Dear Ravikishore, You are on the right path. You have gone to the highest. Dont give up the Chandi mantra because you are disturbed. Disturbances arises out of your bad samskaras. The bad tendencies will struggle to prevent you from succeeding in this worship. Both Deva and asuras live in our mind - and it is a warfare between the asuras and deva with in you. The asuras in you will make you miserable so that you give up. But sustain do not yield to your mind. Pray to goddess and seek her help to make you strong. Take bhairo's advise and pray first to Lord Siva with full devotion as your guru before chanting . Then do ganapati chanting for a while with full devotion . Then chant the godess mantra. Chandi a very high goddess and she grant you anything you want. But she will mature you before giving you her boon. You need to follow celibacy when you chant her mantra. Think of all women as the goddess only - including the one you are in love with. Dont miss navaratry days. Do intensly puja and chanting on those days, devoting as much time as possible. You are technically right that any mantra must be chanted as many lackh of times as there are letters in the mantra. By that rule you need to chant this mantra 9 lack of times. But that is only the complete procedure. You need to chant one lack time minimum for siddhi as Bhairo says. Just make that your target first. Later on you intent to complete 9 laks well and good. And my personal advise to you, from my direct experience: Do not ask for the girl to goddess. (Not that there is any thing wrong in that) . Just love goddess for her own sake. Love goddess alone. That is the most ideal way to worship her. With that way of worshipping she is most pleased. And if you continue this way for three years, she will grand you whatever you want. She can make you a great - very very grereat - being . You simply have no idea what she can really make you. With her worship your life purpose is fulfilled. Dear Kavya, Gayatri mantra is supposed to wash away all sins. It is specially ment for that purpose. But there is a hitch in it. It needs initiation and those traditionalist practicing it wiold not initiate it to either women or non bhramins. If you are a women you will no legitimate way of acquring this mantra. ( I personally dont believe in this Manu's dictum that no women and no sudhra can be initiated to gayatri or veda - and no moksha for them. Dear Serchingeye, Pure kundalini yoga is the otherr way. There are yogaiddhis will will give you any power you seek. Of course You may not get any siddhi by mear kundalini awakening. You need to specially work for that. Samyama is the technique. If you do samyama on the three times- past, present, future - you will get trikal jnan. If you do samyama on a person's mind you will know all about the contents of that mind. If you do samyama on a creatures nady system you can enter that creatures body and control that creature, etc. It is a tedious long way . But it is worth the effort. Besides it is neat and clean. Dear Suchandra, By the by science need not be wrong.I personally dont reject science. When scientists find no heart, in some creatures it may still be right. Because , I believe that, while I take literal meaning to vedic term Hrdi, Vedic Hrdi still does not mean a blood pump of the physical scientist. I believe it means the spiritual center of Anahada. which insidently coincides with the spacial location of blood pump, in the case of human beings. If we cut open the physical blood pump we cannot see any blue light in it. To see it you need a psychic /spiritual vision. If one sees with that spiritual eye one can see every creature has this light in their spiritual hearts - Hrdi - even if they dont have a physical pump. Creatures which does not have a blood pump, still have ther souls, and soul resides in the Hrdi. ( with out intenting to start a quaral) Lord Siva does not represent tamasic form. (As you seems to have acepted) In fact He is Satvic. Look at the colour code system of the tree gunas. Satva is white and rajas is red or golden and tamas is black or blue. Now look at Sivas colour. He is pure white. Bhrama is rajasic (Yellow) and Vishnu is tamasic (Black or blue) . Therev is even an explicit declaration of the gunas of the three gods apart from thee colour code, in Pradamika rahasya of durga saptasati. In Pradamika rahasya , the three pairs of gods and goddess are described as follows: First from the grand godess three being arose: in pure satva form white mahasaraswati pure rajasic form golden maha lakshmi and pure tamasic form black mahakali. From pure satvic maha saraswati arouse two pairs - brother and syster - Siva and Saraswati. From rajasic mahalakshmi two rajasic manifestation the couple Bhrama and Lakshmi Golden in colour arose. From pure tamasic Mahakali arose two thamasic being dark coloured Vishnu and kali arose. Then Bhrama married saraswati, visnu married lakshmi and Sive married Kali. Siva himself is pure satvic manifestation. It is kali who is tamasic, not siva. Of course siva is married to kali there by possesses tamasic shakti as his partner. That is only because only a pure sartvic guy like Siva could be entrested with such a dangerous destructive power. Only a purely satvic being can use that dangerous power with out being corrept by power and will put in to right use with out any personal motiveand desire.