  1. I found that there are many diff Vaisnava groups.. I'm having a difficult time looking them up..

I know of these as titles of diff groups but no info about these groups individualy..

    Rudra Sampradaya,

    Brahma Sampradaya,

    Lakshmi Sampradaya,

    KumaraVaikhanasa Sampradaya,

    International Society for Krishna Consciousness,

    Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mission Sampradaya

Of course I can find ISKCON no problem but the others I cannot find much on.

  2. I just went to a Pentacostal Church tonight.. I cannot see any similarities accept for Morals and a supreme being. Other than that they differ alot in teachings.. Christ doesnt teach Samsara.. He doesnt teach Maya.. In Christianity your natural nature is Evil.. you need Christ to cover it up..

I find that when it comes to religion or politics we can never sway anyone to believe what we do. I believe you body is your temple, therefore, we have to start from the inside out. I know a young lady that said there is no GOD, yet all of her actions are of GOD. She is kind, compassionate, jump at the first opportunity to help another in their time of need. On the other hand, I have witnessed devotees just leaving temple and are discriminating, gossipping and not lifting a finger to help another in need.

I firmly believe that religion, was set up to milk those people that need a sense of belonging. Some people need something to hold on to to feel self worth. Example, if there were no laws for man to follow, everyone that thought the same way would form their own league, to have that sense of belonging. A reverend said to me that which God/father/mother would see their children suffering and not do anything to help their children? Why did GOD have only one son? As many times as the Bible or the other holy scriptures were revised that's the number of times that the information were altered. My brother said to me that GOD lives within each of us. That inner voice that speaks to us is our GODLY self. When we have thoughts to do good, we question it and not obey what we were told to do. Many times when we don't listen, we go wrong.......Bottom line is we were made in the IMAGE OF GOD, therefore, we are GOD.

Ummm.. how does this relate to my question?

  4. My name is Ken and I'm a beginner.. so I dont give much advice.. I try to comment where I have some knowledge of things. I live in New Hampshire USA. I first was a Christian for about 10 years.. I was then a Buddhist for about 5 Years and I converted to "Hinduism" a year and a half ago when I had a vision of Krishna.

  5. I had an experience that I had always thought was a memory from being within my mothers womb. There were high pitched sounds and flying colors.. and my mind felt as if it was being ripped apart. It wasnt exactly the most pleasent of memories. When I was a Buddhist we were discussing the Tibetan Book of the Dead and there was a description about one of the Bardos that fit my experience exactly. Again I ask if anyone knows of a Text that deals with the cycle of Reincarnation?

What a beautiful post Tirisilex. How refreshing a reminder of what God consciousness is really all about.

I think I may have felt like this many years back but have lost that pure attraction born of innocence by engaging in controversies and assorted mind games that have covered up that innocence.

Innocence lost. How does one regain that innocence once they let it slip away? May yours ever remain with you brother.

"One must be like unto a child to enter the kingdom of God."

Please accept my obeisances at your feet.

I wish I could do something to help you but I'm at a loss of what to do.. I'm so very new to this religion.. I'm not really sure what to say I am.. I'm a Krishna Worshipper? I'm a Hindu? Sanatana Dharma follower?
