Besides this, friends wife had exalted Saturn in 7<SUP>th</SUP> (spouse) with Moon and Kethu aspecting Lagna is not a good combination either for marriage or mental peace. She has neecha Mars as 8<SUP>th</SUP> (death) lord in 4<SUP>th</SUP> house (happiness, mother etc) thus is also not good for happiness and is aspected by neecha Jupiter. At present she has Saturn Mahadasa with Venus subperiod started in Jan 2009. Before was subperiod of Kethu. Thus, possibility of recovery may be their as far as remembering incidences are concern. She must wear a good quality pearl ring in silver as well as pearl necklace.

Thanks a lot for your response. I am bit concern about the lagna as it comes out to be Aries with Moon in Libra. Could you please check the lagna again before I make any further comments?. With date of birth 26 July 1985, I get Aries lagna at 00.05AM and Jan15, 1979 at 2:05 AM as Libra lagna at Kohalapur. The nakshtra are Swati and Aslesha respectively with a match points 14.5 and a nadi dosha. I will check it again in case I made error in putting the birth details.

As I understand the Saphire is for Saturn, and there are many stones like Neelam, Nili, Jamuniya....so is there any one in particular that i should wear ? Recently I have started wearing iron ring on my middle finger of right hand. Besides this Can I do some other upay for Saturn ? Is this because of Shani Mahadasha or do I need to wear it lifelong.
Also, want to know If I remove diamond ring..should I need to do something else to improve the lagnesh...

You are right, sapphire is for saturn and neelam is suggested for it. In reality good sapphire is from Kashmir and now a days it is hard to get it as it is very expensive too but that works best. But any othe sapphir in blue color will be the next choice. It is for life long as my per experience of years, I try to balance many factors rather than just current dasa or a single planet. My intention is to get overall help rather than for a short time but it is your choice. You do not have to do any thing to remove diamond. To strength venus as a lagna lord, worship Mata Laxmi (without flowers, only time may tell you from your own experience that how it is very important) be vegetarian if you are already not so may help you to seek divine help.

For Dakshinavarat Shankh you may like to contact Sri at sriniketan.bhandari@gmail.com who might be able to help you and provide information. If coral is in gold may be in Sun finger. The timing of wearing should be on Tuesday. I do not have local Panchang now to know the nakshtra at that day you are planning to wear so wait till you get the ring. I would not prefer to substitute coral with any other crystal. To improve bhagya, I have suggested the remdies that might be able to help you.

The answers to your Qns:

You are having period of Rahu started in about Jan 2008 for 18 yrs. At present Rahu subperiod is running till Oct 2010. Rahu is in 6<SUP>th</SUP> (disease, enemies etc), and thus for job it is going to give problems. This Rahu is aspected by Mars as a profession lord and thus is good. In addition, Saturn is aspecting profession from 8<SUP>th</SUP> (death) house as a lagna lord and 12<SUP>th</SUP> lord and thus gives mixed results. Then subperiod of Saturn will follow from Oct 2010 and Saturn will give mixed results as mentioned above. So, in my opinion, job wise it does not look very good and thus will require lot of efforts on your part. Try lot of efforts in April 2009, you might get something but you may not be very happy. Better possibility (again with efforts) from Oct 2009 when pranterdasa of Venus comes.

In my humble opinion you may like to do following remedies:
1. First of all wearing of an Emerald is not good for your fortune and happiness. Rather keep wearing good quality Diamond, or wear at appropriate time. If diamond has defects then it is better not to wear it. In that case, wear Coral in gold or copper (no silver please) for your professional gains as well as to overcome some of the dominating effects of mother(s). At this time no other gem is required.
2. Worship lord Vishnu along with Mata Laxmi (without flowers).
3. Worship DakshinavratShankh that has been activated properly. I can provide more information if needed. This shankh is very dear to lord Vishnu and Mata Laxmi.
4. Worship lord Shiva on Mondays, do not take any important decision on full Moon or Amavsaya days. It may help you in bringing some mental peace.
5. Donate shoes (not leather), clothes, umbrella to needy people on Saturdays.

