Hey it is not that bad. Except calculations and interactiveness it is good overall. Although I need sometime to get used to it and understand all it's features, but I think it will be of good help. Please tell me how much relaible it's calcultations is?

Also it is giving different calculations for shad bala strength.

Who is using jhora currently? I need some assistance here

I am getting different calculations for dashas in j hora than I was getting in Parashar's light 6.1. Also 360 days/per year setting in parashar's was giving more accurate and spot on results but 360 days/year setting in jhora is giving different results. Can you please tell me which is more correct and on which we can rely more?

I just downloaded it and tried. It is working fine. But it will take few days to get used to it. Earlier I was using Parashar's light 6.1 which was much easy to use. I was not able to install parashar 6.1 on this system. I think I have to buy parashar's light 7.0 again. But I am not sure that whether it works on vista 64 bit or not. There is nothing mentioned on their site about this. I emailed to their support but no response yet. Can you please tell me that whether parashar's light 6.1 can be installed on 64 vista by any mean? or Does parashar's light 7.0 works well on vista 64 bit?

Respected astrologers, I am not getting a good match for my laptop, I saw and downloaded many astrology software but none of them seems to be working. My laptop uses Vista 64 bit OS and no software seems to be available for this. My eyes are itching to see the planets placed in houses and my brain is drying up in lack of birth charts. I request to respected astrologers that please predict about my laptop that whether will it get marry or will it have to die bachelor? Respected Sanwal ji, I am sorry for the delay in answering your question. this is only because of some technical reason. my new laptop do not have a astrology software installed yet. It uses Windows vista 64 bit and I am not able to get a good software for 64 bit vista so I was not able to analyse any chart. My old laptop's display got faulty few days back So I had to use a borrowed external monitor from my hospital's laboratory which they took back today. I will try to steal the monitor tomorrow again so that I can analyse charts from my old laptop. I will try to answer your question as soon as possible. Respected Pradeep, Lal Kitab has lot of controversial things, which are contradictory to mainline books of Vedic astrology. I am a novice so I prefer to not to wander in periphery and try to stick to core of vedic astrology. I usually refer to lalkitab but seldom use their recommendations. And I am not expert in Lal kitab so I will prefer not to comment on your query. I hope some expert can throw some light on this. For me I strictly stick to BPHS and all the commentators and followers of same. This is because I donot want to get confused As far as for your match making, I personally prefer matching of gunas as well as placement of planets in the spouse's chart and personality, professional and financial indicators in spouse's chart. and being a doctor I always advice seekers to go for essential genetic counselling (This is becoming must in coming days scenario and can be done easily by any experienced physician also regarding Blood group, and genetic diseases in family) and being a human I will advice you to talk to your lady atleast few times and understand each other's view on core issues like profession and family before you take any final decision. Respected pradeep, thanks for pointing out my mistakes. As far as conflicts with spouse is concerned, better is to view both charts. But your chart stated that you will not have too much of differences and the whole differences most probably will not cross general arguments. Although you will be possesive about your wife and will love your wife very much. You may have some problems with offsprings. By remaining away from home you may not remain away from family because of conflicts only, it may be because of other reasons also. Like education, job or any thing else. Sorry If I sound rude. 1) Saturn, 7L is in 8th house, with sun. Sun is in enemy's house and is bitter enemy of saturn. Saturn is too close to sun also. Thus making Sun very fierce and combusting all the effects of Saturn thus creating hurdles in marriage. 2) Venus is also dispositor of Gullika thus affecting 7th house more 3) Sun, lord of family (2H) is in 8th house. Thus and with enemy in enemy's house thus decreasing effect of sun and creating problem in setting up a family 4) Ketu is in 12 H. Respected pradeep, Generally we can not predict a thing only with a single yoga present in a chart. We have tolook for other things also. Let us discuss other things in your chart. Your lord of Family, mother, home and lord of Lagna is in 3rd house. 4th house is aspected by Exalted rahu from 12th house. Your Moon is present in moveable rashi and lagna is a dual rashi. 2nd house denoting family and wealth is occupied by malefic Sun and 12th lord Venus. 7th house denoting spouse is occupied by Retrograde own lord Jupiter which is some weak in shadbala and is aspected by saturn which is 8th hord. Your current dasha is of Rahu since 2007. All this indicate that you have regular conflicts with your parents and more frequently with father and you tend to stay away from home. I want to point out another two things here and ask for comments from other astrologers 1) Lord of education Jupiter in Rashi chart is in 4th house with mercury and moon. and it is exalted in D9 chart. House 5 is occupid by Sun and saturn. can this denote that the lady have a formal education in music, especially classic/religious music. Also Lord of Profession is Venus denoting Arts so she will be associated with music profession officially 2) in Rashi chart 12L is in 4H, 2nd house is occupied by Rahu and 2L is with 12L. lagna lord is with 7L. Can this mean the lady have to move out of home town, and as her lord of profession is in 6H she may have to job at a place far from her home town. (as 12L is debilitated I do not see going in foreign countries) Please correct me where I am wrong Kind Regards Atul

Although with the details you gave, we know that you have Gemini ascendent, and sun being lord of third house is functional malefic, and Venus is lord of 5th and 12th. So it has mixed effect on the house. Both are natural enemies so their proximity will tend them to harm each other. But also we have to consider their strength, their distance with each other, their degree in the house, aspects given by other planets, position and auspiciousness of the jupiter, and planets posited in the houses of Sun and saturn. Respected Hemant, I had considered Navamsha and also dasmansa before predicting. Saturn seems to play important role in all your three charts. Please note that I am a student and not an expert of astrology. Based on these three charts I told you what I felt. Saturn + Moon is good for HR, but we can not ignore other yogas in chart. the final effect in chart should be calculated based on resultant of all the present yogas. By technical line I meant the work which is related with logic and technology. and your graduation is related with that. Not only engineers are related with technology, even a car mechanic who earns more than a engineer is related with technologic work. By saying "Regarding your profession, I think you may not be much successful as a manager." Please take that it doesn't mean that you can not be a manager, you can be a manager no doubt but the fruits you will get may not equal the fruits you may get when related to technical line.