( rajas) or ignorance (tamas) Siva is pure satvic He is a saint perfect. What is Heart?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:" /><o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> Sanskrit language does have distinct words for heart (Hrdi) and soul (Athma) . The question of using one word when it means another doesn’t arise in such a case. We don’t interpret metaphorically when direct meaning is clear in Vedic verses. <o:p></o:p> Hrdi is to be taken literally not in any other sense. For this I have I have two supporting claims. One is the Veda Bhashya (Vedic hermeneutics) rule that texts need to be interpreted literally where ever literal words are employed. We interpret metaphorically only when the construction itself is symbolic and direct reading leads to absurdity. (For example a guest (Atiti) being sky, father, mother and child. We cannot make any direct sense of an atiti being sky. We cannot also make sense of how the same person could be a father mother and child simultaneously. Here the words are metaphorical) <o:p></o:p> Second of course very personal experiential validation of the claim that lord resides in every heart. People could of course reject this as some hallucination. However I am sharing this to the forum so that a true Visnavite will see that gods words are not any nonsense. <o:p></o:p> From very early in my childhood days onwards – from earliest time I could recall – which in my case is from my crawling stage – I experienced a very very tiny blue light in my heart ( in my physical heart) . The light was so subtle and small – many times smaller than hair – but not fainter. This light was always there and I continued to experience it till I grew up to my high school days. When I was a child it was continuously there when I grew up and learned many things – as my mind became extraverted, the light dispersed, during my day time, and returned back when my mind became restful just before sleep. By this I infer it was always there but my mind busily occupied with external world missed to notice it. <o:p></o:p> When I started talking and able to understand language, my grandmother used to tell me religious stories. I liked Krishna’s stories instantly and I liked <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comKrishna</st1:place> among all gods. I found him very charming. And ever since I formed a clear Image of Child Krishna, Another development started happening to the minute blue light. When I am about to sleep , every day , in the hypno-gogic state, ( the restful state just before one falls asleep) the blue light transformed in to a full fledged baby Krishna – much more beautiful than any of the pictures of Krishna of that we see in the real world. No one could paint the <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> of my heart any where near perfection. And the whole night I dreamed of <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place>. In my early childhood I had no other dream. <o:p></o:p> Of course the experience disappeared as my mind became more and more external oriented as I learned more and more of all sorts of things in the process of physically growing, and only returned occasionally when I took up meditation practices when my mind turned inwards. Now I don’t see that blue light any more. (But I assume it is there). <o:p></o:p> There is reason to believe this is not my imagination (though it could be still hallucination) My reason that it is not My imagination is that I experienced this blue light in my heart smaller than the smallest much before I read Bhagavad-Gita or any other material to this effect. My grand mother who introduced me to puranic stories dint know anything about this Upanishadic conception of the tiny blue light in the heart. I discovered that the Upanishad describes what I have naturally experienced from my child hood much latter – in my college days- with much of my surprise and delight. Scriptures, especially Upanishads describes truth. Even if I reject the Krishna’s form that sprang in to existence from the abstract blue light as the result of my imagination due to hearing of my grandma’s stories, I have no reason to reject the tiny blue light it self, which I saw from much before any acquired knowledge of it. <o:p></o:p> Hence I conclude that the claim that Lord resides in the heart of creatures is a literally true claim. <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> Of course some of you who are hell-bent on rejecting the literal interpretation on this because it does not accord with science or your own notion or whatever purpose, can still reject this as any evidence and conclude this is all sign of my childhood madness. Dear Weallshineon, Tou are talking about the