  1. One more thing..................... Those who think it funny that the letter written by tamal on july 9th 77 did not include words like dikhsa guru or whatever are actually the people who prove my point. Just see you and IRM think that this letter is bonafide, you accept it as truth, that Prabhupada really signed it as authorized. So it was perfect the way it was, if you "judge a thing by it's result". If the letter said that PRabhupada had named these guys as the successor gurus, who would have accepted? That is the most silly arguement i have ever heard! And your believing that the letter written by tamal is authorized, just proves my point, if you follow PRabhupada's instructions, and........ "JUDGE A THING BY IT'S RESULT" Who would have accepted that Prabhupada authorized Successor Gurus? Who would have? IT HAD to read like it did, and that was the biggest change in Iskcon to that date. WE LOVE TAMAL AND KIRTANANANDA!
  2. I have heard this over and over, i have also heard the IRM say that these 11 guys were in good standing then. IRM supports these criminals. Prabhupada says to us, and we listen..................... "JUDGE A THING BY IT'S RESULT" do that with the letter forged by tamal, and think about it, what was the result? Was there any other person who was a zoned out acharya? NO! Also listen to the conversations of the day before! Prabhupada said TWICE! NO, NO the local man can do. Do you think he did not know what would come of making a faction of names on a list? THAT IS THE SECOND REASON THAT WE REJECT THIS LETTER AS A FORGERY! FIRST REASON TO REJECT THAT LETTER........"JUDGE A THING BY IT'S RESULT" SECOND IS BECAUSE PRABHUPADA SAID "NO, THE SENIOR MAN CAN DO"........................."NO THE SENIOR MAN CAN DO" I was there when this happened, my TP was in the quarters when this happened. Prabhupada did not want this faction made, he wanted things to remain as they were. With LOCAL SENIOR MAN DOING the reccomendations to who would be Prabhupada's disciple. That same local man was doing the fire sacrifice too! But after this letter was accepted, those guys who tamal named as ritvik, became successors, not because they were told to, but because they were the only ones on a list. A HIT LIST! If nothing was changed, and if more people realized that the hit list was just that, we would not have had the zoned out acharyas, or ritviks or living guurs, or iskcon rehash movements, or criminals and homosexual child molesters as guru. We would have had Prabhuapda in the center giving initiations to those that the local, mean senior man was recommending to be his disciples. NO MIDDLE MAN NEEDED NOT EVEN ONE OR 11 CALLED RITVIK ritvik=hahahahahahahahahhaha you are duped! By the author of Rittvik, tamal! hahahahahaha fools.
  3. Fool!!!! This letter is not Prabhupada's! It is Tamal's, and judge a thing by it's result, who became Zoned Out Acharyas? EVERYONE OF THOSE WHO ARE ON THIS HIT LIST! written by Tamal! Read the conversations, the day before this letter, TWICE!!! Prabhupada said NO! to the idea of changing the way things were, with the "local senior man doing" to this faction that you seem to support! Just see the signature of Srila Prabhupada! It is a forgery! Off on the side, under "authorized"! Tamal had access to that signature, and had everything to gain by presenting a false letter of forgery listing 11 bad men to be the perfect faction. And just see what it got him, and the others on the list! If things had stayed the same, with the local man doing this "ritvik" thing (i do HATE the word "ritvik" too, cuz that is also tamals' crap) but if the local man doing as Prabhupada said when asked for names, by tamal, we would not be in the mess we are in! The letter below, jatayus "position paper" is listing Queertanananda's name as first.......... to a rascal who wants power, and prestige, he seees this letter as 'bonafide' hahahahahahahahhaahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahaha ahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahaha:) Fool!~
  4. Seeing this pic helps me to understand why the dealings that i have had with the IRM were so bad, these guys are clearly just thugs! [url="http://www.gaudiya-repercussions.com/index.php?showtopic=157&view=findpost&p=26565"]
  5. One of my most hated things in this world is/was the IRM, they made a mockery of being a Prabhupadanuga. They claimed to have all the answers, while cheating and lying and stealing from others. They are negatively attached to Iskcon's Faults. And they Plagarized from Sulochana Prabhu. More than Iskcon themselves they always wanted to bring back leaders who showed themselves to be bogus, starting with Kirtananada's name. While claiming that a letter written by the poisonous tamal tree, was bonafide. They over look and stomp down just like the 11 zoned out acharyas did, what Prabhupada said was the "Cure" for himself, and his movement. I know this is a long article, but i want to put it here if it is ok.................. Architects of the IRM Rtvik Movement, (left to right) Yadubar dasa, Kamsahanta dasa, and Krishnakant, on their first North American preaching tour, c. 1996 <!--QuoteEEnd--><!--IBF.ATTACHMENT_36995-->(jatayu, if you read this, jump off the titanic now, and join us on the Jaladhuta!)
