  1. We Hare Krishnas of the Planet earth and this Brahmanda, do not have any confusion as to the position of Krishna and the multitudes of expansions incarnating from him. Krishna is Bhagavan in his 'original-original form'. His eternal personage is not sought on ones own but rather through Sri Krishna's own spoken words and instructions as it is that he speaks in the Gita. We must repeat 'verbatim'--word for word what Krishna himself proclaims--this is the stuff of which great mantras are composed. It is a bereftment of intelligence to think that God is not an Absolute entity. The definition of God is: The source of all qualities in full--this is an absolute state of existance that constitutes the Existance of only one entity in the whole of all the created cosmos and universes. The relative statements of a mental spectulation is limited to the degree of worldly experiences. The Absolute state of existance is not relative nor subjective. The Kingdom of heaven where Krishna lives requires all souls to learn the Absolute requisite ettiquette to gain entry. ............................................................................................. Sri Isopanisad Mantra 15: O my Lord, sustainer of all that lives, Your real face is covered by Your dazzling effulgence. Kindly remove that covering and exhibit Yourself to Your pure devotee. Purport: . . . “The Personality of Godhead, who is perceived as the impersonal, blissful Brahman by the jnanis, who is worshiped as the Supreme Lord by devotees in the mood of servitorship, and who is considered an ordinary human being by mundane people, played with the cowherd boys, who had attained their position after accumulating many pious activities.” <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:" /><o:p></o:p> Thus the Lord is always engaged in transcendental loving activities with His spiritual associates in the various relationships of santa (neutrality), dasya (servitorship), sakhya (friendship), vatsalya (parental affection) and madhurya (conjugal love). <o:p></o:p> Since it is said that Lord Krsna never leaves Vrndavana-dhama, one may ask how He manages the affairs of the creation. <o:p></o:p> This is answered in the Bhagavad-gita (13.14–18): The Lord pervades the entire material creation by His plenary part known as the Paramatma, or Supersoul. Although the Lord personally has nothing to do with material creation, maintenance and destruction, He causes all these things to be done by His plenary expansion, the Paramatma. Every living entity is known as atma, soul, and the principal atma who controls them all is Paramatma, the Supersoul. <o:p></o:p> This system of God realization is a great science. The materialistic sankhya-yogis can only analyze and meditate on the twenty-four factors of the material creation, for they have very little information of the purusha, the Lord. . . . ..................................................................................................................... It is total self-serving illogic to say, "God is limited, and thus is not an etenal transcendent all-mighty spiritual person with his own name, fame, form, personality, paraphenlia, entourage and pastimes that are beyond the material world of the manifest 24 elements---but, we humans with our short life spans that we are awake for for only two-thirds (2/3) of each day, we humans possess our own persona form albeit for a relative short flash of a moment in space." The creation has as it's back ground an absolute empty field called "brahman"--but the purpose for all this is to allow a place for persons (souls) to re-link with the absolute person through their own volition--using the hours of their life in cultivating this work acumen that is directed toward an absolute end: Krishna Bhaktajan

Bhaktivedanta Swami]:<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> . . . Human beings are not meant to quarrel like cats and dogs. They must be intelligent enough to realize the importance and aim of human life. The Vedic literature is meant for humanity and not for cats and dogs. Cats and dogs can kill other animals for food without incurring sin, but if a man kills an animal for the satisfaction of his uncontrolled taste buds, he is responsible for breaking the laws of nature. Consequently he must be punished.