are u following the right procedure for doing it??? at the very least u need to do the kunjika stotram before u recite durga saptashati the procedure is given in th ebook published by geeta press and u can find an online version just google it u can find the entire audio and the procedure on this website also http://www.shreemaa.org/drupal/ if u want to get rid of problems and have money get it done by an expert first and then u can learn to do it yourself .....when u are relaively free of worries

man just go to sarangpur temple ... once ther it involves 3 simple steps 1 between 2.30 aand 4 go to the counter to the right of temple and register your name (cost 2 rupees only) (after that go to narayan kund and take a dip there ...its is a small place which is close by and rickshows take u there for 5 rupeees ....u willl find many people accompnying u there as all people with problems and who have registered will be required to take a dip there before they sit in the temple for problem removal 2 sit in the temple where the paath (problem removal process) is going on and when your name is called out go to the priest .... that is all u have to do the priest will remove the spirit 3 only if there is further need and if u have soem more problems u will be given a mantra to be done ..that is all

dont worry about what the demon says about the boon etc thats all bullshit ..the demons are just trying to discourage you ......i'll be there(sarangpur) on the 29 th of june...but anyways dont worry .. you should be ok once you go there ... if it is a spirit it will be removed... if some tantra or black magic u will be given a human mantra to do and over a period of time your problem will be solved u can also try doing narsimha kavach ... u can find it on youtube just search .... it willl be helpful ....

well it depends on how convinient it will be for you ... if u come to botad by train via mumbai then it is 20 -30 mins from botad to sarangpur ....it will be a more comfortable journey by train ...while from amdavad you'll have to come by bus so i guess train is better but make sure u dont fall asleep (sleep early the previous night and wake up early ) in train and keep chanting the verse I gave earlier so that the spirits are not able to distract you. if u come to amdavad its the last stop for many trains so no chance of missing your station ...also let me know if u are following the procedure and wether it is helping or not ... also tell me what date are u going there...

It is quite normal for such problems to increase when u start doing any sadhana....because these ghosts and spirits want you to stop your sadhana .......so dont be afraid ....keep doing your sadhana ..and without wasting time go to kasthabhanjandev mandir as soon as you can ...... take a friend along who will take care of u if such problems increase on the way ....and before leaving your house pray to kasthabhanjan dev(hanumanji) and ask him for protection..... also for sleeping you can try these things try it tonight and let me know if it worked .... in the evening when u do you prayer hanuman chaaleesa and bajrang baan light an oil lamp with lots of oil so that the diya lasts througout the night ... (do the dhoop deep and prayers in the same room where you sleep )then do a dhoop of chandan and gugal... if u dont have gugal dont worry only chandan will do as well ...just make sure that initially the windows are open when u do dhoop .... once there is a lot of smoke in the house close the windows so that the dhoop fragrance stays in the room and do some more dhoop to make sure the fragrance stays throughout the night.while sleeping chant these verses "bhoot pisach nikath nahi aave mahabir jab naam sunave" and go to sleep while chanting these verses ....also if you have a computer with speakers then in a very low volume keep playing a hanuman mantra in repeat mode in the room ..... let me know tomorrow if it helped ...... however the best thing is without delay go to the temple ....as that is a sure way to get rid of these things ....and yeah try keeping a vegetarian diet if possible and try avoiding onions and garlic.......... the reason is all the odours and fragrances like onion garlic chandan gugal etc attract different type of nagative shaktis and divine spirits and they eat through the fragrance ..at astral level .....and these negative spirits if they possess you then they like to eat meat and wine thru your physical body.......so hopefully the divine beings in you room will take care of these negative spirits and the chanting will keep them out of your body ..... let me know if it worked .... but u know what the best thing to do is ..... without worrying about anything simply go to sarangpur it is not difficult ...just go to Amdavad and from there ask anyone and they will guide u as to how to go to the temple as it is a very famous temple.food an accomodation is provided free(deposit required)..so go there for 1 or 2 days dont worry what time u reach there because people visit the temple 24 hours a day and are provided accomodation at anytime.

without getting into the science of it understand that you are doing rudram..which has some verses calling for the destruction of your enemies .....while making such a request to the istha it is important to follow rules and regulations ...also there are some confidential instructions which can be obtained only from a guru in order to do such practices.......depending on the method these verses are directed to 2 kinds of enemies ...internal and external.....what you r doing(not intentionally but it is implied due to your chosen method) is directing these verses to your external enemies ...which requires you to follow proper procedure.......simply a bhakti bhava will not do while making such violent request to your istha.........when such a request is made without the use of proper procedure ....it can often give negative results and can also do harm.........from what i know the problem cant be solved even if you switch to a calmer form of shiva as long as you continue to do rudram ..........its not a matter of bhakti ......hinduism is ritualistic because there is a science involved .....bhakti doesnt require eloborate rituals .......and rudram is part of veda which calls for eloborate rituals.................as far as gayatri is concerned (i am presuming you mean savitur gayatri) you can do it without any problems .........for rudram ..it is better to learn from a guru or a pundit ...

when you pray do dhoop and diya ..and from the bottom of your heart pray to prabhupada........you will have better chance of success ......however i cant guarantee.....it all depends on him....