But till now, I have been doing all my worship without flowers - just by chanting the Ashtakshari (Om Namo Narayana), Panchakshari (Om Namah Shivaya) and some beej mantras of devi... Presently, i hope to receive my one-mukhi rudraksha and wear it on the MahaShivratri day. My question is if I begin worshipping with flowers, what happens with the Karma balance you were mentioning? Could you please explain that in a bit more detail??

In my humble opinion, you are ahead of millions by just doing your worship without flowers. I answered recently this question in one of these posts and I will put it again as follows:
First of all, the purpose behind offering the flowers is important. Most people when doing pooja like to decorate with flowers and others like to offer the flower itself to bhagwan because the flower is pretty and the sent is pleasing. Now I know what I am about to say may seem a little extreme to some, but another way of looking at offering the flowers is like sacrificing the flowers so now the distinction is between violence and non-violence. It is the offering of a part of a plant to please another. And the question comes, what right do we have to offer something that does not belong to us in order to please another? The plant is also a living being, and we are naturally doing harm to it by plucking the flower. Now if our intent was different and maybe using the plant for medicine then we are more justified as our purpose is greater than decoration or to please someone. But even then we are creating some negative (bad) karma just not as to the same degree. So my advice is that first of all don’t use the flowers unless you have a justified reason and even then ask the plant for the flower first and then take the flower and in return give the plant water or fertilizer in exchange. So if we really think about it our intent here is to seek Divine help, and the Divine will naturally not appreciate such acts as we are harming another in order to help ourselves.

I have been following this post and a question occured to me. Does it then mean that one should not worship Narayana AND Shiva and/or Shakti at the same time? I am a devout bhakta of Shri Krishna (since He is also a form of Vishnu) but at the same time I worship Shiva and Devi too. Is this contradictory by any chance? Am very eager to know this since a long time...

Every one in the Universe has its own role to play. For the same person the role may be different. For example, a person may be a father but may be also a son to his parents and a brother to his/her sister, or nephew to someone else and thus he has to play the role of a different person at the same time. The different persons may view at different angles in getting affection and love. When you meditate really well and worshiping all whether Narayana or Shiva or Bhavani Ma etc at the same time, you will get your answer and experience that it is not contradictory. In my humble opinion, it is your choice to worship who or not, but, if you worshiping Shiva or any other it does not mean that you can not worship Narayana and it is contradictory.

You are right that Venus is lagna lord and diamond is for Venus. As I pointed out earlier, it will add to your unhappiness and may create some enemies in the professional life and thus I would not myself wear diamond. A good quality sapphire in silver in Saturn's finger may be better choice for you in my humble opinion.

Without calculating dasa it is usuaaly difficult to say about when to get the job. But, based on present position of Jupiter it may be possible to get some idea. Jupiter is neecha and is your profession lord is in 8 th (death) house and when it transits to Kumbha rasi it will increase the chances of finding the job. You may like to wear yellow topaz (not yellow sapphire) and worship lord Vishnu (without flowers) and this may help you to overcome some of the effects of profession lord in neecha position at present and to get job with some efforts.

I thank you whole-heartedly for heeding my problem. I have never known that yellow sapphire and yellow topaz are different. Jewellers and gem dealers use both sapphire and topaz synonymously. I started wearing a presumably low quality "pokhraj" or yellow sapphire or whatever they call it, and noticed that my suffering increased atleast 50 times. My constipation increased and after one year of wearing the stone(in gold), i had jaundice. I may not have mentioned that i have terrible constipation due to building up of toxicity and hence i am also getting intense migraines characterized by lassitude and indifference. My liver aches a lot when i wore the stone and i also had hepatomegaly.

