when you write rama in devanagari it actually is writen rAma, and could be pronounced, strickly like raama (=rAma). but traditionally we pronounce it like rAm (=raam). The non-bhartiyas do not know this, and so they pronounce as it is written, but with distortion, and they pronounce rAmA (same as raamaa) thus the right pronounciation is raam, shiv, etc.

There is Sri Vasu Murthy, a Nuclear Scientist in Oalkand, CA. He has done extensive research into Xian ancient - original - litierature, and has written a 1200 page report proving that Xianity originally in essence is a lot closer to vaishnavism, and the xians need to support us rather than compete with us with their changed and distorted original messages of jesus and his teachings. The book may not have been published yet, but I do not know about his where-about in recent years.

there is news that columbia has agreed to teach afghanistan how to fight war on drug. can a war on drug be won by stopping forcibly the growers? No. their only livelyhood and lucrtive is to grow and sell poppy. they have been ding it since centuries, even when islam says one shoudl not take drugs. Beaides, the land and climate there is ideal for poppy crop. so, as long as there is demand for drugs, there will be some one who will grow it, evne at high risk, because there is high payoff. so the real solution is to eliminate the demand. supply cannot be stopped as long as there is demand. who could help eliminate demand? the vaishnavas preachers. HKs. so, what are the ways to help the US gov. realize that if Gov. funds HKs, to propagate krishna consciousness, in US, they will win drug war. any other thoughts or comments?

just as one should not judge you by th car you drive, hinduism says that one should not judge a jiva/soul by the form of the body in which it resides. understanding hinduism becomes very easy when one keeps an open mind keeping away all the concepts or beliefs one has learned from the semetic religions. to think that you are your body is the greatest illusion you must get rid of, says hinduism/gita/krishna.

if i am not mistaken, she is a daughter of raj kapoor's son. rajkaoppr's father prithvirah kapoor had a family tradition: "kapoor hindu family girls/women will not work in films, and our boys will not marry a muslim." raj kapoor wanted to marry nargis, a muslim, but he respected his family tradition and chose to not marry her. our vedic literature says what is the purpose of marriage, and how to live happy married life and realize god. not following it, karishma suffered, if what you said about her is correct.

the unfortunate situation is that the gov. does not give a damn about the majority hindus of the country. when hindus become true hindus, and make democracy work for them, then the situation will change for better for them. currenlty the minority ant-vedics make the democracy work for them. also the external powers also poke their noses in bharat under the pretex of democracy/secularism.

"vice and virtu is no one's monopoly. we will be virtuous, and fight if and when necessary." gandhans choose to die keeping adharmis alive, and a dead cannot control anything. a hindu dies, if so necesary, but takes a few adharmis with him too. the need is to get the asuric ideology out of bharat. just re-program the minds, with love when possible. the spread of the asuric ideology needs to be checked also.

<< The Gita verse (18-44) on shudra is about what he does as a result of his 'swabhava'. Swabhavajam karma paricharya Athmakam. Here Sri Krishna talks about the duties/ works of the 4 varnas that they discharge on account of their swabhava. The swabhava of a shudra is grieving. >> each varna is determined by one's guna and karma. this also means their swabhav. now, any varna that experiences suffering from another(s) will grieve/complain, and act to solve his/her problem(s). if a shudra has no means to fight/solve his/her problems, he will simply grieve/complain to get relief. if no one gives justice to any varna, then that varna (person or group) will take arms, and do something/right or wrong, at the cost of his/her life. krishna in gita does not say to remain inactive and lethargic/passive when there are problems. all varna can take this message. even bhima was no thappy with yudhisthira's way of handling injustices from kauravas. so he was grieving/complaining, but remained united with him. once a right goal is chosen, unity is needed to achieve it. in a city of bharat a few decades ago, the shudras all went to strike for higher pay, and stopped their janitorial work. this could cause outbreak of deseases and deaths. in response, the whole city, including leaders, began to do the janitorial work themselves. in a day or two, the shudras came to senses, and began serving. no hindu has interest to keep a shudra a shudra for ever. when a shudra attains qualification, he/she gets proper work per his new guna and karma. sorry i went tangent a bit.

hinduism tells the importance of unity of mind, intelligence, and ego, as well mind, words, and actions. when there is a conflict within, you cannot achieve a goal. so, analyse your self, and remove internal conflicts.

then read gita at this site and take that message. i do not remember krishna used "dream" word in gita. mAyA word is used. it means illusion. not realizing a reality as it is, is an illusion. a dream most get could be an illusion within an illusion. one who firmly knows the reality as it is, will have his dreams reveal reality. to them a dream gives right direction or answer.
