Brother in law should wear Blue Sapphire and diamond. Sat. is currently transiting 8th house from the moon. This is (from myobservation) the worst of transits. Causes difficulties. I don't see any problems with her being Manglik. - Pablo

You are looking in the wrong place. Why look to Mars, Rahu and Jupiter when Venus rules the 10th house of career? Wearing diamond is always auspicious for Makara lagna. Best of luck. - Pablo

I think it makes sense to wear Gomedha when you are running MD or AD of Rahu. You have to deal with his energy anyhow right?

You must give a place of birth. And if you are in such urgent need of an astrologer you might want to search for a PROFESSIONAL astrologer, one that you actually pay. You will probably get better results anyhow. This list does have some great astrologers posting but they are often busy and, probably like me, only respond when they have the time or see a post that is particularly interesting or moving to them. After all how demanding can you be when you are offering nothing?

This is most strange. You say you never loved him, then he gets married to someone else, isn't that your good fortune? Seems like God has helped you out. Now you can find someone who you will love. For astrology I'm not much into marriage analysis, I will let other astrologers advise.

You have a strong chart. Venus is exalted, Sun exalted, Jup in 10th house. The main problem is the malefics in the 9th house and particularly moon which is heavily afflicted. Also you are running Sadeshati. Most important that you wear a large pearl put on a monday when the moon is waxing and under the influence of Jupiter. Honor the divine mother every day! This is a misuse of astrology. The baby will be born when it must be born. Trying to tamper with time of birth brings bad karma. Don't misunderstand me. Your intentions are good, but this is wrong. I know full well that there are groups in India who believe in this, so I am not ignorant of that fact but I wholly believe it's not right. Do you really think the karma of the baby in that womb will change because you have it born at a different time? It doesn't work like that. Whatever good/bad deeds it performed in a past life will be experienced in this life. - Pablo

I remember Chakrapani Ullal saying that when Saturn and Mars are aspecting or conjunct there is always strong chance of earthquake. Here we have it in La, 5.8 magnitude. And around a solar eclipse as well...interesting. - Pablo

This chart has quite some difficulties. 2 Vata planets (Saturn & Mercury) occupy the asc. Sun is in the 12th house and Jup. occupies another Dushana, 8 and Saturn is highly Neecha. This can cause problems of "high wind". Anxiety, nervousness, fear even paranoia. There is a feeling of constriction, depression and even impotency. You feel fate is against you and you say "why is life always so difficult?". Part of this is bad karma from the past, part may be from a soul wanting to develop a more spiritual side of life. This chart is good for Moksha. Lord of the ascendant Mars is in the 9th house, that gives some spirituality too and goodness to the chart. But still there is a parivartana yoga between Mars and jupiter, that is 8th and 9th lords. You must do Hanuman Chalisa every Saturday and offer some service on Saturdays. Chant Mantras for Saturn if you know them. I would recommend 3 gemstones for you. Ruby, red coral & most importantly Yellow Sapphire for Jupiter. This is a very hot combination but will do well for you. If you cannot afford Ruby & Yellow sapphire, you can substitute large citrine (instead of yellow sapphire) and large red garnet (instead of Ruby). You should strive to be more enterprising, trusting and cultivate good habits. Do Surya Namaskar every day! Pearl is also recommended. Engage actively in an uplifiting spiritual path. Your problem is caused by Saturn. Saturn in 10th makes one quite serious. Many ups and downs in life, particularly career. Specifically because it is retrodgrade. It is transiting your ascendant. The 2nd house is well fortified so you always find a way to get money. Right now you are going through a Mercury cycle. Mercury is not well placed in the chart. It is in 3rd house and with malefic moon. Mercury is the wealth giving planet for Leos but can bring health difficulties. So you can wear emerald/peridot but must watch your health. You are likely to travel quite a bit during this Mercury cycle. You probably won't be able to stay in one place for too long. It is in the house of adventures/travel! I would recommend Vishnu Sahasranm on Wednesdays. Honor Saturn on Saturdays by chanting Mantras feeding the poor or some type of selfless service if possible. What Bhaaskaran has stated is quite correct. Moon is in difficult Nakshatra flanked by malefics. Yet Jupiter aspects Venus in its own sign in 4th house as well as moon too so there is some relief. 3rd house indications are not so good. All seperative planets are there (Sun, lord of 12th and Saturn). She will do better away from brothers. Still mercury exalted there helps things. But it may be just enough to allow her to stay in a difficult situation. She is going through a good sub-cycle (Rahu/Venus). Business prospers. Pearl is recommended. - Pablo

I appreciate Deepa's thoughts on this. we all share in the grief of this terrible incident. In America too, a crazy lunatic killed 7 people in a church during a children's play, ugh. From an astrological view of all this several negative things come together : 1) Between eclipses 2) Tithi of Moon was Krishna Navami, probably the worst 3) waning moon 3) Nakshatra was Bharani (death giving nakshatra) 4) happened on Saturday During Sept 11th, 2001 there was similar situation 1) Krishna Navami (again) 2) Nakshatra was Ardra (even worse than Bharani) 3) happened on Tuesday, another inauspicious day (and in the morning, worst time for Tuesdays) 4) Saturn was in Rohini 5) Moon was with Rahu and aspected by Mars. we should always be cautious when Asuras have the upper hand. - Pablo

Mars is quite weak in this chart. Ketu is on the asc. Both these things cause fear, suspicion and worry. 5th lord is strong in Asc and aspects 5th house of children. No malefic aspects to 5th house. fears are baseless. wear pearl/red coral combination. - Pablo

Chart "A" I would guess the death took place somewhere around June/July or if not then the end of the year around Christmas. In fact strong chance it took place around christmas. Am I correct? In chart "A" we see double maraka mars on the degree of the Asc. in exchange with Venus which dwells in a maraka house. Mars influences the moon as well as its lord too. Rahu is in the 8th house of death. Rahu/Sat (or Sat/Rahu) is probably the most likely time for people to die than any other cycle - all things being equal. Saturn here is lord of the moon sign which is placed in the 4th house of vehicles. Mars aspects all this. Chart "B" Did this person die in the same accident? Chart ould seem to say so, late in 2006. In this chart Sat, Maraka lord is in maraka house (2nd) aspecting Sun (lord of asc) and moon both along nodal axis. Jupiter MD lord is lord of 8th house of death, Retrograde and aspecting same Sun and moon. Death ould have occurred in Jup/Sat/Rahu (after Oct 2006). - Pablo

Career is better than marriage. This person really must wear a tri-ratna set of Pearl for Moon, Red coral for Mars and Yellow Sapphire for Jupiter. The pearl should be as large as combined weight of Red coral and yellow Sapphire. It should be big! This person should have special Yajna for Moon. - Pablo

sometimes it is frustrating to give astrological advice. My friend asked me how he could improve his finances, he was in dire straights - so I said, "well Mercury is your 2nd lord so you should strengthen Mercury. Morgan, CitiBank, Providian Bank, American Honda and am currently working for Chevron in California. Trust me, I know about managing business in America! when I was in New York my boss used to break a phone every week! It was part of the budget, lol. He would shout obscenities all day long! even at his wife, an employee! And this is at one of the most prestigious brokerage houses in the country!
