  1. Karma is a natural process.. The cause of the black magic may be because of something you did against these people in a past life, or it could be new karmas they are making in the present life. Either way it is an evil act and generally is punished severely, the malefic results from these acts may occur in the present life or in the future lives, what kind of karmas will be meted out can not be known just on pure speculation.. It is best to focus on love for God and to not place too much attention on what has happened .. God is a great protector and your attention on God will give its own results, you do not need to focus on bad thoughts. The Divine takes care of everything.. Justice is inherent in the universe.. Every action causes an equally justifiable reaction..Nobody gets away with anything..
  2. black magic is common practice in india because of access to knowledge about different types of mantra and tantra... if one wants to avert black magic being done to them, the practical solution is to focus your mind and thoughts on god as a protective influence and because you understand that is your basic reality and that the only aspect of yourself that is wholly real is that part of you which is divine.. this should be done with great intensity and frequency.. it is possible to do this whilst doing everything else in the life.. it is not a religious solution.. it is a real solution..spirit and matter are connected (matter includes astral plane which is where black magic finds its outlet for expression)..religion has nothing to do with it.. there are only real solutions or foolish ones..
  3. the gaudiya vaishnava conception of shiva depends on the individual and is not limited to the written word *in the gita krsna says he is supreme, and krsna says he is OM *shiva's mind is always on narayana and narayana's mind is always on shiva.. they glorify each other equally.. *shiva says in one story he does not grant moksha, ... he says narayana grants moksha..narayana is the only one who rests above the ocean of illusion with consort laxmi.. *krsna has his eternal abode vrnadarvon which is not subject to the laws of time or the dissolution of the four cycles.. *one story in another book will say kali gives liberation and she is the absolute *krsna says he favours those who worship his dearest and nearest, another time he says he favours those who worship him, another time he says one's guru is as good as god.. another time he says he is in all and all is in him.. one should see him in everything the same... *it is stated clearly in places there are no differences between shiva and vishnu and yet in other places there are distinctive differences... so taking just these contradictions into account which is a very small piece of the pie, the vaishnava or shivaite perspective at the end of the day will be the same.. no one who is honest is going to try and limit their definition of Divine Supreme to just one "Name and Form" only. so the answer to your question depends entirely on the individual, how deep their interpretative understanding wants to go... which raises the obvious issue... it is all about Attitude not about Name.. . it is limiting to think that the moksha giver will not give moksha because of a "name" and a "form" or cannot work through any variety of "name" or "form" it chooses to, moksha is given to everyone with right attitude to Divine.. it comes down to the same two things for everybody.. humility, surrender of the ego and devotion.. .. there is no other approach.. one will see subtle distinctions in the names or forms without any differentiation in the supreme essence .. with this understanding, the vedas can demonstrate every conceivable contradiction possible without ever losing a grain of absolute truth or coherency.. all the descriptions of the deities, their names and forms are correct and can be taken as is.. the Truth or Conception is not just a linear picture made up of dualistic thoughts , and a particular movement's view depends on each and every individual.. spirituality or the "View" is not encompassed in a movement or organisation, it is in the hands of the individual..
  4. Only an excellent Astrologer can determine your true ishta deva if your ishta deva wants you to know through that vehicle.. There are many divine forces for different purposes in the chart.. but your own heart will tell you the truth better.. One should make effort to explore the heart within a framework of real vital and desperate need, if you are having trouble hearing what the heart is saying under a passive relaxed approach.. .. and if that true sincerity of effort fails, only then should you seek an Astrologer, if you are humble and your desire is truly sincere you will know your ishta deva on your own, have confidence that your ishta deva wants to reveal themself to you.. Faith is a great power..
  5. it sounds like samadhi experience.. you can see it as a powerful initiation step on the Path... anything is possible.. god can move objects.. god can split the sky in half for some.. you should continue your spiritual practice as usual and keep up your continuous prayers and follow where the heart is telling you to go without creating too much drama in your mind.. stabilize yourself and centre your prayers on god as usual and you will keep progressing... ..
  6. one's own inner sincerity, humility and devotion to god is the real power... you pray continously and god will help you... one who is completely dependant on god becomes independant from others, except god..
