I think it is part of decription of Lord Vishnu's Vishnuroopa (read Bhakti Yoga part in Bhavagad Gita). Part of that descriptions says that He revealed His true form with the Universe in Him, together with all the Gods, souls etc.

There may be lots of theists in your own company "who takes the sacrifices of the Gods and do not return anything in return." I don't remember any such people in my company. Musilms, Christians & Vaishnavism are all branded religions. Vaishnavas have no major conversion process. All the branded religions including vaishnavism "proclaims without shame that their gods is great and others are devils' work" Then I reject them ALL - Muslims, Christians AND Vaishnavas. In Vedas or in Gita it never said their ways is the ONLY way and God never closed His door to anyone like what they claim. Such people are ATHEIST in my eyes.

a soul is equated with life. everything that has life has a soul. that is what gives it it's life. Nope, I don't accept such. Not everything has a soul in them. Only a certain species. Which species are those? Species which inhabit clear presence of a Mind. In Bhavagad Gita, it is stated that the Mind is a product of the brain and its sensors as it interacts with the environment around it. But all species have such interacts, so what makes the ones with Souls special? The ones with the Souls will develop what known as Duality. A Soul is "something" which comes from God, therefore, it is intuned to God. However, due to interaction of the Brain and its sensors, it develop a Duality - spliting itself from God and become an individual being with "I", "Me", "Mine", "Myself" etc attitude. There is a reason for God allowing this to happen. This is not beyond God's Understanding either. The reason is, in order for Evolution to occur and Man (and other high level lifeforms) to come to being as today, lifeforms MUST develop individuality and take suffering and misery. secondly, about god being born in india has a simple asnwer. it comes to the saying that god is the same being in all religions, only called by different names. the reason different religions exist is not because we indians are special and right and the rest are wrong. I do not say the rest (who are not Indians) are wrong. But accepting ALL are correct is stupidity beyond reason. Not all religions comes from God. It is proven today among studies of Cults that some people can potray themselves as God/Messangers of God and convert people to their folks. Are you going to say this too are from God? Those who come from God are ones who follow the Yogas (Bhakti, Jnana, Dharma, Karma) no matter what form it comes as (like the Knights of Christiandom and Samurais of Japan). You can find similarities even so the society is not similar to each other. We must understand that Buddha, Jesus, Moses, Mohammed, and all 6.5 billion people on this planet are avatars of vishnu for we are the ones preserving human existance as the instruments of god's will. What kind of nonsense do you follow? Such statement equals saying ALL life on this world HAD receive Mukti/Enlightenment already from Lord Vishnu. To me, different religions and their practioners are like flowers in a large field. If flowers are different in color, they are beautiful to look at, compared to every flowers that same in color. And besides, it is AGAINST God's Will to have a Global Religion (at least till Satya Yuga comes). Different people have different attitudes and therefore, in the Gita, it is already stated different Yogas (Jnana, Bhakti, Karma and Dharma) according to each person's attitude.

Why does God always born in India? How come he never born in any other country? Even that his last avatar Kalki is going to be in India. Why is it? Because Indians are special a bit. If you see so many races in this world, each will have their own advantage and disadvantages. Chinese good in Math (advantage) but they also lazy (disadvantage). Japanese are hard-working (advantage) but they hold too much pride (disadvantage), Muslims are God-fearing (advantage) but they are as stupid as the camel and cows they eat (disadvantage) etc. Europeans? They are willing to learn (advantage) but they have to disadvantage - they are too materialistics and because of coming from society which believes in a single life and then damn or saved forever, they do not willingly give up some of the bad habits such as illicit sex, alcholol and such. Indians also have their advantage - they easy to love but their disadvantage is, they do not know how to fight back (too pascify for their own good). So, if God is bound by Love of His devotees, who do you think He will choose? We cannot say that he chose us as a special race and we only a hindu have the rights to join god. That would make us low as Jews. Explain to me what do you mean by "as low as Jews?" Yeah, you can say I'm a Jew due to my name. Because we believe that even animals have souls, do we believe that goat clone has a soul? It cannot be, I think. Because if it has a soul, does that prove that god doesn't exist? If it doesn't have a soul, doesn't that mean that we don't have a soul as well? If human (physical) bodies are created inside mother's womb, does this means human mothers give their children their souls? Answer ... NO. Soul is unchanging, permanent and continues from one cycle to another. Entering and leaving a body at birth and death has nothing to do with Soul or its journey. If a body is clone, as long as the body is empty and the soul can enter to inhabit it, it will do so. Which is why I'm against Cloning. While scientists can clone physical aspect of a person, he cannot clone a soul and having a soul preoccupy a body which has pervious lifetime's memory will bring confusion to the Soul itself.

