Hi Mahesh, I am a learner and would try to answer within the realms of my knowledge and experience. I don't know why you are thinking that saturn is the culprit. Infact it is making a highly auspicious rajayoga with the exalted lagna and 4th house lord, mercury. I feel it may be Mars creating the trouble as it is the inauspicious lord of 6th and 11th house. PLease read Hanuman Chalisa/Sunder kaand. Donate red colured food/clothes. You can strengthen Jupiter by putting kesar tilak on thursdays, read vishnu sahsranama. In your dashamsha, the 10th lord is debilitated in 12th house of loss with 12th house lord sitting in 10th. Here too Mars is aspecting Sun from 6th house. It may be good if you can pray lord Surya on morning after bath. Read Aditya Hridayam if possible. Rest, never give up, keep trying. You've never tried enough until you succeed... Hi Amateur, You gave your first analysis according to libra lagna But in your second post, you seem to be considering gemini ascendant. Please check. I have done my analysis on the basis of libra lagna where saturn becomes yogakaraka, hence auspicious. Also, I believe that though mercury and venus are conjunct exalted sun but they are fairly away from the Sun to be combust. Am I right here? or exaltation can have some role here. Abhay, Rahu is a malefic, hence we wouldn't be worried if he's weak. Rest, I think rahu is doing well in Jupiter's house. I don't see much concern there. According to me, the saturn period should be overall better than current dasha as Saturn is much more auspicious for u than jupiter. Still, I owe upto any mistake I may have committed here and apologize. About your experience with sade saati, can you say if there were any more negative experiences you had? Best

Hi Abhay, Thanks for your reply. I would think the change in job is due to the lord of 10th house(job) in 8th(change). But being exalted, I would expect the change in job to be for a betterment each time(in which case we shouldn't really call it a "painful" sade sati). Please comment. Can I ask if the said change was somewhere 1997 -2000/2002-- just asking for own learning . Frankly, I would expect some changes on the job front coming year as well. But then I am just a learner and can be as wrong as anyone best and regards

Hi Abhay, Despite my limited knowledge and experience, my gut feeling says that the culprit is not saturn but Mars (and maybe Jupiter to some extent). I have known a case where a person was running the mahadasha of his maraka along with sade saati. and he thought all his problems were due to saturn while I thought that the 7 year period of his maraka mars (coinciding perfectly with 7 and a half yr period of sade saati) was the problem. I hope the experts here can spare a few moments to guide both of us. Now the reasons for my assertion: 1) As a yogakaraka, saturn is extremely beneficial for you. even though it is placed in the 8th house. 2) At the time of your birth, you seem to be running the sade saati. But again in your case too, you were simultaneously runnning the dasha of mars, which is a very strong maraka for you. and it is sitting in the mooltrikona rashi of saturn. 3) Jupiter, though a natural benefic, is a functional malefic for you again sitting in another house of saturn. 4) Both mars and jupiter as malefics for you are not only sitting in either house of saturn but are also aspecting saturn. I would think this is detrimental to the working of saturn in giving good results but am still not convinced that it should be bad for you. As I said about your first sade saati, even your second sade saati fell during the mahadasha of Jupiter which as I said is again a malefic for you. Hi atul, I am a learner like you and would like to welcome you to the forum and compliment you for your wonderful effort in helping people. If you don't mind, I want to share my own experience here. I too have an exalted sun with combust mercury and ketu in the 6th house. My experience is that sun does best in the 6th house as it destroys the house it sits in ie. competitors and enemies. I ran the mahadasha of sun during the period of my primary education. during that entire time, I always topped and enjoyed extreme fame and success (may be sounding weird but true!!!) And after that though I have had education from the best of the institutions and have done very well in life, there was hardly an occasion in my life, when I could have the same experience. Though at the same time I must mention, that during the Sun mahadasha, my (combust) mercury significations did suffer a lot as I was extremely timid and shy. My confidence levels were down zero. it was only in the next mahadasha of moon that I underwent a complete personality change -- for good. Would appreciate your comments... best and regards