<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> The standard of life for human beings cannot be applied to animals. The tiger does not eat rice and wheat or drink cow’s milk, because he has been given food in the shape of animal flesh. Among the many animals and birds, some are vegetarian and others are carnivorous, but none of them transgress the laws of nature, which have been ordained by the will of the Lord. Animals, birds, reptiles and other lower life forms strictly adhere to the laws of nature; therefore there is no question of sin for them, nor are the Vedic instructions meant for them. <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> Human life alone is a life of responsibility. It is wrong, however, to think that simply by becoming a vegetarian one can avoid transgressing the laws of nature. Vegetables also have life, and while it is nature’s law that one living being is meant to feed on another, for human beings the point is to recognize the Supreme Lord. Thus one should not be proud of being a strict vegetarian. <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> Animals do not have developed consciousness by which to recognize the Lord, but a human being is sufficiently intelligent to take lessons from the Vedic literature and thereby know how the laws of nature are working and derive profit out of such knowledge. <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> If a man neglects the instructions of the Vedic literature, his life becomes very risky. A human being is therefore required to recognize the authority of the Supreme Lord and become His devotee. He must offer everything for the Lord’s service and partake only of the remnants of food offered to the Lord. This will enable him to discharge his duty properly. <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> In the Bhagavad-gétä (9.26) the Lord directly states that He accepts vegetarian food from the hands of a pure devotee. Therefore a human being should not only become a strict vegetarian but should also become a devotee of the Lord, offer the Lord all his food and then partake of such prasädam, or the mercy of God. <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> Only those who act in this way can properly discharge the duties of human life. Those who do not offer their food to the Lord eat nothing but sin and subject themselves to various types of distress, which are the results of sin (Bg. 3.13).<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> The root of sin is deliberate disobedience of the laws of nature through disregarding the proprietorship of the Lord. Disobeying the laws of nature or the order of the Lord brings ruin to a human being. Conversely, one who is sober, who knows the laws of nature, and who is not influenced by unnecessary attachment or aversion is sure to be recognized by the Lord and thus become eligible to go back to Godhead, back to the eternal home.<o:p></o:p> …………………………………………………………………………………………..<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> "its funny how you guys push vegitarianism on everyone like you do. not everyone follows your strict path, doesnt make them bad. you do your thing, and let others do theirs."<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> We do push, it's a good push, it's the common denominator in spiritual life—first control the urges of the tongue/ahimsa/karma-management©/The maxim, 'we are not the body, we are spirit souls'/"Be like your father is in heaven" [not big beasts eating minor beasts].<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> We, and nobody, are doing their 'own thing'. 3. When we are old we will be asked: "What did you do during the war with the Islamic terrorists, Old man?" You, Kulapavana, will answer: "I did my best to spread the gosple, 'Christian and Jewish terrorists killed by far more innocent people then the Islamic terrorists.' " Please learn that intelligence is "the ability to descriminate"--for example the ability to descriminate between what is butter and what is cheese. What is milk and what is yogurt. You should start with recognizing your duties versus what comes out of your mouth. Please seek help for your self then start with the little problems and work up to the bigger ones--give yourself another 20 years to develop this skill. ys, Bhaktajan PS: My contempt for you is made clearly known to myself when I read your postings, how do you manage that?

  5. Bhavanada's fallen down was in 1983--25 years ago. Kirtananda ouster was 1987 -- 21 years ago. You're fretting over old yellowed and wilted and faded headlines. Iskcon is for making Brahmanas out of mudhas. Any critisizing of Iskcon name, fame, form, personality, paraphenelia, entuorage and pastimes is due to petty mindedness and/or ulterior motives such as covered atheistic tendencies and competition for supremacy over Srila Prabhupada's "House that he built for the whole world". Nobody is guilty of following cheaters--the diaspora has been depersed --the Iskcon's House is cleansed constantly. WE IN ISKCON ARE TAUGHT FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END TO RECOGNIZE AND AVOID THE UN-BONEFIDE GURUS AND YOGIS--WE KNOW PERFECTLY WHAT A BOGIE-YOGI [bogus-yogi] IS!