  6. http://protectacow.typepad.com/photos/krsna_consciousness_movem/index.html click on individual images for a short description of the chosen image. hours spent in this offering, our past blood sweat and tears (literally) in helping Srila Prabhupada create such a wonderful history KRSNA BOOK CHAPTER 24 ...My dear father, there is no need to worship the demigod Indra," Lord Krsna said. "Everyone has to achieve the result of his own work. We can actually see that one becomes busy according to the natural tendency of his work; and according to that natural tendency, all living entities--either human beings or demigods--achieve their respective results. All living entities achieve higher or lower bodies and create enemies, friends or neutral parties only because of their different kinds of work. One should be careful to discharge duties according to his natural instinct and not divert attention to the worship of various demigods. The demigods will be satisfied by proper execution of all duties, so there is no need to worship them. Let us, rather, perform our prescribed duties very nicely. Actually one cannot be happy without executing his proper prescribed duty. One who does not, therefore, properly discharge his prescribed duties, is compared with an unchaste woman. The proper prescribed duty of the brähmanas is the study of the Vedas; the proper duty of the royal order, the ksatriyas, is engagement in protecting the citizens; the proper duty of the vaisya community is agriculture, trade and protection of the cows; and the proper duty of the südras is service to the higher classes, namely the brähmanas, ksatriyas, and vaisyas. We belong to the vaisya community, and our proper duty is to farm, or to trade with the agricultural produce, to protect cows, or take to banking."
  7. "When a person realizes himself to be an eternal servitor of Krsna, he loses interest in everything but Krsna's service. Always thinking of Krsna, devising means by which to spread the holy name of Krsna, he understands that his only business is in spreading the Krsna consciousness movement all over the world. Such a person is to be recognized as an uttama-adhikari, and his association should be immediately accepted according to the six processes (dadati pratigrhnati, etc.) Indeed, the advanced uttama-adhikari Vaisnava devotee should be accepted as a spiritual master. Everything one possesses should be offered to him, for it is enjoined that one should deliver whatever he has to the spiritual master. The brahmacari in particular is supposed to beg alms from others and offer them to the spiritual master. However, one should not imitate the behavior of an advanced devotee or maha-bhagavata without being self-realized, for by such imitation one will eventually become degraded. In this verse Srila Rupa Gosvami advises the devotee to be intelligent enough to distinguish between the kanistha-adhikari, madhyama-adhikari and uttama-adhikari. The devotee should also know his own position and should not try to imitate a devotee situated on a higher platform. Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura has given some practical hints to the effect that an uttama-adhikari Vaisnava can be recognized by his ability to convert many fallen souls to Vaisnavism. One should not become a spiritual master unless he has attained the platform of uttama-adhikari. A neophyte Vaisnava or a Vaisnava situated on the intermediate platform can also accept disciples, but such disciples must be on the same platform, and it should be understood that they cannot advance very well toward the ultimate goal of life under his insufficient guidance. Therefore a disciple should be careful to accept an uttama-adhikari as a spiritual master."
  8. My wife has shown herself to be a great devotee of Vrnda Devi, and we visited Vrnda Kunda 3 times in 12 days recently! I was remembering the Verse above with the "Bhakta VRNDA" part in it, that we chant so often daily. Exactly what is the meaning of the Vrnda part in this Verse? Anyone can help? In the service of Vrnda, and Srila Prabhupada we trust, Bhakta Chris
  9. Agreed, although it is our understanding that a "whole community" means ultimately, a nuclear family not neccesarily a goshalla for a "village".