If I were in your place, I could love being in Japan. Just enjoy yourself there, practise yoga to keep your body healthy and Meditation to keep your mind in control. Sigh ... why is it that chance to travel to Japan is given to those who do not appreciate it?

Have you ever thought that the so-called misery is just in your mind? The World is a cruel world, full of miseries and sufferig but all this miseries and suffering is because your attachment to the World. By that context, isn't it easy to say that you are miserable because you are too attached to God to see the beauty of the World? Take a person who commits suicide for example. He is frustrated and tired, and only way to go around it is by eliminating himself. Same way, you want to go back to God in a hurry but you are not qualified as yet (for some unknown reason). So you feel deattached to the World and whenever you look at it, you feel tired and frustrated, feeling you do not belong here. You can never go back to God till you learn to live a proper life in this World. If you ignore the World, it will be like tying a rock to your feet and jump off a climb, expecting yourself to soar, only to fall.

Clasisfication of Atheism or theism is not mentioned in the vedic way. In Bhavagad Gita, it is stated that "a disbeliever is someone who takes the sacrifices of the Gods and do not return anything in return." And to me, that is a classification of an Atheists. He take food and water from the Earth but to him, such things is nothing, because he do not believe in Gods who give it. He do not say thanks (in ANY form), and do not give anything in return. To him, the world is just a floating ball of dusk, rolling around the sun because of Gravity. Please look at the terrorist who kill the innocent, and are willing to kill themselves in the name of god HARD-core-theism. Or the countries run by fundamentalist & reelected governments. I might agree that atheists may be no better either. That's why there is nothing to make out from actions be it a theist or an atheist. Excuse me ... WHO said terrorists are theists? According to your so-called Vedic ways, is Muslims and Christians people who believe in (Vedic) Gods? They have NO respect for Vedic Gods, Vedas and their teachings, proclaims without shame that their gods is great and others are devils' work (which even Jews do not claim now), eat cow's meat, commit adultery, drink alcholol, continues to commit sins by saying all this is forgiven by some god if they just bang their heads 5 times a day. And in your opinion, they are still theists? Nonsense. I want to follow the vedic way which is clear to me. Vedic way also says that 'choice' or 'choice to believe' is all illusion. 'Choice' is yet another word used by branded religions quite often. "Belief' is the word used by branded religion, 'realization' or 'experience' is equivalent word used in the vedic way. Such notions is notion of atheists, not someone who believes in Vedic ways. I don't believe you know anything about Vedic ways ... ain't you the one who claims you can become God last time?

Anyway, this is a good example how people nowadays must be careful of what you buy and eat. A lot of things comes in form of mix ingredience. Better bring food from home. But, me being an Asura, I eat meat (Sea food, chicken and eggs, reducing chicken meat slowly now) so no problem. Also, I wish Indians could open more, cheaper Vegetarian restaurants, especially overseas. Vegetarian foods are clean, health and Westerners as well as Easterns will love them ... hmm, an Asuran promoting Vegetarianism ... this is Kaliyuga indeed.

I think the author has mixed ideas. I heard somewhere that the idea of Middle Earth comes from Chinese Beliefs (Taoism) where the World is split into three :- Upper World (where Gods lived - symbolized by Elves). Middle World (Where Man, Draves and such lived) Lower World (Where demons and Satan lived - symbolized by Dark Elf who were originally Elves but fallen to the temptation of the Darkness, and also other creatures). Also, if you watch "Kingdom of Heaven" (came out this year also), you will notice the similarities between Jerusalem and the White City at the end of the trilogy (Return of the King). I believe J.R. Tolkien were using Beliefs in Chinese Metaphysical worlds as basics for potraying the Crusaders in attempt to recapture Jerusalem.

Zen is a variation of Buddhism, which exists in Japan. When Buddhism arrived at Japan around 1100 AD, Shintosm is active there. Mixing both up, Zen Buddhism come to play while Shinto become official religion for Japan for a few centuries. Basically, Zen Buddhism is something like what Kyastrias of Hindusm could follow - deattach oneself from the World, serve the master without questioning, and strive to life and die by honor. I believe Hindu Kyastrias have a saying that "A Kyastria must strive to die in battle or in service to the Lord". Same thing here, except the Lord is also the Shogun (Emperors) who Shinto believes are descendant of Gods.

