a shrine.

    What need of clothes?
    Srila’s tailor was simple too

    What need of tools?
A tool can be a toothbrush but not a dragon to talk to

When I say goto a Yard sale I mean try to find beautiful CHEAP things!!!!
To you it may be cheap; to the child in <st1:place>Africa</st1:place>, the greatest gift on earth; perspective?!?!?

Goto a Family Dollar store or something.. As long as you find it beautiful is what matters..
The Hope diamond is beautiful and a just a rock formed of mother earth

For example I bought alot of plastic Flower vines to decorate my apartment each 4 foot vine cost me a dollar.. How can 1 man Heal all the Hunger of the world?
Then why follow the faith you promote as true?

Because I buy one small statue of a Dragon and bless it doesnt mean I created Starvation.
But if 6 billion were to think like you are sharing than what?

Do you have a Vehicle? Did that cause starvation?
Nope as it is parked unless on a journey of ‘doing.’ Do you need it? If the purpose is good, it’s yours!

If any possession will bring ‘good’ to humanity, take all; including my left arm just to make sure.

How does having a wise Dragon who uses positive magic scare children?
For a human being to think a figurine has magic or wise is a fib as well shares a method of thinking that should not be around children; as it is all irresponsible fibbing.

Living in a Shrine? Are you really?
Absolutely! To be alive with the experience of choice is a shrine (heaven) in true reality.

Shrines should look beautiful like an altar.. Or picture of <st1:place>Krishna</st1:place>!
What picture? As a sunset is a picture of Krisha.

You ask which form? Universal Form means too many to count so how does one pick one?
    Not my choice!
Well you should look at Chapter 16 of Bagavad Gita and examine Divine and Demoniac Natures..
    OK

This means things with DIVINE NATURES are what you should be surrounding in your life..
That is what I said: my shrine of GOD is experiencing life!

Religion is a set of beliefs and practices, often centered upon specific supernatural and moral claims about reality, the cosmos, and human nature, and often codified as prayer, ritual, and religious law. Religion also encompasses ancestral or cultural traditions, writings, history, and mythology, as well as personal faith and mystic experience. The term "religion" refers to both the personal practices related to communal faith and to group rituals and communication stemming from shared conviction.

    Cheers

    Why thank you!

At least you defined how 'religion' is not ONE sect or belief.

As to honor religion, then we see God/Lord/Vishnu/brahma/the total.... in all of them!

Very kind of you to observe your 'brothers' opinion as well!

  3.

Lastly there is Earth, via water, via fire, via air, via either, via mind, via intelligence, via ego, via jiva/param atma, via Brahman, via adi-purusham. That is all.

    ----------------------

You want bread? £2.00 extra for bread! No soup for you!

seems you charge and take by choice.

Yet since bread is what you sell, then your knowledge must not have 'good' foundation; based in pride!

r u a born again kind as the same profile fits?

    Otay.......

Feng Shui can be used to comprehend the energy we encounter, as well as influence it. As energy travels it is influenced by what it encounters and this affects the quality of the energy as it goes along. Feng shui is concerned with harmonizing the environment.
To impose to the surrounding for?

    Personal objectives?

To do so allows healthy flows of the highest quality energy to travel. In this way the energy positively affects those in the environment.
So it would be similar to painting the interior of the pediatricians office nice tones of color, to easy the minds of children prior to seeing the doctos?
Feng shui cures can be as simple as dealing with clutter, or planting a tree, ranging to the more complexe.
Maybe a little more reading for me to see. This is a site http://www.fengshuifacts.org/faqs.shtml#what_is_fengshui i located maybe you have something else?

Feng shui also has a strong base in intention coupled with action.
This line item seems quite 'good' for each.

  5. Or simply descriptions that represent a universal idea no matter what the period in time and consciously recognized in the variety of definition.

ie..... "virtue was the most valuable of all possessions; the ideal life was spent in search of the Good. "

So transcendental knowledge is like binding an opinion to a universally observed 'idea.'

Kant presents it as the point of view which holds that our experience of things is about how they appear to us, but not about those things as they are in and of themselves.

or what about the dogmatic approach:

"And as for certain truth, no man has seen it, nor will there ever be a man who knows about the gods and about all the things I mention. For if he succeeds to the full in saying what is completely true, he himself is nevertheless unaware of it; and Opinion (seeming) is fixed by fate upon all things."
These are the ideas that damage as they confide to 'unknowing' as norm when in fact each are of knowing just not of the words to convey the experience.

