  1. Perfectly said.... and after getting the grace of sadhu and scripture and realising that ones only aim should be devotional service, one will see that he is trancendental to vice and virtue. Proof of a humble soul.
  2. It's tough to remember all these things. I need a good revision:(. Give us some time .
  3. Hihi...Terrifically and wisely said. I suppose now Theist will have 2 wives.
  4. There'll never be a remedy if till one won't understand that Krishna Consciouness is not attained via academically but through mercy.
  5. Well said. It has been wonderfully elaborated in the Ramcharitramanas. Plz read, u'll definately get the answer why Shivji is so cool. Tulsidasji 's masterpiece.
  6. Thanks for that, but humbly, after knowing by the Grace of Hari some of the qualities of Mahatmas, I don't have the courage to claim that I have some love for Krishna or having understood the purpose of Vedas. Infact, I need to thank you all Vaishnavas, without whom I'm nothing. If with ego, I can claim to have understood something, then I would like to thank Srila Prabhupada and also all the great acharya of the different but same conclusive Sampradaya who rescued me in my delusive moments. I can never take the credit of anything even if something good can come out of me.
  7. Hmmm... the Eternal problem of understanding the Real meaning of Renunciation or the search for spiritual understanding...
  8. Yes, you are right Kimfelix. The great sage Veda Vyas was not satisfied even after writing all the Srutis and Smritis. Only after being instructed by the Great Narada, that he wrote his last master piece, the Srimad Bhagvatam and hence felt his life to be successful.
  9. Yes, it is so. The various kinds of Human (depending on their respective level of consciousness) can satisfy all their desires through the Vedas without hurting their ego. However, very few can understand the conclusion of the Vedas. You are wise enough Theist, to understand what I mean.
  10. 8. His situation was the same as the Beggar who came in front of a king to ask a handful of rice. Whatever he asked from Vishnu was insignificant when compared to what Vishnu could give as the Best gift (Devotional Service).
  11. Me and Test???????????????????
  12. Veda does not come in a particular time in History. It is a Sruti and therefore eternal. Unlike Smriti which is an explanation of Sruti do comes in a particular time in History. It is worthy to note that the Upanishads also is Sruti and therefore ever existing. But the most amazing thing is both Smriti and Sruti tell the same eternal fact even though one comes in a point in time and the other is ever existing. Even more astonishing than that is the Nature of Gita, I suppose I'll let you all decide, how it is???????
  13. When His father Vasudev took the Lord from Mathura to Gokul and left Him there in the middle of the night at Nanda Maharam house, The Lord was feeling thirsty and there he was fed by Mother Cow for the First time. However, it's worth noting that the Lord loves the cows unconditionally, it's an eternal matter.
  14. For your 1st post, you came like a hurricane. Cheers Dude. (Om namo Bhagvate Vasudevaya Shiva Shiva Shiva, Om namah Shivaya)
  15. O Partha, elevate yourself from vice and virtue... Be Trancendental to it.
  16. Yes, you are right. His lilas he only knows.
  17. Oui, je viens d'un pays Francophone et pareille comme toi, Je parle un petit peut de Francais de temps en temps. Mais, la communication doit etre fait en Anglais, sinon les autres vont rien comprendre:confused:
  18. Well, the identification of The Mahatma has never been a yuga issue, it is an eternal issue. Since time immemorial the Birth of a Mahatma on this material world been very very rare and identifying that person is very very difficult also. But I can see that Kalyuga has removed this problem also, we can find Bhaktas in every corner of the street.
  19. Paradoxically, I've heard that Hitler was a serious student of the Gita...
  20. Me too in certain circumstances. If we take a look at the Battlefield of Kurukshetra, while giving the lecture of the Gita, at times he was Humorous but I don't think that there is a conversation as sober as the Celestial Song.
  21. Mais, c'est tres bien d'avoir quelqu'un qui connait le Francais dans ce Forum:)
  22. After reading this thread, I think there is nothing left for me to add. Anyways, it was nice to read.
  23. In Krishna Consciousness, the very meaning of Liberation is service to others [Lokasamgraha]. The dearest of Devotee of Sri Ram, Sri Hanuman didn't return to Vaikunth even after Ram lila was completed on earth. He said, he'll be here till Ram Naam will be chanted.
  24. I do have my own personal beginning in the spritual quest, but I prefer not to give my personal experience as an example. But I will still give you some tips: 1. Try to invoke the mercy of Krishna and His Devotees, by this definately a concrete path will be created for you. 2. Never fear to venture alone in your quest, with time certainly you'll start getting the required support. But at any point in time, you are never alone, the Lord is always seated in your Heart, knowing your endeavours. 3. It's not you who decide, how'll you'll know the Lord, it's He who'll take the responsibility of everything, provided that your quest is sincere. 4. Not being attached with any Sampradaya is Good, but definately you'll get your Knowledge from atleast one of them, there is no way out. Be more concerned with what the Guru laid and not too much with what His followers are doing. All the Sampradaya teaching Bhakti to Vishnu is Bonafide, but in the beginning you'll need the eye to discrimate for the right ones and don't worry that also will be made available by Krishna. 5. If there is something more, I'll tell you. Jai Sri Ram Jai Sri Hanuman