I personally saw several Mosques built (quite deliberately) near Hindu Temples. I also been to two churchs which was built facing a Hindu temple and next to a Buddhist temple in PJ. YET, both Hindu temple and Buddhist shrines always have MORE people in them during prayers times than a Mosque or a Church. WHY? Cause their intergrity is never lost, only people who follow them lost it.

I agree with Death Penalty because people given responsibilities but abuse them for personal gains. Such people are the WORST terrorists a country could have. Also, Sudras (those who are material minded) CANNOT become a proper politicians and leaders. The responsibility of educating youngsters MUST given to Brahmins who MUST educate them with beliefs in God. Those who have Kyastria spirit musst be given role to play in politics. Right now, the world is in such a deep . because all kind of people playing politicians and corrupting it.

Inspite of being a hardcore veggy, I have eaten Mcdonald's fries many times unknowingly. Am I going to accumulate negative karmas? I think sins done without knowing it is forgivable. BTW, have you try reading ingredience in chocolate bars and some candy in shops? You will find some of them have some "amazing" ingredience inside. I remember once, I was working late with two of my colleques, both are Hindus. One is a guy and another was a skinny girl. Anyway, I brought this sweet called "SUGUS" (you have heard of it) and was eating it one by one when the Hindu guy told us something surprising. "Did you know that SUGUS has beef gelatine in them?" he said. I was like "huh?" and read the ingredience. And it stated right there that there was beef gelatine inside SUGUS. So what to do? I swallow the whole pack of the SUGUS I had (didn't want to waste it but it turn the skinny Hindus girl pale) and promised myself I'm going to read the ingredience before buying any snacks.

Such statements as above, stating this is not Kaliyuga is self-denial and out of fear. No time in History of Man (for the past 1.3 Million years), have we ever lived in fear and in state of corruption of the mind and spirit as we do today. We live in fear of one idiot throwing nukes at the other, thus starting a Nuclear War. We live in fear that economy will be so bad, that we will be begging in our own countries. Society is state of corruption as Sudras (unfit to be in ruling class) given duties and responsibilities such as Policemen, Soldiers and such, thus bring forth corruption. Anyone voice out this matter will be called rascist and caste status lover. And, the ultimate proof that this is Kaliyuga (at least to me) is evidence of people (some who used to be Hindus themselves) willing to modify the Vedas to confuse Hindus. Ex-Hindus who knows that there is no graver sin than that of modifying the Vedas do so because of influence of some unknown religion and their promise of Heaven with 72 prostitute as payment.

The similarity of the teachings is so close in the choice of words that it's hard to believe it could be a coincidence that Jesusu spoke Buddha's words without even knowing about them. Mind showing me where there is any similarities between Buddha's words and Jesus's (assuming he existed)? I must warn you, I'm a scholar in Buddhism. Also Jesus' story as a baby has many similarities with the story of Krishna when he was born. Though the Christians hate to admit it alot of early Christianity was heavily influenced by Indian spirituality. Jesus born in a barn (assuming he existed) and Sri Krishna born in a jail. Jesus weren't chased after to be killed by anyone, Sri Krishna had to be taken to His foster parents for safe keeping. After that, no much is known about Jesus except he made a riot in the market. Sri Krishna's childhood were clearly written down.

IF Hindusm is to be perserved and brought to the world as Satyam, it is should be done by people who appreciate it and work to bring it forward. Not by people who think Satyam will rise by itself.

After-all atheism or theism is all about window-dressing, and there is little to make out of it for good noble collective actions in the interest of the world. Wrong ... Atheism is pure foolishness and ignorance. Nothing useful will ever come out from an atheists. You want to believe your notions that religious beliefs is not important as long as people have your so-called "noble collective actions", whatever that means, than those are your choice to believe.

Hell such as that is against Laws of Karma and Compassion of God. I guess such belief is influenced by Christianity.

The similarities are very superficial and there really is no need to draw a comparison. Maybe some people think Hinduism will appear more scientific if we draw parallels to modern scientific theories, but it is really unnecessary, especially when they are not closely related. I come from a Muslim Forum and there, I have notice that both Muslims and Christians draw as much comparison to their beliefs from Scientific background, by showing that their beliefs are actually advanced and for all ages. Yet, I see here is the opposite going on. Hindus do their best to separate Science from Hindusm, even so it is proven in history that people who are in the past combined both and made amazing discoveries.