Hi Abhay, Saturn is your best benefic sitting with exalted moon, aspected by jupiter (and mars). Why should you be worried with shani mahadasha. I would think that it should mainly be good, if not best, given that saturn is sitting in a dusthana. Anyways, generalization of a 19 yrs dasha is not possible and a lot depends on sub and sub-sub periods too. How was you experience in past sade saatis. Please share if possible. Dear Sir, I would agree with ayush ji that Venus AD should be extrememly good for you. Menawhile, all I can say is that you should be very careful with your investments- put in the money in the safest possible avenue. Don't take risky ventures. Wait for a better dasha. I personally don't believe in gems (and one shouldn't wear them at all if there's slightest unsurety). Prayers are always the best way out. Rest we have to give in to our karmic chakras and destiny. Else, astrology is always there to guide us in best and worst... If you do feel fear of an evil eye, do gayatri mantra japas 108 times for 40 days regularly for your peace of mind. You can take advice from a priest who can help you find the relevant chapter in durga saptashati. Best and regards

Namaskar Krishnaji, I am a learner and I want to suggest a few remedies that I hope the experts here would approve of. For 10 lord Saturn, read Hanuman Chalisa preferably every day as it has become very weak by exchange with the 6th lord. For propitiating the negative effects of Mercury, you can pray lord vishnu on wednesdays. It'll be good if you can do the following as well: 1) Donate green vegetables to animals on wednesdays 2) donate green clothes and green food(like daal) on wednesdays 3) Do charity for small girls. The remedy suggested by vaibhav ji is apparently for rahu which is very good and can be done everyday. I wish the experts will correct me wherever necessary... Best and regards

Hi there, I am a learner of the divine subject and wish to be of some help. I don't see any major afflictions to your house of marriage so as to approve of what you wrote. On the contrary your lord of the house of marriage is exalted in 5th house- very good. According to me there are slight afflictions like the aspect of mars and rahu on the house of marriage and aspect of saturn on the lord. But then i would think that none of mars and saturn are too bad for you. And then noone has a perfect horoscope anyways!!! And as far as the timing of marriage is concerned I am sure you may agree that this is not the time to worry about it Apart from this, the only problem I see is the heavy affliction to your moon which might have made you a "worried person". If possible, please pray lord shiva on mondays regularly. I am very sure that it'll help. Rest, don't worry. we only get what we deserve and are destined to, not undermining the importance of good karmas and free will. Hi Deepak, I am a learner of the subject and can only answer your query within the realms of my limited knowledge. Hope my advice will be of some help. You are running the mahadasha of Moon since 2005. Now moon happens to be the lord of your 8th house sitting in 5th house of mind. Also, it is the significator of mind. it is already not very favourable as 8th Lord plus the aspect from saturn and mars doesn't ease things either. I am sure you must be going through an extremely difficult phase mentally. I would advice you to pray Lord Shiva everyday sply on mondays. Do meditation. Take this as a passing phase. don't think it is going to last forever. I think you should do moon related donations too but would prefer the more learned members here to advice on this. Now I may not be right but it seems to me that your horoscope seems to show some foreign connections sply with respect to work. but am not sure if the current dasha is capable of giving such results. There are nice rajayogas and dhana yogas which will definitely fructify but only one has to wait for the right dasha. I don't see much concern for the job and career in future. even thought the malefic Venus is there in the 10th house but then its debilitated hence weak. Don't know if it can still afflict the house. But as karaka for marriage it may not be good. Hence, it may be good if you pray lord Durga maa on fridays. Read durga chalisa followed by the aarti. You are not mangalik. Can't think of more. Hi vipin, You were going through rahu dasha and antardasha but now it's over and you have started jupiter antardasha now- which should feel better than last 3 yrs. for "depressed emotions", its gud if you can worship lord shiva on mondays. But your moon is exalted though in a dusthana. You can chant "om namoh Shaivaya" on mondays as many times as you can. though am not an expert at this, but still feel that love marriage may be unlikely. it would be gud if you can start own thread for further queries- Vivek may not be appreciating this regards
