  2. Dear Rajan, That is a interesting question. Technically no divisional charts , otherthan the rasi chart (D1) is the realistic chart of the planets as they are in the sky. In some cases even imposible positions occur in some of the divisional charts. For example, we know that , in the real positioning of planets, represented by the rasi chart, Rahu and Ketu always are always at 180 degrees to one another ( occupoying the opposite houses) and can never be together. But in some of the divisional chart it is quite possible that Rahu and Ketu are together in a sign. Hora (D2) , Shodasamsa(D16), Vimsamsa (D20), Chaturvimdamsa (D24), Trimshamsa(d30) , Khavedamsa, Akshvedamsa are examples for this. ( I have taken these example divisional chart from my own horoscopic divisional charts. In other divisional charts also this imposible combination is quite possible). Similarly other impossible combinations of planets can also be noticed in all divisional charts (except in D-1 ) . For example in the real shy, Sun and Mercury can never be far away moved more than 2 signs. ( as Mercury is closest planet to the sun). But you can easily see cases of navamsa chart( and other divisional charts too) that this is no more the case and sun and mercury are far distanced in many signes away- in fact sun and mercury could be anywhere independly. (Similarly Venus and sun positioning is another case to be considered, as venus is also close to sun ) All these anomalies happen in divisional charts because divisoional charts are not representing the real positions of the actual celestrial bodioes . They are fictious charts calculated with certain mathetical rules. And these rules do not prevent in generating imposible combinations and positions. Hence the question of one's navamsa chart ( or any other divisional chart) being another's real rasi chart does not arrise. One could have imposible novamsa chart that can never hapen in the real sky. Hovever it is possible that, few cases the navamsa turns out be a very normal possible confugration corresponding to some real confugaration . That is, the fictious chart of novamsa can , once in a while turnout to be the representation of some real sky (of some time ). In that case the navamsa of one can be the natal chart of another.   5. Hey, The divide between since and religion is purely a western conception. Because western religion is metaphysical - You cannot know god. ( Jesus could know god because he was god , he was the son of god. ordinary lesser mortals like us cannot know god) You need to accept the religious truths by faith and faith alone - no place for reason as reason is a quality of satan. You cannot prove gods existance by any emprical tests and experimentation. Hence western religion sets it self against reason and science which is based on emprical proof. ( positivistic) . Westion religion is shroply anti positivistic (No rational or empirical proof for the existence of god and religious truths). Easton religions, expecially Hndusism, has no such peoblem. Right from the begining there is no quarrels between reason and religion. Hindu tradition Puts forth reasoing as one of the major means of knowing god (jnana yoga). It also encourages scientific temper - You can know god - everybody can know god - Religious truths can be tested and proved by anyone- There is a method to find and validate its truth - This can be done with the science of rajayoga. That is prety scientific attituude isint it? Only the tools of scientific testing are not any external devices like microcoscope or telescope but youe owwn body and mind. Nonthe less it is scientific. Hindu religion is very much positivistic - that is , If you wish to prove religious claims there are methods to do that. In fact one is encouraged to engage in this science of yoga for onself. No unreasonable demand on blind faith. Hence the animocity and heated debate between scientific camp and religious camp is completely irrelevent in the case of Hinduism. It is valied only to westen forms of religions - more specifically to Cristionity. K.Ravindran
  6. Who is our real Guru? The real guru is inside- in the head of all beings- in the Gurumandala just above ajna chakra. The gurus that we find outside are the ones whose gurumandala is active. Without this guru-centre in side one-self active no one can be a genune guru. Once the inner guru is activated the need and role of an external guru comes to an end as spiritual lessions and knowledge spontaniously springs from this inner guru-centre. K.Ravindran
  7. What is god? Consciousness - Cit - is god. Consciuosness exists in two states: (1) The bound state: limited and traped inside some matter - flesh, blood, nerve and bone in the case of animal and human beings - called Jeevatman (2) The unbound state: unlimited and free and transentandal consciuosness - called Paramatman. They are one and the same essentially. All jeevatmans are parts of the one big whole paramatman. Technically we call Paramatman as God and jeevatman as soul, jeeva, creature and so on. K.Ravindran

