Well I can say is that Krsna says in the gita that Througout all the vedas I am to be known. So that is the purpose of the vedas. THe best sacrifice is the sankirtan yagna. As stated by Lord Caitanya. We are not any kind of web, we are in the web of Maya. Saying that we too are krsna is compelete nonsense and sure I am not qaulified to tell you how as I know you will challenge me to do but there are others here who will gladly do so. We are part and parcel of krsna. If we were krsna we woudnt be under the illusion of the three modes of material nature. We woudnt have the four defects that material beings have which are 1, being illusioned, 2, imperfect senses, propensity to tell lies(i think thats one of them) and the propensity to cheat others or be cheated. We achieve moksa by doing bhakti yoga as krsna tells arjuna in the bagavat gita "abandon all varieties of religion and surrender unto me..... he doesnt say abondon everything and become a hindu as the word hindu is never mentioined in the vedas.

Yes, Reading the gita is important. Govindaram and Priita ji I think you have done great service by reminding me to read the gita. Ever since my issues I have been so submerged into my mind and problems that I never read the gita or anything from Prabhupad. I think its time I should start again dont you think? I have to figure out how I can memorise these quotes and use them in arguments against people in the world out there from fanatical christians to crazy "hindus" Yes, Now I shall read the gita again which I havent read in over a year. My longest period off from reading the gita since I started reading it. I hear there are 30 key verses in the gita. I hope I can atleast learn them.

You make a very nice point. I dont know how it got turned into something impersonal but I think it was one of the visitors here who said something to that fact. Hare Krsna everyone Well today was my first day of work and I am happy to inform you guys that I did well. THey trained me and this other girl for an hour and 15 minutes or so and then when I finally called people for the 15 minutes I made 3 sales in 15 minutes. I am soooo happpy. This is krsna's mercy. I am soooooo stoked man. I think I was a little bit to excited there as the girl that trained with me didnt do all that well but she hopefully will do better. My fortunes are changing, all guru maharaj's and krsna's grace. One step at a time. First telemarketing and now then the world. Muuuuuaaahhhahahahahah Hare Krsna

How can God(krsna) be inactive and we be active. How can one be god and not be able to have more qualities and qualities then what it creates? Ofcourse God(krsna) is active and inactive at the same time but he is not limited to one. I mean we have a form so God(krsna) has a form. for example, if there is fruit, which obviously has a form is there then there is something that gave the fruit its form right? A tree is what gives the fruit its form. How can the fruit have form and the tree formless. The fruit comes from the tree.

Sin personified is allowed to rest in grain on ekadasi.

Many Hindu's have this view (and others), you know just do good for ppls it will be ok. They say that but what is actually considered good? I mean they say and do these things to accumulate good karma or something fruitive. WHat good have they done if they havent helped them understand they are not these bodies. What good have they done if these peopele that they "help" will continue in the cycle of birth and death and suffer again again. So they help to gain something, if they really want to help they should help them get out of the cycle of samsara.

nothing wrong is happening and they dont like coming because they have prejeduces or something. I mean I know devotees who have treated guests with the utmost respect but the guest will give them an evil eye or smirk at them or something and not come after they would hear a beautiful class which questions their way in life? I try to see from both perspectives, thats the only reason I started these posts.

I understand. I will be more respectful to people who dont like coming to the temple but can I get mad if they dont come because they dont like their philosophy being questioned by Prabhupad and the sastras and they blasphame him? But I think I should just let things go now, this thread has gone on to long and I myself have forgotten what it was originaly about. None the less I am probably the one on the wrong end. In the Bagavat gita, Krsna says men of low intelligence worship the demigods....... Also he says those who worship the demigods go to the demigods, those who worship the forefathers go there and those who worshp ghosts go there. Now you can tell them yes you can have a view and I can have a view but I realise my view is limited and ultimatly we must adhere to krsna's view because when we dont we suffer. I mean I had someone tell me that they worship the demigods because they are all one anyway(not true according to the gita and quote above) Also they said I think its ok to worship Krsna's devotees(which is odd because why dont they just worship me then, or surrender to Prabhupad. They dont realise that if they worship krsna's devotees just for fruitive results its not bhakti, its bussiness) I mean if they are krsna's devotees then they would tell you to worship krsna. I never said someone has to come to temple, I just said they should come to the temple. I am not judging anyone. Man this is being taken the wrong way....as usual. You should come to the temple regardless of the situation there. Thats just an excuse to not come to the temple. Even if everything from Kirtans, relationships, classes and prasadam is good people who dont have the desire to come to the temple wont come. This is about improving people's consciousness and not a judgement on my part. I started this thread because I saw something that bugged me. Which was the fact someone said to me I have come to the temple once this week and that is enough. Like going to the temple is a chore. So I am not judging but rather stating something that occured.

Thank you very much for your response. My intention when starting this post wasnt meant to insult anyone or judge anyone. I just wrote the post because of curtain observations I made. I wasnt saying that people who come to the temple are better then people who dont. I was talking about the consciouness of thinking that coming to the temple is a chore. You are a world of help. I have this assignment due on monday and because of my nonsense at home and stress of worrying about my wife I coudnt get to it. Now that things have gotten better I can finish this no problem but your help will surely give me a boost Hare Krsna
