Sadhna=Habit, attitude towards God to get his kripa.

    Bhakti=Nasha or masti.

If you don't mind i would like to amend your summation.

Bhakti is not masti(merry).Being blissful is a side effect of bhakti but

it is not merry perse.Bhakti means devotion to god, being immersed in thoughts of god.

Sadhana is a practice made habitual in the pursuit of bhakthi(devotion) with emphasis on certain predetermined rituals.Sadhana is not an attitude.

  2.

Ramakrishna practised several religions, including Islam and Christianity, and recognized that in spite of the differences, all religions are valid and true and they lead to the same ultimate goal—

That makes him a deluded fool not a spiritual minded person.

How can you call an ideology/ religion that says kill unbelievers and take their wives and children as spoils of war be deemed as valid??.Can god allow hapless women and children to be taken as slaves???

  3.

here a question though an astrologer once told me that the reason why my life is so hard is cause i only pray to sri krsna and not really the other gods is this true??????

    .

    Hinduism doesn't have jealous god(s).

But the poor astrologer has to make a living, you see :D.

I have enough experience with astrologers to come around to the view that in most of the cases it is harmful listening to them.

  4. If you dont mind asking i am bit confused on

"You are the other half to make me whole"

This kind of statement is used referring to a life partner and not a twin.Twins are separate beings and have no significant influence on each other. The twins dont share their destiny with each other.

I did some translation using http://spokensanskrit.de/ and a bit of common sense.

    twin- yamala - यमल

    soul- आत्मन् - aatman

    mirror(image) - प्रतिबिंब - pratibiMba

  5.

Don’t relate it with the sin committed in the past life. There are people religion who doesn’t believe in past life.

Karma catches up no matter one believe or don't believe or one tries to manipulate it.

Logically speaking if there is no karma the only other option is god simply doesn't bother.

  6. Taliban are freedom fighters????.

The atheists mask of jinglebells is slowly coming off.The mention of jimmy carter in earlier thread should have alerted me.My bad, i mistook this self proclaimed atheist as a missionary :(.

We are talking about Taliban in pakistan.

So, what kind of freedom the talibs are fighting for?

Freedom to take people to barbaric 7th century?

freedom to kill school going girls?

Freedom to administer sharia? which includes flogging the ladies??

    Freedom to bomb girl schools??

what freedom they are fighting for??

remove the mask completely, jinglebells :P

  7. Jeffster here is another interesting piece analyzing why pakisthan normally deploys poorly trained police force against taliban. The present military operation by pakistan army is to get us aid.

Pak Taliban op timed to get US aid?

  8.

No, this is an Age where being IGNORANCE means being Good.

As long as you are ignorant of Evil-minded people doing Evil things, you are being good (toward them).

When you question others or stand for your rights, you are being "bad" toward them. At least, that's how I'm labelled by Muslims.

No, i find it much tougher dealing with nonmuslims who think that the best way of dealing with the problem is pretending that there is no problem. This is the battle(changing the mindset) which has to be won first to minimize costs in the future.

Still, temples occupy a lot of space...30 thousand of them! Imagine!

Imagine what???.Would you like to replace them with churches?. What exactly is your point?.Are u that retarded.

And these politicians are also Hindus, and they worship Hindu gods, go to temples etc. etc. See a pattern here?

Yes, i see a pattern here.A retard who repeatedly fails to recognise when he is smacked thoroughly.

Stupid idiots like you who dont comeout of the evangelical crap cant see that politicians are of various faiths. And there is shortage of genuine and strong hindu save a few like narendra modi who chose to enter politics

What a heartless thing to say! Millions of Indians are starving, because according to your bigoted view, they're all lazy and starving.

Who told you there are millions starving?? which church gave you this data?.People who are starving are too stupid like you who dont want to work or seek help.

Point is, they're more secular than religious; whereas Hindus are more interested in cows than they are in fellow human beings starving on the streets.

Again an evangelistic propoganda. You pretend that you haven't read Sonic yogi's post about temples feeding poor people.Temples serve food to poor people irrespective of faith.Temples are not proselytizing centres unlike your churches who insist on conversion before they serve.

    I am Indian, btw.

Aha,When was the last time you set your evangelical foot on indian soil.?

More than 6 decades, and hindus are still waiting for a corruption-free politician and system! Good luck!

That is true. hindus are waiting for strong politicians who follow sanatana dharma and not the crooks who pose as indians and behave like cheaters .

Somebody like Mr Narendra Modi when he takes becomes primeminister is going to kick the corrupt fellows and slaves like you who peddle his masters faith.

  10.

We can feed people only by producing things. No consumption without production.

Correct. But there is no shortage of land for factories necessiating removal of temples.

And there are thirty thousands temples in India, all the revenue generated there going to corrupt priests and politicians.

FYI ,The earnings from temple lands is controlled by government not priests.

Most of the government funds for poverty eradication goes to the pockets corrupt government officials. So, by your own logic we should be demolishing goverment.

So much food, water, ghee, milk, sweets are wasted on the idols which have no life, whereas real, living people are starving in the streets of India.

Sonic yogi has already answered your point.I will add more. There is no shortage of food in India .people who refuse to work are starving not because a tiny bit of food is wasted on idols that too on accassions not every day.

Is it any wonder that India is still a third-world country whereas Ireland, also a country ruined by imperialism, has managed to become one of the wealthiest and industrialized nations?

It is a wonder that stupid fellow like you lives in ireland.Irish people i know are of very smart kind. Now, did the irish became prosperous after demolishing Churches? .

    What exactly is your point?

People can make slumdog kinda movies about India, because these things actually exist. They can't make such movies about Ireland, why do you think that is? I am sure you know the answer.

The answer is eradicating political corruption and electing strong leadership.Demolishing places of worship is not the answer. Now, tell me how much funds you have managed for evangelisation?
