1. http://srimadbhagavatam.com/1/12/6/en1 TRANSLATION O brahmanas, the opulence of the King was so enchanting that the denizens of heaven aspired for it. But because he was absorbed in the service of the Lord, nothing could satisfy him except the Lord's service. PURPORT There are two things in the world which can satisfy living beings. When one is materially engrossed, he is satisfied only by sense gratification, but when one is liberated from the conditions of the material modes, he is satisfied only by rendering loving service for the satisfaction of the Lord. This means that the living being is constitutionally a servitor, and not one who is served. Being illusioned by the conditions of the external energy, one falsely thinks himself to be the served, but actually he is not served; he is servant of the senses like lust, desire, anger, avarice, pride, madness and intolerance. When one is in his proper senses by attainment of spiritual knowledge, he realizes that he is not the master of the material world, but is only a servant of the senses. At that time he begs for the service of the Lord and thus becomes happy without being illusioned by so-called material happiness. Maharaja Yudhishthira was one of the liberated souls, and therefore for him there was no pleasure in a vast kingdom, good wife, obedient brothers, happy subjects and prosperous world. These blessings automatically follow for a pure devotee, even though the devotee does not aspire for them. The example set herein is exactly suitable. It is said that one who is hungry is never satisfied by anything other than food. The whole material world is full of hungry living beings. The hunger is not for good food, shelter or sense gratification. The hunger is for the spiritual atmosphere. Due to ignorance only they think that the world is dissatisfied because there is not sufficient food, shelter, defense and objects of sense gratification. This is called illusion. When the living being is hungry for spiritual satisfaction, he is misrepresented by material hunger. But the foolish leaders cannot see that even the people who are most sumptuously materially satisfied are still hungry. And what is their hunger and poverty? This hunger is actually for spiritual food, spiritual shelter, spiritual defense and spiritual sense gratification. These can be obtained in the association of the Supreme Spirit, Lord Sri Krishna, and therefore one who has them cannot be attracted by the so-called food, shelter, defense and sense gratification of the material world, even if they are relished by the denizens of the heavenly planets. Therefore, in the Bhagavad-gita (8.16) it is said by the Lord that even in the topmost planet of the universe, namely the Brahmaloka, where the duration of life is multiplied by millions of years by earth calculation, one cannot satisfy his hunger. Such hunger can be satisfied only when the living being is situated in immortality, which is attained in the spiritual sky, far, far above the Brahmaloka, in the association of Lord Mukunda, the Lord who awards His devotees the transcendental pleasure of liberation.
2. You have material desire, higher than any desire can be {material} My desire is higher than yours even. But it is trancendental desire {spiritual}. For example you want to merge with God as you believe you were once God, and now have come here. You also believe everybody is God and should merge. This is your vedict of Vedas. So we give you name which is called Mayavadi. This was rampant in India at one time. And Srila Madhvacharya of *Brahma **Madhava ***Gaudiya Sampradaya. *Brahma **Madvacharya {incarnation of servant of Lord Rama} ***Chaitanya {Sri Krishna as His own devotee} Basically talked on this subject matter. {my goal is not to defeat you, who am I?}. But to provide infomation which is handed down through Sampradaya. {of which there are 4}. As you well know. I do not know what your motive is. And I do not very much care. But DO NOT offend Krishna or our Archaryas. This forum is for all. Discuss in open manner. I hope thats why you come here to gain knowledge and not just paste stuff. We don't goto school to parrot we goto learn. So admit what you are to all. Don't hide behind the Vedas. Awaiting your reply without sastra/
3. makes me even more attached to Krishna.
4. Ok I am being harrased by this mad devotee. Saying things about me. I give up. Everywhere I go this person is there. I like to spead KC in my own way. I'll have to find other means. I'm not even posting here. Plus my wannado is being cut off. Hell on fire! This must be Krishna mercy. Well I will get spiritually made. Then hope can preach on street not just behind a comp. Is this good idea? Stalker!