  9. Sivagamas declare that Lord Siva graces deciples by three kinds of initiation. First, For ordinary average deciples Lord siva comes as a human gury in flesh and blood and initiate. ( all spiritual gurus are siva swarupas) For very advanced few, Lord siva apperrs in his devine form With four hands, matteed hair, three eyes and cresent moon and initiate. For perfect deciples Lord Siva initiates by being His formless state being present in the mind inside the deciple's own head. This must settle the debate and confusion about guru being physical or not. Mantras are sacred. Hence these should be mastered only with the help of a Guru. This is most important as correct pronunciation of each word counts a lot in attaining the desired benefit. Those who cant recite with clarity should propitiate with the help of learned Brahmin scholars. Vashikaran mantras are many and each god and goddess have the power to exert their own powers to attract. The mantra for Ganesh vashikaran mantra is Om aim hreem shreem kleem gloum gum ganapataye vara varada sarva janam me vashamaanaya swaha. Similarly instead of sarvajam, u can use any individuals name u may desire to attract. Never misuse this mantra. You will find them in your side of the world I am told , as it is an African religion - precurser to voodoo. Voodoo is a corrept verson mingled with cristianity, I learn.   12. Helo Sunanda, You need power to do that. It all depends howmuch bpower you have or stored by your sadana. usually a neophyte cannot do that - unless of course the nepphyte is alraday developed those powers i previous births, in which case, technically such a person is not a neophyte. In addition to the spirirual gurus, Chi Gong masters of china are also supposed to have this power. By mear loof from a distance they can deliver powerful blow or cure diseases . They doit by pranic (Chi) manipulation . For a fresher to do such things is possible with the help of energy boosters. Siddha medical texts reports that a particular hearb called 'Kundru Thangi' ('rock bearer' in english translation ) is supposed to boost pranic energy tremendously and is used by the tamil martial artists (varmani) to deliver powerful blows on enemy just by look from a distance. This technique is called "Noku Varma" (look Varma) One needs to just keep the herb in one's mouth and look at ememy with the intention of delivering the blow.   13. Dear Innocent, Not only mantras can be invented but even completly new Gods, devadas and entities can be invented and created, according to tantrra sastra. There are tantrics ( expecially black magic type) who routinly create new psychic entities for their use. Of course it is a science in itself and you need to be an adept to do such things. The basic principle of such creation is the tantric principle that "Mantra and devada are one and the same". That is, Mantras are not the names of a devada ( as you and I have our names and we are not our names) , but the devada is the mantra. (Word Krisna is lord Krisna) This is the difference between human names and the names(mantras) of gods. Principole two: Every sound - letter is a mantra, havindg its own consciousness( devada) . At least this is the case in Sanscret language and is true in Hebrew too. Sanscrit alphabet ( and Hebrew letters) cannot be taken as mearly some sounds for communication purposes as in the case of english . They are deities on their own account and have associated consciousness and powers. Sanscrit language is not an arbitary system of sounds just for communication . Sanscrit alphabets are discovered by rishies from within the body. Each sanscrit letter is a seed mantra and exists as such in the chakra petels of the yogic centres inside the human body. and Hence any word uttered in sanscret is a mantra. That is why The entire Veda is considered to be mantras. There are no separate mantras given in Veda - the entire Veda is mantra. This knowledge gives us the flexibility to create new mantras and new deities - any string of letters in sanscrit is a mantra.   14. Dear Devi bhakt, There are two kinds of "possessions" 1) Genune possessions by higher forces gods and goddessess. 