of recognition for these books? I ask because there are no yogas connected with

Mercury in swakhestra with 5L Sun is an excellent combination and as a trinal lord Sun would boost up Mercury's karakatwas. These are the good effects of mer-sun conjuntion. What is the difference in mer-sun longitudes you've not mentioned. But a careful balancing must be done because certain significations might still suffer. All planets are responsible for some good effects, but also some bad effects. Communication will surely get better as Sun is also lord of bhavat bhavam in this case and give good oratorial skills and glorious way of expressing oneself.