5. Privet! Ya govoryu na russkom horosho. ponimat? hahaha. Not really.
6. Hare Krishna. Ok I talked with a Mayavadi on-line {by chance} Boy what were the chances of that happening? lol He said he wants to merge with pure water. I said can you swim {ok i didn't i just thought that up now}. But I we went on {he was playing mind games} I am pretty good at spotting ppls who do that. So eventually after He declared to me I he was Krishna. I said what did I do yesterday. He said you were thinking about shoes. Now at this point a normal person would be YES! I was. I am not normal. I said i wore sandels {its hot here ok}. So he said he is 8 years old in God years. I said I was 2. {must be something in the water} Karana! Who fell 1st me or him? That was the next question. Starting to parrot one. Finally cornered him. Hopefully he will read Gita. {not sure}. That analogy of water and bowl by Madhavacharya is timeless. Volume changes, but not merge. Use it! Not me. I am goona chant!
7. Prabhu, must be a reason behind it. Just as Lord Buddha rejected Vedas priniciple of sacrifice. To propagate ahimsa {compassion for all like forms} Seems to have forgotten the meaning for ahimda-P So all Avatara/Incarnations have this. Hare Krishna
8. Hare Krishna Ok I don't understand, 1#Path of Voidness 2#Path of Mayavadi 3#Path of Impersonal concept of God. Destination.. 1. Voidness is between the Brahmajyoti and this Material Universe. 2. Brahmajyoti 3. Heaven {no realization of personal features of Godhead} In this the realization that God is indeed with Form must come immediately after attainment of heaven. Ok not exactly conclusive. It would take a genious to present all the paths. So see above posts by guest! ALL paths lead to God. Ultimate aim is Krishna. {personal feature}.
9. ~1 we are all expansions of Krishna is one capacity or another we belong to Jiva-tattva. That is our only position unchangeable as the sea. ~2 Mahesh is special as he is neither jiva or vishnu-tattva. A jiva cannot attain this level. Unless he is empowered by Krishna is some capacity. But thats again only temporary like Lord Brahma. Lord Brahma belong to category of Jiva-tattva. Empowered. After all this it is not possible to say who is higher as they are all needed. But in reality there is only one Supreme above all that is Lord Vishnu. Hare Krishna
10. Ekadasi Calender {Best site in my opinion} http://www.goloka.com/docs/calendar/index.html ___ Parama Ekadasi Yudhisthira Maharaja said, "0 Supreme Lord, what is the name of the Ekadasi that occurs during the dark fortnight of the extra, leap-year month. Also, 0 master of all the universes, what is the process for observing it properly? Kindly narrate all this to me." The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Sri Krsna, replied, "0 Yudhisthira, this meritorious day is called Parama Ekadasi. It bestows the great benediction of an enjoyable life and ultimate liberation from birth and death. The process for observing it is similar to that for observing the Ekadasi. that occurs during the light part of the month of Kartika. That is to say, on this Ekadasi one should worship Me, the best of all living beings, with full love and devotion. In this connection I will now tell you a wonderful history, just as I heard it from the great sages in the city of Kampilya. "Once a very pious brahmana named Sumedha resided in Kampilya with his wife, Pavitra, who was extremely chaste and devoted to her husband. On account of having committed some sin in his previous life, Sumedha was without any money or food grains, and even though he begged many people for food, he could not obtain any substantial amount. He hardly had adequate food, clothing, or shelter for himself and his beautiful young wife, who was of such excellent character that she continued to serve Sumedha faithfully despite their poverty. When guests would come to their home, Pavitra would give them her own food, and although she often went hungry, her beautiful, lotuslike face never faded. This fasting made her weak, but her affection for Sumedha remained unbreakable. "Seeing all this, and lamenting his bad luck, Sumedha one day said to Pavitra, 'My dear wife, 0 most beautiful one, I beg alms from the rich but receive scarcely a scrap. What am I to do? What possible relief is there for our plight? Where should I go for relief? 