2) Hysteria - a kind of nervous disorder. In the case of genune possessions, the person possessed will have some miraculas powers. They anser questons put correctly, fore warn future, cure diseases, solve problems, and give siddhis to chosen people. An example is Edgar Caisee of America who used to enter in to transe state and accurately diagnose peoples diseases, with out phically exammining them and even from faraway with only name and address of people. He dint have any medical education. He was possessed by a healing spirit. If it is a case of neurosis , the person will speak and behave like god/ goddess and might answer questions , give instructions. but they are utterly barron of truth or usefulness. They will lake the wisdom and power of the godess which they claim to be possedded of, That is ,upon close examinatoion these people are with out any knowledge and power of anysort. Hysteria is very common among women. The first thing in a possession case is to make this distinction and decide whether it is hysteria or genune goddess possession. If it is hysteria then Psychotherapy is to be resorted. If it is genune goddess comming in the body then it must be nurtured. I know the ways of nurturing it but more of it latter. My suggesstion is to experiment and find out whether you possess genune power or false manifestations of goddessess. Perhaps you can find out about me in your trance state. You can let me know what goddess has to tell about me and to me. I have a very important question for the goddess in my mind right now at this stage of my life . ( I am not revealing it - perpusily) You can ask the goddess what her answer for my important question. If it is a genune possession of the goddess possession She will know what i am seeking and annswer approprately. If it is not a genune possession , then in the trance state either innappriate answer will come or some escuses will be offered without directly answering . Perhaps you can try this test. Besides being fun it is a very useful expiriment for both you and me. One more thing . You will not remember anything of what you said in the possessed state. You need someone to pose the question to you in the possessd stare and latter tell you what were the instructions.   15. Rajeevdharji One way to find your kuladevata is to consult nadi jyodish. If you can consult an authentic nadi text with this question you will get an answer. In fact Everything about you, known and unknown are contained in nadi. Another way is to consult an austrologer dealing with temple and gods. You will find them mostly in kerala, as there the quiries related to temple and gods atre consulted and expertise is awailable there. To know who they are you need to only enquire any big temple at kerala, as tghey have their bord of astrologers. Third method of finding out is to ask the goddess herself. Consult any genunely goddess possesed person and ask. In the possessed state the goddess will answer your question. K.Ravindran

Hello Innocent Gayatri mantra originally is of Vadic and Arian origin for sun worship ( Savita, savitri) latter extended to various deities of northan sanscrit hinduism - gods refered in sanscrit texts. there are no gayatries for typical dravidian gods. Sangili karupan and muniappan are typical village deities of tamil nadu and hense no gayatri for them. Of course you can invent gayatri for them by interfacing three names of the deity with the four words of gayatri: 'Vidmahe', 'Dhimahi', 'Tanno' and 'Prachodayat'. The general form ; .........Vidmahe........dimahi, tanno .......prachodayat. Wherever the dots appear fill in one name of the deity. If you know any three name of Sangilikarupan you can invent his gayatri mantra by this formula, provided you dont strictly believe all mantras are discovered by ancient rishis and you cannot create one for yourself. If fact only Veda mantras (the entire veda) are discovered by rishies all latter mantras of various gayatris of various deities are invented by others. By the by if you are interested in worshiping or invoking these deities you dont need their gayatri forms. Local names and songs are potent enough to invoke them. Afterall these deities have been worshipped for ages by local deciples and siddhas isint it? What is the need to sanscritise them? K.Ravindran

Dear Serchingeye, If you want to start any mantra with out a siddha guru, Go to the presence of Dakshnimurthy ( some traditional south indian temples of siva will have Dakshnimurti pradista) on a holy day. Usually any astami didi or triyodasi didi in the evening (Pradosam day) are considered to be good days and time. Any good thursday too can be a choice . Dakshina murthy is the teacher god. He is the guru for all vidyas and the first guru for all. Prey with devotion and complete surrender. White flowes bel leaves and chenna gram mala are normally used in his worship. Having worshiped with devotion and having surrendered to him completely pray to be your guru for a choosen vidya and mantra. Then chant ganesa mantra. Meditate ganasa in the mooladhara . ( Root of your spine - actually the space between your sex organ and anus. You can feel a soft portion , by touch, between