  6. Your body is totally acidic. Drink 1 1/2 Litters [1.5 Quarts] of Prune juice and/or apple juice to release your bowels. 'Ama' has accumulated in your intestines and the putrified acids from this ama is leaking out of your intestinal tract and is going into the blood stream [muscular/skeletal, or metabolic organs, or extreitory organs]. This mis-distribution of toxins that the liver and kidneys could not eliminate causes the toxins to be stored in body fat and/or in the bone and/or areas that are as far as possible from vital organs. The body must be ridden of these toxins, and then, the body's organs must be re-stregthened with proper nutrients to return to optimum functioning. First the intestines must be vacated, and then, "Alkaline" foodstuffs must be consumed, and thus, "acid producing foods" must be eliminated until proper PH is restored: Sugar, syrups, processed foods, bread, wheat and all grain flours & cereals, coffee, rice, beans, lentles, aged cheese, all kinds of oils, nuts [except almonds] and carbonated water and even 'local tap water with an inproper ph level' has been canabalizing your body's organs' own store of Vitimins, minerals and enzimes: To re-gain the required organs' own store of Vitimins, minerals and enzimes you must change your diet overall. Note: Mineral Water with a 'ph' of 7 as listed on the label is best. Tap water that has been filtered is next best. Tap water with alkalizing drops added to restore the water's correct ph is also recommended. But, for now: Eat only vegetables [except tomatoes] especially as soups, potatoes, green leafy vegitables, alfalfa sprouts, fresh milk whey, only fresh soft curd cheeses, milk made of almond paste, Green Juices: Barley grass powder juice, spirolina powder juice, fresh yogurt and especially aphodofolous and probiotics. Avoid aged cheese and fruit juices until recovery. best regards, Bhaktajan

Without ulterior motives you act so as to assist in Prabhupada's mission in the following way—<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:" /><o:p></o:p> So, in yall's collective judgement Iskcon's Fallen Gurus, are not men who failed in their mission and vows, but who are described thusly by Srila Prabhupada:<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> Isopanisad Mantra 12 Purport: <o:p></o:p> . . . the path of salvation from the material clutches fully depends on the principles of knowledge and detachment gained from serving the Lord. The pseudo religionists have neither knowledge nor detachment from material affairs, for most of them want to live in the golden shackles of material bondage under the shadow of philanthropic activities disguised as religious principles. <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> By a false display of religious sentiments, they present a show of devotional service while indulging in all sorts of immoral activities. In this way they pass as spiritual masters and devotees of God. Such violators of religious principles have no respect for the authoritative äcäryas, the holy teachers in the strict disciplic succession. <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> They ignore the Vedic injunction äcäryopäsana—“One must worship the äcärya”—and Kåñëa’s statement in the Bhagavad-gétä (4.2) evaà paramparä-präptam, “This supreme science of God is received through the disciplic succession.” Instead, to mislead the people in general they themselves become so-called äcäryas, but they do not even follow the principles of the äcäryas.<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> These rogues are the most dangerous elements in human society. Because there is no religious government, they escape punishment by the law of the state. They cannot, however, escape the law of the Supreme, who has clearly declared in the Bhagavad-gétä that envious demons in the garb of religious propagandists shall be thrown into the darkest regions of hell (Bg. 16.19–20). <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> Çré Éçopaniñad confirms that these pseudo religionists are heading toward the most obnoxious place in the universe after the completion of their spiritual master business, which they conduct simply for sense gratification.<o:p></o:p> ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………….