  7. There's a reason why Ganesha guards the door to the muladhara.. Any conscious kundalini practice is helped with his worship.. .. There are few spiritual teachers on the planet who are prepared to spend 24/7 teaching aspirants.. if one finds one they are lucky.. Before kundalini practice, one should be firmly established in their lifestyle, sattwic diet, sattwic activity..one should understand the technique of prayanama in case the solar or lunar channel get unbalanced in the awakening.. one should not lead a social lifestyle because it causes too much disturbance, one should limit cause of disturbance in all forms... .. penance and abstinence in sex is required if you have an attachment to it, but if you are married you don't have to abstain utterly if it is not a weakness or attachment. one should be firm about their ishta deva who is to be worshipped during the kundalini practice.. one should be very disciplined in their lifestyle and practice and try to acquire more knowledge on the subject as they are practicing.. kundalini awakening is not the be all and end all to spiritual liberation.. it helps one realise the omniprescence of god fully rather than just speculating on it.. but there is work to do after it is awakened ie. after it has risen fully to the crown chakra to achieve samadhi.. one can see it as a helpful achievement on the spiritual path.. if one is not serious on the spiritual path and wants to awaken the chakra just for its material benefits then one should not practice any type of kundalini awakening because it can lead to wrong attachment, and it is unlikely to raise very high anyway. even if one raises the kundalini that does not indicate mastery over any particular chakra.. that is a deep work in progress that has to continue regardless of samadhi experiences or not.. sincere devotion to one's deity will take care of the kundalini, so one does not need to obssess about that.. one should focus on god before anything else.
  8. Time is different for god than us humans.. so we cannot ourselves decide on the matter. But.. There are realized souls on the planet right now who have an avatar spirit and are fighting to uphold the dharma.. one should not look at the avatar in such a simple way.. The spirit works through many right now.. it can work through you.. we are very responsible for the changes on the planet.. this internal responsibility of our own spirituality transforms the entire universe..
  9. Navamsa chart shows the underlying strengths and weaknesses of the main Birth chart, the Rasi. If a planet is strong in rasi but weak in navamsa it will cause suffering and problems in the area of life it relates to in the navamsa.. as well as harming the inherent significations of the planet.. Navamsa indicates everything about the life, but from a more soul perspective.. it also gives finer details on the spouse or marriage in various ways.. it also reveals more about the spiritual nature of a native and the potential for moksha.. it is the God fate, or spiritual workings of life which aren't always obvious in the Rasi chart.. One might have a particular career in the Rasi chart, but what does it mean, what is it for on a deeper spiritual level.. it is too vast a subject for study to list all the technical and interpretative intricacies of those things here..
  10. when kundalini starts to get activated many problems can appear if the chakra getting activated is weak.. the chakra has to be purified in order for the kundalini to pass through smoothly... you can do japa, but stop doing your meditation and learn to practice some simple pranayama, when the mind is going crazy it usually indicates an imbalance in the solar channel, so one should close the right nostril and breathe through the left nostril deeply and slowly to calm down.. you can see which nostril is blocked by closing one and breathing through the other one.. if one is blocked you should try and balance it through the other one..you should do some very simple form of deep breathing everyday to regulate the flow of breath.. you should concentrate on your deity as a protective influence.. when you take up meditation again you should do mantra to lord ganesh at the beginning each time to remove obstacles.. ganesh guards the door to the rising of kundalini.. and will strengthen the first chakra muladhara.. when this chakra is weak one is afraid, and has no internal stability.. so try and focus on ganesh mantra for some time to give you a solid foundation from which to continue your kundalini meditation practice.. diet is very important for kundalini.. you must not eat meat, eggs or processed foods.. you should live sattwic life, no unnecessary socializing, no tv, no alcohol or intoxicants.. no activities that will increase inner disturbance..
  11. your kundalini is trying to act through one side.. ie. the solar channel.. you need to do some prayanama.. when you start to feel overheating , you should close the right nostril and breathe steadily through the left nostril to cool down and balance the energies.. you can even lie down on your right side at that time as it helps the left nostril open..you should take some cooling drinks or melon at that time too... .. for kundalini to rise properly both the solar and lunar channel must be equally balanced so it can rise up through the middle.. so you should pay attention to the nostrils to help keep your balance. breathing through right nostril will increase heat, the left nostril will cool.. you should practice some simple, but very moderate pranayama on a daily basis (not excessive) , any good yoga book will explain, to help learn to control the flow of breath better..
  12. according to the vedas the universe is destroyed at the end of kali yuga, the current age..everyone has a different opinion on where the greater cycle of kali yuga ends (because these 4 cycles can operate in shorter time periods as miniature cycles), it is thought by many scholars the end of the great Kali yuga is still 400 000 or more years in the future, once this happens everything is dissolved again back into the void, until the cycles, four ages begin again, it is an infinite cycle without an end, the material world dies but it is only a temporary death..
