Respected sandhu Ji & classic72 ji, Pranam. I am just a learner. I mistook badhakas(Functional malefics,here also if I am correct)as natuaral malefics and hence the confusion.Excuse me. Some have a view that if a badhaka of a particular Asc located in a star of a benefic of that lagna,as the the example below,is also good and the malefic effect is greatly reduced. Say for Aries Asc (Moveable) Sat is badakha,while Sun & Jupiter are functional benefics and if Sat(Padhaka) is located in a star of Sun(Krithika or Utraphulguni or Utrashada) or Jupiter(Punarvasu,Visaka or Poorvabhadra), the malefic effect of Saturn is mitigated to the native of that Asc,even if he is not in 12th. Another view is that if bhadaka is in association with Jupiter,even then the evil effect of bhadaka is warded of Are these views acceptable? Please check the two birth charts below one with Aries Asc and another Leo Asc. 1. DOB:20-09-1937 /20-56 Hrs/Longi:79:45:00 E & Latti:12:50:00 N Here Aries Asc, Saturn(Bhadaka) in 12th(Pisces) but with Moon. The native suffered a lot academically,physically(health), mentally & financially. 2. DOB:30-08-1977 / 07-04 AM /Longi: 80:14:48 E & Latti:13:04:00 N Here the Asc is Leo & Mars is bhadaka but with Jupiter in 11th. Can this be analysed with respect to bhadakas? Regards, Anusha

I am of the opinion that the natural malefics,as you call them Bhadakesh,occupying the 3rd,6th and 11th from Ascendant are considered good but not 12th.

basant guru JI, This man seems running Moon dasa,Mercury bhukthi & Mars antar,if I am not wrong. It is understood that some one else has advised him to wait till 2012, four years from now.He is afraid of being cheated,if his chart is not in favour of him. ShridharJi, 1.I went to"Home" page of the site www.besttime-astrology.com 2.Clicked on “ Elections for you – your Muhurtas” 3.Opened the page "Astrological guidance to initiate the life activities at a selected time for the best fruitful results " 4.Then I clicked on "Hyderabad" This page shows Kaals & Abhijin muhurat for a few sets of week days and dates but there is no OPTION column to fill in Sun Rise & Sun Set against a desired week day to know the Kaals & Muhurats for the given Sun Rise/Set. The muhurta prefered by you on 8/12/08,Monday "Having fixed date of marriage of the said couple, now job is to find out one of the most suitable Muhurt. I have worked on it & find that Sagittarius Lagna & Sagittarius Navamsha is a good one." So the muhurta time seems to fall between 8-51 & 9-02 AM on 8/12/08, Monday. Rahu kal also falls between 7-30 AM & 9-00 AM on Mondays.Can they still take that time as Good Muhurta. Please advise. Deep regards, Anusha

Dear Shridhar ji, What I have understood from the guidance given is " the corresponding duration of Abhijit Muhurat during night-time( equally auspicious election) is ‘Brahma Muhurt’ and NOT THE ONE believed as stated in my earlier thread which could be only PRATAHA,72 mts before Sun Rise. So Prataha is auspicious for Pujas & spiritual activities only but not for Prayanas, parasthala & other such activities. Please correct,if I have gone wrong. Regards, Anusha
