first, hinduism has no mythology. being a hindu and think hinduism has mythology is self insulting and self defeating.

if you want to get confused you can do it in millions of ways listening to every tom dick and harry. we hindus choose to listen the the vedas and our scriptures and gita, and our aacharyas, and saints. so just tell your friend that we choose that way, and we are not interestd in his stories.

if you love him, love his dharma also. if you do not know hinduism well, know it, and make sure he does follow hinduism well and correclty. that will keep both of you very happy.

Westerners do not know how to pronounce Na. They always pronounce any n as in No. Thus writing sanskrit words in imperfect latin alphabet (a-b-c-d) opens door for incorrect pronounciations.

When you run this application, it gives two windows one above the other. in the top window you write raamaa (or rAmA) and in the bottom window it will give the name is devanagari script (sanskrit99 font) which you could cut and paste in a word file if you want. it also gives a table showing what to type to get what devanagari charcter. hope it helps.