0 most obedient and loving wife, without enough wealth, household affairs are never successful.' Therefore please permit me to go abroad and attain some wealth. If I make such an effort, I shall certainly obtain whatever fortune I am destined to enjoy. Without making some endeavor a person cannot satisfy his desires or meet his needs. Thus wise men have said that enthusiastic endeavor is always auspicious.' "Upon hearing her husband speak these words, Pavitra joined her palms and, her eyes brimming with tears, spoke to him with great respect and affection: 'I think there is no one greater or more learned than you, my dear. One who, though in misery, is interested in the welfare of others speaks just as you have. However, the scriptures state that whatever wealth a person attains in this life is due to his having given charity in previous lives, and that if one has not given any charity in previous lives, then even though he may sit atop a mound of gold as big as Mount Sumeru, he will remain poor. Whatever charity a person gives in the form of education, money, fertile land, and the like is returned to him in a future lifetime. We gain what we have given. Indeed, whatever the Lord of destiny, the creator, has written as one's fortune will certainly come to pass. No one attains any wealth without having given charity in his previous life. 0 best of the brahmanas, since we are now poor, in our previous lives neither you nor I must have given any charity to worthy persons. Therefore, 0 gracious husband, you should remain here with me. Without you I cannot live even for a moment. "'Bereft of her husband, a woman is not welcomed by her father, mother, brother, father-in-law, or any other family members. Everyone will say, "You have lost your husband; you are bad luck!" In this way I shall be criticized severely! Please, therefore, stay here with me and be satisfied with whatever wealth we get. Whatever is destined, we shall obtain in due course of time and enjoy here in perfect happiness.' "Hearing these plaintive words from his wife, Sumedha decided to remain in their native village. One day the great sage Kaundinya arrived at their place, and upon seeing him the brahmana Sumedha and his wife stood up before him and then offered him their respectful obeisances. With his head bowed, Sumedha welcomed him: 'We are very fortunate to behold you here today, 0 wisest of sages. My life has become successful, and I am much obliged to you. "Sumedha offered Kaundinya Muni a comfortable seat and highly praised his austerities and learning. 'Just by having your darsana today,' said Sumedha, 'I have become very fortunate.' The poor brahmana couple fed the sage as sumptuously as they could afford to, and afterwards Pavitra asked the mendicant, '0 most learned one, what process can we follow to be relieved of our poverty? How can a person who has not given anything in charity in his previous life get a good family, much wealth, and a fine education in this life? My husband wants to leave me here and go abroad to beg alms, but I have earnestly prayed to him to stay here with me. I humbly told him that if one lacks wealth in the present life, it is because of not having given sufficient charity in previous lifetimes. And so he has consented to remain here. It is only due to my great fortune that you have mercifully come here today. Now we are certain to see the end of our poverty very soon. '0 best of the brahmanas, please tell us how we can be free of this perpetual misery brought on by poverty. 0 merciful one, kindly describe some means-a place of pilgrimage we may visit, a day of fasting we may observe, or an austerity we may performby which our ill fortune will end forever.' "Hearing this sincere supplication from that patient lady, the great sage Kaundinya reflected silently for a moment and then said, 'There is a fast day very dear to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Hari. Fasting on this day nullifies all kinds of sins and removes all miseries caused by poverty. This fast day, which occurs during the dark part of the extra, leap-year month, is known as Parama Ekadasi. It is the topmost day of Lord Visnu. This extra-month, dark-fortnight Ekadasi bestows all the necessities of life, such as money and food grains, and at last gives liberation. When the evening of this day comes, one should begin singing the glories of the Lord and dancing in ecstasy, and one should continue through the entire night. "'This holy fast was once observed faithfully by Lord Kuvera. When Lord Siva saw how strictly he had fasted, Siva became very pleased and made Kuvera the treasurer of heaven. Also, King Hariscandra fasted on this Ekadasi after his dear wife and son had been sold, and the king was able to get them back. Thereafter he ruled his kingdom with no further impediments. Therefore, 0 broad-eyed lady, you also should observe the sacred fast of Parama Ekadasi, following all the appropriate rules and regulations and remaining awake all night."' Lord Krsna continued, "0 Yudhisthira, son of Pandu, in this way Kaundinya Muni