I dont have much idea regarding topaz and sapphire but i think it is quite an expensive stone. I have just googled yellow topaz and yellow sapphire and most websites mention them synonymously. My parents wont encourage me to buy them as they think its just a waste of money and this is a another one of hindrances of the many that i feel they are creating for me. I feel non-existent and experience a tremendous loss of self_identity(no concept of "ego") staying with my parents. Is it because of Rahu? I heard Rahu causes problems if one stays with family and Rahu is mild if the native stays alone. Rahu, i think is important since its in first house.. I have also bought gomedha but i just wore if for one day: it was really weird, i felt quite non-existent when i wore it and it all seemed unreal and i lost most of my sensory reactions so i just stopped wearing it.

Yes, Rahu may can give such illussions but you are fortunate to have Jupiter in the fist house too and that's where worship of Narayana is very important and you are doing it. It is part of our Karma dicted by several life times and do your best as you know. Many times Jupiter in such a place may indicate self healing power that is not known to native and thus just without doing any medication it is very helpful. Your the problems you mentioned may be easily anicipated due to afflication of jupiter and I have seen and experienced such charts to go through similar problems. Yellow Topaz is important (I think, TOPAZ came from sanskrit word TAP (Tapasaya) signifies by GURU (and in this case JUPITER) and thus can not be substituted by sapphire as many do and experienced all bad or no effects. It is really thus a problem to get a correct gem. I may give you an E mail that you may request who can help you personnay to find a topaz for you (sriniketan.bhandari@gmail.com).
Topaz is aluminium flouro silicate where as sapphire is Aluminium oxide, the hardness differs for both gems and so does refrective index. Crystal structure are also different but to our common eyes both may look same.
Also, wear a ring of good quality pearl in silver (no holes or scratches) in silver in little finger and wear on monday in a good muhurta. This will help you a lot in clearing your foggy mind, if it is yellow pearl that will be more better than this.

Answers to qns:
Miscarriage was in Surya or Moon in Major period of Rahu. Mangal is 5th lord and is in 8th house (death). Mangal is aspecting exalted Moon. Sani is aspecting 5th house as a lord of 8th (death). These factors shows problems in conceiving or having baby.
Husband: In 2003, Budh dasa was running in major dasa of Guru. Guru is exalted in 5th house. Budh is in 8th (death) and is thus not helpful.
In my opinion, it is still possible to have babies. Do the following remedies:
Husband: Wear a good yellow topaz (pukhraj) not yellow sapphire in silver ring.
Worship lord Vishnu (no flowers).
Your chart: Worship Sri Ram and Hanuman Ji.
Wear a ring of pearl in silver as well as a necklace of good pearls.
Do fasting on Mondays.

Worship of lord Vishnu: Simple and easy mantra: OM NAMO LAXMI NARAYANA, as amny times as you feel without burden, For Sri Ram: Recite his name such as : Sri Ram, again as many times as you feel comfortable and as much as time (please do not offer flowers but offer sweets like "Khir" and Coconut, banana as mentioned in our Culture).
I do think that you have combinations for children and when and how many will depend on several factors and at present I may not be able to answer more in detail.
Pearl: Usually I prefer the gem or pearl that has not been used by any one before. This is mainly energy from defferent person to different person andit does not matter from who you got it. Due to some reason you can try the pearl you have and see if it helps in any way. Try after putting the pearl in milk over night and may change mike few times and then same repeat with water instead of milk. Wear pearl on an auspicious day suggested in a particulat nakshtra and on Monday to get its good effects. For this some one with Panchang who is available locally may help you.
You may find many who may suggest substitute for topaz or any gem but in my humble opinion I would not try any substitue.

Some time ago, may be not more than 2-3 months that I came across a question in this vedic astrology section asked by a young man who was working somewhere abroad may be Germany not sure. He asked a question about some sort of skin problem and he did mention that he was suffering from severe itch on his back and also wrote it in Hindi with English letters like 'muje khujli bahut hoti hai'. I understand your problems in business and it is irrespective of dasa (dasa may enhance or reduce some effects but some effects are always there.
