Hare Krsna Prabhus, My initiation guru once on a morning walk pointed at the sky and said "that is the color of Krsna"(saying that Prabhupada would also do this) it was a dark sky with blue hue. Hare Krsna Prabhus, I have found that the local libraries are very interested in getting Srila Prabhupada Bhaktivedanta's Self Authorized books. I have made a vow to put on the shelf the Bhagavad-gita As It Is (as it is,self authorized version) in every Town and Village library within 50 miles of my Bhaktivedanta Ashrama. A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami of course IS still in this world as our Sampradaya Acarya in His books, lectures, songs, conversations and letters etc.etc. And Himself would correct devotees who said He would not be present in the future. He always showed Himself to be a Nitya Siddha Shaktivesa Avatara Sampradaya Acarya as He was. I am not saying that He is the only way to Krsna or that we can take initiation from Him or should even try, its impossible. I am saying He should be accepted by all Vaisnavas as this full title expresses NITYA SIDDHA SHAKTIVESA AVATARA SAMPRADAYA ACARYA He Himself had trouble keeping Himself in that Unique catagory, from His disciples and His Godbrothers. I can understand how this realization can help the body of Vaisnavas for i have heard from senior Grand Godbrothers. They are not from the ritvik camp or the diksa camp, they simply try to give Srila Prabhupada A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami the respect He deserves. The thing that does tick me off into the twister is that very few Leaders of Vaisnavas are willing still to teach this. /images/graemlins/mad.gif

Hare Krsna Prabhus, As i understand it,there is simultaneous one and difference between the Atma and the Paramatma. To think of these things and understanding them according to the Previous "Great" Acaryas is not material thinking. Also to think of the simultaneous difference between the Nitya Siddha Shaktivesa Avatara Sampradaya Acarya and the great Acaryas is thinking of Spiritual things. This type of thinking will bring unity to our forces and will certainly conquer over Maya I am only a lowly cowherd w/little knowledge of Vedanta, what is tattva vicara, rasa vicara, laksana? /images/graemlins/confused.gif But with Srila Prabhupada A.C.B.S. as my known Sampradaya Acarya i have no fear of twisters, just as He did not.

As the subject dear Prabhus, The type of Acarya i was talking about is the Nitya Siddha Shaktivesa Avatara Sampradaya Acarya. Even of this type there are many, but if we understand this particular type and look for the most recent one with all those qualities we find A.C.BHAKTIVEDANTA SWAMI. If all the splinter groups in this world came to the same conclusion of this fact then we could all unite. But since this is the age of quarrel. Then we cannot agree that Srila Prabhupada was the last great Nitya Siddha Shaktivesa Avatara Sampraday Acarya /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Hare Krsna Prabhus, In reply..... the Shaktivesa Avataras (specifically empowered by Krsna to fulfill His work) Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta and Srila Prabhupada Bhaktivedanta were the last in a line of Sampradaya Acaryas (those qualified to "adjust"not change Krsna's instructions according to time and place) Could not see anyone qualified to become successor Acaryas. Ofcourse there is always pure devotees and Gurus to take initiation from in Sampradayas. So we take shelter of the great devotees present at the time. Hare Krsna Prabhus, There are many similarities between the "Sampradaya" of Jesus the Christ today and the Brahma,Madhva,Guadiya,BHAKTIVEDANTA Sampradaya. After Lord Jesus's departure the Scriptures were changed or "revised and enlarged" also since 1977 the Scriptures presented by Srila Prabhupada Bhaktivedanta. The disciples of Lord Jesus did not keep Lord Jesus in the center, those disciples made disciples and said they were on the same level as the Sampradaya Acarya in Jesus. Similarly A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami's disciples did not instruct their disciples on the unique posistion of Srila Prabhupada and put themselves on the same platform.Srila Prabhupada A.C.Bhaktivedanta's Godbrothers also never accepted Him as the Shaktivesa Avatara he was like Lord Jesus.(specifically empowered to do God's work) So now we have so many factions and splinter groups many different Christian groups and many different Krsna's groups all claiming to be on the right path. Solution:learn about, preach and instruct how there is from time to time a NITYA SIDDHA SHAKTIVESA AVATARA SAMPRADAYA ACARYA

Hare Krsna Prabhus, As the subject line says gaudiya matha and Iskcon of Post Samadhi Era (no physical founder/acarya) are very similar in history. After the Maha Bhagavata Nitya Siddha Sampradaya Acarya left in the case of Srila Bhaktisidhanta Saraswati and in the case of Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami. Their movements (same) wanted some continuation of Acaryas. Neither could see anyone qualified and we can speculate that they wanted the devotees to be patient and wait for the next Shaktivesa Acarya, but that did not happen did it? However Srila Prabhupada A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami did show he was on the Paramahamsa platform and accepted the name Prabhupada (at whose feet all Prabhus sit) just as His master did. He is our most recent Sampradaya Acarya and if the various Gurus around the world accepted that then all of the Iskcons and Mathas would be the "House where the whole world could live"

