Hi, I found a very nice and simple remedy sometime back for anyone who suspects that he may be under the effect of black magic. All one must do is chant GAYATRI MANTRA 108 times for 40 days continuously. It is such a simple and inexpensive remedy. So no need to spend thousands trying to find out if someone has done black magic on us or how to ward it off. The lord of house of marriage, Mercury is sitting in own house conjunct lord of house of conflicts and in papkartari yoga. Dear Raja, For marriage, you must pray Hanuman ji on tuesdays and saturdays. Also the karaka for marriage Venus is very weak, though well placed. You must pray maa laxmi on fridays. As per my limited knowledge, the current period is favourable for marriage prospects. So the above recommneded prayers must help. This is also important as the 8th house of happiness from marriage is also afflicted. I think you must be doing well in your job. you didn't mention if your father has some health concerns. Dear Narayan, I am a learner of the subject and just went through your thread. Firstly, I am really sorry for the loss of your mom, and second for your failure in civil services. Its indeed very unfortunate that a person with such humble intentions could not make it. Narayan I cannot really provide the solution to your problem. Rather as a learner I am confused why even in the presence of such strong rajayoga and best form of dharam karmadhipati yoga, you did not see success. But I think a part of solution may have been suggested by Classicji. The Venus is in last degrees in 4th house so if it is effectively taken as operating from the 5th house, it considerably afflicts the strong dhana yoga. As Venus in your horoscope is 6th and 11th(6th from 6th) lord, hence causing obstructions in your path of success. Propitiation of Venus may help in progress in career prospects. Also, according to me, the main problem in your horoscope is your badly afflicted Moon which is not only debilitated in main rashi chart but afflicted by mars and saturn in Navamsha too. HI there, The presence of the lord of marriage, mercury in the house itself is good but then its association with mars and aspect from saturn (both natural malefics) may have caused the delay. I would sincerely advice you to pray Hanuman ji every day, sply tuesdays and saturdays. Read Hanuman Chalisa. By the way, you are mangalik and must try to marry a mangalik only. The presence of jupiter and saturn in 10th house is a strong dhana yoga. Plus jupiter from here is aspecting its own house of comforts and happiness, which is again very good. It should also be good for your job and career. Plus, the 10th lord is sitting in 10th to 10th house is good. I would advice you to follow Atulji's advice here on your other thread. Only thing I'll add here is that you please take your elder's and peer's advice while taking big decisions of your life As I mentioned before I am no expert at gems but my basic knowledge fails to understand the logic behind wearing 5 stones in one ring when most of the planets involved are inimical towards each other. Please please don't wear any other stone than pukhraj. It seems Ruby should also suit you as Sun is the lord of fortune well placed in 2nd house of wealth but again an expert's advice is quintessential:smash: . I can understand your desperation for early results but I would still insist that you submit yourself to GOD and pray sincerely. Your horoscope isn't the best of the kinds one can have but then who doesn't have problems in life. Let me first share my thoughts on both- and this is cause I am a self-learner and correction from my dear friends will help me learn better:) 1) About giving Jal to Surya- I understood that giving jal to surya indicates an attempt by the native to reduce the heat he is getting from the hot sun. Now, by this logic the above should only be done for whom the sun is a malefic, hence the heat from sun is undesirable. Also, by same logic, anyone with a benefic Sun should be instead told to do surya namaskar, and never give jal. (Also refer to respected Sandhuji's post on astrological remedies:pray: ) 2) About giving charities for planets- According to my understanding, charities should be done for only malefic planets. But for benefics, the related food items may be distributed as prasada at holy places. While the former will help to propitiate the malefics, the latter will please the benefics. I would highly appreciate if you both can take out time to share your thoughts on above. I also request the senior members of the forum to help all learners like us with your kind guidance. I wish the experts will bless us with their guidance here. Your horoscope do have a few points of concern and sadly the dasha system isn't of much help either. first of all, you DO NOT have kaal sarpa yoga. Never ever believe an astrologer who tells you otherwise. Actually having known so, in future you should be able to distinguish between a genuine astrologer and a crook!!! I am no expert at gems but can tell pukhraj is good for you. But please please don't wear amethyst or gomedh ever. You ran the dasha of Venus from 1987 to 2007. Now Venus if the lord of disease in your chart. It becomes doubly deadly as it is not only 6th house lord but also lord of 11th house which is 6th from 6th. But since oct 2007 you are running the dasha of Sun which is one of the most auspicious planet for you. But the problem is that it is very closely afflicted by Rahu and Ketu. I would like to advice you to 1) do surya namaskar to Sun every day after taking bath. 2) Use copper utensils. 3) Pray lord Shiva on sundays. 4) Take blessings of parents, elders, holymen. Your sun is forming a nice dhana yoga as 9th lord of fortune sitting in 2nd house of wealth. The above should give strength to Sun to give favourable results. Your moon is very weak in degrees. It may be giving you an emotionally sensitive and confused mind. I would advice you to pray lord Shiva on mondays. Read Shiva chalisa. I feel that she must pray Maa Laxmi on fridays. Chant "Jai Maa Laxmi" as many times as possible on fridays. This is because though her hosue of marriage is very strong, the lord of this house is very ill-placed. It's lord Venus is sitting debilitated plus in 6th house which is 12th of the 7th house. Though it gets neechbhanga but still I insist that she pray laxmi maa for a happy married life. Unaspected by a benefic and instead getting malefic shani's 3rd aspect, I thought it must be giving stomach related ailments to your son. I would recommned that he should try to worship lord vishnu on thursdays- read Vishnu Sahsranama. Since Jupiter is also the lord of father's house, it will help improve relations there as well- though frankly, I don't see much problem there. I could see mixed signals there, hence, wanted to confirm. But no major probles for sure. Sun sits exalted in his 10th house which is excellent as Sun as lord of 2nd house forms a very powerful dhana yoga there, getting disha bal as well. Sun in 10th house usually signifies a government job. since none of parents is in govt job, I would think that he himself might in future work in a government organization- GOOD LUCK:) Saturn is very strong in his horoscope. Though a natural and functional malefic, it sits exalted in 4th house- good for marriage and will give luxuries and happiness. But it aspects some very important houses and planets.
