    Gita: Song of Extraordinary'

     

    Did anyone notice that they (Muslims) have changed the name of the book so it could suit them?

     

    Bhavagad Gita is translated as (if not mistaken) - "Song of God", but here, they made it into "Song of extraordinary".

     

    Good point :ponder:.Guess the kaafirs are not that bright to notice it.

     

    You are right that gita was translated with the title "Song of God".

    Abu Dhabi's Kalima publishes book on India's Gita

     

     

    The Kalima project announced that it is to release its Arabic translation of a publication dealing with the Indian classic spiritual book 'Bhagavad Gita'

     

    The book, 'Gita: Song of Extraordinary', is a thorough, comprehensive, and comparative study of the Hindu ethical and spiritual teachings, ..

    The book is translated into Arabic by Dr. Abdulwahab Al Muqlah, who praised Kalima for paying attention to the great Indian philosophical text that brings Arab readers knowledge of the spiritual enlightenment of the east.

     

    The Gita provides a summary of Hindu religious thought and practice, and is part six of the Mahabharata, the great Indian epic poem.

    No where it is mentioned in the article that Bhagavad Gita is from god krishna.

    THE ARTICLE STUDIOUSLY AVOIDS MENTIONING KRISHNA NAME.ONE WONDERS WHY?

    I got one recently, I found best thing do is:

     

    #1 Create Backup of your Entire hardrive (inc Operating System), using Norton Ghost.

     

    Or make sure you have a Windows (XP/Vista etc), BOOTABLE CD to re-install your Operating System (if you have one already, you may need to use KILLDISK (using a boot disk), and wipe your hardrive (always last resort) then install the Operating System.

     

    I find, the best way, to have a your Original Disk that you got with your PC, or to get a Recovery CD-Rom (this deletes your Partition in your Drive, and install Operating System.).

     

    ALways have an anti-virus program running (avast free or avg free), and try Malaware anti-spyware, Spybot. And try using Windows Washer to wash your System for files. Other then that, try to avoid going on the internet,.:eek:

     

    Avg av is mediocre.Best is avira followed by avast.For cleaning after attack use malwarebytes antimalware(free) followed by full scan of disk with AV.

    The childishness is coming from the Raghu, Kaiser no-way side. It's not bad that you are answering them because many who read here are being informed properly through your's and others answers.

     

     

    Kaiser no-way is an especially odd sort of poster. In the many years he has been here he has never stated his own view on spiritual life, not one time. He may be an atheist, Buddhist, monist but one thing he has never shown before is himself as a follower of Madhvacarya.

     

     

    He envisions his role in life is that of a counterweight to the Hare Krishna movement. Never a positive word, only faultfinding and nit picking.

     

    I second that.Dont feed the trolls like kaiserose and new kid on the block, raghu.

    It is stupid and unethical to trunckate anyone's karma by the very unqualified. I've never read of anyone being qualified to decside about abortion. If you look at what Srila Prabhupada says on the subject, then how to argue against?

     

    Ofcourse we are not qualified to decide upon; but the rape victim should have the option.

     

     

    That Vidura told Dhrtarastra to kill Duryodana is prime example of the right course of action.

    This example differs totally and cannot be compared to the plight of a rape victim.

    WWIII begain on 9/11/01, Bush said world war on terror. Just like WWII for amerika begain on 12/7/41. That the culmination of WWIII is nuclear exchange is a for gone conclution.

     

    So how would you stop or curtail this seamingly enevitable out come? Or expedite it?

    Good point, there must be a difference. The vedas say that the mental situation of a child is determined by the mental situation of the parents at the time when they make the child. In other words, if a young woman is raped by a convicted murderer who escaped from prison, the child will later on also become like his father. On the other hand, if Paris Hilton has a lover and gets pregnant, to abort in this case creates surely a totally different karma.

    Excellent point.It is stupid and unethical to expect a rape victim to bring the child in to the world .

    1. Kufrul-'Inaad: Disbelief out of stubborness. This applies to someone who knows the truth and admits to knowing the truth and admits to knowing it with his tongue, but refuses to accept it and refrains from making a declaration. Allaah subhanahu wa ta'ala says: Throw into Hell every stubborn disbeliever [soorah Qaaf (50), Ayah 24]

     

     

    2. Kufrul-Inkaar: Disbelief out of denial. This applies to someone who denies with both heart and tongue. Allaah subhanahu wa ta'ala says: They recognize the favors of Allaah, yet they deny them. Most of them are disbelievers. [soorah Nahl (16), Ayah 83]

     

     

    3. Kufrul-Kibr: Disbelief out of arrogance and pride. The disbelief by the devils (Iblees) is an example of this type of Kufr.

     

     

    4. Kufrul-Juhood: Disbelief out of rejection.This applies to someone who aknowledges the truth in his heart, but rejects it with his tongue. This types of kufr is applicable to those who calls themselves Muslims but who reject any necessary and accepted norms of Islam such as Salaat and Zakat. Allaah subhanahu wa ta'ala says: They denied them (OUR SIGNS) even though their hearts believed in them , out of spite and arrogance. [soorah Naml (27), Ayah 14]

     

     

    5. Kufrul-Nifaaq: Disbelief out of hypocrisy.This applies to someone who pretends to be a believer but conceals his disbelief. Such a person is called a MUNAFIQ or hypocrite. Allaah subhanahu wa ta'ala says: Verily the hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of Hell. You will find no one to help them. [soorah An Nisaa (4), Ayah 145]

     

     

    6. Kufrul-Istihaal: Disbelief out of trying to make HARAM into HALAL. This applies to someone who accepts as lawful (Halal) that which Allaah has made unlawful (Haram) like alcohol or adultery.Only Allaah subhanahu wa ta'ala has the prerogative to make things Halal and Haram and those who seek to interfere with His right are like rivals to Him and therefore fall outside the boundries of faith.

     

     

    7. Kufrul-Kurh: Disbelief out of detesting any of Allaah's subhanahu wa ta'ala commands. Allaah subhanahu wa ta'ala says: Perdition (destruction) has been consigned to those who disbelieve and He will render their actions void. This is because they are averse to that which Allaah has revealed so He has made their actions fruitless. [soorah Muhammed (47), Ayah 8-9]

     

     

    8. Kufrul-Istihzaha: Disbelief due to mockery and derision. Allaah subhanahu wa ta'ala says: Say: Was it at Allaah, His signs and His apostles that you were mocking? Make no excuses. You have disbelieved after you have believed. [soorah Taubah (9), ayah 65-66]

     

     

    9. Kufrul-I'raadh: Disbelief due to avoidance. This applies to those who turn away and avoid the truth. Allaah subhanahu wa ta'ala says: And who is more unjust than he who is reminded of his Lord's signs but then turns away from them. Then he forgets what he has sent forward (for the Day of Judgement) [soorah Kahf (18), Ayah 57]

     

     

    10. Kufrul-Istibdaal: Disbelief because of trying to substitute Allaah's Laws. This could take the form of:

     

     

     

    (a) Rejection of Allaah's law (Sharee'ah) without denying it

     

    (b) Denial of Allaah's law and therefore rejecting it, or

    Substituting Allaah's laws with man-made laws
    . Allaah subhanahu wa ta'ala says:
    Or have they partners with Allaah who have instituted for them a religion which Allaah has not allowed

    The word kafir is from Islam & has its roots in intolerance. Obviously, there is no equivalent for this word in any branch of Hinduism that I know.

     

    As for the Original Post of Hindus "appealing" to Muslims - what can I say? After being wimps for 1000 years, I guess it has become second nature.
