Hi all, With all due respect to everyone's freedom of speech and thought, I completely agree with Nisha's comments. Isn't the query here quite similar to fixing of an auspicious date for marriage. Why don't we normally question that too, saying oh well! the marriage will last if it has to... How would choosing an auspicious date help?! Even in cases of divorce, a bad muhurta for wedding is blamed as the cause for the mishap. In fact if we look at this whole forum only and all other such, instead of suggesting remedies to people, shouldn't we all be just telling everyone, "well only what GOD willing will happen, why bother about future or remedies"? I feel there's nothing wrong in trying to find a better time for child birth if we can. For ex. if we can avoid neecha moon etc. some small nitty gritties. i am just a learner. even I don't know much about such things but if its mildly possible then why not? For the rest, as our own father-to-be mentioned here that he does realize its ultimately god's will at the end as in what if his wife delivers before the day etc... Hey Riaz, Take it easy. I don't know what makes you think that amateur or anyone who participates in this thread is trying to ridicule this GREAT SCIENCE. And as far as good intentions are concerned, I guess amateur has proved himself well by helping so many people in such a short period of time. I myself am an economist. and we makes jokes regarding economics concepts and terms at times but that does not mean at all that we are ridiculing the great subject itself. Take it easy man. Hi there, I am a learner and want to try my best to help you here. Your chart did baffle me and I was trying to find out why the dasha of the lord of fortune, Sun is not giving you any success. I think it may be cause that it is extremely weak because, one it is in a dusthana and two, debilitated in Navamsa. I would advice you to do Surya namaskar on sundays. Read aditya Hridyam on sunday mornings too facing Sun. It should strengthen your house of fortune. 12th house is for loss but it is also for foreign country. Your house has strong indications of settlement abroad. Sun, Mercury and Jupiter are forming very good yoga there. But again it is afflicted by teh presence of inauspicious Venus. Read Durga chalisa on fridays if possible. Or just chant OM Laxmi Narayano Namah as many times on fridays. Again 2nd house lord in 11th and that too exalted - good dhan yoga. Exchange between 1st lord and 12th lord is very undesirable. though mars as 5th lord of education is well placed in 1st. Its very good that you read Hanuman Chalisa everyday. Your lagnesh is very weak in degrees in rashi chart but gains strength by exaltation in Navamsa. You can further strengthen it by putting Kesar Tilak on thursdays. Dear Santosh, With all due sympathy for the situation you are in, I think you need to have bit more understanding for your wife. For what I understand from your post is that with your baby's condition and your parents being old, as you said, I am not surprised that your wife declines to go to your parent's house in your absence. As a boy, it may not be possible for you to understand her own needs in this situation. And trust me, I am not patronising. My own son has been through this similar condition but thankfully my husband was with me 24 hrs 7 days a week which made great lot difference to the care and attention my son and I received. I am sure here your wife is right in not going there, sply since you are not there. and obviously if she goes to live with your parents, apart from being a single parent for a difficult child she will have to take up the home responsibilities as well. I would have had a completely different view if she had declined to join you in USA:smash: And then as far as looks are concerned, my dear I hope you only said that out of frustration and you didn't mean it. Cause as a female I can tell you that its the most Male Chauvinistic Statement anyone can ever say and that too for his wife he married on his will. Saturn may be auspicious as yogakaraka but still as a natural malefic, it has great potential of adversely affecting the significations of the 4th house. About concentration, well my dear, that always has to come through your will-power and motivation. After all studying is never the best of the entertaining activities we ever undertake:) . Hi there, you have just started Mercury antardasha which is not particularly auspicious for you despite being involved in a very good dhana yoga in lagna. worship Lord vishnuji. read Vishnu sahsranam on wednesday. You have one of the best yogas involving exchange of 1st lord and 10th lord with extremely auspicious Jupiter sitting in 10th house. Job and career in long run would be extremely good. The only problems come from rahu in 10th house and mer in 1st. I wish the learned members here can advice you further on this. Please don't wear ruby. Sun is already well placed in a kendra in friend's house conjunct friend, lord of trikona. one, you don't neeed to wear it. two, without expert's opinion, the decision can back fire in equal probablity. But before I start, I must tell you that I went through all your advisory posts to "unsungfame" before coming to this thread. Now, what confused me completely was the confidence with which you gave the gem-related advice to him with your own half-baked experiment based knowledge:confused: As I mentioned in my other post, I am not much knowledgeable on Gems but do understand 2 basic rules with regards to Gems- 1) You must never wear a gem for planet who lords any of the 6th , 8th and 12th houses. 2) You can wear a gem for the lord of trikona (given that condition 1 is fulfilled). hence, I understand that you should not wear Diamond. infact as lagna lord it is well placed in 4th house of happiness, more so being a natural benefic(and not a malefic) and functional neutral here. The problem I see is that the lord Sun is placed in 12th to own house ie. 3th house, closely conjunct with rahu- not at all good in anyway. Remedies- Do Surya Namaskar to rising sun and read Aditya Hridyam to give strength to Sun. The moon in dusthana is not good for Moon. Must pray Lord Shiva on mondays. 11H of Income benefits from aspect from its lord. Plus it is part of a very auspicious dhana yoga in a trikona- what more to ask!!! 2H of wealth is good with lord in own house. Only problem Mars- very inauspicious. Must pray Hanuman ji. Do charities. (Reading Hanuman chalisa can be good and Correct me if I am wrong here but I think that by doing so you do not strengthen Mars- as said by you in another post- but ask for forgiveness and propitiate Mars) This will also help the rajayoga in 5th house which is aspected by Mars.