if you worship a murti thinking it to be inert then you become inert object(which is a natural law what u think u become) .......but a murti is never inert ........whenever a murti is placed in a new temple a very eloborate ritual of "prana prathista " is undertaken to install the prana(life ) of devi/devata or avatara or guru into their respective murtis.....after such a ritual the prana of the respective deties live in the murtis and all murtis are to be treated as the deties themselves .......they SHOULD definately be offered food and clothes and treated as persons .........to know ..and if you want to test ..........make a dish of acceptable food (sweet dish will do,no meat onion or garlic).....and divide the prepared food into 2 parts ......and take one of the part and keep it in front of the temple murti ....and offer it to the diety with love an affection........ the other part dont affer it to anyone .....after some time try some prasadam which was offered to the diety and then try some sweet from the part which was not offered to the diety ........you will be able to tell the "Difference" in taste We are not contradicting your meaning. Our meaning is in the same line of your meaning and therefore you cannot contradict. Moreover the verse says that those who worship deities become deities etc., Therefore our meaning is in the line of the meaning of the verse. yajna is applied at several levels .....a vedic yajna is done for the gross macrocosm.....the gross world ......therefore gross food is burnt in gross fire ........krishna stopped yajna ....but teh very same krishna as Ram protected the sadhus when their vedic yajnas were being disturbed by demons ...in the treta yuga..........vedic yajna cures worldly ills in dwapar yuga ....because of inability to do the vedic yajnas properly ....the yajna is applied at gross microcosmic level ..(human body)....gross food is offered to gross microcosmic fire (in the human body ) ...dwapar is the age of temple worship .....and tantras which involves eloborate rituals at the level of microcosm(the human body)..... when kali comes it is difficult to follow vedas ,tantras and temple worship .......and the easiest method of hari nama yajna ....chanting the mantra ..is recommended .......in the absence of all means ..a purely mental worship ....including offering food mentally,clothes,water etc mentally is also recommended ..................if god teaches one thing in one age and another thing in another age it doesnt mean that other methods are wrong ...it only means that god is recommending the easiest method for the age.....

Do you remember all the sins of your previous lives...all misconduct of yours in previous lives ..do you worry about it? if not then dont worry about your past in this life...its gone ...now is what you have..... Is there any virtuosity in feeling sad and guilty?.....why let such emotions prevent you from doing good work.....good work should be an end in itself without any expectations ...... as far as culture is concerned ..are you aware of the concept of gandharva marriage ..... it is the union of a male and female without any marriage or ritual and based purely on mutual acceptence.......... You worry so much because of your specific socio-religious conditioning ..... but if you were born in a culture where premarital sex and having multiple partners was normal then you wouldnt feel so bad........our socities and religions dictate whats right and wrong and we believe it .....and many of these rules are suitable for a certain time ......following the scriptures is ultimately good ....and ...you must understand the scriptures themselves declare sadness to be in the mode of ignorance..... you worry about your past ....you lose peace of mind ... you worry about being a hypocrite when you act in a certain way in the future ... you lose peace of mind.. so be at peace and do what ought to be done in the present now.....NO god or guru will ever Judge you.........and they will always be there to help you in your efforts......if you are worrying about karmic reactions like becoming a spider ..let me tell you that a person who is serious about spirituality never falls down because in a lower life forms it is not possible to do spiritual practices ..and it is our present desires which create our next life and if you desire to do spiritual practice then karma will provide you with a suitable body which may be human or other existance where spiritual practice is possible....... In my opinion you did absolutely nothing wrong.....enjoying is not wrong by itself ......scriptures provide guidelines to enjoy within a restricted enviroment ...so that people do not become too attached to enjoyment and forget spirituality.......attachment to enjoyment will keep us trapped in this world which is a miserable place.....so the scriptures and their guidelines must be followed ........but dont lose sight of the intention of the rishis when they formulated the rules........ As they say ....the young man knows the rules...the old man exceptions......

I am very busy till monday.................. yes vaishnava acharyas ask not even to read mayavada philosophy..which is the right thing to do especially for vaishnavas....but i dont think there are many people who believe in shuddha advaita ...anyways ...the reason i got into this debate on the other disccussion about the dividing line is not to proove the superiority of one philosophical system over another but o point out that our scriptures are multidimensional in nature .....and the Rishis have purposely composed them in such a manner ....for example at one level the gita is a literal story of war.....then every verse of the gita is a mantra by itself......then there are intrepretations where characters ..ie. the pandavas are associated with chakras in the human body ....of course we know the bhakti and jnana intrepretations ....... thus there are many interpretations of the same text depending on the which dimendion one wishes to study........ another example which easily comes to the mind is that ....saundarya lahiri composed by shankaracharya...which is a hymn in praise of the devi ....at literal level it is just a praise ..then ther are many mantras in the hymn which are supposed to be used with their specific yantras to get a specific result.... then he also has reveled a very secret mantra found in the atharva veda ...and also in the rig veda .....then in certain parts of the hymn he explains how the devi as kundilini flows through different chakras ....etc........thus many of our core scriptures like the bhagavad gita..... durga shaptashati and saundarya lahiri ...are multidimensional in nature ....understanding one of its dimension should not become a reason to deride the other dimensions......... and offcourse we need vaishanavas ..a lot of vaishnavas ...to bring more people under krishnas care so that this world becomes a better place..... we would be better off having more bhaktas than jnanis ...because bhakti is contagious......and is therefore more effective....
