  1. {{{ There are a few major reasons why the brits quit Bharat. Besides gandhi was not alone. he has his army of brave cowards willing to die than to get strong and fight. }}} Gandhi failed to make India's Muslims nonviolent? << There are 120 million Muslims in India. Are you trying to tell me that every single one of those is a violent, bloodthirsty human being? >> No. but that is not due to gandhi. it is because: - they are not following koran and hadith to their word. - they are not listeinign and following teh mullas in mosques and madresas - they are weak at this time to enforce their will. - they feel friendly to the majority kafir hindus around them. - they know that hating the majority will be a danger to them. - etc. among this muslim population of bharat is a small number of muslims who are a part and are supporters of ISI, the CIA of pakistan. this has a lot of power and funding (to do terrors) from pak which it gets from US to fight terrorism. << Good job citing some random "British politician or historian" whose name you do not "rememger" as your proof for your argument that munity caused the Indian independence. Very credible. >> if i get time, i will find where i read it. << What the hell is a "brave coward" anyways? Can one get any more oxymoronic? >> they are brave to die fearlessly giving fullprotection to the enemy, but not brave to fight adharmis. a kshatriya on the other hand fights bravely with adharmis, and doe snto care if he dies fighting. << It's a shame that you do not appreciate that people died by the hundreds in nonviolent efforts so that your precious "Vedic dharma, Vedic society, and [sic] the Vedic land" could be free of foreign rule. >> but many have faught violently an dies also, why forget them? additionally, due to the dis-united stance of the hindus, the current gov. also is anti hindu in hindustan. hindus mistakenly think at this time that secularism is best, but it is not for the hinds. hinduism is already secular, it does not need foreign concept of secularism imposed on the vedic people in the vedic land. << Here's another radical concept for y'all: love for Vedic dharma/society/land doesn't mean hate for anything non-Vedic. >> okay, love islam, but kick it out of bharat. invader has no right to stay. note that hindus do not want islam out of the world, just out of Bharat; in contrast, islam does not want any kafir religion any where on this globe. arjun loved bhishma, drona, durodhan, etc, but he killed them because krishna told him so. even if you cannot love enemy, you need to fight adharmis, else it is cowardice.
  2. dear jewis-guest, could you please share what are the real reasons for jews to occupy the jewish land lost in the time of moses? one reason stated is that it was your homeland anyway. agree. but, are there any other reasons? e.g. is the area strategically very important for military purpose? we hindus and jews have a common enemy - islam. in the world there is plenty of space to live, perticularly in australia and north and south americas. one idea is to buy land there, and create new israel. or creat new palestine in muslim lands like egypt. this is howwever tough to get agreement due to sentiments and ego. but before it can be done, the spread of islam must be checked and contained and reduced by civil programs. please read a very short hindu scripture isopanishad. you will find it quickly by google search. that is - in vedic vew - a solution to the subject problem, if only it is understood and acted upon. whan you think the problem will end in your view, and what will be the condition after it is solved? we have similar problem with paksitan, which is created by our own foolish decisions at critical times in the 1000 years of history. one of may sopution is to declare islam an illegal religion in any country where it is not grown and has invaded by force originally. to do is democratic, and civil, by votes and unity. hinduism is unique is many ways. e.g. it says when one is born, one is just an animal without a tail. that is, at birth one is neither a hindu or muslim or jew, or xian, etc. first hinduism provides means to make teh new born at certain age to be a man - human. then the vedic processes provide means for a humna to realize god. all these processes are harmless to others who do not follow hinduism. hope this will help. i am also curious to know what is jew populaton in various countries. in any case israel-bharat cooperation in various will help both.
