I would fully agree with Deepari here. Just because there is a parivartana yoga doesn't mean it is always good or makes Mercury strong. A good friend of mine also has a parivartana yoga with Jupiter in 12th house and 12 lord Saturn in 1st house and I guarantee it does not make Jupiter strong! Do the remedies for Mercury and a little self-control/humility is necessary too. The weakness of ascendant lord and Sun in 12th house give feelings of desperation. Vishnu Saharanama on Wednesdays and wear Emerald.

12th house from Arudha lagna? Any time lord of the asc is in the 2nd house it will automatically be 12th from Arudha lagna, that is not important. Sun as asc lord is much more important. It will not increase expenses. In fact lord of asc in 2nd could help with cash flow. And yes, Rahu/Venus in Arudha lagna is strong.

It is odd that your are having a problem with finances at the moment since this chart seems to indicate a person with a great earning capacity. In some ways it is vaguely similar to Oprah Winfrey who is also a Sag. Ascendant with Venus in the 2nd of Capricorn and Saturn exalted in 11th in Libra. She also has many planets in Capricorn. So, eventually money will be absolutely no problem and you could be quite wealthy even rich. What is happening now is perhaps the MD of Mars brings into play the lord of the 12th house of loss. Other astrologers have mentioned Saturn and that is important. I would definitely follow their remedies. But I would like to also bring up the situation of the 9th house/lord. The 9th house and lord are often even more important than Jupiter. Ketu and inauspicious Mercury are in the 9th house and the 9th lord is in the 8th. Also Ketu is natural enemy of the Sun and in Leo. This causes a lot of misfortune. If you cannot afford a ruby, then wear a garnet necklace or bracelet. Put it on when the Sun is strong (from Aug 16-Sept 14 ) on a Sunday when the moon is waxing. Do Surya Namaskar and always take some time out on Sunday to focus on serving the Guru or some type of Solar worship. In ancient Rome, imprinted on all coins was the phrase "Sol Invictus". Well 2nd house is specific to wealth. 11th house is a house of gains but supercedes just wealth. Gains of all kinds. It is a house of ego/ambition/achievement. 2nd and 11th lords in "relationship" does produce wealth. But we cannot ignore the debilitation of Saturn. So gains and losses but perhaps a little more gains. You are, of course, quite correct about Yellow Sapphire. Forgot to point that out! This person should wear Yellow Sapphire. Jupiter aspecting Rahu in 12th gives some spirituality to the nature and helps protect against losses. I don't really count aspects from Rahu and Ketu although many astrologers do. I would like to hear more about this. How many astrologers on this list count the 5th & 9th aspects of Rahu/Ketu? Yes, you're right Sun as 6th lord is negative in 9th house. But, again, Sun in 9th is still good for spirituality and gives some strength to the person's confidence/character. Many people consider Sun neutral for a Pisces. I consider it a little negative.

Well Kuja dosha sometimes means a person marries a person with a strong Mars, sometimes inauspicious mars. It sounds like you might have done that but I don't know all the facts. Saturn is not malefic for Libras. It is yogakaraka "Royal union indicator". It gives prosperity and success when strong. It only causes problems for other ascendants. In fact Moon is in Capricorn and Saturn is auspicious from that perspective as well. So, again, blue sapphire is recommended. Also, keep in mind somethings go beyond astrology. No astrologer can tell you whether you should stay married or not you have to make that decision yourself. I don't see anything in the chart saying you can't marry a wonderful person and have good married life. Kuja dosha means you should marry someone else that has kuja dosha. Not correct. Lagna lord is in 8th not 12th. It is good for unearned income/inheritance. As far as 2nd and 11th lords there's no point in reposting what someone else says. It is better if you can instruct the person how to best make use of the yoga not just "You will earn then lose".

It is true that Kuja is in Lagna influencing the ascendant, ascendant lord, moon and lord of the moon sign. But Venus is stronger in the ascendant and the moon is in a cold sign, Capricorn. So I don't see it being so bad. The main problem I see is yogakaraka Saturn in the 8th house. This not only is the lord of the 4th house of the mind but also lords over the moon itself and as noted earlier is under affliction from Mars. Are the problems in marriage associated with mental difficulties or something else (like infidelity). Wear a blue sapphire in a gold ring on Saturday when the moon is waxing. Mantras and other shanti methods for Saturn are also recommended.