<o:p></o:p> While also abandoning Bhagavad-gita 9.30: <o:p></o:p> "Even if one** commits the most abominable action, if he is engaged in devotional service he is to be considered saintly because he is properly situated in his determination." <o:p></o:p> { . . . **Sometimes, however, it may be seen that a person in Kåñëa consciousness commits some act which may be taken as most abominable socially or politically. . . . }<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> Kirtananda was ex-communicated and 99% of his admirers left him, including me.<o:p></o:p> Bhavananda was thrown-out too and 100% of his admirers left him, including me.<o:p></o:p> I don't see the faults in Iskcon that everyone is ranting about.<o:p></o:p> "By the mercy of God we get Guru, and, by the mercy of Guru we Get God."<o:p></o:p> Do you worship God, even in a small insignificant, common, and lowly way? If so, then when you attain initiation by a Guru—why does your mode of worship change? <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> ( 'Do you worship Money, even in a small insignificant, common, and lowly way? If so, then, when you attain a lottery-winning by the State—why does your mode of worship change?')<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> The position of who is Guru is stated in most simplistic terms in the Isopanisad Introduction: <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> ". . . the Vedic injunction is that one must approach—the word “compulsory” is used—a bona fide spiritual master, a guru. . . . "<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> —[bhaktajan's note: the same principle applies in all institutions and spheres of learning where completion of the course ends with, 'Certification'] <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> . . . And what is the qualification of a spiritual master? <o:p></o:p> He is one who has rightly heard the Vedic message from the right source. <o:p></o:p> And he must practically be firmly established in Brahman. <o:p></o:p> These are the two qualities he must have. Otherwise he is not bona fide.<o:p></o:p> This Kåñëa consciousness movement is completely authorized from Vedic principles. <o:p></o:p> In the Bhagavad-gétä Kåñëa says, “The actual aim of Vedic research is to find out Kåñëa.”<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> So, I ask you'all: "Have y'all heard the Vedic message from the right source. <o:p></o:p> And y'all must practically be firmly established in Brahman???????????????????????????" <o:p></o:p>

Thank you for posting it. ys, Bhaktajan PS: I believe that we were originally in Vaikuntha and that we desired to see what it is like to be 'the lord of all we survey' and thus fell into the mahatattva and we have been taking repeated births in the material world since time immemorial until the 'covering' of false ego is removed by 're-linking' with our sva-rupa (original spiritual bodies) by way of Bhakti-yoga by way of the mercy of a Bonefide devotee of Krishna. When I go to the temple I associate and chant and dance and take darshan etc in the company of other devotees--not in the company of Gurus, Sannyasis and High Priests. Taking prasadam is usually done in the company of hordes of people I have never been introduced to--so the usual association I get is with regular devotees of all levels of advancement, and this is most satisfying and enlightening and enlivening to me and I have no missgivings about it all. <o:p></o:p>

Skip Srila Prabhupada's purports to keep the story-line flowing. Even if, at first, one is hesitant to hear the narrations of the Bhagavatam--they will not be able to resist listening once the story is underway and they have grasp the initial progession of a story. All the Puranic histories strike a primodial chord in the recesses of the heart and soul--once they do listen attentively the next phse you must pre-prepare for is that you must do such readings on a regular basis, a set time every so often as is practical--but you must keep to some regulated schedule lest you loose the oppurtunity to spread the nectar. happy veggimite dreams, Bhaktajan

  14. "Varnasrama-dharma": "Varna-ashrama-dharma" is the nomenclature for types of work & duties. The world is already divided into these catagories--it is already 'Real'--there is no manufacturing of manipulating it, just recognizing it as it already really exists, in flux. ...................................................................................... Varna = [lit. color], occupational work, duties, civic responsibilites. [brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya, Shudra are all titles of catagories of workers.] Ashrama = [lit. shelter], Brahmacarya, Grihasta, Vanaprasta, and Sannyasa are all sequential stages of life all of the above Varna(s) proceed through from childhood