  1. cloth can take more than ten years to degenerate too... metal takes hundreds of years to degenerate... stone takes millions of years to degenerate... so let us stop using cloth and metal and stone <!-- / message -->
  2. yes everyone is well ... hope u are well too
  3. I do not think chaitanya mahaprabhu or gaudiya vaishnavism says "my guru is the best... and my god is the only god... convert to my belief or be erased"... Do you?
  4. Actually atoms everywhere are the same ... all atoms everywhere render loving devotional service to Krsna all the time... the problem only comes when it comes to humans... humans even the most religious ones (on introspection) realise that no matter how hard they try... the mortal world distracts them... and in spite of all their efforts they can manage a mere few hours of true loving devotional service to Krsna. and the irreligious ones... let us not talk of that
  5. If ever I do mock someones belief ... let it be mine alone... for in mocking and questioning my own belief i emerge stronger... and the conviction of my belief grows. and if the conviction falters... i will know that it is time i left my belief and took on another which wouldnt falter under fire....
  6. can't stop loving the phrase "cool as hell"
  7. Hinduism has existed eternally because of the quality that it encompasses all and allows for peaceful coexistance. Unfortuantely the western influences have brought in "missionary zeal" into many of the sub sects of hinduism... "my guru is the best... and my god is the only god... convert to my belief or be erased" seems to be their motto... i think this kind of narrow minded thinking isnt in keeping with the basic concept of hinduism where people who followed various gods and customs lived together and prospered on the banks of a river...
  8. Dearest Suchandra let us not be so naive as to assume that a name taken to join a forum is an embodiment of the ultimate truth... that way i would love to imagine the professions and personalities of our friends with names such as "bijabeggaratheistKrsna" To one who sees truly names do not matter... and shiva is equally revered as krishna or narayan... being a shivaduta doesnt mean one cant be a krishnaduta as well or possible even a RAVAN-duta:smash: on occasions
  9. Where there is no decay there is no progress either... if u were 10 meters away from your ishtadevata today even after a million years you would not be an inch closer... not many would want to be a part of such a existance... even if it existed. we seriously should think if a plane where there is no fear of destruction and no one is capable of making anything new or thinking a new thought.. can be called "enervating" ... many would prefer a "perverted reflection" where a shankaracharya and a prabhupada are born and can come up with their new individual and unique enlightning thought processes. many would risk a death to get a chance to improve the meaning of life
  10. Actually we have many threads in this forum which focus on someone picking up one flag and trying to beat the others down... This behaviour is not beneficial to anyone... The three forces (embodied by Brahma Vishnu and Shiva) are primeiveal forces of cosmic energy which involve the creation, the maintainence and the destruction... The ongoing process is a endless one and all three are "all powerful" in their own sense... and creation cant be complete without any one of the three. if a vehicle has three wheels it is obvious that only those who respect and accept each of the three wheels can drive the vehicle well... so also anyone seeking true knowledge cant find it unless he respects and values every aspect of the eternal existance. so my advice to all those starting stupid threads of hatred is.... PLEASE GROW UP...
  11. These "Talent" shows (especially for children) create an enviornment where the child begins believing he is greater than what he truly is... and once the show is over and the channels have milked the children to get ratings and viewerships they cast away the participants without a second thought... the children spend the rest of their lives coming to terms with reality... a broken dream of immense glory can be a shattering event... especially at a tender age...
  12. I think you should address your query to http://www.siddhashram.org/ they will be in a better position to reply to your query... i think the postal address is Siddhashram Dr. Shrimali Marg, High Court Colony, Jodhpur 342001, Rajasthan, India. The Telephone number is (0291)-2432209/2433623
  13. Well the first thing that the mind needs is a goal... so whatever you do... be clear what u seek or hope to find... (abstract goals are the most difficult to pursue cause the human mind many times does not comprehend the goal... if you are pursuing a abstract goal it may take years before your mind begins understanding and accepting the goal at a subconscious level) next the mind needs a powerful motive... if your motive goes against your inner principles your mind will refuse to support you... (example: if you are aiming at building a house on a beach.. and somewhere there is a fear of the ocean and tidal waves ingrained in your mind... the mind will try and stop u from building your house...) so have a motive why you seek your goal... a strong motive which is in keeping with your inner principles helps... (the stronger the motive the more power the mind alotts to seeking the goal... example mahatma gandhi and nelson mandela wanted to free their nation their people) have a vehicle like a mantra or tratak to aid your search rest should flow smoothly...
