Lords of trines conjunct in house of kutumba and gains! Great isnt that - but strenghtens FAMILY TIES Next, guru-mangal in 4th - good for business prospects, but mangal is param akaraka for virgo ascendants. However, swagrahi guru in 4th house of home/mother, etc - guru gives great shadbala factor- strengthens ties further. Next, look at moon - vrishchika raashi people are undergoing kantaka shani period - which means obstacles, delays..Moon is eclipsed with Rahu - speaks of a lot of troubles mentally for the native. Moon is also the lord of 11th house - upachaya for wish fulfilment! Rahu is in Marana Karaka Awastha but it lords the sixth house and therefore its placement here is very good for the native - it only harms moon...that is bad. Lagna Lord mercury is deeply combust - have you thought why and how Sun is not even in the same bhava.. Seshu ji, The problem with astrology is that people become prone to let predictions become a dominating factor..i dont like that because we must live in full hope and continue using education and logic in leading our lives. As I understand, yantra is not supposed to be purchased, rather made by own self and worshipped. I have to still read alot about effects and uses of yantra, and therefore cannot comment on that aspect. Regarding birthstones, you may go in for 5.25 carat of emerald and 3 carat of zircon which is standard, unless you are grossly overweight in which case you need to increase the weight. Dear Abhimanyu, For mithun lagna, saturn lords a trine and is a friend of mercury your lagna lord. Therefore, theoretically, wearing Neelam especially during Saturn Mahadasha (which is the case with you) is considered beneficial if worn along with emerald. However there are reasons why I dont like recommending neelam - A blemished Sapphire (Neelam) is the cause of many miseries. If the Sapphire (Neelam) has white lines on it, it is bad for the eyes. The whitish (milky) stone brings poverty. A cracked blue sapphire brings accidents to the native. The dual coloured stone may cause troubles from the enemy side. The dull coloured Sapphire (Neelam) causes distress and worries to nears and dears. I have my doubts upon the kind of stone you will get - as these days, even if one has to spend one is not sure of how clear the stone is. If it isnt....? Alternatively, there are remedies which will 100% benefit you. Shri Sharma (astro_tech) is the most dependable astrologer in our forum and nobody can challenge his absolutely strong conceptual knowledge. Dear Abhimanyu, 1. There is a partial kaal sarp dosh in your chart, but we dont believe in it. However, you may like to get rudrabhishek done on a shiv ling on monday with milk/curd - that should suffice. 2. There are all indications for success in career front - but after lot of struggle. Sorry for the confusion, Saturn's saadsati at that time was causing problems, Saturn Mahadasha is overall fine but as astro_tech ji pointed out, Sat-Sat antardasha will cause delay. This period ends on 16 march 2009, after which prospects are really bright
