She is not having child because she is taking a lot of medicines for her mind, these medicines are creating a lot of disturbances in her hormonal equilibrium thus causing difficulty in having child and she had miscarriage three times. I don't have her husband's details for now and will provide as soon as I get them. But I am told that they matched their horoscopes before marriage. Although their 'Gun' were not matching properly but the astrologer said that their planets are matching. It is true that there is nothing mentioned in all our prestigious granths regarding "Manglik dosha" and it was only mentioned in recent granths by modern day astrologers. Secondly even in those books it is mentioned as "Mangalya dosha" (Dosha related to marriage). not specific manglik dosha. Also we can say that, if Mars is lord of house 6, or house 8, 12, or is functional malefic, or is debilitated, and is present in house 7,4,1,12,8 then it is surely inauspicious. In this condition, even if it is saturn, jupiter or Sun or any other planet, even then it is supposed to cause problem in marriage. Manglik doshas get cancelled in certain conditions. These are the following contions which I had come across. I request senior astrologers please rectify the mistakes, if any. So that learners like me can get benefitted and and get their doubt cleared. Manglik dosha get cancelled when: 1. When Mars is in its own sign (Aries, Scorpio), exalted (Capricorn) or in the houses owned by PLANETS SUPPOSED to be his friends (Sun, Jupiter, Moon) manglik dosha gets cancelled. 2. If Mars is in the 2nd house but in Gemini, Virgo sign then the manglik dosha gets cancelled 3. If Mars is in 12th house but in Taurus, Libra then the manglik dosha gets cancelled. 4. If Mars is in 7th house but in Cancer, Capricorn then the manglik dosha gets cancelled. 5. If Mars is in 8th house but in Sagittarius, Pisces no dosha exists. 6. For Cancer and Leo ascendant Mars is a yogakaraka( a beneficial influence) wherever it may be no dosha at all. 7. If benefic Jupiter or Venus is in ascendant no dosha. 8. If Mars is in conjunction or aspected by Jupiter or Moon no dosha. 9. If Mars is in conjunction/aspected by Sun, Mercury, Saturn, Rahu then the manglik dosha does not exist. 10 if the dispositor of Mars (owner of the sign in which Mars is posited) is in kendra (1, 4, 7, 10 houses) or trikona (1, 5, 9 houses) from ascendant, Mars dosha gets cancelled. 11) Similarly, Mars in the 2nd and 7th houses in a female horoscope, and in the 4th and 8th houses in a male horoscope are exempt from most of the malefic effects of kuja dosha (This rule is not sure to me) These are the rules for cancellation of Manglik doshas which cancel the ill effects of manglik doshas in most of the horoscopes. First of all, VERY IMPORTANT THING I MUST SAY, I want to tell you that there are three reasons for the fruits you are getting, 1)your past life karmas (which is reflected in your horoscope) 2) your present life karmas (which deeds you do in this life, like your hardwork, your devotion etc) 3) karmas/bhagya of close relatives (Parents, siblings, enemies etc) all these three factors always affect your life. So you can not explain every bit of your life on based of your horoscope alone. Although I can explain all these events on your horoscope, BUT YOUR PRESENT KARMA DO PLAY A ROLE, definitely. Jupiter may be functional malefic but it is auspiciously placed in your horoscope, so it may have some malefic properties, but as per placement it also must give you some benefic result also Similarly, Although Saturn is functional benefic, but it is also placed badly in your horoscope (lord of house 8) so even being functional benefic it is also supposed to give some negative results. Regrding your marks in 10th - You Jupiter mahadasha started in april 1999 and you must have given the exams in march (although you got the result later) when your Rahu mahadasha was on Regarding your performance in 12th, march- april, even then your pratyantar dasha of rahu was on which is exalted Regarding your preentrance time and time of giving entrance exams, That time is stressful for every student (I can understand as I also had passed through this stage, I am a doctor and I passed PMET) as this time determines your future. in 2003 and 2006, your mercury sub dasha was on and as mercury is also lord of house 12, so it is also supposed to exert some negative effects also it is somewhat malefic in your chart and mercury is lord of your mother's house and also in your mother's house that too exalted, Regarding your problems in profession, your lord of house 10, (profession), lord of house 2 (wealth and prosperity) are sitting along with Mars (lord of house 6), both jupiter and mars are functional malefics in your chart. which are supposed to cause hinderance in your profession. I was searching for this question since long. A similar combination exists im my own horoscope too But there jupiter is not in a trine, so I think the dosha doesn't get cancelled. But my astrologer has told me remedies (like chanting guru mantra, donation of yellow things on thursday, wearing yellow sapphire etc). So I am confused with my chart also. As in my chart the dosha doesn't get cancelled. Then should I strengthen up my jupiter? Regards Atul

Your Mars (lord of house 12- foreign travel, loss; also lord of house 5- knowledge) is in Lagna along with exalted Ketu Venus ( Lord of house 6- disease, problems; functional malefic in your chart) is in house 12 Jupiter (lord of lagna and house 4) also is in house 12 Sun (lord of house 9 - religion, past karma) is in house 12 and is strong and in the rashi of his friend Here combination goes like this: Sun which is benefic for you, but is placed in bad house taking you to travel abroad and creating great urge in you to go to foreign land, Jupiter which is lord of lagna and signifies knowledge and education in one's chart is in bad house and is along with sun Mercury and venus are functional malefic. Hi Amateur, Hello mylilangel You gave your first analysis according to libra lagna But in your second post, you seem to be considering gemini ascendant. Please check. I have done my analysis on the basis of libra lagna where saturn becomes yogakaraka, hence auspicious. I am using Libra ascendantfor analysis. Yes Saturn is auspicious and good for him, no doubt. Also, I believe that though mercury and venus are conjunct exalted sun but they are fairly away from the Sun to be combust. Am I right here? or exaltation can have some role here. Yes you are right and I am wrong for the combustion point, they are in different nakshatra padas so they are not supposed to be combusted. I used animated transit chart so I mistook, but with KM padhti it is clear that they are in different nakshatra padas, hence not being combusted, I apologise for the mistake Here, I want to ask, In a case, where a planet is a malefic usually, but a functional benefic in a chart and weak in shadbala, and is placed badly in chart, then we need to strengthen it or suppress it?