the organ of sex and anus - this is the place where ganasa sits. Meditare there with a ganasa mantra - om jam ganapadhaye nama will do) Then take up the desired mantra and chant it silently in the space of your heart ( Not the physical Heart- not in your lefrt side but in the very centre of your chest where the physical heart is situated- but at the centre of your chest) These is where god of the mantra resides. Chant it for 18times or 108 times or 10008 times seated in the presence of Dakshinamurty. (The number really doesnot matter . Your firm resolve that you are adopting this mantra is all that matter. Hence a minimum of 18 will do. ) From then on do regular sadana being seated in privacy . Your own house will do provided you have a private room. If you donot have privacy search for an open door place where you can have privacy. If you cannot manage it a temple will do. in that place where you have choosen for your sadana be seated in any comfortable posture Padsmasana, siddasana, swastigasana, sugasana - any will do. See which posture is comfortable for you to sit for long period with out strain. that is the right posture. Then chant the mantra mentally for long long time. 108 is the minimum at a sitting. this is a general rule. For gandarvarajamantra which i sharred with you you need to chant it around 320 times not less than this. The more you chant the better. Your mind should completely get absorbed in the mantra. This will happen in due course when you are regular and rigorous. Every day without fail on particular time you should chant the mantra silently . The best times for practice are sandhyas : Morning (sunrise), midnoon, evening sunset, Midnight. You can also chant during Bhrama muhurta the close hours before sunrise. Face north or east. Adopt minimum rictuals and donot bother about too much rictualism - which mala, which directon which colour dress and flowers exactly howmany times exactly which place - ignore such rigidity - it woill only make you either confused or the the sadana tedious. ( Though some tantrics are very perticular of such bminute details) . the most impotant factor of success is r absorbtion of mind of the mind on the mantra in one pointed focuse. Dharana it is called in yoga. The mantra should occupy your consciousness exclusively to the exclution of everything. But initially if your mind wanders donot fight your mind- you will get tird. Bring back the mind to the mantra awareness repetedly again and again patiently and gently. Do not get frusstrated. The mind will get absorbed in due course. Keep you mantra a secret. Do not reveal to anyone till you obtain siddhi. And Do not change the mantra every now and then. (You should get married to the mantra and live with it). This is the way to do mantra sadana. if you persist on this signs will start apprearing. miraculas things will start manifesting. Your desires start getting fulfilled. Ultimatly you will have the vision of the devata of the mantra. and you will merge with that devada- you will become that devada . This is called Sayujya -the highest achievement of worship. By the by, A small piece of advice from my side . Dont waste your time and energy on for small objectives. What you desire today desperately will become nothing of impportance to you in due course. Your mind will change. For example you might desperately crave for a handsome appearance and beautiful wife. But when you really get them you will get bored of the same things very soon. This is a fact of life even if you dont see the wisedom in it right now. Mantra sastra is a great science. If you are determined to practice it use it for the highest thing that is possible. Donot go for small small things that will lose ther value tomarrow. I have given every information that is needed for starting your practice. And I share this by my personal experience, (Though I have not taken up the mantra that you have asked for). I do not know any short cut tantra without mantra siddhi. Some tantrics do claim wearing cetrain obljects like rudraksha , tolisman, lucky stones and the like will help. i personally never belived in them and didnot expreriment with them. Hence I dont know any such tantra with out mantra siddhi - if you are asking for such things. (If at all they work they work by the power of mind- there is no power in the objects themself. If you are lucky to find a powerful siddha with power, he/she might infuse that personal power in any object and give you. That might work. But if you just acquire the objects without such infusion of siddha's power it will not do anything for you) . Goodluck. K.Ravindran