Hare Krsna Prabhu, I am interested when there is talk of putting our forces together(all bhaktas) to help the world. However for me to go to someone other than Krsna's most recent Avatara, A.C.BHAKTIVEDANTA SWAMI would mean that i have already assimilated and digested all of His teachings and was ready to move on. So although my Best friend since childhood is part of Guadiya Math and gives me books from their Maharaj's, i have to always tell him that i will read it.I will read those books and associate intimately when i have fully realized our Sampradaya Acarya Shaktivesa Avatara Nitya Siddha A.C. Thankyou for your kind words. Yes the "guru" stuff is a problem for me and my past to understand is difficult. As a true good bhakta you have enlightened me in that. And yes i forget that Krsna has a plan and it is going on. I do not hate my old initiating "guru", infact as you pointed out he did help me. When i was young i needed someone to be like my father nearby, and he filled that spot. I certainly would have blooped long ago if not for him. And i was lucky to have a service and situation where my Love and Trust grew for the Topmost "Guru" for this age Srila Prabhupada Bhaktivedanta Swami. Hare Krsna,i am thinking of posting another Poll similar to the last but "enlarged and revised" and not participate myself accept my one vote. What do you think?

Religion without Philosophy is Sentimental,and Philosophy without Religion is Mental Speculation. /images/graemlins/confused.gif Only the Sanatana Dharma or Eternal Charactersitic of the Souls is the Perfect Philosophy/Religion, from Prabhupada we are awakened to that. Now we just have to give up all the other Religions(for me the "religion"to give up is sense gratification). Hare Krsna Prabhus, As followers of A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami,our Sampradaya Acarya , we are also followers of Jesus Christ. Perhaps the mainstream Christians are not really followers of Christ because they change the teachings, example... Christ made all the 10 commandments more strict,like adultery.He said that if you only look on another's wife you have committed adultery, more strict. But mainstream "Christians" now say that in the 10 commandments the one for "thou shall not kill" should be "watered down" or "He meant 'thou shall not murder' " There is NO conflict of instructions from our recent Guru and Lord Jesus the Christ. If we are perfect followers of Srila Prabhupada AC Bhaktivedanta Swami then we are perfect followers of Lord Jesus the Christ. So then we are "Christians". /images/graemlins/grin.gif I often say to my Christian relatives that i feel that i am a Christian too, for this reason. Though i am not really a Christian or Hare Krsna for i have no Love of God,or Bhakti.

Hare krsna, Today the new subsciption for Time Magazine came out.And in this issue is an article about Kirtana. The article is not about Hare Krsna Kirtana though although they may chant the Maha Mantra. Srila Prabhupada brought the Sankirtana(congregational chanting of God's name) movement to the west in"66". The article made me think that we need to work harder as followers of Prabhupada and Caitanya Mahaprabhu to spread this Kirtana which is very popular all over the world.

Hare Krsna Prabhu, Yes sometimes we do put our feet in our mouths(yuk) /images/graemlins/frown.gif,i was looking at a post i made recently and wow,i sure do it.I am not saying you did, i like having you here. This is raw istagosti, talk amongst devotees. Since many of us are not on the liberated platform and not full of knowledge, we are full of mistakes. But we are on the correct path. And once you have a little attachement to Krsna and HIs Pure devotee,then you can know someday, some lifetime (in my case) we will be at the stage of Bhakti. Certainly dont give up, you will just have to start up again. Keep chanting and try to chant with out offence, even if offencive pick yourself up and try again. The chanting is the means and the end. Yes sometimes we are impatient we have try to be steady,equiposed in happiness and distress. We have Srila Prabhupada and His books(books,letters,lectures,songs,videos etc.etc.) associate with him the Perfect master who is infallible. And ceto darpanam arjanam (spelling?) =by hearing over and over we cleanse the mirror of the mind of dirty things.

"The main avatara is the Maha Mantra"the Maha Mantra is Krsna,He dances on our tongues! Avatara means to incarnate or to take a body.Krsna does that from time to time which is verified in the revealed scriptures. Lord Caitanya for instance was described and was present 500 years ago. And our Founder/Acarya also was described before his arrival "every town and village the Maha Mantra will be" Then there will be Kalki approx.10,000years or at the end of this Kali yuga or age of quarrel. /images/graemlins/shocked.gif A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami is our most recent "Shaktivesa" Avatara having been powerfully empowered to spread Krsna consciousness throughout the world.He is still working towards that end with His books. Hare Krsna, no meat eating,no gambling,no illicit sex,no intoxication. one must come to the platform of goodness to understand that we are not this body we are spirit soul, what is our realationship to God. as above steps in Govindaram's guide go through step 1-4 and then stop and skip to #13, if you are very sincere to find out the truth,supersoul in your heart will guide.

Hare Krsna, Now that you have planted Tulsi (a great devotee) you must care for her. Bring her inside, she can not stand the cold. We used to have her in a heated room all to Herself and protected from kids. Maybe you could put her up high, so your little one(s) will not hurt Her. Offer Her puja and circumbamulate Her for wiping away sins.

Yes, Prabhupada(HareKrsna Founder/Acarya) can be heard from using the Mp3 players and the (almost) limitless necter in that format. Personally the Mp3s and a few 'gadgets' to listen to those has enriched my life to no bounds. This certainly is another very good way to connect to Krsna's most recent Avatara Srila Prabhupada.