mercifully and affectionately instructed Pavitra about the Parama Ekadasi fast. Then he said to Sumedha, 'On Dvadasi, the day after Ekadasi, you should vow to observe Pancaratrika fasting according to all the rules and regulations. After taking a bath early in the morning, you and your good wife, along with both your parents and hers, should fast for five days according to your ability. Then you will all become eligible to return home, to the abode of Lord Visnu. " 'A person who simply makes use of only one seat during these five days goes to the heavenly planets. Whoever feeds qualified brahmanas nicely on these five days has in effect fed all the demigods, all human beings, and even all the demons. Whoever donates a pot of drinking water to a twice-born brahmana during this five-day fasting period will gain merit equal to that gained by donating the entire planet earth in charity. Anyone who gives a learned person a pot filled with sesame seeds resides in heaven for as many years as there are seeds in the pot. One who donates a pot filled with golden ghee will surely go to the abode of the sun-god after fully enjoying the pleasures of this earthly planet. Whoever remains celibate during these five days will attain celestial happiness and enjoy with the maidens of Indraloka. Therefore both of you-Sumedha and Pavitra-should fast during these five days of Pancaratrika in order to be rewarded with ample grains and wealth for the rest of your lives on this planet. The spiritual world will be your abode thereafter.' "Hearing this sublime advice, the brahmana couple, Sumedha and Pavitra, properly observed Parama Ekadasi and the fast of Pancaratrika, and very soon thereafter they beheld a handsome prince approaching them from the royal palace. On the orders of Lord Brahma, the prince gave them a beautiful, exquisitely furnished house and invited them to live in it. Praising their austerity and patience, he also gave them an entire village for their livelihood. Then he returned to the palace. Thus Sumedha and his wife enjoyed all kinds of facilities in this world and at last went to the abode of Visnu. "Anyone who observes a fast on Parama Ekadasi and also the fast of Pancaratrika is freed from all his sins, and after enjoying life here he returns to Visnuloka, as did the brahmana Sumedha and his faithful wife, Pavitra. It is impossible, 0 Yudhisthira, to calculate the extent of the merit one obtains by fasting on Parama Ekadasi, for such an observance is equal to bathing in places of pilgrimage such as Puskara Lake and the Ganges River, giving cows in charity, and performing all sorts of other religious activities. One who fasts on this day has also completed the offerings of oblations to his forefathers in Gaya. He has, in effect, fasted on all other auspicious days. "As in the social order the brahmana is considered the best, as among four-legged creatures the cow is best, and as among demigods Lord Indra is the best, so among all months the extra month of leap-year is the best. The Pancaratrika fast-the fast of five days in the extra, leap-year month--is said to remove all kinds of abominable sins. But the Pancaratrika fast, together with the fasts on Parama and Padmini Ekadasi destroys all a person's sins. If a person is unable to fast on all these days, he should observe the fasts during the extra month according to his ability. A person who, having received a human birth, does not take a proper bath during this extra month and then observe these Ekadasis, which are very dear to Lord Hari, commits suicide and suffers in the cycle of 8,400,000 species. The rare human birth is meant for accumulating merit and at last achieving liberation. Therefore one should by all means observe fasting on this auspicious Parama Ekadasi Lord Sri Krsna concluded, "0 sinless Yudhisthira, as you have requested, I have described to you the wonderful merit one can attain by fasting on the Ekadasi named Parama, which occurs during the dark part of the extra, leap-year month. You should observe this fast if at all possible." King Yudhisthira did exactly as Lord Krsna had instructed, and so did all his brothers and their wife, Draupadi. After enjoying pleasures rarely achieved in the material world, they returned home, back to Godhead. Whoever, after taking a proper bath, observes a fast on these two extra-month Ekadasis will go to heaven and finally attain to the abode of Sri Vishnu, and as he travels there he will be praised and prayed to by all the demigods. ___
11. Well you I am proven right. See this: Guru-------------disciple------knowledge. Understand /images/graemlins/smirk.gif Ps. Thiest are you doing an English cource. Having trouble understanding. Too 'high' for me.
