  1. Yes-this has to be the mercy of the Lord. As Lord Varadaraja told Ramanujacharya "If my devotee can't remember me at the time of death then I will remember my devotee." I don't know in what extent this was true for the Bhutto (only Paramatma knows) but this thought just came to my mind.
  2. Oh ok. Thanks anyway, though. Anyone else?
  3. Yes, I have already gotten the Uddhava Gita in Vrindavana.
  4. Can anyone help me find a song called "Emon ki kore?" I do not know who it is composed by, but I think it is probably Bhaktivinoda Thakura. Guruvani prabhuji? Murali Mohan prabhuji? Theist prabhuji? Mahak prabhuji? And everyone else? Can someone find this please...... PS- Not emon durmati but emon ki kore
  5. Ramanujacharya also was wondering the same thing. He recieved a dream of Lord Jagannatha explaining how he would soon appear as Chaitanya etc. Ramanujacharya was astounded and said that he had only seen a hint of Gauranga in the scriptures. Therefore you need not beg forgiveness, Shivamji. Lord Chaitanya is listed in Vishnu Sahasranam very clearly: suvarna varna hemango varangas candanangadi sannyasa krt-chamah santo nistha shanti parayanah In His early activities Lord Chaitanya comes as a householder. He has a golden complexion [suvarna varnah]. His limbs are very beautiful [vara-anga] and are smeared with sandalwood pulp [candana-angadi]. He has the appearance of molten gold [hema-anga]. Actually he is listed in many more places than this. Please check this website out: http://www.acbspn.com/godhead/gaura_1predictions.htm Thank you very much for your sincere question. I hope this helps. Your servant eternally, indulekhadasi
  6. Vaishnava aparadha: When is it ok to find fault with devotees? Answer: Never But first we have to determine proper Vaishnava behavior. And for that we need to be on a certain level ourselves. I say worry about ourselves first before finding fault with others!
  7. Jai! Wonderful, she has a bright future.
  8. Another fall of the jiva thread? This is not exactly Krishna katha, although it may be a spiritual topic. I hope I don't sound offensive but talking about this all the time is quite dry and boring.
  9. OMG, I didn't see this thread before. Let me go right now and sign the petition. Jai Ganga Ma.
  10. Mata Anasooya dhanya hui satiyo mein sati ananya hui karo hari darshan karo...hari darshan All glories to Mother Anasooya
  11. Krishna killed these wicked qualities who were in forms of demons such as Kesi, Aghasura, Trnavarta, Putana etc. JAI SRI KRISHNA!
  12. I think you should go to youtube, many of the songs are there- you can listen to them and watch them, too. But do let me know if there is a soundtrack.
  13. It is very possible, although I do not know how to predict such things. In my horoscope it says my dad might take sanyasa when he is 77 (woa, better not think about that- too painful).
  14. Yes, the cow is giving her blood (milk) freely. But is mother cow happy when we slaughter her for her meat? I think there is a big difference but anyone is free to agree with me.
  15. Thank you tackleberryji, I will look into it.
  16. I agree, vedicbot! Milk was heavily used in the olden times when there was hardly cow slaughter. Just because there is cow slaughter now doesn't make milk drinking bad.
  17. I liked that story of cleaning the place secretly, also. Narottam das thakura did the same thing for his guru maharaja Lokanatha Goswami. Jai Lochan das Thakura! Jai Chaitanya Mangal!
  18. Vipina Bihari The one who sports in the woods
  19. Yes, these things are real if you look at it in that sense. I feel I become really happy in the association of devotees in a nice kirtan! And I finally felt some real happiness when I went to Ekachakra dhama this year... but since I am not a pure devotee I soon fall into the material pool again with all my material desires. The material desires then put me into this reflection of happiness/distress.
  20. Material happiness- happiness derived from an earthly object, this type of happiness is always temporary and often doesn't satisfy a person enough Spiritual happiness- a different level of happiness entirely, derived from serving Krishna or one of his dear friends/servants, this happiness is ever lasting
  21. If you think about it it is really just a relief because the happiness is temporary.
  22. This mantra was OM NAMO NARAYANAYA Can you believe that back in Ramanujacharya's time this mantra was a secret? We are so indebted to Ramanujacharya for making this known to us.