Brahmacarya to old age Vanaprasta. Sannyasa is sought by people looking to live a life as a "dedicated monk who preaches to the greater world outside of his comfortable retirement bungalow". ...................................................................................... A person seeks the title of sannyasa on his own volition: --as a status symbol, or, --as a final test of faith in Krishna promise to protect the monk, or, --as a fullfillment of one's obiedence to his own sastric tradition. If a sannyasa is to be faulted for falling down then the faultfinder neglects the words of Krishna in the Gita where Krishna addresses the contingency observance for a fallen master of spiritual life. Those who have fallen from sannyasa in Iskcon's (as yet, after 40 years, still considered) 'formulative years' did so for reason we know all to well: Lust. Little lust, big lust, middle lust, micro & macro lust, subtle lust, gross lust and even stupid-stupid lust. Youthfull ethusiasm by long time Brahmacaryis were Iskcon's canidates who had applied for Sannyasi Vows. There is no oversite commitee for allowing one to ask for initiation [from another established sannyasi] into the sannyasi order. He, who is with out lust, have already thrown many stones repeatdly!! I could be a guru. You could self-elect to be a guru. But no! "He" has been elected to be a Guru and we are waiting to cut off his ego lest he steal our investment of respect and veneration in him. YET, WE ARE BEING ROBBED BY ALL SORTS OF KARMI MAFIOSO FROM ALL SIDES. WITH ONE HAND WE DE-SPOIL OUR OWN HOUSE WHILE ALL AROUND US WE ARE BEING CHOKED BY WHITE COLLAR/STREET-LEVEL/GOVERNMENT-LEVEL/GEOLOGICAL/POLITICAL/COMMERCIAL CHEATING BY MISCRANTS--AND YOU PROPOSE THAT THE REMEDIES ARE TO BE FOUND IN POLICING RENUNCIATES. --Ha Ha Ha! Retired elders being guided by Rolling stones while they worry about un-employment and the price of bread. Best regards, bhaktajan
  15. 1) Rasa-bhasa: Mixing of non-compatible devotional sentiments [or also, mixing devotional sentiments obviously 'non-compatible material moptivations'] -- This is the danger and also this is the spiritual test that one undergoes during visits to a place of pilgrimage (a tirtha). 2) Your girl friend: This potentially has the ingrediance of 'Rasa-bhasa' --but then if both of you fully know the significance of visiting a tirtha, then it may be without drawbacks. The male partner can exercise the dharma of protecting his better half while actually praying that Krishna shield them from undue incidents. 3) A little spoken secret pattern: Men who introduce & bring 'woman friends' to the Temple with the intention of cultivating the woman's appreciation of Bhakti-yoga, almost always loose connection to each other. It has been statistically the pattern that a male [and especially a woman] bhakti neophyte should only seek a mate amongst other devotees who themselves, on their own volition, independently have seeked out the rules and regulations and sadhana of Bhakti-yoga. The arrainged pairing of Spouses by absentee gurus etc has also not proved 100% effective--but one can pursue this one's self, but all the time those persons must be in good standing with-in the sanga's overview. your useless servant, Bhaktajan
  16. This is the correct understanding: Brahmin – A person who uses only his brain [intellectualist, an Intelligentsia] --as a means of making a living [vocation]. Kshatriya - A person who administrates the functioning of commercial, legistlative and civic affairs--as a means of making a living [vocation]. Vaishya – A person who is a merchant; salesman; buisnessman; manufacturer; contractor--as a means of making a living [vocation]. Shudra – A person who is an artisan; journeyman; craftsperson; artist; musician; dancer --as a means of making a living [vocation]. ys, Bhaktajan [if this reflects on how you were not accecpted into your first choice for your college entrance application--don't cry!!!! Do not cry if this means you should go study elsewhere--there are plenty of other fish tanks in the world]. PS: Why do most of these posting seem like covert efforts to propagate mis-information, ie: Christians, Muslims and independent de-programers (Rtvik & IRM'ers) saying in-direct derogatory statements against a monastic order designed for monks to learn proper ettiquete for future civic welfare. If there are ass-holes [baying hounds] in Iskcon they will be evacuated--don't cry! They will be evacuated and then you can attend to your real heart-felt concerns [what ever in hell that may be].