(You can order tantra raja tantra on line if you have some way of paying thrugh credit card. ) You can also search for Nitya kala devis . or simply Nitya .Neela padaka is one of the 16 nidya of goddess tripura sundary. She is the goddess of the 11th digit - ekadasi dhidhi. (She must be worshiped on that day). Some internet gives her details including her mantra and yantra. For example try this one: http://www.religiousworlds.com/mandalam/nitya.htm Once you have her yantra and description(Dhayana) and mantra , you can do some sort of essential worship. The following is a copy past from the above cite for your advantage. Her mantra is: Aim Hrim Shrim Phrem Strum Krom Am Klim Aim Blum Nityamadadrave Hum Phrem Hrim Em Nilapataka Nitya Shri Padukam Pujayami Tarpayami Namah. Her Discription: The Tantraraja says that she is nila (sapphire) in hue with five faces and ten arms, wearing red clothes and beautiful gems. Her left hands show noose, banner, shield, horn bow, and the mudra granting gifts. Her right hands show goad, dart, sword, arrows and the mudra banishing fear. She sits on a lotus surrounded by hordes of Shaktis like her. She rules the Yakshinis and the 64 Chetakas and has an uncanny collection of siddhis or magical powers to grant to her sadhaka or sadhika including a sword unbeatable in battle (Khadga siddhi), Treasure, the power to see through walls (Anjana), the ability to travel miles in an instant (Paduka Siddhi) and lots, lots more. Get the yantra from this cite or any other sourse and worship the goddess in it duly by doing pranapradista avahana and the like tantric procedures. If you can , Get initiated to Srividya duly and start this worship, as she is a nitya of Godess Tripura sundary of srividya. Having worshiped duly and doing japa for large number of times (one lackh is traditional number . atleast ten thousand must be completed) then attempt the kamarupa siddhi mantra and continue with it till you get siddhi. (Kamaruopa siddhi mantra is neelapadaka's montra only and hence once you switch over to this mantra the first mantra need not be repeted) .   19. Dear Sivaomzn, Depends on what you are seeking. There are different kinds of vidysa and each has specific guru. You want to become a sanyasi then you have to go to a sanyasa guru if you need to get initiated too veda you need to get initiated to gayatri. If you need your kundalini raised you need a yogic or tantric guru. If you want power of seeing future knowing the secrets of people you need yakshni mantra to be initiated. Each power has a different vidya associated with it and different gurus having siddhi on the vidya are needed. Pwerhaps if you could be more explicit and sp[ecific on what you want out of the guru deksha the forum members could guide you. Hello Sivamohan, The basic seed mantra for saraswati or any knowledge for that matter is 'Aim' - To be prouncedas as in in 'I' in the english sentence 'I am' - the twelth voval in sancrit alphabet along with 'm' sound . ( not as in 'Aim the gun') Keep meditating silently on this sound mentally along with mentally thinking of the goddess in the form of a brilliance of pure white light of thousand moons. Vamakeswara tantra declares that this meditation will make the meditator bloom in to a genoious. The sadaka upon siddhi will compose class litrature, poerty speak elogently lall kinds of subjects - veda, vedanga, sastras, sciences, in fact such a sadaka up on siddhi of this mantra will be omnicient. Dear Delete , Booda damara tantra -the sourse that i ahave quoted does not have gayatries for the deities. there are other forms of snake deities like sesha the Vishnus bed, Nagaraja ,Siva's necklace, Akshobia the Tara's hair clip, and other forms of nagas associated with raghu and kethu ect. They all have different mantras and will have associated gayatries. I dont know them. For other mantras and worship methods you may look at a posting on Naga Panjami - rictuals mantras and strotras by Srinath Ram Atrea in the forum Shakti sadana. Regards, K.Ravindran
  22. There seems to be two camps developing in kundalini awakening. One camp argues guru an absolute must for kundalini awakening. another camp hold guru is not nessary. Let me pose a puzzle to 'Guru - a - must' camp: How did the first human manage to awaken kundalini if everyone must have a guru? who was the guru for the first guru? I dont accept the answer that first guru was god form this camp. Because , in that case this camp has already contradicted its position. If the first guru is god, then that means that god has been and can be a guru. And if god has been a guru once He/She can be a guru to a human now also (Why will god deny to one who earnestly call up on his guidance now?) - which implies one strictly doesnot require a living human guru with flessh and blood . Hence God was the first guru is a defeting argument for the 'Guru - a -must' camp. It is not that I dont belive god as a guru I personally believe that one neednot have