12. I understand your points. But you cannot know my reasons for asking. Last time I looked this was a Forum. Seems whenever I ask a question I am judged becasue I have Dasa on the end of my name. This is not negation Consiosuness. Its Krishna Consiousness. I will ask questions when I choose and please. I heard this is what happens with devotees, questions are brushed under the carpet 'just chant prabhu'. Anybody home? I have a mind. Chanting will be more effective when you know WHY. YOU CHANT!
13. Hare Krishna What is the destination of Mayavadi Impersonalists. And after they achieve this, they fall down again. Thats plain to see. So is there desire to go back inherent? Like Krishna devotees want to back to Godhead. Thats plain to see. So my questions is. Both have fell-down. So a Mayavadi would say but you have also fell-down. So what is behind this? Is it only desire? to be God...wait did I answer my own question. But when we were envious of Krishna we fell-down. Is Mavayadi desire higher' they actually WANT to be God. So is this down to levels of enviousness only? Ok I have asked many questions. I need some straight answers Now.
14. go here. Letter by Prabhupada and some more Yashodanandana explain. Thread: Ekadasi Vrat jai SRI NITAI
15. Sai Barney may have millions of followers. Many may follow Mayavadi. End of the day you still Mayavadi's. What has changed? Exploiting Gita and saying I don't believe Krishna is not true. Lord Siva will not be pleased. You reject Bhagavatam, yet quote Shiva-Purana. Igonorance. You make up your own religion. Don't belong to ANY Parampara. Let me ask you WHO IS YOUR FOUNDER? You don't know. Stop being offensive and talk like a man Barney.
16. well we don't read Mayavadi Gita. Thats what you've read. Where is Ksatriya Madhava? This Barney is a Muslim /images/graemlins/laugh.gif /images/graemlins/blush.gif Come on get you stuff together. Chant Hare Krishna/
17. Yes why not? As long as he has little faith. Or even if he does not he should devolop it. Power is there. Car can be powerful but it needs to be started first. You must chant. And if not why not? I will bugg you until you do. lol
18. Morning Walk, November 2, 1975, Nairobi Brahmananda: The quality of the chanting he's asking. How can we make the quality the best? Prabhupada: Quality, you'll understand first of all come to the quality. Without having quality, how he'll understand the quality? You follow the instruction of your spiritual master, of the sastra. That is your duty. Quality, no quality--it is not your position to understand. When the quality comes there is no force. You will have a taste for chanting. You will desire at that time, "Why sixteen round? Why not sixteen thousand rounds?" That is quality. That is quality. It is by force. You'll not do it; therefore at least sixteen rounds. But when you come to the quality, you will feel yourself, "Why sixteen? Why not sixteen thousand?" That is quality, automatically. Just like Haridasa Thakura was doing. He was not forced to do. Even Caitanya Mahaprabhu, He requested, "Now you are old enough. You can reduce." So he refused, "No. Up to the end of my life I shall go on." That is quality. Have you got such tendency that you will go on chanting and nothing to do? That is quality. Now you are forced to do. Where is the question of quality? That is given a chance so that one day you may come to the quality, not that you have come to the quality. Quality is different. Athasaktih. Asakti, attachment. Just like Rupa Gosvami says that "How shall I chant with one tongue, and how shall I hear, two ears? Had it been millions of tongue and trillions of ear, then I could enjoy it." This is quality. Quality is not so cheap. Maybe after many births. For the time being you go on following the rules and regulations. It is being done by force. Where is the quality? So you wanted to understand quality. This is the quality. You'll not be forced, but automatically you'll desire. That is quality. I am writing books. I am not being forced by anyone. Everyone can do that. Why one does not do it? Why I get up at night, one o'clock, and do this job? Because I cannot do without it. How one will do it artificially? This is quality. Therefore they like my purports. That quality is shown by Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Sunyayitam jagat sarvam govinda virahena me. "Oh, I do not see Govinda. The whole world is vacant." Sunyayitam jagat sarvam govinda virahena me. This is quality. Just like we have got practical example. One man's beloved has died, and he is seeing the whole universe vacant. Is it vacant? So that is quality of love. So there is no formula of quality. It is to be understood by himself. Just like if after eating something you feel refreshed and get strength, that is quality. You haven't got to take certificate: "Will you give me a certificate that I have eaten?" You'll understand whether eaten or not. That is quality. When you will feel so much ecstasy in chanting Hare Krsna, that is quality. Not artificially--"Chant. Chant. Otherwise get out." This is not quality. This is in expectation that someday you may come to quality. That requires time. That requires sincerity. But quality is there. Sravanadi suddha citte karaye... It will be awakened. Not by force.