    Or then

Mereological nihilism (also called compositional nihilism, or what some philosophers just call nihilism) is the position that objects with proper parts do not exist (not only objects in space, but also objects existing in time do not have any temporal parts), and only basic building blocks without parts exist, and thus the world we see and experience full of objects with parts is a product of human misperception (if we could see clearly, we'd not see compositive objects).

This has merit in the sense of the 'illusion' of personal isolation does not exist.

The question is what is the interpretation of this term so loosely used on this site?

  6.

All levels of transcendental knowledge are qualitative not quantitative.

The highest level of transcendental knowledge is realization of Bhagavan, the personality of Godhead. Such realization is not dependent on technology.

can a 2 year old child in a room with shoes and shoe laces (qualitatively capable) ....... put the material to use with proper comprehension (knowledge of steps; quantative understanding)

Or simply how the heck can any child know 'anything' works without a quantity of knowledge to establish comprehension?

So then as children: if you cannot share how life exist, then you are still learning.

  7. does this make sense?

    [url="http://www.indiadivine.org/audarya/"]What is Feng Shui?

In ancient times as well as today, Feng Shui was known as "Kan-Yu" which means 'The Law of Heaven and Earth.’ The first time in recorded history that the term ‘feng shui’ was used was in the Book of the Burial written by Guo-Pu: “Qi rides the wind (feng) and scatters, but is retained when encountering water (shui).” Just as with the original Masters of Feng Shui, today’s lineage holders of authentic Feng Shui know how to choose and use the most beneficial qi. Today we call the skills they possess--‘Feng Shui.’

Would this basically be a method of comprehending the energy we encounter?

  8.

Well I didnt say the whole story!..
    apparently not

The best answer I can give is to surround yourself with positive forces!.. Bless things.. Like your dishes and silver ware..

    Bless the dishes....... check

Find some at a yard sale that you find beautiful and bless them and say these are Holy..
Nope! No need for them nor going to fib.

Do this as much as you can..
    Nope!

If you enough money buy them at a store..
    What need of a possession?

For instance I have dragon staues that I sat and contemplated with.. I name them..
People hungry all over the world, you buy a dragon, name it and then probably telling people it is 'holy.' :eek2:

for instance I have one by this computer.. She is very wise and uses magic to protect me..
    you're scaring the children now!

I draw pictures and hang them on my walls.. I actualy made up my own holy language and write prayers with them..
    Different.

Look into Feng Shui.. Get the idea?
    OK I'll read.

Make your living area a Shrine!
Eye's open; living in a shrine.

Be Kind! Be strong in faith in Compassion! Remember the Krishna and the universal form!!

What form? Forms have definitions; what's yours?

  9.

Well.. I havent told the Whole story thats why.. I said Brahma created me this demigoddess.. but it wasnt really him that told me about peace.. It was more of a collaboration of mainly Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva and Krishna as well.. I know I shouldnt be speaking about this.. Because I was told not to tell too much.. So I'll try to keep the answers as simple as possible..
That was not simple to digest as it seems some of the terms (descriptions) do not match with the teachings of the faiths that use (defined) them.

The BEST answer I can really give right now is to surround yourself with positive forces! Find out what positive colors are in your beliefs.. Find positive pictures.. Try Feng Shui.. Make your living area a shrine to what is known as the Holy spirit.. BE KIND! Don't just have a small altar!.. Dont worship the deities.. Respect them.. Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are Deities as well and not Gods! Remember the Krishna and his supreme personality!

I'll try to help as best as I can.. I still have my own life to deal with.. and I'm trying to follow this example as well.. Be strong in faith of compassion! If Demons come be peacefull with them.. SHOW them LOVE thru perfect example say that you wish to teach them truth.. If they flee.. so what! Dont try to destroy them because thats stooping to their own tactics.

OK... not much anyone could say as the 'try feng shui' being conveyed in a dream is different but I'll read anyway.

  10.

