  1. Dark Warrior, You come from the School of Ramanujacharya?
  2. No wonder why it is so, if parents couldn't understand the Bhagvata Doctrine what can they transmit to Kids. Infact, things get complicated. Krishna Consciousness has become more like a Culture or set of rules to be followed rather than trying to unlock its mystery. Anyways, it is the third option given by Krishna and it's better to follow that than some other process. Very rarely someone tries to see the first 2 options.
  3. Dear Dark Warrior, The sun can start rising from the west, but you will remain adamant. Anyways you have your own unique style, so do we and that's what makes it the most interesting Forum. Well, no further argument for this thread from my part.
  4. About the supremacy of Vishnu, we don't have any doubt Dark Warrior. But the way you deal with it is not appropriate, though all your evidence might be right. You are aware of so many facts but still you didn't understand that the topic of Supremacy between Hari and Shiva should not be dealt.
  5. Tolerance is a word which is too oftenly used but very rarely do we understand where should we practice it. Any problem encountered on ones personal account should be tolerated. Any problem encountered on the execution of the plans of Hari should not be tolerated.
  6. Thank you very much for the insight guliaditya. I won't deny what you've said, which I totally agree. But remember Sri Ram is known as Maryada Purushottam. He took birth to show how a man should act. Like a man, though being the Supreme, he showed respect to Shiva. If he wouldn't have done that, common man would have not shown respect to the Dearest of Devotee. If a pure devotee has written Smriti, it can never contradict Shruti. And Goswami Tulsidas needs no introduction in that respect.
  7. Yes, Ram did worship Shiva. Whatever, Tulsidasji has said is authentic. And remember, the Great Saint also said, our Dear Ram is the Supreme Brahman.
  8. One thing is for certain, both Dark Warrior and GaneshPrasad are well versed with their Scriptures. It's indeed wonderful. Cheers my friends, keep on fighting and continue illuminating me.
  9. I perfectly understand why many in this forum respect you so much. Thanks for showing us the real essence of Vaishnavism. Cheers.
  10. Thanks Radhey Radhey108 for the remembrance, I forgot about that special day. My obeissance to our Universal Mother, the dearest of Ram. Jai Sita Ram Jai Hanuman
  11. He is a liberated person and has attained the highest perfection. He is one of the best student of the Gita that the world has ever known. However his only regret was that he learnt it at later stage of his life...but I know, with Krishna, time factor does not count.
  12. If we go deep in the definition of faith, the words surrounding its definition is belief. It leaves a margin for the following terms contradiction, unsupported thesis and version issues to crop up. The very next term that comes with that is doubt, that's why many people sometimes sees others faith better than theirs and then only that we often get to hear "change of faith". If a Vaishnava is still fighting about faith issues and still cannot see the links between all religions then the message of Gita is still not clear to him. What a Vaishnava inculcates is Knowledge, the Knowledge that clears all doubts. And from knowledge does Bhakti comes. Bhakti means applying all knowledge acquired in the service of God. However, we do discriminate and why we do it Theist has already said it remarkably.
  13. I don't know much about his spiritual advancement, but 1 thing i still can't understand: If he really wants his country get relief and also if he really wants a solution for his country, he should have been in Tibet not somewhere else.
  14. Thanks cbrama, you've rightly put forward the real purpose and spirit of Vaishnavism. Indeed, you know the secret of the missing links between the different religions. Cheers.
  15. Look at the beauty of Krishna Consciousness, it is even possible to get jewels from beggars also. Thanks indeed, Beggar;).
  16. Unluckily never, but when i was a kid, i assisted two or 2 satsang where I used to hear the Chaupai. It is really beautiful. It's becoming very rare these days.
  17. Nope, you are the enlightened Kangaroo
  18. Might be all of you are right, but whoever might be the supreme. You are all putting Hari and Shivji in a difficult situation. Not by quoting from here and there that you will be able to know the relationship between Hari and Shivji. It needs deeper means than that. The day you'll realise the truth, that day there will be complete silence from your mouth. Don't show your ignorance by opening your mouth. This message is meant for all of you and including me. Jai Sri Ram. Har Har Mahadev.
  19. Thanks for the mind purifying information. It's by the birth of these great souls only that the world reestablishes its loss balance.
  20. How do we perceive death is a very critical issue; it varies from person to person. The various types of fear associated with death depends on the level of attachment that we have towards our body and also towards our lord. Having understood fully the phrase "aham brahmasami", we can realise that death does not exist, our deeply saturated mind for the love of God does not make us realise the body and soul transition. And also the fear of pain often comes when we don't have that much faith on Hari. For a Devotee who is supposed to get a difficult death for the sake of Humanity, an equal courage is given to match it. Thinking too much about death means, still we have not elevated ourselves from doubts and duality. For the one who has really seen the soul, he knows that "no one Kills and no one dies."
  21. Don't worry, if you arrive to decode the Gita, then you know all the scriptures. However, if you have recently started with Gita then certainly you may be able to relish the scriptures regarding Bhakti like Bhagvatam, Ramcharitramanasa etc. Still whatever I said is based on logical hierachies but if Krishna wants you can learn about the Infinite from any source within anytime.