mega dooms day at the end of the Kali age. While that is true. and Kalki will come only at that time to establish a new Satya yuga, by this god has given no guaranty that in between he will not visit. The 10 incarnations are only the vmega incarnations. Appart from this there are many many incarnations for a varieties of purposes. When ever there is evil( adarma) raises he will come again and again. Not neately just 10 times and mean while we can have our gala time with evil ways with our assurance that Kalki is going to come only at the end of kali, for now commit sin gloriously. No there is no such guaranty is offered. A positive proposition doesnot imply a negative corollery. From the prediction that at the end of 427000 years God will incarnate does not imply before this he will not incarnate. ( well Kalki will not come before but there are so many other incarnations of the lord. When ever there is adarma to establish darma God will again and again manifest). Dear Querty, Lack of concentration may be caused by many reasons. Lack of brain protines. Lack of interest in the area of study. Stress due to some pressing problems - (Like falling in love and unfulfilled love for example) Or even a simple problem of eye. If you need a spectacle and not using one you will not stydy much as that would cause stress to your eye. The solution depends on the right diagnoses. If Brain chemistory is the cause then it must be solved by taking appropriate medicines supplying the nessary protines . If you are stressed due to some pressing life problems then that problem must be squarly faced and handled. If you are not interested in enginiring - if it is a wrong choice - then that issue must be addressed. If none of these are applicaple and it is just a lack of mental training, then I can prescribe an exercise. But it works only if no other factors are the cause of the problem. Sit in some place where privacy exists - where you are not watched by anyone and where you can be free for some time with out being disturbed. Then closing your eves listern to all the sounds around you. Expand the area of the range of the sounds that you could hear from near to far wvewery far and faint sounds. Listern to all without choosing All must be heared simultanoiusly. Do this for about five minutes. ( Dont check your watch. just go by youe judgement of time. Once you closed your eyes you cannot open till the entire exercise is over.Dont yse an alarm either. ) Then, You focus your attention to your own breating process. Just whach your breating. Breath goes in it comes out. Just watch it. Do not manipulate the speed or rithem Let the breating process be natural. All that you need to do it is just be a detached neutral witness to the process. Do not miss a single breath. Just watch the process for about 20 minutes to 30 minutes, with out missing a singlwe breath. If thoughts arise in your mind do not fight with it do not struggle to be thought free. Just let the mind be . Let the thoughts arise and subside on oits own. Be a neutral witness to that too. Dont get involved in your thought. Like you are watching clouds in the sky, which comes chenges its form and go, let the thoughts arise, change and subside . You have nothing to do with them. Do not try to forcefully control them . Do not get involved in them either. Be a neutral witness. But never loose track of breathing process. Let the thoughts be the background music as in movie to the main seen - that is your breathing. Without fighting with your mind stay put with your breathing . Just focus your attention to the breathing process and let your mind do what it wants to do in the background. In case your focus shifts from breathing to some thought and you got involved in a thought for a while forgetting your breating process no worry. As soon as you realise this - that you are distracted by a thought and got involved in a thought (or emotion) and forgot your breathing process, as soon as you realise this return back to the breathing awareness. Dont take it as a sin that you missed a few breaths. It is okey. And it will happen initially many times. But if you continue this excercise for a few days, you will gain an abllity to stay focused on your breathing with out missing a single breath, though the thoughts will come and go in the backgroung. If you do this for a few days you will notice you are deeply relaxed. You will feel as if you had a deep sleep. And as you continue this exercise regularly your distracting thoughts will vanish and you will experience a silent mind. And even the breath will stop, for a while, and regain again. When this happens you will feel a deep rest and your mind will not bother you with so many distracting thoughts even when you are not doing the exercise. The sense of calm will spill over to the entire day - when you are studying and doing other things. Your problem of distracting mind will vanish and you can concentrate on any task with out distraction. It is a meditation technique. This itself is sufficient. But if you like to really boost your