  10. I feel a little silly writing this here, since i have only second hand knowledge of this stuff. But my new devotee wife has irregular periods, and we want to have Krsna consious children, how to get her back to regularity? What is causing this? Does anyone know, why she would go months without any period? Help!
  11. Yes i did notice this thread. I am very much "into" the CowProtection Program given to us by Lord Sri GOvinda, and advocated by Srila Prabhupada. I do not have much faith in Iskcon Cow Protection, since it has never been much of a focus, or get much support. I can only go into details by PM since i was hurt along with friends of mine, when our Leaders replaced many good CowHerds with people with no qualifications and we were only asked to come back to the program to bail them out over and over. So i have a lot of anger regarding this. Recently we were featured in a TV news story, that reached 30million people in India. Cow Protection in America. In that story our farm and our satelite farms were shown doing what we do best, protecting cows to the highest standards. When the reporter went to the local Iskcon farm, the first thing he found was an unattended dead cow, no devotees dealing with this dead cow, and the reporter had to go and inform the "devotees" of this, they did not know. So that farm did not go into the story, accept as an example of bad cowprotection. You will find this same thing all over the world, even at the "cow protection ministers" farm, atleast that is my experience. PM me and i can give you many details on that. The reason seems to be intolerance of what is a good Cowherdboy! We sometimes are not of the Highest standards of Brahmana. We have deep love and devotion for Lord GOvinda, and are followers of Srila Prabhupada. Our service and bhakti has always been our expert work keeping the Lord's Surabhi representatives. But that has always been unappreciated by the "rank and file" devotee, especially the leaders. But not by our Founder/Acharya, who said to us, that if we did not chant our rounds sometimes, that it was ok, since we were doing such important work. Our Founder/Acharya always knows that we are sincere, and appreciates our service, doing his work. Your first post in this thread is overlooking our huge amount of instructions given to us by our Founder/Acharya, as well as Lord Sri GOvinda. Cow Protection work is the focus of both of these Personalities. The Founder/Acharya spoke of Protecting Cows the first week of being in the USA in 1965, and spoke of the same Nov. 1977. And in between these dates, Cow Protection has always been advocated, in Books, Conversations, and Actions. Yours in the service of the Supreme Cowherd boys, Govinda and Prabhupada..................... Bhakta Chris ACBS
  12. A good cow protection program means that they are protecting you the same. You live simply, close to the land, you are home, the bulls and cows are always fully engaged just by their pooping! And making the ground fertile. You are protecting Krsna's representative, they protect you because you must always be there for them, not in some hellish situation. I also know Kalikudra, since i am the one who first taught him how to protect cows, more than a quarter certury ago, when he came to our farm. It was not his life's work untill after this time spent with me. If you want to see a cowprotection program that is successful, without cows dying from being caught up in fences while the "minister of cow protection" is off in india collecting his rupees from the GBC, then look no further than here............. I am a supporter of........ http://protectacow.typepad.com/ not the founder
  13. Many of us can relate to you Pancaja Prabhu, you have done good to open up. I too am headed to Braj dhama. With the chanting, i have taken a vow to atleast keep chanting a certain number of rounds. It might not be the 16 that i did for decades, but it is some, and i don't miss those now. If you feel that it is "all or nothing" and you are not ready, then you will lose. Try just some, i suggest 4! You have been an inspiration to me over the years now, thank you. Your heart is where it should be, who cares if the rest of you is not inline? Thank you thankyou for your association

  18. Oh! I am so happy to reconnect with you Govindaram now Pankaja Dasa! I know that i thanked you in the past for linking to the download places for the complete works of Prabhupada. If you do not think so, i again thank you very very much! I followed the link you gave me, but found it only as MP3 download place (i think) and now i want to clarify what i am looking for. I had on my computer before a program that i could go to that was a "folio" and made it easy to Copy and Paste anything from the Complete works. I work on website as it's webservant, and need to be able to Copy and Paste works from Prabhupada. That is what i am after and needing! I will follow your signature now too, to see if that might have the Folio program that i need, thank you Prabhu! Sincerely yours in the service of Prabhupada, Bhakta Chris

