You have Makar lagna and the 10th lord Venus is in the 8th house, this is not good, plus it is in Leo sign, an enimical sign for Venus. This could give you troubles in career. You also have kal sarp yoga, but this does not mean end of the world for you many people have it and ups and downs are part of life. Jupiter aspects Rahu which is placed in the 6th house. This should help you get some relief. The kal sarp yog is between 12th and 6th house meaning that problems related to these 2 houses will affect you more than anything else such as job, employer, diseases and injuries, debts, enemies, opponents, competitors, thieves, maternal uncles, misunderstandings, confrontation, litigation and the body parts - waist, navel, lower abdomen, kidneys, small intestine, upper part of large intestine, intestinal function, appendix, etc. Saturn and Sun together in the 9th house also indicate lack of fortunes when needed most in life during crucial times. Right now you are running Guru mahadasha (MD) which will end in March, 2012 and then Sani MD will start and this probaly will be the best period of your life. It will take you abroad for some reason or the other and give you some good results as well. A late marriage is possible A debiliated Saturn's aspect could indicate even worse, divorce, more than 2-3 marriages, death of spouse, marital unhappiness, but if Jupiter is also aspecting 7th house then marriage is more than likely to happen, also need to look at the navamamsa kundli as well for better prediction. thanks Ravi

Sun is in the 1st house and it is exalted but it is near 29 degrees and thus not capable of giving you 100%, but still good enough and better than other planets, Mercury with it indicates that you are quite good at maths, which only you know. You have malefic Saturn in the 8th house this means that you must be careful when getting married. Jupiter in the 10th house is debilitated and hence very weak this is capable of giving you delays and troubles in your professional life, need to be careful while talking to your boss as it looks at the 6th house with its 9th aspect. You can do MBA in either marketing or finance but need to work hard for this to happen, can go abroad if you want to. You have Tula lagna and thus Sani and Venus are the most benefic planets also capable of creating raj yogas or different combinations of thereof that can help the native. Venus the lagna lord is in the 7th house with aspects the 1st house with 7th direct drishiti, this is good, but Venus being karaka of marriage can delay the marriage of can make married life a little difficult for you. But this should not be a matter of great worry for you. Saturn in the 12th house with Mars is a bit negative factor and if I am correct then it might put you in a situation where a lot of wrong investments or expenditure happens for no apparent reason. To me it looks like that you are slightly Manglik, as often said that manglik people get married only after the age of 28 years, but this is not always true and I am not genius to say that. Guru in the lagna makes you a good student but Venus looking at the lagna can make you a little lazy when it comes to total focus on the academics, but I still believe that Guru's 5th drishti on the 5th house and 9th house should give you a chance to study whatever you want and wherever you want. There is more study possible but only if you wish to. You have some chance of settling abroad and that will happen in due course, sorry but I can't predict the exact time. Sani and Mars (the lord of 2nd house the house of income) together indicate earning from technical or engineering fields. You have your Sun in the same rasi both in birth chart and navamamsa chart this makes it vargottama and thus Sun should give you some good results during its dasha and antar-dasha. 6th lord Guru is in lagna so it looks to me that you should focus on jobs only and not business of any kind. This also can make you vulnerable to disease all the time and thus you need to make sure that you are fit and fine all the time. Right now you are running Mar/Ket/Mon as your mahadasha, antar-dasha and pratyantar-dasha ie MD,AD and PD. Mars is the lord of the 2nd house and it is the house of family and income. This Mars MD started in Oct, 2004 and will continue for 7 years till Novt, 2011. See the table of Vimshottari MDs given below. Hi, I am also going through Rahu mahadasha and just finished my Rahu antardasha in Dec, 2008 only, it has given me illenss and I am still recovering from it and it made me come back from abroad, but things are improving now as now it is Jupiter antar-dasha. good luck and have faith in God, things will improve soon,thanks Ravi

Yes, you have Libra lagna and as per the Laghu Parasari, Venus becomes a benfic planet and yog karaka for Libra -Tula lagna simply becuase it is the lagna lord despite the fact that it is also the lord of malefic 8th house. Saturn is also yog karaka for Tula lagna because it is a natural malefic but it is also the lord of the 4th (kendra) and 5th (Trikon) houses. So both are very good yog karakas for Tula lagna in general. You have Sani exalted in the 1st house ie lagna and this is quite good. Venus being the yog karaka is also in the 10th house, but it is less than 1 degree so might not give the 100%, but still good enough. In the Navamamsa kundli Venus is again in Cancer sign this makes it Vargottama meaning capable of giving you good results during its dasha and antar-dasha. Thanks Ravi

You have 4 planets in the 10th house - the house of profession and career. Although Sun and Saturn both being yog karaka for the Aquarius lagna, should help further your career in the right direction. Presence of Mercury and Venus both being functional malefics does seem to help the cause either. There will be hurdles in your career all along. But you need to make sound judgements. You are currently running Rahu mahadasha or MD since July 2006 and will end in July 2024, yes it runs for 18 long years. But the entire period of this MD is not going to harm you, so do not worry too much. There is an exchange of lords between the 9th and 10th houses meaning that you will be traveling abroad for short job assignments, although there is a chance of permanent settlement abroad as well, but that will happen in due course. You can study further this year itself in the US or elsewhere but I am thinking that you should go into the marketing or finance side of career ie MBA finance or marketing. but this is upto you and I am no genius to tell you so. To me it looks like you are Manglik, but there are so many people. Your Sun the lord of the 7th house (the house of marriage) is in the 12th house with functional malefic Mercury and Venus is also there but Venus seems to of less than 1 degree. For marital happines one should look at the 7th, 8th and 2nd houses for a variety of reasons. As you know Venus is the natural singificator of marriage ie karaka or marriage. Whenever Venus is with the Sun it loses its power to a significant extent but not completely. They both are in the 2nd house and they are separated by more than 10 degrees, so just do not panic so much as of now. Both Sun and Venus are enemies and in each horoscope there is always a possibility that atleast one out of the 9 planets will be either in an enemy's rasi or with an enemy or aspected by an enemy. This is no big deal. Your 7th lord Jupiter is in its own sign Sagittarius and this is a good sign. The Sun and Venus combination is believed to be the reason for marital disturbances and lack of happiness in a couple's life with arguments etc. But my own father has this combination in the 12th house he is married for more than 30+ years. He also has Jupiter in the 7th house in Aquarius sign. My own experience says that this combination is not good for one's eyes as it can give you a very poor sight. Your Saturn seems to be quite strong as it is in the 5th house in its exalted sign Libra and in Navamamsa it is in the 9th house in Aquarius sign, which is its own sign.