concentractin power then you can add one more exercise to this. Siting with closed eyes as before, think of some part of your body-- say your sole of your feet. Fix your attention on the sole of your feet and be awaer of the surface. Minutely be aware of all the sensation and fealing that you could find in this region - how much is the warmth ? what is the sensation? where it is touching the ground or shoue? What is the texture of the surface in contact ? Is there any tention in that region? etc. Watch everything minutely. Dont stay there too long just half a minute will do . Then move on to some other part - say ancle. Now do the same thing staying there - study minutely. then move on to your calf muscle and do the same thing . then to knee cap and do the same thing. Like wise go up till the crown. In this process you may fall asleep well before you reach your crown. No harm. You needed that reat. This exercise will also be relaxing deeply. In due course you will be able to reach your crown before sleeping. Then The rest of the time you can move your awareness any where in your body randomly. Only condition is dont get out of your body. Just remain with in your body and let the mind wander as it pleases with in your body. This will give you a terrific concentration power in due course. But remember these techniques will work only if you have no severe emotional disturbance due to other problems in life. If you have some other life problems you need to handle it squarly first. Dear HST If you have not done any kundalini krias or yoga or breathing exercise the beings are not likely to be elemental spirits. (There is still a possibility that chakra can activate spontanoiusly but that is an extreemly rare posibility). By the description you have given they seems more of angels and spirit guides (Angels have wings).I am not sute that they are yakshanis. I just picked up from your own post. Dear Jaguar, Being good is not the qualification to get moksha. Moksha meens freedom from karmic chain altogether. A person who is doing a lot of good karma accumulates punya and gets Swarga, as a result of good acts. But that is still being bound by karma. A golden chain with wich one is bound is still chain - a good person is not free from karma but is still bound by his karma. A mukta on the other hand is free altogether - free from good and bad karma. All karmas are burned to ashes. Karma does not bear fruits- good or bad - for such a person. Only such a person attains Mukti. One does not need to directly deal with kundalini to get mukti. Jnana yoga, bhakti yoga and karma yoga - the three classical paths for mukti - none of them deal with explicitly kundalini. Nonthe less they are valied paths. The difference betyween kundalini yoga( raja yoga) and the other classical paths is that Rajayoga is like a medical sciences - say gynaecology. The physicion knows all the technical details of conception and child birth. Where as a women not knowing any of these theories still gives birth to a baby is int it? A jnana yogi, bhakti yogi and karma yogi are like that women who knows how to deliver a baby(mukti) with out knowing the theory of it. Where as a raja yogy is able to explain and analysis what exactly happening in the process. Other jogas are arts of mukti. Raja yoga is the science of mukti. Dear Jaguar, I dont know whether kundalini awakening is the only way to attain god whatever that may mean. What I certainly know is that it is the only way to know god. All the vedic rishis too have known bhraman by this only though they dont speak of the word kundalini. The word was invented latter. All worship methods are supposed to be tantric. Any worship a deity with a form and an emotional involvement like dasya bhava, saha bhava, vatsalya bhava, ect are all tantric. Employing a mantra jaba is tantric. They all are techniques of awakening kundalini only. Tantra is the technique of awakening kundalini shakti. That is the definition of tantra and all worship methods, falls under this. Well , having said that, there are more effecticve ways and less effective ways of awakening kundalini. Iswara Bhakti is one method of awakening kundalini. But it is less effective than yoga generally. There are certain tantric methods that awake kundalini instantianeously too. But they are sectrets and risky too. You will not go to hell if you dont awaken your kundalini. It is not a sin. But you will not get moksha with out awakening kundalini. (Moksha is a state achieved by souls whose kundalini has reaches sahasrara). You will just continue in the birth cycles endlessly, dictated by karmic chain. There may not be any guru who can activate your kundalini just by grace. But you can try astanga yoga. That you can learn from any yogic teacher. But You must remember these teachers of yoga are not the ones whose kundalini is awakened. Hence dont expect miracles. I am still suggesting this because it is declared in yoga philosophy and in Geeta, that nothing is a waste. Anything you start will continue even in to your next birth. Dear Shrikant, While what