  3. << Since everything has sprung from Brahman, does it mean that this inauspicious / bad nature also has sprung from Him? >> brahma = god = krishna is eternal, never born, never dies. so is a soul. god is one, but the souls are almost infinite, and infinitesimal in power compared to god. these souls who are born with their own desires as jivas have been given freedom by krishna. freedom to do as they please. this freedom, when misused by forgetting god ahd one's eternal loving relationp with god, causes jivas to behave in ways that causes bad things for others as well as for themselves. so, bad things/acts are caused by some of these jivas simply because god has given them the freedom. can god stop them, yes; and that is why he incarnates again and again. yadAyadA hi dharmasy glAnir bhavati bhArat abhutthAm adharmasya tadAtmAnam sR^ijAmya paritrANAya sAdhUnAm vinAshAya duskkritAm dharma samsthApanAya sambhavAmi yuge yuge. says Krishna in Gita. as soon as one does bad things, god knows it; but he chooses to not to stop him immediately. why? because: - he wants to see if the jiva will find out for himself and correct himself, repenting. - he also wants to see if the good guys - suras- will act to punish the asursa or adharmis, which they must. it is suras' dharma to stop adharma in a society. if none does anything and the the good guys suffer due to bad guys, god cannot tolerate for long. then either he comes himself, or sends some one to do the work for himself, or empowers some sura to do it. hope this helps.
  4. dear ramachander, dhanyawad for your seva and desire. i suggest you make a web page and put all your works on it for the world. please also tell about your guru and qualification on the web page (if that is safe).
  5. cobra is deadly. no one wished to die by a cobra bite. per hindu scriptures, there is a deva that controls/protects cobras. also, since god has created cobras, hindus accept their existance. they are good and useful in the fields when they eat mice. so, the hindus invoke mercy of the nag deva for their safety from cobras. the idea is of co-existance of all species in the world. in bengal area, people live with tigers. tigers sometimes eat men, but the people accept that. when they enter a forest, they worskip, chant paryer to the tigers' deva. such worship is okay for the hindus who know less or not well about hinduism. but there is no harm in continuing the tradition, with proper understanding.
  6. << But, it is strange because about one or two days after starting to chant this mantra, I began to feel a lot of repressed anger coming to the surface. >> in my view, it has nothing to do with chanting. one gets angry on some one thing that comes in your way of fulfilling your desire. so, what was you desire you were trying to fulfil, and who or what came in your way to fail you? chanting is most beneficial when: - you know the qualities of krishna and his pastimes and you feel intense love for him. - you listen every word of mantra intently, and think of nothisn but the mantra or Krishna. - you have strong faith in mantra and in krishna. - you are percistant in chanting and do not give up.
  7. << It took just ONE Gandhian, Mahatma Gandhi himself, to kick out the British Empire from India. >> No. There are a few major reasons why the brits quit Bharat. Besides gandhi was not alone. he has his army of brave cowards willing to die than to get strong and fight. Note that gandhi failed to make the muslims of Bharat non violent. - They were tried of WWII - They know there was a possibliity of army mutny. This army was Hindustanis serving the british raj. When a question was to a british politician or historian ( I do not rememger his name) why the brits left India, he said with wide mouth, "M U T N Y". They took the excuse of Gandhi, to cool down teh masses. - British people still are civil better, than nazis, or muslims. gandhi would have failed in a Muslims counry. For this reason you can see that No Muslim society has produced a Gandhi. An exception is Afghanistan, where Khan Abdul Gafar Khan was known as a gandhi of the frontieer. This happend mainy becaue of the neighboring Hindu influence, but it did not last long. Gandhi coudl have failed against Hitler, e.g. . The black community in US produced Martin Luther King, who was not a Muslim, and a black Malcum X was a Muslim and a Militant. So, in essence, Gandhi stole the credit (or the Brits tranferred the crdit to gandhi) that can be given to others as well. The violent freedom fighters of India, did not die in vain, nor should they be forgotten or looked down. Their love for the Vedic dharma, Vedic society, and the Vedic land was no less than any one else who fought for the country.
  8. dear nothingness, i feel i am insulting to you by addressing you as nothingness, becase you are not nothing, as gita says. so, please pick another username, i suggest. about your subject wish: religions will co-exist, at all times, but to expect peace between them is not reasonable. the asuras will have their demoniac ideologies to follow, and they will always try to compete with the peaceful sura religions. so, per krishna, in gita, there always will be some competion, more or less, mild or extremely strong and lethal, between them. we hindus think it wise to take krishna's word in gita. of all the religions, hinduism provides maximum freedo of thought, words, and actions. it is a universal dharma. it is not a religion as the religion is understood in the west/xian world. you will realise this fact as you know hinduism/gita.