a living human guru in the case of kundalini awakening . I mean there are other authentic methods, Like bakti, yogakriyas, and medicine. Patanjaliyoga sutra states these as posible means of kundalini awakening, and guru deksha is only one of the many ways of kundalini awakening ,appartfrom even accidental awakening in some cases. However to understand the phenoiminon and having a disciplinary approach an experienced guru is of great healp. My own personal position is that guru - True Guru - is internal and to be found nowhere else but in one's own head ( above the agna center situated a centre called Guru Mandala) . External guru is just a projection - Viksheba - of this internal guru(s). (This is true of god too - "God is not to be found in temples constructed by people but with in own's own heart" - esoteric islam) Those who found this internal guru external guru is not needed. Until and unless the internal guru is awakened the external guru is not effective in spiritual deciplines. By guru, I am taking to mean a spiritual teacher. Not one who gives you information or skill on some material things. You can learn a mathemedical formula, or a recipy of cooking or a medical concoction or pottery , carpentry, etc. from an external teacher but you cannot learn Who You Are - the spiritual knowledge - from an external source - you yourself should realise it as it is about you and with in you. Only an internal teacher can teach this truely. "Search your guru and god within you and you will find them". K.Ravindran

When Kundalini awaken several symptoms appear not nessarily all for the same person: Persperation, Body heat, Vigorous involuntary shakking of body parts. spontanious hopping of body like frog when seated in meditation (which is ultimately develloped in to levitation siddhi). emmition of various sounds from the vocal cord like animals and other strange sounds Pains and heat at the chakras invilved. sensation of something moving like ants, frog hopping Snake crowling, along the spinal cord, Performing spontaniously various mudras and bandas of yoga even without ever learned them . These are initial symptoms . Of course as the kundalini moves up the centres and as the centres are developed various yoga siddhis manifests corresponding to different centres. Physical strength, freedom from disease, ability to compose poetry without learning , great knowledge in some subject , understanding spiritual scripotures which didnot make sense before (upanisads for example), clearvoiance, healing powers, ability to enter in to other body. and so on and so forth. Great siddhis like anima, mahima garima lahima , isitva , vasitva , pragamya , and prapti - in fact all miraculus powers (siddhis) are due to kundalini rising. Not nessarily all symptoms are positive. Sometime negative symptoms appear like physical and mental illhealth : cancer, neurosis and madness are some of the cevere symptoms. Siddha medical texts has a separate section on these spiritual maladies due to kundalini awakening and the medicine to cure them. K.Ravindran

But it seems I am not entitled to use the private message posting as my total number of posting is bellow the requoirement. Hence I am using this public forum to answer you. To change your phicical form you need kamarupasidhi.I am going to be brief as the entire procedure I cannot describe in a posting like this. But I will give you complete sourse where you can find it in detail. Obtain a copy of Tantra Raja Tantra. It is published by Arthor Avalon. You need somebody who knows sanscrit to read it as the chapters are in sanscrit. Only introoduction is in english. There is a chapter on a goddess called Nilapadhaka Do sadhana of this goddess as per the procedure. There is a mantra of this goddess. You need to attain siddhi of this first. This Siddhi will make you very powerful and all the gods yakssha, gandarvas, pisasas, and a varieties of hosts will fear and respect you and worship you. No spirit dare to possess you. They will obey your commands. ( This is the answer to Your second Quiry) Then, (After attaining siddhi of Nilapadhaka, Chant Kamarupasiddhi mantra. This mantra is: Madha kaama ruupam me dhehi dhrave nitya. By repeated chanting when you attain sidhi of this mantra you can take any form at your will. (This is for your first quiry) I have not described here the elaborate worship methosd of Nilapadaka as it is long and technical with mantra yantra and rictuals. I cannot write all that detail in this short forum. But the details are there in the Tantra Raja Tandra. Expecially when you really want to take up a tantric sadana, you need to know it accurately and authentically. By the by I am not a siddha guru for this vidya - I have not practiced it . My information is mearly an intellectual one out of my reading.
