Dear Shridhar ji, Thank you. This is for my academic interest. The girl has her ascendent in Leo and hence is no manglic whereever Mars is located in her chart.But the boy is a manglic with respect to Asc,Moon & Venus.The manglic effect is much more but seems neutralised to some extent. He is also now running Mars Dasa. Some astrologers opine that both should have similar degree of maglic dosha which is similary neutralised.Some say if a boy is 25% more manglic,it can be matched but not the girl. I am not refering to any muhurtha here.I am refering only to Rise/Set(Udaya/Asthamana) of planets like Mars,Mer,Jupiter,Venus & Sat as given in Vakya,Ganitha and other Panchangs where the duration shown between Set and Rise is too long. I am giving below my first thread and the discussions by unanth ji & rohini Ji for your information. Planets' Rise/set <HR style="COLOR: #ffffff" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message --> Sun & Moon rise and set are quite visible.It is a daily phenomenon.Even other planets, Mercury,Jupiter,Venus rise and set but take long duration in between. During which period they rise and set in their rotation?Is there a specific period for their rise and set? Can this be explained please? Also the duration between rise and set is correct as You know that it wont be uniform everyday and all planets rise and set daily. The softwares that we are using to make charts already take all these factors and give details. So they are able to calculate a planet is traversing which degree in wihch sign. Dear Shri.Shridhar Ji, May I invite your kind attention to the above in response to my seeking guidance as to the marriage muhurtha with TULA ASCENDENT on 11-09-2008 for the prospective couple under reference. I understand from the wedding invitation that the Murtham has been fixed between 10-30 AM and 12-00 Noon with VIRCHIKA ASCENDENT on the same day, 11-09-2008. Sir,I wish to know whether the both Mesha & Virchika are suitable Ascendents for the great auspicious occassions like MARRIAGES,Upanayanam etc. (I think Tula Asc is ok as done originally with remdies) If not,may I,as a well wisher of the prospective couple,request you to suggest remedies to be performed before the muhurtha to ward of the harmful effects. Respected sasiskaranji, I just saw your post.I am now out of station for a fortnight.Once I return I will try to collect details as much as possible and post them for the analyses.Some people are too reluctant to divulge such details for their own personal reasons.However I will try my best. Some months back I met by chance a divorcee(woman) and asked her what had actually happened with a request to her chart or birth data.She simply replied "There is no necessity for that.My astrologer has already told that there is no problem either in my chart or the boy's chart. The reason was the marrige day and muhrtha lagna (election time) which were inappropriate and unsuitale to both the charts.In that case what will you do with the chart when the charts do not show any such" Regards, Anusha