  17. Vairagya is easy--all things are vairagya as we work. We must be good managers. Thus, we make dasily lists of tasks to be completed, Goals to be acheived --all with the long term overall schedule in mind, one step at a time, one task at a time. The Intelligence is the Boss and the mind is the sudra who must be overseen and enlivened to continue to work without complaint. There is an American Book "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus", by Dr. John Gray. The author [a marriage counselor] has explained that men have the trait of solving problems by, "going into a cave while pondering a given dilemma--and not returning until he has attained a resolution that he has confidence in. And only then does he pronounce his plan of action." But on the other hand a women, the author has explained, has the trait of solving problems by, "Talking aloud the mental train of thoughts, thus she is thinking-aloud the calculas of resolving a problem--and when she has come to the concluding plan of action her 'thinking-aloud' ends." I agree with this assessment of methods of problem solving ---I think that the two methods are done by both genders and thus it is simply a maxim of types of "problem-solving-thinking" that is pointed to in the above book, but I do think that as a good manager one must recognize these ways of tackling problem solving and use this in-side knowledge to our advantage. ys, Bhaktajan
  18. Attention Crumudgens, bridge trolls, vagabonds, wannbe gremlins, and hobgoblins: Krishna's devotees [irregardless of what the stadium brawling hooligans shout] will be provided for, they always have and will always be protected and given full facility via Krishna's mercy and the devotees auspicious merit and righteous authority to be provided for by prakriti and the Devatas and also by Destiny Personified --all good will come to such devotees who (seemingly have been done wrong as reported third-hand over the internet by anonomous parties). Pay your taxes and die. These are your alloted duties. "Send a cow to slaughter" is your accusation?????????? "Shameless"??? Preachers of Krishna's very Existance are not good enough for you??? 'Puffed-up' has reached a new definition when used by 'Mr. No-bodies'. The Iskcon sphere of influence is beyond your privy. The ambrosia available at each Iskcon sponsored event must be reviewed by you?? Your opinion equates to Newspaper Cartoon editorials --for your self-amusement. There are many younger legions of new comers to the temple. They all deserve the opportunity to relish the darsan of Vaisnava life without the pissed-corner-drunk bellowing about 'how it never was and could have been' get a life and make a difference for the benefit of others life-goals, Bhaktajan

  20. Sri Isopanisad Purport to Mantra 10: <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:" /><o:p></o:p> . . . Some materialistic politicians in spiritual guise decry the present system of civilization as satanic, but unfortunately they do not care about the culture of real knowledge as it is described in the Bhagavad-gétä. Thus they cannot change the satanic situation.<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> In the modern society, even a boy thinks himself self-sufficient and pays no respect to elderly men. Due to the wrong type of education being imparted in our universities, boys all over the world are giving their elders headaches. <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> Thus Çré Éçopaniñad very strongly warns that the culture of nescience is different from that of knowledge. The universities are, so to speak, centers of nescience only; consequently scientists are busy discovering lethal weapons to wipe out the existence of other countries. University students today are not given instructions in the regulative principles of brahmacarya (celibate student life), nor do they have any faith in any scriptural injunctions. Religious principles are taught for the sake of name and fame only and not for the sake of practical action. <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> Thus there is animosity not only in social and political fields but in the field of religion as well. Nationalism has developed in different parts of the world due to the cultivation of nescience by the general people. . . . The span of human life is scheduled for about a hundred years, although it is gradually decreasing to twenty or thirty years. Thanks to the culture of nescience, befooled men have created their own nations within these planets in order to grasp sense enjoyment more effectively for these few years. Such foolish people draw up various plans to render national demarcations perfectly, a task that is totally impossible. <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> Yet for this purpose each and every nation has become a source of anxiety for others. More than fifty percent of a nation’s energy is devoted to defense measures and thus spoiled. No one cares for the cultivation of real knowledge, yet people are falsely proud of being advanced in both material and spiritual knowledge. <o:p></o:p> Çré Éçopaniñad warns us of this faulty type of education, and the Bhagavad-gétä gives instructions as to the development of real knowledge. <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> This mantra states that the instructions of vidyä (knowledge) must be acquired from a dhéra. A dhéra is one who is not disturbed by material illusion. No one can be undisturbed unless he is perfectly spiritually realized, at which time one neither hankers nor laments for anything. A dhéra realizes that the material body and mind he has acquired by chance through material association are but foreign elements; therefore he simply makes the best use of a bad bargain.