19. Get to know that Krsna. Your long-lost friend. develop our love for Krsna little by little, little by little. /images/graemlins/smirk.gif Srimad-Bhagavatam 3.26.1 Bombay, December 13, 1974 (excerpt) Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada: If you can learn how to see Krsna within the heart always, twenty-four hours, then your life is successful. That is perfection of life. That is Krsna consciousness movement, how you can learn to see Krsna within your heart, within other’s heart, and everywhere. Sthavara-jangama dekhe na dekhe tara murti. This is wanted. So this is possible by increasing our love for Krnsa. Simply we have to increase our love. Just like in practical life also, we begin to love somebody, one after another, gradually, not all of a sudden, similarly, we have to increase our love for Krsna. That love for Krsna is the devotional process. sravanam kirtanam visnoh smaranam .-sevanam arcanam vandanam dasyam sakhyam atma-nivedanam [sB 7.5.23] Then surrender. That is the ultimate state of loving affairs, surrender. Why one should surrender to another person unless there is love? Just like wife surrenders to husband and husband protects the wife. This is general duty. So why one man is interested with one woman for giving her all protection, and why one man is surrendered to..., one woman is surrendered to one man? What is the basic principle? The basic principle is love. So similarly, our full surrender, full Krsna consciousness, can be achieved when we develop our love for Krsna little by little, little by little, and then come to the perfection. When we come to the perfection, then we cannot live without Krsna. Just like Caitanya Mahaprabhu taught us. In the last stage of His life He exhibited such manifestation of love that He was dying without Krsna. -- wondering how to start? so am I... SB:3.27.21 Purport(except) ..so here it is also prescribed by Kapila Muni that one can transcend material entanglement by acting in Kåñëa consciousness, which means seriously engaging in devotional service. This serious devotional service can develop by hearing for long periods of time. Chanting and hearing is the beginning of the process of devotional service. One should associate with devotees and hear from them about the Lord’s transcendental appearance, activities, disappearance, instructions, etc. -- Wait am I waiting for then?.. Bg.7.3 Purport (excerpt) "No one knows Me as I am," the Lord says. And if one does know Him, then "sa mahatma su-durlabhah.Such a great soul is very rare." Therefore unless one practices devotional service to the Lord, he cannot know Krsna as He is (tattvatah), even though one is a great scholar or philosopher. --
20. from above: 29. Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati, Sri Barshabhanavidayitadas, 30. Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta. Sri Barshabhanavidayitadas is Guru also..? I don't recall hearing name, can somebody tell me. Thanking you..