  14. 11. Who was Bharata's father? (Here Bharata is the one after whom the name Bharatavarsha came.) Menaka and vishwamitra's daughter was shakuntala... shakuntala and king dushyant had a child bharat who later became emperor ...after whom bharatvarsha got its name (there is a story of a curse of rishi durvasa due to which dushyant forgot shakuntala and ....... )
  15. one of the finest teachers of vashikaran and other sadhanas was shri narayan dutt Shrimali... who unfortunately is no more... however the organisation he established still exists ... check it out if u so desire... http://www.siddhashram.org/manofthisage.shtml
  16. Well the government cant exactly lie in a open economy ... cause the procurement and sales figures are open for all to see... a RTI "right to information act" application can get you these figures if you are interested... the problem actually is that this is the election year... both in India and in the US... prise rising is a regular election year phenomenon... huge unaccounted funds are required for campaigns and electioneering... the political parties (at least in india) will bully and extort the money from local businessmen and traders and the businessmen will recover the money by hoarding commodities and creating artificial shortages... to recover the money 'Donated' ... the political masters will look the other way ensure that the storehouses and godowns storing the hoarded goods arent raided. and the press will be paid money and fed the relevent stories which give fake justifications to justify the price rises... if you look the food production hasnt reduced dramatically between last year and this year... and yet the price rise is far in excess to the proportion to the reduction in food production...
  17. Dharma is also the name of a Deva in charge of Dharma. He is born from the right breast of Brahma, is married to ten daughters of Daksha and fathers Shama, Kama and Harahsa. He is also the father of the celebrated Rishis Hari, Krishna, Nara-Narayana. In the Epic Mahabharata,he is incarnate as Vidura. Also, Dharma is invoked by Kunti and she begets her eldest son Yudhisthira from him. As such Yudhisthira is known as Dharmaputra. There is also an assimilation of God Dharma and Yama, the God of the Dead in the Mahabharata.
  18. find a guru in your city who can teach you the vashikaran sadhana and the vashikaran mantra...
  19. Small and large are mere concepts as perceived by the human mind... (to some a large house would be 4 bedrooms. to a king a 50 bedroom house may be small... to a begger a 2 room house may seem a palace...) any concept of the mind is influenced by maya so it is possible to have something small on the outside and large within... about the concepts of "infinity and zero" both are concepts which are creations of the mind... and what doesnt exist can be deemed similar... in a way zero is nothing and infinity doesnt exist in reality...
  20. Dear Friend don quixote - you do not seem to have read before charging at your windmills... is there by any chance the word "vaishnav" anywhere in my post... it may probably have slipped your mind that i may be talking of the 20-second krishna consiousness chains which have sprung up all over the place which simplify kindergarten logic and offer it to the masses... I have not talked of vaishnav vedantic schools...
  21. Wow... a "vaishnav HITLER"... Kamsa mama would most certainly have loved this guy...
  22. Killing your brothers and uncles and granduncles cant be called a tasty duty ... can it ... Remember we have been put here by the cosmic consiousness some call it krishna other refer to it with other names... and no duty alloted to anyone can ever be called dry duty i guess... if you love god you love everything that he gives... and even the filthiest of duty can be done with afection as a expression of love to god...
  23. Duty is the most important thing i guess... if Arjun had just done devotion and ignored his duty and not fought ... then history would have been written by king duryodhan and dusshasan... and they wouldnt have given any footage to prabhu sri krishna in their accounts... would they
  24. Friends - have been reading this thread... surprising that i am not finding either "CREMATION or BURIAL" on most of the posts on the thread... so i guess some of you are just interested in hijacking the threads and fighting your own battles here... WAY TO GO... <!-- END TEMPLATE: navbar_link -->