After Srila Sridhar Maharaj had been in the Math for a few years in the early 1930s, one of his former classmates came to see him. Srila Sridhar Maharaj knew that his former friend was a staunch advaitan and Gandhi-ite so he really didn't want to spend much time with him. His "friend" asked him rather sarcastically, "Oh, you have been in these red rags (saffron cloth) for so much time, what have you learned." Srila Sridhar Maharaj replied, "I have learned that everything that Vivekananda and Rama Krishna have said is wrong!" His "friend" was mortified and immediately left the Math.

Did they even have a word 'computer' in the 1930's?

Was the knowledge of 'relativity' (although incomplete) even available to the public (any person of choice/means)?

could a person sit in one spot and observe more knowledge, than even avilable in the library of congress?

seems maybe even the math of electricity usage and calculations was not even available to the general public.

Perhaps, to maintain spirituality over and above practicle application may have been a lucrative pursuit for any who are complacent with just staying with the existing paradigm versus remaining truthful to existence recognizing there is much to learn.

Meaning anyone can see that Galileo was superceeded by Newton and then to Einstein. Just that same from the old words of sankrit to Srila's English.

Time, experience and observation to how knowledge has evolved; offers a simple solution to this personification of change.

Perhaps today has a greater advantage to observing more knowledge then ever before?

Perhaps today has much more truth to convey then ever before?

Who is the know it all? Who has all the answers?

Then we are all students! Humble to keep the intent of developing within the definitions of change.

    Does this make sense?

  11.

Great post, thanks for sharing this nectar!

Let's pray that people will develop a taste for chanting Krsna's holy name or any other holy name of God and not remain stuck to not experience anything while chanting and eventually give it up.

Did I see this correctly? You want people to chant (praying for) but not concerned about the name.

and then state literally that when the chanting is realized does nothing, eventually the people will give it up?

Because this is one of the best ideas found on this site! That in reality chanting a name is basically self imposed 'Rama'.... and then you shared how 'any' name of God... is Otay.

Guess them 'sound' waves are not so tightly focused or special.

After all, chanting Krsna's name is the yuga-dharma,

again am I reading these words correctly?

Swami Vivekananda describes the distinction between them in this way. Of Sanatan dharma, he says:

We know that in our books, a clear distinction is made between two sets of truths. The one set is that which abides for ever, being built upon the nature of man, the nature of the
, the soul's relation to God, the nature of God, perfection and so on; there are also the principles of cosmology, of the infinitude of creation, or more correctly speaking, projection, the wonderful law of cyclical procession, and so on; these are eternal principles founded upon the universal laws of nature.

    Of Yuga dharma, he says:

The other set comprises the minor laws, which guide the working of our everyday life. They belong more properly to the
, to the Smrtis, and not to the Sruti. These have nothing to do with the other principles. Even in
, these minor laws have been changing all the time. Customs of one age, of one yuga, have not been the customs of another, and as yuga come after yuga, they will still have to change.

So the idea of chanting will eventually be over with as all it is, is a phase; like skate boards and short skirts?

Looks like that presently some more things have to be arranged so that planet Earth becomes more qualified to receive more and more devas and thus fullfill the prediction that there will be a golden age for the next ten thousand years.
I agree. as time progresses, the changes to come will offer more knowledge to usher in the world Peace.

so when more 'qualified' people are around to recieve the knowledge, we can recognize the period is about to change.

What a great post, (that is if I read it correctly).

  12.

Basically people are so brainwashed that they hardly believe in the return of peace and to light candles.
    Or being purely honest.

Over Consumption, Social Disorders, Global Warming, Fossil Fuel Depletion, Economic Dislocation and Coming Dark Age,
Is the self personified in the masses

all this together has also disoriented lots of Vaishnavas. Vedic calendar says,
So then the idea that the middle east and 'our' global brothers at war, will simply stop? Can you assist on allowing understanding as to how this will occur?

    kali-yuga will go on,
Perhaps change is part of the cycles; maybe take another look see?

    no end of world 2012.
A new Beginning! Makes much more sense.

perspective: the glass is half full; rather than half empty

use the light of the candle, to allow further reading :P

Peace comes from sharing 'good' knowledge.

  13.

Know it that I am eternally your guide, but if you don’t accept me as your guide what can I do? Unfortunately, if my disciples do not take my guidance, what can I do?