Please note all the cold planets in angles (Saturn, Rahu, Venus, Moon). Your chart lacks heat, decisiveness. It's very yin. Also, when Saturn is afflicted and Rahu is on the ascendant the person is subjected to many fears/phobias. You MUST do shanti methods for Saturn somehow. I agree with other astrologers this person's Rahu MD will be great. I don't understand the implications that there could be health/illness issues with Rahu MD, maybe astro_tech can explain. Regarding the problem with left hip/leg, remember Moon rules the left side of body. If you are in Mars/Moon cycle and Sat is in 12th these problems can happen. you are not happy that I didn't answer specific questions but you must understand that Mercury is both lord of the Ascendant AND lord of the moon sign. So it addresses ALL aspects of life. Health, wealth, family, progeny, career, mental satisfaction, relgious inclination, everything. There is no need to address specifics. Strengthen Mercury to get remedy for all afflictions. I looked at this person's chart. The main problem as stated by other Astrologers is Saturn. Sani is retrgrade in the 8th house and aspects both the 5th house and 5th lord twiceover from both the ascendant AND the moon. Sani also aspects the moon itself. But such a powerful 5th house must bear children at some point. The astrologers who gave you remedies for Saturn, listen to their advice and all should be well. Also, the moon is afflicted by both Mars and Saturn and is in Kema Druma yoga (isolated). Wearing pearl at auspicious time will bring fortune. - Pablo

If your mother is Aquarius with Mars in the 12th (Capricorn) then probably it's ok to wear Red coral. Mars is only slightly malefic for Aquarius. It rules mixed houses (10 very good, 3 not so good). But in this case it is exalted so its nature is better than usual. However it is weak in 12th house and could use support. If she has been wearing for 25 years with no adverse results, then why not keep wearing? - Pablo

How is it defined? A curse of the ancestors? I have had some very strange things happen regarding my grandfather (he has passed on) that make me wonder if I have it. One time at a job in Las Vegas all of a sudden everyone started complaining of this aweful smell coming from my cubicle and I smelled it too. I am a very clean person so I didn't understand. No garbage, no mess, clean carpet, everything. But it smelled exactly like my grandfather used to smell, this kind of moth-ball/sour smell, was very distinct. Well NORMALLY this person should have a good chart for wealth. But they are coming to the end of a very long Saturn cycle. Sat is in the 6th house of enemies/debts. This will end soon. What is interesting is that Saturn is exalted to its maximum degree and yogakaraka for Taurus, still Saturn tests everybody. Mars is particularly weak aspected by this powerful Saturn and debilitated itself. This person should take up physical exercise and be disciplined about it. Mars aspect on the moon makes them hot-tempered. The moon is in Kema druma yoga, isolated too. This person is implusive, particularly with regards to career. But anyhow most problems will correct themselves end of next year (dec 2009). At the point Mercury MahaDasha will appear and they will have TOO much money, lol. It's true that there are 3 debilitated planets. But Mercury/Venus are in Parivartana yoga (mutual exchange) this is auspicious and helps to cancel the debilitation. Remember both Michael Jordan and Garry Kasparov (chess champion) have both debiliated Mars and debilitated Moon. But because they swap signs they actually function very well! Same is true for your Venus & Mercury. But you are going through Rahu phase and Rahu afflicts Venus very closely. Lakshmi mantras are VERY important. Honor the divine mother. Mars is most devasted, debiliated in 8th house but the Sun and 9th house are also under great stress. You should wear a Ruby. Strengthening 9th lord brings great good fortune. You are Gemini Lagna. You are a deep soul but sometimes too kind and thoughtful. You must try and be more decisive. Surya Namaskar is very good for you and worship of Sun (but DO NOT wear Ruby). Both Sun and Mercury are in 12th house. Mercury is most important as Lagna lord and lord of moon sign. You are going throug Jupiter /Mercury now so it is no coincidence you are getting this advice. When I was younger I had terrible problem with Acne. I met someone who told me his Guru had advised him of a solution which is a bit unusual and which I tried. My acne which had been a problem for many years was gone in a week! True story! Anyhow, the solution was to take the 2nd half of my urine at night and pee into a cup. Then I would apply that urine to the acne before going to sleep. It sounds disgusting but it worked!