<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> The material body and mind are bad bargains for the spiritual living entity. The living entity has actual functions in the living, spiritual world, but this material world is dead. As long as the living spiritual sparks manipulate the dead lumps of matter, the dead world appears to be a living world. <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> Actually it is the living souls, the parts and parcels of the supreme living being, who move the world. The dhéras have come to know all these facts by hearing them from superior authorities and have realized this knowledge by following the regulative principles.<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> To follow the regulative principles, one must take shelter of a bona fide spiritual master. The transcendental message and regulative principles come down from the spiritual master to the disciple. Such knowledge does not come in the hazardous way of nescient education. <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> One can become a dhéra only by submissively hearing from a bona fide spiritual master. Arjuna, for example, became a dhéra by submissively hearing from Lord Kåñëa, the Personality of Godhead Himself. Thus the perfect disciple must be like Arjuna, and the spiritual master must be as good as the Lord Himself. This is the process of learning vidyä (knowledge) from the dhéra (the undisturbed).<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> An adhéra (one who has not undergone the training of a dhéra) cannot be an instructive leader. Modern politicians who pose themselves as dhéras are actually adhéras, and one cannot expect perfect knowledge from them. They are simply busy seeing to their own remuneration in dollars and cents. How, then, can they lead the mass of people to the right path of self-realization? <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> Thus one must hear submissively from a dhéra in order to attain actual education.<o:p></o:p> ………………………………………………………………………………………….<o:p></o:p>
  21. The first birth of a Jiva in the material Brahmanda is the birth of Brahma, the great-great grand father of all the living entities. Krsna is the seed giving father of all living entities. Brahma was 'very pious' and thus his birth--he was given the Vedas directly from Krsna's Mouth--he still is subject to thinking he is independent from Krsna [due to association with the material world en toto]. Brahma's piety and position in the material world is not so advantageous to the Jiva's destiny. The first born being in the material world came first before other souls were born. "The spirit soul has real, living responsiblities to perform in the spiritual world" but now as long "as the spirit soul manipulates the dead matter of the material world--the material world appears to be alive" The spirit soul is what activates and moves the material elements. The Brahmajyoti is the covered illumination of God's all-prevassive presence. The soul acquires his human position from pious acts that have acculturated the soul to a material body with responsibilities. Now get to work, Bhaktajan

Start your math, you have the requisite experience and enthusiasm. Any misgivings you have will be vanquished by following your bliss and becoming self-actualized: Open your own Yoga-ashram and take the helm. There are so many new comers for you to welcome to the Vedas etc. Best wishes to your destiny to be an old wise guru 'who sees the truth'. ys, Bhaktajan PS: remember the self-empowerment slogan: "A mana-buddhi is a terrible thing to waste"

  25. Dear Mr. Begger,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:" /><o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> Allow me to paraphrase:<o:p></o:p> ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> As many quotes that are posted and how many times one write this, I believe that the great majority of Srila Prabhupada's followers on both sides of the origin issue would agree with this. <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> It is said that Krsna never leaves Vrindavana (vrindavanam parityajya padam ekam na gacchati). Padam means the lotus feet of the Lord not that of the conditioned jiva souls. Every where it is always stated in the Gaudiya Vaisnava sastras that the baddha jivas (conditioned souls) leave Vrndavana-Goloka and then return Back home, Back to Godhead. <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> All we are doing is taking statements of Srila Prabhupada about the origin of the soul and about how our fallen condition is like a dream, and together, presenting the philosophy as it is and then posting it with Srila Prabhupada's face on the label. Very nice service. Remember: The Jagat-Guru has spoken it, printed-it distributed it, purported it: "Back home, Back to Godhead" <o:p></o:p> …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> PS: The Best Little Rascal's episode was the "Building of the Fire-Truck" <o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> Ys,<o:p></o:p> Bhaktajan<o:p></o:p>