By bad association it so happens, so I remain silent. I see the pricks of maya.

Pretty wise comment. As maya is when One thinks his words come from God as an isolated individual talking to them; when in truth existence is what we experience in life.

There is no separation; we are experiencing what is, each moment yet often the 'self' of some, steps up and isolates what is true with selfish interludes to retain previous complacency; predeterminations!

You mentioned that your pathway has become filled with stumbling blocks, but there are no stumbling blocks, I can kick out all those stumbling blocks immediately, provided you accept my guidance. With one stroke of my kick I can kick out all stumbling blocks.

(letter to Krishna das - September 9, 1972)

So who ever is sending the letter seems to be sharing to the Krishna das, that with Understanding, there is no trouble.

As most can see, the adversities are self prescribed.

  14.

Umm... I have asked that question and the answer is a secret =o)

Perhaps that 'he' must not trust you to be pure with the knowledge.

Maybe ask if the truth behind all comprehension is based on 'light?'

Is there anything at all you can do for the next generations that will offer Peace and pure Understanding for the next child?

and be sure not to ask for a thing; but as thanks for being alive....

submit to do in the stead of take

  15.

Study has shown that there is a high probability that those who abuse animals eventually become human abusers.

    Hare Krsna/Krishna

    Jay Sirla Prabhupada

a young person once asked me; do you fear anything? I replied. 'yes. of course'...... People and often who is closest to you.

    "What?" ..... was the reply.

'People can use words that do more damage than the hand.'

Eating for sustenance is natural as life itself.

Use of words have greater responsibility to existence then the consumption of nutrition.

  16.

    Dear all,

Recently I saw a clip on CNN about the slaughter house in USA as they push the old and crippled cows for sale in the open market. The clip showed a man kicking a cow making it to stand by force so that he can sell that too and also another clip showed that a cow was forced to stand on with a metal rods, I could not stop my tears roll down watching those INHUMANE behaviour towards animal.

STOP KILLING INNOCENT AND WILD ANIMALS DONT MAKE YOUR STOMACH A GRAVEYARD FOR DEAD ANIMALS.

Question I have is; if in Gaza, there are millions being slapped kicked and beaten by human beings; what is the most important scope to maintain compassion for; Human beings or cows?

Or simply on a thread talking about how close our existence is to global war; it seems maybe priorities could be reassessed.

  17.

Another thing I found VERY interesting.. Was I was talking to Brahma for help and He said
    WHo spoke? "and he said'???/

Why not ask him 'how can I assist in contributing to world Peace?'

little bit of Krishna practice I have done has awakened me and my Schizophrenia

religious beliefs will do it every time!

It's a common pychosis; that a person must lie to themselves to retain faith!

    Kind of sad!:crazy2:

  18.

The spiritual master is neither the ultimate object of devotion, visaya-vigraha, nor the original reservoir of devotion, asraya-vigraha. He is a manifestation or prakasa-vigraha of the original reservoir of devotion.

Does this mean, that the man is simply the ‘devoted to truth’?

Neither god nor human can give such transcendental knowledge.
I disagree, this idea herein does not make sense. All knowledge is learned! Meaning each line of learned ‘mind’ comes from our brethren, history; the fathers.

    Then here is a contradiction

The spiritual master and the Vaishnava are transcendental temples.
Nope! Just a man who cares as the ‘transcendence’ is simply the ‘life,’ which means we are all transcendent; life equally.

We don't have to make disciples, we have to become disciples
Which basically means ‘live in good’ (support life)….. and to comprehend the truth prepares that individual responsibility.

    The spiritual master is one who has no other duty other than service to ffice:smarttags" /><?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comaudarya<st1:place>Krishna</st1:place>;
OR simply the ‘total’ … God… existence itself…..

whose intelligence is fixed on <st1:place>Krishna</st1:place> and who sees nothing but <st1:place>Krishna</st1:place>.
Existence and life as it truly is!

He has no desire to hear flattery and so is beholden to no one. He can thus fearlessly preach the truth.
Why flatter a man… it just makes his head bigger than it already is.

