do a google search for pushti marg, or vallabhacharya
-
very nice! thanks! please pick a user name. it helps.

you are not a hindu, a vedic person. a hindu would feel by you sauing this, just as a xian would feel when you tell him to forget the bible. it would be better if you forget to come here, or keep some respect for the vedic literature.

yes, the word bhai means brother. the name raj is of man.
-
it seems you do not know what mindhala is. any way, they tie. so what?
-
yes, but this: << & Sri Sri Jagadguru Madhvacharya are said to be immortals. >> i have not seen in bhagavatam. show a specific verse please. i know that madvacharya was an incarnation of bhima.

answer: no. however, chaitanya had predicted that KC will spread all over the world. did not say when.

forming new habits or breaking old ones is a matter of will power. some ways are: - do not stay alone. - go seek company. - get up and exercise. - take a cold bath. - take a vow to not touch it. - punish your sel if you do. - focus mind on the lotus feet of krishna or guru. - etc.

dear rraajj bhai, thanks for the understanding and support. when about 20-30% of the hindus of the world think unity of the hindus, and understand common global hindu interests, and feel a concern whe any other hindu is not treated right or hinduism not represented right, and speak up and or take some action, then we hindus would achieve our dharma and rashtra goals. any hindu who has attitudes like: apan ko kyaa? apan kya kar saktaa hai? chaltaa hai, hota hai. should give them up soon. you showed unity. aawaaz do, aawaaz do, aawaaz do, ham ek hai.n tanks again.

ok. for all practical pruposes the word hindu will work well than the word hinduist.

<< except for the gaudya vaishnavas i have not met any other religion based in india who said he/she is not a hindu. >> no. only the HK's do it. hardly any one in india before 1965 would say he is not a hindu. << Every one calls himself a sanatana dharmi, but the meaning is, for each one, extremely different so there's not a common concept of sanatana dharma that you can use for a common ground for everyone >> cannot agree based on truth i know. i have given ground once here, and i will not repeat. we hindus know it, and are happy. it is ok what ever you want to belive.

<< Say if i pray asking for something with devotion to the god , will it be granted based on the devotion or will it be based on my karma pala. >> both. however, no one can predict what the result would be. statistically, praying helps, and doing good karma helps. but doing karma for getting something is not recommended by krishna. do good work and forget that you did it. some one who has realized god, can get result most definitely by a prayer. an advanced karma yogi also can get the result most definitely. still, it cannot be 100%sure all the times one tries.

kindly give the source of the article. Thanks. parasuram was a brhmana, but whe he saw that kshatriyas were malprcticing dharma, he kill almost all of them on the earth, and he did it for 21 times, due to his rage. finally, rama incarnatd and checked him and he retired. the scriptures say that he is one of the immortals. in emergency situation, any one cna invoke any varna's spirit in response to the situation. terrorism is such a situation. all need to invoke kshatriya spirit to fight terrorism.

<< How can I ask Krishna whether I'll get something that I really really want. What is the best way to find out? >> you cannot find out. it is always unknwn. however, if you pray, with faith and love, like: "o krishna, if i get this or that, i will use it in your service" then it is more likely thta krishna will make you happy, regardless whether you get it or not.

very good post! pleae pick a username. it helps.

<< Please, kindly answer from a Hinduist point of view. >> you mean vedic view point. i wish no one uses the workd 'hinduist'. i have a feeling that those who use it are hindu haters or anti hindus.

<< You're right, this is a useless thread and I apologise. I will not post here again. The gita is really none of my business anyway, I was just totally fascinated by it (and lots of other Indian stuff like music, art, literature, cosmology, etc). Please forgive my ignorance, I will ask no further questions, and thanks to all for your kind responses. >> the above shows your good quality. i wish you derive maximum benefit from living per gita.

<< If you follow Vedas you are Aryan? >> yes, and that and that only makes one an aryan, per the vedic literature. hindu is just a new name of aryan dharma or sanatana dharma. that is as much truth as a statement "the sun rises in the east." sure the muslims gave the name, and the world accepted it, and the sanatana dharmis chose to live with it.
-
except for the Hk's i have not met any sanatana dharmi who said he/she is not a hindu. nor have i heard from hindu friends and relatives. lies do not help me.

bring him to the forum too. that way he can communicate directly.

<< ***Giving independence to Pakistan was a wise decision at the time.***** Actually, its a better decision even now. India is better off without the scum. >> All I see is a secure land is given to eternal anti-hindu ideology followers where they can cook and work plans to fight with us for no good reason. additionally, even when pak was made for muslims, gandhi allowed eh muslims to live in india. most of these muslims are pro pakistan than pro hindu or india. pak's terrorist network is sperad among these muslims. so in my view, parting was wrong, but allowing muslims to live in india after parting was also wrong. it defeated the whole purpose of parting. as i see it, we the hindus have created this pak problem out of foolish decisions made at different times in the history. and we need to fix it now. india is not a place for anti hindus. and hindus need to understand hinduism well and correctly and live by it without malpracticing it.

if advaita is gyan yoga, (as i understand it is) then krishna says in gita it is one of a few yogas. so it cannot be a problem for those who feel it easier than other yogas. krishna however says it is not easy for most.

no. useless thread. some have mean interest to totally shake off the base of hiduism-gita. perhaps most of the posts here are made by the same person or his gang.

in the past i have stated the fact here that santana dharma is inherently secular. it is much more than the meaning of the english word "religion". being so, a hindu state is not a non tolerant to any religion that in principle is not anti dharma (anti hindu). the idea of "secularism" is invented in the non vedic countries to separate "religion" from "church". so, when the non hindus see with their colored glasses hinduism, they cannnot see the reality about hinduism, and they keep opposing the idea of a hindu state. here i welcome/request good articles from the hindus expanding and establishing the above points.

<< What does it mean to say that the Self or God is free? >> god is totally free, and he give freedom to each soul, with advise as to how to choose wisely. a soul - jiva will suffer for his unwise exercise of free will. << Does He have free will? >> yes. for god, he wills, and it happens. no choice of his has any risk for him. << Free will implies multiple options and freedom to choose. >> yes, for us. << Does He have several options? >> no, he doesnot have to weighn one option agaisnt other. he wills and it happens. some very advanced saints also get this siddhi. then they really become very careful as to what they will. << Why does He choose one of them? >> we cannot question god. god is god. he wills and it happens. god is free from fear or risks. << In that case is He so ignorant of the future to have to choose from his options? >> future is what god chooses and wills. this does not mean we have no freedom either. you have freedom to jump in fire. but the fire has dharma to burh you. only in some miraculus situation the fire may choose to not burn you. << What governs His choice? >> if something governs his choice, then he is not god. << Nature or Prakriti? Is He a slave to His Nature? >> no. krishna has said: maYa'dhyakshena prakriti sUyate sacharaAcharam however, when god incarnates, he has option to behave as if he is under teh prikrit, just as a king has option to play to his child as if he is an ordinary person. << What desire makes Him choose? >> he does not choose. he just wills. basically he alwasy desires that each jiva come to him. he loves them all. << If He is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent, why does He have to have options, choices, freedom to choose or not to choose? >> again. he does not chosoe, he wills,a ndit happens anytime he chooses, eveninstantly. << Why? why? why? >> just as i said. << Does it not all add up to saying that such a God is a bundle of contradictions? >> no. but it may take several births for you to understand it. hope it hepls.
