  6. That's OK - I have too much other stuff to occupy myself with these days so this type of thing does not offend me. Besides, my IQ is higher than either number you have posted as the average. I decided a long time ago that IQ tests are meaningless when I worked at a home for the mentally challenged. Some of the clients were way smarter than any of us so called "Normal People."
  7. This reminds me an uncomfortable incident that happened to me several years ago in the one and only Indian Store in Reno. I was standing at the counter looking through a stack of devotional posters. They had some beautiful images of Lord Krsna among others. I was setting some aside to purchase when this young Indian man walked up to me and grabbed the posters and said do you know who this is? Well, of course, I knew and answered his question. He did this with one poster after another. He never talked to me about anything else just stood their quizzing me on the posters. Then all of a sudden he threw the posters (offensive!!) on the counter and started yelling about how we (white westerners) think we know more than the Indians do. This went on for several minutes. He seemed to get extremely upset that I was not responding at all to his temper tantrum. He finally stomped out of the store - slamming the door. The owner of the shop was flustered and embarrassed and started falling all over herself to make up for the man's rudeness. I felt very badly for her. I don't know maybe the guy got pissed because I knew one that he did not know!! /images/graemlins/confused.gif
  8. Well they wasted their money and their time studying male body parts! All they had to do is come here to Nevada and go to certain /images/graemlins/blush.gif...well..ranches /images/graemlins/blush.gif(is what they are called here) and interview the ....er...employees. /images/graemlins/crazy.gif Geez, and I worry about wasting my time then I read about this kind of foolishness!! /images/graemlins/grin.gif /images/graemlins/grin.gif
  9. laughing long enough to respond!! /images/graemlins/grin.gif What are we robots?? Without a soul the body is just a rotting empty shell!
  10. claims to be God and his followers also believe and claim this. I_L_K - It is nice to only want to see the good in people but sometimes facts point otherwise. Reality bites sometimes.
  11. I had not seen this thread before. I started taking the same product from Himalaya Co. at the recommendation of a friend in India. Haven't had my cholestoral check lately so I don't know if it is working or not - I hope so!! One thing I have noted though is - I have only been on it for a very short time and without changing my diet or exercise I have lost about 7 lbs. /images/graemlins/grin.gif So if only for that reason, I am going to continue using it.
  12. I was not sure where to put this post but I have been wondering for several days now where is Atma???? I checked back and we have not heard from her since May 19. Did you mention going away or anything for a while?
  13. I asked a couple of 7th day Adventists in my town about this (by the way they were eating their lunches at the time and this consisted of flesh) and was told that yes, traditionally they were "supposed" to be vegetarians but now they only abstained from pork. I do not know it that holds true for all 7th day adventists.
  14. I was also thinking straighten the hair out and stand it straight up and viola - Troll Doll!!
  15. but I have at least 72 raisins here. It really isn't that big a deal - I certainly would not blow myself up for them.
  16. They would be better off buying a box of Raisin Brand instead of blowing themselves up - I think they would get more raisins that way. /images/graemlins/grin.gif
  17. But I was told that when someone passes on either in a holy place, temple, or otherwise serving the Supreme Lord it is because they have fulfilled their life's mission and it was at that point that they were to go Home or continue in a newer life that would be more productive way of serving (not sure if I said that correctly). Anyway, that is a basic and elementary explanation that was given to me when I asked the same question.
  18. That is funny!! The seller has been trying to sell these "dolls" for months. I do not think anyone has bought any. I thought about posting about them when I first saw the ad but never did. This thread was custom made so I had to do it now!! Oh, did you note that you can buy extra gowns for him for about $12 or so?
  19. Did you read the description? /images/graemlins/crazy.gif "The Sai Baba Doll has been made with many of the visible attributes of the Avatar and is suitable for all ages. It is a reminder to children that God is with them at all times and encourages them to love God in all forms. "
  20. you can buy a Sai Baba doll on ebay.. This is not a joke! Do you think someone bought one, dropped it and that is when he fell?
  21. Let me know that it arrived ok. Thanks.
  22. I will get the pages to you later this evening after I finish all of my chores and can sit down for a while. this is so great!! I have been thinking about it a lot today.