If one selfishly uses the gifts his disciples have surrendered to the Lord, taking them as a means to accumulate wealth, women and worldly fame, then he should be renounced immediately as a cheater.
Now do you see why I have not published; someone might think it was me who ‘created’ the truth and make me seem important. Then I could sit on a thrown and put flowers between my toes and say ‘look, lotus feet.’

The ultimate goal of scholarship is to understand one's relation with <st1:place>Krishna</st1:place>
Ah…. Back to the good of Understanding.

Sharing what is true; without the pursuit of things for the self.

Hey….. That’s what the mission of ‘good’ is all about!

    The pursuit of UNDERSTANDING!

The genuine guru does not make anyone his disciple. Rather, he makes everyone his guru by turning those who have no interest in <st1:place>Krishna</st1:place> into devotees.

That is real close……. The idea is each is can be aware, equally and with understanding, thereby responsible by choice to each action, without any need of things, hope, and faith just aware in truth of existence, God and the ‘good’ of life.

Equality is the goal in which to share knowledge, then each can be enlightened of the truth!

To begin each child born with the ‘knowledge of life’ then each can learn without the contradictions; they can understand in all learning; pure to existence.

    Let’s give them that chance!

  19.

Sometimes the way you write really throws me off and I just can not get what you are saying but on this thread for some reason I think I got some of your posts and I can see both sides to this argument. I can see how the materials scientists do sometimes become puffed up and do not give credit to God but I can also see your point about knowledge evolving and preparing for gift to unfold etc.
Peace to you brother. See that big picture as you are capable of. We are equal in compassionate ability to comprehend.. So now share for the next generation these lessons. Teach what you see. Keep the lessons herein learned and begin to live within the truth. Do you see the whole frontier? All within ‘the light’?

Knowledge might evolve but we have to see the quality of this so called evolving knowledge.
That, is also evolving within the interactions of compassionate associations. As the question are experienced the revealing unfolds, such as this thread. A new experience, a new realization; we are evolving; we are One with existence; Us all!

University graduates, are they becoming independent by this kind of education?
As such the first publication was in 82’ for the ‘educational system’ to see but the change is to affect all knowledge, which shares that the paradigm shift will come from the ‘new’ rather than within the ‘system’ of current knowledge. The current regime is highly governed by the business of knowledge rather than the undying requisite of teaching for the benefit of humanity as a collective.

    Hence

Prabhupada: Yes. The modern education means to create dogs.

So guess what, we are with you, the people, the Love for existence, still a trust must be recognized even as the sharing shall remove the rituals of faith.

Dear Bishadi I do not know But your intelligence seem like it is on a different level But if you could bring it down a notch or two it could really help to improve our communication.
In silence of other, remaining capable to articulate that meets the underlying predeterminations of each person is without perfection (none are perfect). The gift is the importance; not the man as each is but a compilation of our experience. The choice is what shares the good. The ‘footprint’ reveals the direction.

I would like to know what you mean by "Set the belief aside"??
Teachers each have retained the belief that knowledge is unknown; this is what the humility of unknowing retains. In a sense this is proper as the time was unprepared. There is a difference in your understanding; today from yesterday. Such is the same in existence.

This is that time; This is that beginning. And then to be capable of understanding, the beliefs in faith and retention of unknowing is over. We can Understand!

Each can comprehend ‘life’ ……. how? And what is? The experience, with existence, can be put to words and live within ‘mind.’

Perhaps your fathers made a covenant with existence and the return is at your door. The material representations are not for practice; the knowledge exists and is very much alive.

Do you see? Are you One with existence? Then that feeling you are experiencing is true!

So to lighten up the conversation; who remembers the line: better start believing in ghost stories Ms. Turner; you’re in One! ???

Or simply what is being presented is what the whole period of existence has been awaiting; the truth!

Just never mind the arrogance of the man; he's a wimp, with a bark! :P

  20.

Like that Bishadi. Leave good footprints behind.

Foot Prints? OK but reality is; that choice to give life, is that godlike ability the sentience of consciousness enables.

We can experience the 'good' prior to imposition; Love.

Bad: is the 'loss to the common' we can impose.

Such that fibs, misrepresentations and the such send the mind (life) on a tangent; a loss to the common.

The new you now understand can offer life ever-lasting simply by 'teaching' another the wisdom of truth now understood.

To understand the physical understanding behind the pure path of life, is the "greatest wonder in the world."