  9. << Through we do have certain sects within Hinduism who are intolerant of other sects. They may argue about beliefs but they don't kill each other >> Dear guest 2, Thanks for the nice post. I only have a bit of comment about the above line. No hindu sect is intolerant of other vedic sects, in essence; but the sadhanaa in any sect/sampradaya needs to be ekanisthaa, single pointed, avyabhichariNi. This has traditionally caused highly civil religious debates, and in public, within Vedic society. The debates also have helped sharpen firther the realization of the truth and associated practice of dharma. Hence Hinduism is a living dharma. This forum is nothing but a modern version of vedic dabete place. These debates helps one to sharpen one's own rationale for sadhanaa. It mistakenly makes one think that the other vedic path is wrong. no vedic path is wrong, but is good for a right person. becaue people are different, just one path cannot fit all. each has to take and follow one that suits one. Only some time violence has occured between persons of different the vedic sects, but that was an anomaly out of ignorance on the part of the violent person. hope you understand the point i am making.
  10. all we need to follow at this time is just Bhagavad Gita that has only 700 verses. Gita is the summary of the vedas, given by Krishna Himself just recently. Why worry about the vedic historucal questions that are difficult to answer, chiefly because a couple of invaded ideologies have destroyed our knowledge sources drastically about our own culture and history? We have, thansk god, the essence of our vedic treasure -Gita. So, use it, live by it. That is enough for us, and for the world also (if they understand the truth).
  11. i browsed your posts quickly, and i am please you re here. be here. your knowlede of tarka, and shastra is useful. however, the absolute truth, krishna, cannot be comprehended by onl logic, though logic does help weed out things that move one away from many relative truths. shraddhaa is needed to know krishna or get his mercy. no matter how sharp we are in our logic, buddhi, and gyana, we are not complete. hence we need shraddhaa to take His word and live by it. again welcome. please tell about you whatever you can.
  12. << one would think that if this river was so great as it was and so vital to the indus valley civilization, then why would it's disappearance not be mentioned? >> People like you now will record every event in Hindu books. Have you started? The fact of use is that the vedas do mention the river, and it is found by satellite pictures.
  13. << what gives you any right to fuel hatred. >> God. If there is a cobra in our home, we have right to tell it to all, and so something about it. We have been biten for 1000 years. Is that not enough to wake up? Arjun loved Bhishma, and Drona; but when he understood what Krishna said him in gita. So, he killed both of them. All cannot love enemies. Even you cannot love us. But love or not, one must fight with adharmi ideology. Invader has no right to stay. Just think, what would have happened if Gandhi or a gandhian like you were the advisor of Arjun at that time of Mahabharat? The matter is not fueling hatred. Hatred is abundently spread in the thousands of Madresas against all the kafirs, including you. The matter is a consideration of the clear fact that Islam is 180 degree opposite of Hinduism/Gita. If a dove lives with a hawk, it is the dove that will suffer. If a chicken lives with the fox, it is the chicken that will suffer and loose everything. Islam has invaded in our land and by brute force. Why respect Islam that is totally anti-Hindu? Well. if you are not a serious Hindu, then you would not care. If you are afraid of Muslims, then also you will not care for Hindus and Hinduism, and Hindustan. Or if you are ignorant of the centuries long history how we have suffered, then you will say what you said. Or, finally, you are a Muslim or paid by Muslim to delude the Hindus. Did I miss any other possibility? Was Krishna a fool when he created kshatriya varna? Was Gandhi more wise than Krishna? Answer. Do you like to live in a land where there is no military or police? There are some. You could make their a peace loving society. Try. ----------- I thank those Hindus here who have correctly understood my analysis on this matter and have responded appropritely. Thanks a lot, keep up.
  14. the vedic brahmans used to do these karma/service to the soceity. i am trying to find out what these are. if you know please share. my guess is shrotra karma -vidi - is service for the living people, and smarta is for dead persons, but not sure.
  15. <<.. even though they may have to pay a price of difficult life (caused by adharmis) in this earth. >> never die a looser. assert your will if you are a dharmi. if you loose the vedic land and the culture to invaders anti-vedics, you lost, your great dharma lost. if one of us pays the price (for being good), the other needs to collect twice from the enemy. this is kshatriya dharma. do not make a society of enuches.