you are saying is true - heat and cold exists in the body too, there by making it an argument to dismiss the world outside and science is reducing to idealism ( or maya vada). In idealism the world does not exist except as an idea in a mind. (hence maya) Realism - which is the bacic assumption of science - assumes that the world is real and exists independant of our mind and its conception, and is governed its own objective and real processes independ of our subjective conceptions of it. Your ideas of heat and cold bringing nabi and throat chakra in to picture seems to reduce the world process to individual phenominon - and hence subjective phenominon - that is idealism, a rejection of realism. The world exists. It is real, and is objective. You will have to accept this unless of course you are an idealist. Dear HST, I dont know why you call them elemental beings. May be you are using the term the psychics used. They may not be elemental being but angels. Asuming they are elemental beings, I am interpreting your situation. Elemental being means, in Hindu terminology, Panja boodas. which means the five elemental entities: Earth, water, fire , wind and space. - the consciousness associated with these five elements. ( everything in the universe is conscious). I also do not know whether the psychics have pinpointed which element of these five they are refering to. If all the beings that surround you belong to one elemental group, say earth, then it means your Muladhara chakra is active. If they are water related then swadistana is active if they are fire element then manipuraka is active and so on. Chakras have their association with elements. When the chakra is activated the corresponding elements are worked on and the elemental being are attracted to you. Do you or did you inviolve in kundalini related krias any time ? if you did that explain the results. If that is the case all that you need to do is to go advanced in the path of kundalini yoga. In due course you will win all the five elements. Booda Jaya it is called in yogic literature. That is if they are elemental beings. They could be angels, - yakshnis. By the by everything can be called elemental being in one sence - though that is not technically very correct. Everything came from or composed of five elements only and hence everything is elemental being . Angels too. But this is not a technically correct clasification system. Composit entities are not technically called elemental. If they are angels, the western method is just to invite them and prey to them to reveal them fully. You dont even need any specific mantra for thes as they are only happy to reveal to you and help you, according to western traditions of occultism. Just invite them and ask for ther healp from your heart. Mostly they are likely to be your guardian angels and teachers. They will gladly reveal themselves and guide you, (according to western occultism). When you ask for revealing they wont appear in front of you like a fairy tale image. You need to look for omens and symptoms around you. Just watch for the signs in your life. May be a white feather of a bird ( assumed to be the presence of a fairy) will fall. May be some one will answer your (hidden) questions. May be some book suddenly reach you which will answer you. Things like that you need to watch for in your life. Dear Ravikishore, I know you are desperare to fullfill your desire, and you will do anything to get it. There is guilt in you for certain and that is why you are seeking advise to resolve the gilt. My advise in this kind of situation is simple. Do not do anything which involve guilt. It will never let you live a peaceful life. Even when you seems to be peaceful mostly, it will come back at time of misery at time of your sickness and at your time of death. It will claim you badly. So dont do anything whith a guilt feeling. Your present struggle is this only. You are trying to ward of your guilt, so that you can go ahead with action But once entered your mind guilt will never leave, even if some one assures you there is no sin. Because that is someone's else assurance. Not your own conviction. (If you are convinced you will not seek advise). My second advise to you is that people who claim power and advetise are not the really powerful ones. They cannot solve your problem. Truely powerful peoplre are extreemly rare, and they keep their knowledge to themselves - not advertise it, not sell it. There is no point in trying to solve your problem with a 'professional tantric'. True tantrics are supposed to keep their knowledge as well as their idendity a secret. It is a law in tantric discipline. A genune tantric is never known to the world. Of course you can get the information, mantra and procedures from books. Many who claim that they are tantrics are of this veriety. They have picked up from books and are making a business out of that. It will not work. One needsa siddha guru for genune power. The knowledge should come from the original Sva who is the first guru in unbroken lineage. If this is not the