  13. ishta deva is the one you love the most, the one you are most deeply attracted to.. one can be attracted to many gods, but if you imagine vividly realistically and deeply for a moment that in the next remaining minute you are about to die, who is the one you will call out for above all others from the deepest most honest place in the heart.. that is your ishta deva.. don't worry what others say.. the ishta deva is a very personal thing.. it is up to you!!!
  14. god is all pervading.. everywhere, there is nothing that exists beyond god.. god is the infinite.. god cannot be defined by terms, good and bad, good and bad exists within creation, depending on which perspective your looking from, but good and bad are just terms for our linear limited human understanding...they are nothing by which one can understand god..
  15. in today's world and the current age, it is difficult to find an authentic spiritual teacher, the 24/7 kind. if that's what you are seeking, then it should be an overwhelming need and desire. you should pray to god in the form that attracts you, and you should pray with utmost dedication and frequency. you can find spiritual helpers along the way, such as through the internet, you can join a group which helps you get started in some kind of spiritual practice, you can read to increase your knowledge, but if you are seeking the ever present 24/7 guru and if your seeking is sincere and the only goal that matters, the teacher will appear in your life at the appointed time. but you must take steps towards that direction as you seem to be doing. not everyone is destined to have that kind of guru, if you are sincere in spiritual practice and pray fervently, (praise to divine through divine's holy name) you will recognise the spiritual teacher in everything and everyone. every moment in life has something to teach you if you intoxicate yourself with god, the learning begins.
  16. You will know when your kundalini is awakened, because you will feel it travelling upwards through your being. The symptoms are different for everybody, because some people experience the awakening of it without conscious effort, as a fated accident. But most people do need intense focus on some object coupled with an intensity of desire. Some people have many visions, some people become afraid at certain points because the chakra that the kundalini is travelling through has some weakness and requires purification,so the experience can be both unpleasant at points and then completely ecstatic, but everybody will experience it rising, it is a very real tactile experience in one's being. Once it reaches the top chakra you will experience tremendous unity with everything and become oblivious to anything except the presence of divine. So do not worry, you will know when it happens. There is no vagueness about it and no need for mental speculation. When it happens you will definitely understand.
  17. Krishna was asking Arjuna to do his divine duty, or service. Everybody has a duty to perform, the act itself whether it is benign or fierce is of no relevance... it is that one is doing the service they are born to do in order to serve the Divine. A kshatriya's role is to fight and uphold the dharma. If it involves killing those who are fighting on the wrong side, then that is the duty. It is only the material body being killed, it is not the soul. Their souls were getting liberated as was Arjuna's for doing his duty.
  18. Namaste, Demons act on the mind, before they act on the body. Although it is difficult, do not be afraid first of all. You must surrender your fear to the God you are praying to, to protect you. You must have faith in that deity, and surrender your fear completely to that deity. You must not be afraid of the consequences once you surrender your fear. Let it go, let the deity take it from you. It does not matter which deity you pray to. But it is said that Kali kills problems quickly, but any name of God is powerful. No complicated mantra is required...Even if you say Om Kali Ma, or Om Sri Vishnave, or Om Namah Shivaya they are all as powerful. It is the intensity and the all pervading approach that you apply to it. You must be intensely obssessive about the focus on a particular deity, which means you must recite the name all the time when you work when you site regardless of what activity you are doing, it is more effective to recite it mentally, and not allow other thoughts to distract your process, no voices either. You should keep a flame lit as much as possible as a symbol of purity and imagine that the deity is with you at all times.Imagine that nothing exists except the deity. You must think nothing else. Whenever you find yourself getting distracted by voices, emotional thoughts, etc.. you must destroy these things quickly in the mindand concentrate harder on the deity and their name. Everything belongs to god, even demons, so imagine god everywhere in everything. God is everywhere, that is the only thought you need to hold in your mind. Don't worry what the voices say, demons are liars, there is nothing to fear from them.At the very basis of existence, there is only god. Do not make the demons more real than god. Take your interest off them and put it on God, just God and God's name. Demons can say anything to protect their survival. It requires tremendous concentration , sincere love for the deity you pray to and complete surrender. Each time you say the lord's name with great concentration, the demon is terrified, so they will lie and do any kind of trick so do not be so easily fooled, but you are destroying them every time and they themselves finally succumb to the love of the name of God, and no longer can act. You should know that. That is absolute Truth. This focus will cure your problem, but your approach must be 100%. Surrender your fear, your body, your mind to the deity. Om namah Shivaya