  16. the words "sum total is zero" have more meanings, ana all meanings are not correct. the forst vers of isopanisha is: OM pUrNamidah pUrNamidam PUrNAt pUrnam udachyate PurNasya PurNamAdAya pUrnamevA vashishhyate so, the sum total is God - Purna. God is not zero. teh sum total is zero words also imply that if some people get rich, then others get poor. this is not true either. if some people eat more, that does not mean it causes others to starve. (strvation in this world at this time is caused by greed and lack of compassion, not lack of food.)
  17. per bhagavatam, king pariksit found kali personified as a criminal in his kingdom (he was kicking a bull) and parikshit wanted to kill him; but then he thought that kali has one good thing about it: it is easy to realize god in kali just by chanting the holy names of god. this is most easy than any other methods use in other yugas. hence parikshi let him go and told hom to live.
  18. << The number of good people in the universe is equal to number of bad people, >> no. in satya yoga, most (almost all) are good people, gradually their number decreases and becomes maximum in kaliyuga. then the cycle repeats. some think that if there ar more people happy, then it means there are other people unpappy. in vedic society most are happy, regardless of their varna, ashrama or financial status. in some cultures most are unhappy regardless of their position in society.
  19. islam has created hell for 1000 years in bharat for hindus after invading, destroying and killings. it is time we hindus get islam out of bharat. this is a softer alternative than sending them to hell.
  20. << I'd rather go to hell with my fellow Hindu brothers and sisters than to heaven with violent, aggressive and intolerant people. >> dhanyawad dear sanatana dharmi, please use a good username.
  21. not divine. if you can taste with your eyes, then you cannot eat with your eyes. god can.
  22. vaishnavas consider siva a mahavaishnav. when rama was to be borm, shiva had come in disguise to see Him. siva worshipers' sadhana is that of advaita, this is different from vaishnav sadhana, dwaita -bhakti. both arew vedic paths, but one cannot walk on bith at the same time.
  23. Srimad Bhagavatam Glorification Ch. 1 Verse: 33: Narad describing the effects of kali yugu says (to sanat kumaras): "Ashramas, tirthas, and rivers have been occupied and controlled by yavanas. Vickid people have destroyed many tempels." Even in the recent history the Muslims rulers in Bharat taxed Hindus to go to temples and pilgrimages. The greatest insult to the Hindus is that the current Bharat gov. is controlling funds and management of the Hindu temples. This should be protested strongly. Why not tax all the Mosque and Church goers in Bharat? Both these ideologies are foreign there, and are very aggresive and anti-vedic. Islam has invaded. Well, I prefer they go out, instead of taxing them.
  24. << it is hard to attain liberation if you believe you are a finite being >> if you really feel you are limitless, like god, you need to prove it to yourself and others that you rally are limitless, else it is an illusion. do you have limitless energy, of fame or wealth, or beauty, or joy, etc.? however, after attaining libertiion, you may feel limitless; although the vaishnava devotees like to remain humble servants of krishna for ever.
  25. Yes, this very clear from his book: sarva-siddhAnta-sangraha. In the last chapter of this book Sri Shankaracharya discusses what philosophy Sri Vyasadev has described in Mahabharat. One verse is: sarvashAstravirAdhena vyAsoktau bhArate dvije. gR^ihyatam sAnkhyapakshAdi vedasAro'tha vaidikaiH.. "The summary of the Vedas given in Mahabharat by Sri Vedavyasa is in consonance with all scriptures, and actually it is taken from sankhya principle." In 46th verse of the chapter he says: "Four handed Vishnu has created fourfold universe, and four varnas. .." Then he says: "Srimad Bhagavatam composed by Vyasadev has avadhUta marg as Krishna discribed it to Uddhav." I found this in preface of a Bhagavatam in a Bharatiya language. This preface says that Sri Shankarachary just paid less attention to vaishnava siddhanta, but was not an anti-vaishnav at all. There are reasons to beleive that the priority of the time for hims was to expell Buddhism from Bharat and re-establish vedic dharma. Sri Prabhupada has said that Sri Shankara was a mahavaishnav, and sang Bhaja govindam mUdha mate. i would add that his sarva siddhata meant all the vedic paths, and does not inlude islam and other anti-vedic paths. hope this will help vaishnavas and advaitis see each other in friendly manner, and continue their own sadhana without wasting times in dvaita-advaita debates.