case, there is no siddhi. And if this is the case, the receiver of this wisdom is supposed to keep it a secreat, only to be revealed to a worthy deciple at the time of initiation. No one else would know such a tantric guru. And such a siddha will not use knowledge commercially. The only posibility of your gaining any advantage of such tantrac siddha, is by luck you happen to meet one of them, which is extreemly rare chance - lesser than the probability of your winning a huge sum by lottery- and that siddha by just mercy, decide to solve your problem. Ms Msnamita, I dont take offence as I understand you. You are angry and I can understand that. I dont intend to start an argument with you. That is not my intention. But let me briefly respond to your last post to clear the confusion it could cause in the minds of concerned people and neutral reader. Ramakrishna 'married', sure. But there was no sex - he was a celibate. No beastly project Procreation. Hence it was not a marriage at all. Two people were hanging around there together. There is no sin in that sort of relationship. As to Lord Siva or any other god for that matter, having wife and children and fighting wars and all that kind of stuff, - do you really believe all this nonsence? Is god like us mortals having needs and problems. They are myths - mytological stories ( I call it cock and bull stories). They are not to be taken literally -they are symbolic. Philosophical principles are contained in them. If you take literal meaning to mythology it leads to absurdities. Thinking of krishna as really having married to somany wifes and all that - what nonsense! Krishna represent Paramatma - the transcentantal soul. All jevas (souls) - many many in number - are the gopikas. All jeevatmas are the parteners - wifes of - paramatma this is the philosophic esoteric meaning behind Krishna's story. What I am saying is explictely stated in the same mythological stories - in the tatva( philosophy) section of every mythology. There is no contradiction in what I say and do. When I ask Ravikishore to go and try out, I am saying this with absolute conviction that he will not succeed because there are no tantrics out there in the streets. This was my position in the case of the previous friend with his sister's problem . I am consistent. Where is the contradiction? Sometime I will post you the skaned copy of a portion of a magic(trick) book which gives how to do what he has shown you by the name of telipathy. My advise now to you is not to seek tantrics. Because you have a conflicts associated with it. You are guilty of employing it. That guilt will never leave you in your life if you do what you are planning to do. There is a difference between Valmiki and you. In Valkimiki's case, he dint know he was a sinner. He was not having any sence of guilt when he was leading a sinful life. He was doing it ignorantly. When he realised he was wrong he changed himself. God forgave his sins of ignorance. In your case, you seems to suffer by guilt even when you contemplate your action. That means you have full knowledge that you are doing something wrong. Your strategy, that "let me commit the sin first and then appeal to god for forgiveness" wont work. Isint it? think of it. Dear Ravikishore, Do not get confused when I am explaining the concept of evil in a context of spiritual perspective. According to spiritual perspective, Being materialistic is evil and that is the only definition of evil. Because it will not allow you to be liberated. It will only be deeply immerse you in the material realm and bring you next birth next to that and next to that and so on in endless sequences of birth. This is evil and action from your part that givers you this result is sin. By this definition of sin even if you get married to a girl by normal social ,convention - say a typical arrangerd marrage - it is a sin. Because You are leading a metrialistic life. Tour leading an animal existence surrendering to the animal instinct of sex and reproduction. You are not striving for liberation . You are not transcending your beastly nature. You get it? Living the very materialistic nature immersed in ignorance and not seeking liberation is sin. If You lead that life style certainly it will bring you a next birth. If you are not renouncing the world it is a sin. It has nothing to do with tantra. Even if you dont employ tantra and acquire a girl in a traditional sober socially sanctioned way it is still a sin. Given the fact mejority of people do live that way and by all probability you could be one of them makes me not to preach to you to renounce. As a result of this ignorance and their own fear they commit attrocious crime againt tantric practicioners. In the west there was one time when the orthodox church commited atrocious crimes - witch burning and torchering and all that stuff - against people who were involved in Wika. Wika simply is a old religion before cristinaty came to existence and is as wholy as cristianity itself. Only that it is a different religion. Even in india in supersticious villages