  20. Hare Krsna, Once i found on the Prabhupada part of this website a thread with a link to a website that gave for free the "Complete Works of Srila Prabhupada" I did download it, and had it in my computer for quick reference, but my computer crashed so bad, i had to have everything taken off of it, and i lost the Folio Download. 21. Hare Krsna! I have been blessed with the opportunity to return to Vrndavan Dhama this October coming. I have not been since 25 years now, and then i was young and under the supervision of my father. He is old now, and has not been back since our time together. And from what i have heard Vrndavan and the rest of India has changed a lot. I am asking for advice. How to carry money there? Do debit cards work? Should one use strickly the amex travelers checks? I know to avoid eating anything out of the Krsna Balarama temple, and only having bottled water, but is there more advice about eating/drinking? Is there a site for Vrndavan's Holy Places with downloadable maps? Help! Thank you very much in advance, yours, Bhakta Chris

  23. according to Srila Prabhupada's instructions as i see it, Cow Protection is a huge part of Gita Nagari. And now the Gita Nagari that Prabhupada visited, is selling their hay to an amish, who does not support cow protection, they have discountinued the real program of Gita Nagari. So actually Rasala's farm is now the real Gita Nagari. And the farm accross the street from his is just like any other farm, they kill the Kalpavrksa trees, they sell their hay to feed animals on the way to slaughter, they burn Prabhupada's books, they sold off all the Ox Power equipment, they house false gurus, how is that Gita Nagari?

  25. Festival presents Indian culture By Hallie Grossman Collegian Staff Writer Men and women wore vibrantly colored dhoti, classical Indian garb, while the sound of transcendental hymns and the smell of traditional Indian cuisine filled the air as the HUB lawn was temporarily transformed into ancient India yesterday afternoon. The Penn State Vedic Society, along with the Festival of India, presented Transcendence '04: A Celebration of Culture, to pay tribute to the richness of Indian culture and the teachings of the ancient Indian texts, the Vedas. "Vedic knowledge says that real happiness can be achieved through the transcendence of bodily designations," Aravind Mohanram, a member of the Vedic Society, said. "All the exhibits today are consistent with this idea." PHOTO: Megan Fingleton/Collegian Mitra Fooui, left, and others play music together on the HUB lawn. A few tents offered a historical overview of ancient Indian teachings, including information on Srila Prabhupada, founder of the Hare Krishna movement, which brought Vedic knowledge to "the world outside of India." Several multi-colored tents housed such topics as the "Science of Reincarnation" and the "Mystery of the Consciousness," which explored different perspectives on commonly accepted scientific explanations. The big-bang theory, for example, "is just another attempt ... to explain the universe in a mechanistic way," one sign read. Mike Bowser (senior-life science) said the festival was a good way to introduce students to a new viewpoint, but said he was surprised by some of the information available in the exhibits. "There is, at least in my opinion, some controversial information here," he said. "It's interesting, because so many people believe in these things like reincarnation, but science says something else." Other students said the festival was a much-needed cultural event. "As a whole, this community needs more non-material energy, and I could not be happier this is taking place today," John Snyder (senior-agroecology) said. "I loved the transcendental art tent; the photographs were just so great, they made me want to visit India." One popular stand was the vegetarian buffet provided by the festival. The buffet offered traditional Indian cuisine such as curry, boiled rice and Halwa, a sweet dish made from semolina, sugar, raisins and nuts. Padmaja Vittal, Vedic Society vice-president, said the festival was created to foster a better understanding of Indian culture. "This is a window to India for people of all different cultures," she said. "People can see the rich knowledge available in the Vedas, and that Vedic literature is rich in practical ways about going through life." Around 6 p.m., the festival moved indoors to HUB Heritage Hall, where the cultural program continued with different artistic performances, in front of about 50 people. Avatar Studios performed three numbers combining the culture styles of the East and West. The group described the music as "an unprecedented fusion of two great cultures." Joshua Greene, an Emmy-nominated producer for his work on Witness: Voices of the Holocaust, delivered a speech on the famous Beatle, George Harrison, and his contribution to introducing Indian culture to America. Greene said India continues to have cultural, spiritual and philosophical influence on the quality of life in America. He also said it was important for students to experience and recognize this contribution. "You don't get the full value of an institution such as Penn State if you only immerse yourself in the culture and ideas you already know," he said.