21. Letter to: Upendra -- Los Angeles 13 February, 1968 68-02-13 San Francisco My Dear Upendra, Please accept my blessings. I am so glad to hear that you are released now; this I expected when you came to see me. I entrusted the matter to Krishna to give you release. Anyway, Krishna has been so much merciful upon you that He has taken you out of the state laws. So in every kind of miseries we have to depend on Krishna and we should not be too much disturbed when such miseries come upon us. You have shown very great example in sticking yourself to chanting Hare Krishna while you were in tribulation. Follow this practice all along your life, and surely Krishna will accept you into the Kingdom of God, Back to Godhead. So far going to India: For the time being, it may be postponed because there is good prospect of starting a center at Berkeley, and Gargamuni is arranging for that. I think Gargamuni and yourself and Krishna das may be the main figures in conducting this center. In the meantime, the Indian center may be organized by Acyutananda, and later on we shall have to see where we shall have to concentrate more energy on the Brahmacaris. Your strong desire to serve me is very beautiful; your serving me means serving Krishna. I am also your servant so I cannot accept your service from you, or from any of my disciples. I accept service from my disciples on behalf of Krishna. Just like a tax collector must collect for the treasury, not for himself. If he himself touches so much as a farthing it would be unlawful. So I have no right to accept service from any disciple, but on behalf of Krishna I can accept. Sincere service to the Spiritual Master is service to the Supreme Lord. As stated in the prayer, ``Prasadad Bhagavat Prasadad''. That means because Krishna accepts service through the via media of Spiritual Master, therefore pleasing the Spiritual Master is equal to pleasing the Supreme Lord. There are four Sampradayas from the beginning of the creation. One is called Brahma Sampradaya, and is coming down by disciplic succession from Brahma; another Sampradaya is coming down from Laksmi, called Sri Sampradaya; another is coming down from the Kumaras, they are known as Nimbarka Sampradaya; another Sampradaya is coming from Lord Siva, Rudra Sampradaya or Visnu Swami. These are four bona fide Sampradayas that are accepted by the bona fide spiritualists. The Impersonalist Sampradaya is not original neither the Impersonalist Sampradaya or party can help us. At the present moment there are so many Sampradayas, but we have to test them about their method of disciplic understanding. Anyway, all the four Sampradayas above mentioned, they are after worshipping the Supreme Lord Visnu, in His different Expansions, and some of them are in favor of worshipping Radha Krishna. In the later age the Brahma Sampradaya was handed down though Madhva Acarya; in this Madhva Acarya disciplic succession came Isvara Puri. This Isvara Puri was accepted as Spiritual Master of Lord Caitanya. Therefore, we being in disciplic succession of Caitanya Mahaprabhu, we are known as the Madhva Sampradaya. And because Lord Caitanya appeared in Bengal, which country is called Gaudadesa, our Sampradaya party is known as Madhva Gaudiya Sampradaya. But all these Sampradayas are non-different from one another because they believe and worship the Supreme Lord. Any other Sampradaya who are Impersonalist or voidist or non-devotee, they are rejected by us. My Guru Maharaja was in the 10th generation from Lord Caitanya. We are 11th from Lord Caitanya. The disciplic succession is as follows: 1. Sri Krishna, 2. Brahma, 3. Narada, 4. Vyasa, 5. Madhva, 6. Padmanabha, 7. Nrihari, 8. Madhava, 9. Akshobhya, 10. Jayatirtha, 11. Jnanasindhu, 12. Purusottama, 13. Vidyanidhi, 14. Rajendra, 15. Jayadharma, 16. Purusottama, 17. Vyasatirtha, 18. Laksmipati, 19. Madhavendra Puri, 20. Isvara Puri (Advaita, Nityananda) 21. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, 22. (Svarupa, Sanatana) Rupa, 23.(Jiva) Raghunath, 24. Krishna dasa, 25. Narottama, 26. Visvanatha, 27. (Baladeva.) Jagannatha, 28. (Bhaktivinode) Gaura-kisora, 29. Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati, Sri Barshabhanavidayitadas, 30. Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta. Hope you are well. Your ever well-wisher, A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami
22. Thankyou ..now this is why we have association {need}. Not just by reading books can you become self-realized. Only then can you be called Prabhu!
23. When did the day start for dinosaurs? And how do they calculate since they lived only for about say 60 years. How can they come up with 300million years? heh sorry.
24. when you get out of bed. Whats morning for me in Uk is night for somebody in Australia. And visa-versa. For devotees the day starts at spiritual hours 4am. Whoever is sleeping is Athiest {minds}. Jai SRI NITAI!
25. Lord Krsna is therefore consciousness of his superior position, and all Visnu incarnations are conscious of their positons as devotees. -- Is this higher understanding, this is the 1st time I have ever heard this.