we come across terible crime against some old poor women accused to be witch practice. Tantra is not evil. It is holy -Very holy. The word meaning of tantra is technique , technology. It is a technology of transmutation of soul to God - of jeeva to Siva. All tantras - there are sixty four of them - are techniques of kundalini awakening. Kundalini is the Shakti - power -that all tantras deals with and nothing else. All the gods and goddesses involved in tantra are the same kundalini - its various manifestations in human body. Each chakra in the body is associated with a tantric deity and each nerve associated with that chakra has a specific goddess. For example in the root centre is the tantric goddes Dakini, In Swadistana is Rahini, and so on. Each Goddess in turrn is the head of a host of other deities associated with eash nerve. The powers - siddhis - supernatural accomplishments - come from unlashing our own inner potentials. We get various powers when we awake kundalini and activarte various nerve centres whch lie dormant in average human. According to tantric science there are Eight centres in the bogy. ( the more convintional seven chakra plus one more situated in between throat and evebrow - at the place where there is an hole at the pallet inside mouth ) Each of these eight centres has eight nerves radiating from them and there are thus 8X8 = 64 spiritual nerves. Each nerve is associates with a yogic godess called Yogini and associated with a yogic power called yoga siddhi. Thus there are 64 yoginis, sixty four Siddhis, and Sixty four tantras. There is nothing evil about practicing tantra. It is in fact our duty to accomplish our full potential . Being born as human and not achiving what we are capable of , and living like a beast - just eating, mating sleeping and reproducing - which is called socally normal life is disgusting and sinful. Tantras are very holy. They give us the methods of unlashing our own potetials. All the Tantric gods and powers are our own aspects. Tantra is a most wonderful science dealing with the inner wisdom. Rama Krishna Paramahamsa the top class mystic of Bengal practiced tantric path. Kali worship (and for that matter any worship of any deity with form - idol , and mantra) is tantric. If fact he was trained in all sixty four tantras. But the ignorant version of tantra probagated in the streets of Bengal is full of misinformation, ignorance and fear. People are made to fear "Black magic" in order to make a business of "whit magic" . This is a business con. There is no blackmagic and whitemagic. There is only one magic - the principles are same. However the use might differ - just like the same knife could be used to kill in the hands of the murderer and save life in the hand of a surgion. When people develop power using kundalini - and all powers are due to kundalini only, there are no other power - it can be used for good purpose or for bad purpose. The good purpose is to seek liberation the bad purpose is to seek fullfilment of materialistic desires. That is the spiritual definition of good and evil. By this definition by whatever method one is involved in materilistic desire fulfilment - tantra or other wise - is evil. It is not tanta it self that is evil. Tantra is Holy. It is worshiping science, a science of transcendance. A science of transformation of soul to god. In Kali age, scriptural texts declare that Veda will not be effective. Only agamas - the worshipping methods of deities, with form mantra and rictuals - are declared to be effective. Tantras are part of agamas. They are the holy of the holiest religions. In previous ages only hereand there people achieved the mystical experience - one budha here one jesus there once a while. But in New age it is supposed to be a age of spiritual revolution and people in masses attain the comnscious of mystics due to the evolutional progress. this is the western astrological prediction of acqurarian age. If you read my advise to ravikishor carefully, I did maintain that original purpose of tantra is for spiritual purpose of raising kundalini and of god realization. If you see my previous advice to him I asked him to turn to god and leave it to god. One of my purpose of my talk to him is to releave him of his guilt. It is very theraputic and needed for him in this situation. You need to understand my posting in context. Now comming to tantra proper and your frightened attitude towards it. It is a science and as you have rightly mentiomned there is siva and sakti in it. All tantras are works of siva and I respect Siva. I dont think he has revealed some evil knowledge to the world - as some people prefer to think . Do you think Siva is evil as he revealed tantra to man kind? It is a science. From that perspective If I am giving knowledge to some one there is nothing wrong in it. It is a different matter if people have fear and prejudices towards certain knowlegdhge forms. I know how hard I strived to get that knowledge due to people's secretiveness. I dont want to be like that. I will give away knowledge freely.