As what I understand is that wearing Rahu's stone is more difficult to assess than stones for other planets. In fact, if it is not advisable here, it may rather be causing harm to your mental peace (being placed in 4th house of happiness) and job prospects (its conjunction with lord of 10 house of job and career). Else, your lords of houses of income(11H) and wealth(2H) are well-disposed. But both getting aspect from the lord of house of loss(12L Mars). Must read Hanuman chalisa to propitiate Mars. 3) Lagnesh venus, though sitting in own house, is not very well placed in 6th house. I would advice that you worship mata laxmiji on fridays all your life. You must read hanuman chalisa everyday. For its effective results, you will also have to abandon alcohol. But before everything, you will have to abandon your negativity and start afresh. Have an introspective session on your strengths and weaknesses. Your Moon and Jupiter are extremely powerful, and fortunately both are aspecting your house of marriage. also, Sun and mercury are forming an auspicious yoga there. Though it gets neechbhanga, but I think it still feels weak in a difficult house. You must worship lord Shiva on Mondays- read Shiv Chalisa, chant "Om Namoh Shivaya" as many times as possible. 2) Mars is a highly inauspicious planet for you, weakening moon further by sitting in Moon's house; conjoins Jupiter, lord of 10th house of job and career. Further saturn sitting in the 10H , though lord of 9H of fortune but afflicted by the joint lordship of 8th house as well. Both can be responsible for delays and disappointments. You must read Hanuman chalisa every day sply tuesday and saturdays. Do charities on tuesdays. In both, the saving grace comes from aspect from exalted Jupiter. Read Vishnu Sahsranama on thursdays to further strengthen Jupiter for improving 10H significations and moon. I am not an expert but since 4th Lord is exalted in own house, I would think that you must try to settle down near your birth place only. Dear Atul, The girl is not mangalik but there are quite a few afflictions in the chart. I would broadly categorize them as afflictions to Moon (creating mental troubles) and afflictions to 7H. The Moon is very badly placed in the 6H (in both rasi and navamsa)afflicted by nodes, further aspected by inauspicious saturn (7L and 8L). with 2 malefics sitting in its 1H, moon is further weakened. the only saving grace comes from aspect of Jupiter on the 1H, which unfortunately is debilitated. This weakens the functioning of Moon as lagna lord as well as karaka for self. Further she is running the dasha of moon. Things should definately improve in the next dasha of yogakaraka Mars, which is very well-placed in a powerful trikona in friend's house, starting this year end. About her marriage, we can see that the lord is not well placed in the house of loss with enemy Sun and further afflicted by nodes. The only compensatory factor is the aspect from yogakaraka mars. The karaka is debilitated. and both the 7H and Jupiter gets aspect from 2 functional malefics. For the child issue, there are absolutely no afflictions on the 5H and the 5L is very well placed in the 9H. The only problem maybe the aspect on Mars by saturn which may be delaying. But perhaps the husband's chart should be studied for that. Anyways, again the next dasha of mars should definately bring good news. One thing that intimidates me in this chart is the mutual aspect of the most auspicious (Mars) and the most inauspicious planet (Saturn). It may be a good idea to give a full-blown attempt at IAS exams:) You are currently running Saturn- Venus period till oct 2010. Unfortunately none of the planets are auspicious for you but that shouldn't dishearten you. Results may be delayed but they shall definately come. Read Hanuman Chalisa daily. Dear Krishnaji, Your venus antardasha will start in oct 2011 which should bring good results. Though I am tempted to think that ketu antardasha from oct 2010 should also improve things. In any case, it may feel like a long time but unfortunately that's what it is like. I would advice that you at least take this as a timely warning. and get into only those ventures where the calculated risk is minimum. Precaution is the best remedy. Looking at your horo, I personally don't think you should put your money in speculative activities. (other astrologers opinions may differ as I am still far from being an expert- but just trying my best here!) There are mixed indications on that front to me. In kendradhipati dosha, one point of view is that the ownership of the 7th (maraka) house makes the planet inauspicious/malefic. But I believe (and I can be 100% wrong here) that this dosha makes the planet weak and not inauspicious as it still has the ownership of 2 very important houses for the native(unlike other malefics owning the dusthana). Prayers are always the best form of remedy where we can ask for forgiveness from our malefic planets and kindness from the benefics. Dear Atul, Thanks for all the respect("respectedji"). I am just a learner like yourself. The way I look at jupiter here is that it gets Kendradhipati Dosha by being the lord of 2 kendras. Now according to my knowledge, such dosha gets cancelled when the planet is placed in trikona. Then for career related problems, my logic goes as strengthening the lord of the house of career(10H), Jupiter. The same logic would go for its lordship for house of marriage(7H). But I do realize that some astrologers don't think likewise. In any case, reading Vishnu Sahsranama may not have any ill effects. and should help. Though the native may be adviced not to do kesar tilak in the light of this confusion:confused: Please tell if you think other wise.
