according to the vedic literature, we on the earth are not alone in space, and we are not that significant either in the total creation eithr. stories of space travel and its relativistic consequences are there in there. so, relativity was well known long long (milleniums)ago before einstein.

hinduism is not a belief system. it is a complete science of spirituality, complete knowledge of god, and all the ways of realizing god. hinduism is about the truth only. hinduism is not a monopoly of any one. god is not a monopoly of any one either. hinduism says you are not a sinner. no one soul is. hinduism shows ways to get free from the past sins, and live sin free for now and future. a hindu's spiritual goal is to get free from the cycles of births and deaths. every living entity has a soul in the body. soul never dies. it changes bodies at/after death. a soul is capable to understand god and can do something to go to god only when it gets a human body. so a hindu does not want to waste this rare oppertunity. hope it helps.

yes, to non hindu and perticulary to anti hindus it is confusing. god is all powerful, can do anything, and his wish choice is final. so, he can appear to different people with His different names, forms, nature, etc. now this does no mean we can manufacture god. no. the vedic literature gives names and forms of god. one can choose from it, to be wise. else do as you please.
