  1. The first one was. Cross my heart. It is the abridged Gita.
  2. So I finally found the book, and found out how I got the impression about Lord Kesava:
  3. It appears it may well be Vishnu and Keshava on the Sri Isopanisad: CC Madhya 20.223-239:
  4. Well. They each refer to Their Lordships Caitanya Mahaprabhu and Nityananda Prabhu. Lord Caitanya is also called Gaura and Gauranga. And Nitai refers to Nityananda Prabhu. When I was first taught to chant japa, Krishna Katha das told me I could repeat the Panca Tattva mantra after each round when I made the turn at the head bead: Sri Krsna Caitanya Prabhu Nityananda Sri Advaita Gadadhara Srivasadi Gaura-bhakta-vrinda. Lord Caitanya is very merciful, accepting no offences, and chanting His name immediately elevates one to the transcendental plane. I guess the idea was that if there were offences against the mahamantra, this would help keep me on track. So I added it here, for some unknown reason, perhaps because there are all varieties of seekers on the forum. But hey, don't worry about me. Weren't you going somewhere?
  5. That show tonight at 8:00 EST is a must see. "Luther Vandross will also perform “My Sweet Lord” as a salute to George Harrison" Get hip, dude. Hundreds of millions will be there. My Sweet Lord!!!!!!!

  7. Anonymous, It is good that you worship God by His name, Allah. Say His name often. But please do not kill us because we know Him by many other names which describe His unlimited qualities and pastimes. He is the same worshipable God. The prophet Jesus knew Him by other names, and of course, we hear of the 99 names of Allah. Find Allah, the Primal causeless Person, and you will know Krishna, and the Vedas. gHari
  8. The "All Things Must Pass" site has now added the statement from the Harrison family that was issued when George passed away. And there will be a tribute to George at today's (Wednesday's) "American Music Awards" show, airing in the U.S. on ABC.
  9. Of course, the marble doesn't have to stand between us and Sri Krsna, but I'm afraid starving cows and kids will. There are only three major tenets of God consciousness: surrender, surrender, and surrender. We'll get it right, eventually. Of that I am sure.
  10. <img src=http://ns.server1004.net/stores/krishna/catalog/BSI.jpg>
  11. <center> <img src=http://home.earthlink.net/~jay540/syama.jpg> 1972 Bhagavad-gita As It Is </center> BTW, the paperback Sri Isopanisads I have depict Lord Keshava on the cover up to His waist in water, the hoods of Sesa-Ananta sheltering His head.

There is an error in it for the commentaries on the Brahma Samhita are attributed to His Divine Grace A.C. I was pleased to see that Bhakta Shab was more attentive and got this right earlier in the thread.
