  1. Dear Anurag Ji, As I understand from your reply to USR Ji, It is good that you have a great faith in one astrologer who has observed Neecha bhanga raja yoga in your natal chart. For your information I would like to mention that some have a view that these chaya grahas also have aspects,some say they do not have and some even have a view that only rahu has aspects but not ketu.With such differential views on aspects I think whether these nodes also have neecha/ucha banga is a mute point,as there is no such mention anywhere except the one of your astrologer. Though different views on the aspects of these nodes can be traced anything on the Neecha/uchcha banga of nodes could be traced nowhere EXCEPT YOUR ASTROLOGER'S OBSERVATIONS AS STATED BY YOU. It would therefore be helpful if you can approach the same astrologer to get the right answer and also enlighten us with the same so that the friends on this forum can come to know something new for discussions.   3. Dear Ravi ji,Pranams:pray: Sandhu ji has referred only D9 for such a practice but has not made any mention about similar practice with other D charts.Have you ever tried with different D charts? Do you find any discrepancy in the results obtained by the application of usual theory & this new(to me) superimposing method ? Please guide. Regards, Anusha

Dear kshipra Ji, Any planet can confer good or bad,depending on its strength in a native's chart.Even natural malefics can be functional benefics and become yoga karakas,if best placed with strength while natuaral benefics like Guru whom we refer as the king of benefcs,Shukra,raisig Moon & buda can trouble like malefcs,if they are weak,afflicted& placed in an undesirable locations. Shani and Rahu can even pour gold,if they are highly favourable for a native while weak & higly afflicted Shukra & Guru will make one unconfortable. One has to go deep into the charts to ascertain the strength of dasa planets to know what it would be during their periods.So all natural benefics need not be always funtional benefics. I know a person who did not bother about his chart,when he was doing extremely well in his career during Sani dasa but he started searching for his birth chart & astrologers as soon as his Buda dasa started. Respected members,Pranams:pray: 1.An elderly woman born on 22-12-1918 at 1-00hrs at Chittoor,Andrahpradesh is found to run SAT-SAT-GURU dasa as on 4-4-09 as per the Vedic chart. 2.This woman on 15-4-09 fractured her back by an accident fall between 10-30 and 11-30 Am 3.When the same birth input was given to an astrologer on a site for his opinion,he observed the dasa running as on 4-4-09 MOON-MOON-RAHU 4.When his attention was drawn to this vast discrepancy,he said he follows Parasher preaching for chart and analysis and hence the chart & analysis would not tally with other systems. There could be be some difference between systems.Could there be so much? Looks very odd.There should some definite system to be reliably followed. To me it looks logical that Rahu aspects in the direction it moves(anti CW) only,when we say it has aspects as the head with desires & Ketu,a dead body with no desires should have no aspect at all and no movement as well. On the other hand When we belive both Rahu & Ketu move,there is no reason to belive that there is no aspect for Ketu.How then it is a dead body with no desires but only seeking mukthi? As Rahu & Ketu are no physical bodies but only a nodal points of Sun & Moon,are they really play a role in the destiny of a person as Sun & Moon themselves,physical bodies?A mute point.   17. Dear Dr.Atul Ji, Pranams. Nice to have you with me here.Perhaps many like us are quite confused,when there is no authenticated answer to this. When I put this question to one of my astro friend,she sent me a copy,attached below, of what she saw elsewhere on Rahu/Ketu. This looks reasonable but not autheticated "Rahu & Ketu are the two nodes and understanding them is too difficult.Their natures are so deceptive that only who have very good knowledge of their characters can give a clear view on their effects. The story of Rahu& Ketu in short goes like this. Sage Sukracharya(Venus),the Asuraguru,with his knowledge of "Sanjivani Mantra" could revive all the dead people.With such a knowledge of their Guru Asuras used to attack Devas and while Devas were getting killed,the killed asuras would be revived by Sukra. This deterred the devas and while Indra was losing his kingdom to the Asuras,he approached Lord Vishnu for his advice,help and protection. The lord,assuring his protection,advised Devas to churn the ocean with the help of "Mandara Mountain and Vasuki,the serpent bed of Lord Vishnu,when the Lord Himself as Kurma(Avatar) would support the base of the mountain under the ocean.The consumption of the Amrit thus produced from the churning would make one immortal. During churning when a pot of the Amrit was obtained,Devas and Asuras fought for their due share.Sensing the danger of Asuras consuming the amrit and becoming immortal Vishnu took the form of Mohini(Avatar) ,an attractive damsel,and enticed the Asuras to accept her decision on the distribution of Amrit. Swarbhanu,a cunning assistant of Sukracharya assumed the form of a deva and mingled freely with real Devas and got a cup of the Amrit and also cosumed it. Surya noticing the cunning act of Swarbhanu informed Chandra who in turn brought it to the knowledge of Lord Vishnu who,angered by this act Swarbhanu severed his head with His Sudarsana Chakra.Because of the immortality obtained by the consumption of the Amrit the Head and Body of swarbhanu eventually came to be known as Rahu & Ketu respectively. While Rahu longs for the physical body,Ketu(the headless) longs for the head,where DHI SHAKTI(Supreme Inteligence) is present. For this reason it is generally believed that the node Rahu attains EXALTATION in MITUNA(Gemini),the natural 3rd house that rules the physical desires and the other node Ketu in DHANUR(Sagittarious), the natural 9th house ruled by Jupiter who is symbolic of DHI SHAKTI and Moksha.Because of this reason Ketu is also known as Naisarika Moksha karaka.He hence associated with Lord Ganesa who is also a Moksha karaka. It is also believed that while Ketu(the headless) has no aspects of its own, Rahu(The head) has own 5th,7th,9th &12 aspects " As per this rahu aspects like Jupiter with one addition "12" Sandu ji has given a lot on Rahu/Ketu but there was no mention by him on Ketu aspect.   18. Some of the astrologers believe that Rahu &Ketu as Chaya grahas have no aspects at all but from the discussions in this forum I learn that Rahu aspects but not ketu. In another forum I find Astrologers consider not only the aspect of Rahu but also of Ketu for predictions. Definitely this confuses not only learners but also seekers of predictions,when predictions differ from such different perceptions. I wish this is best clarified by any authority on astro.   19. Dear Sandhu ji & Others, I just came across an astro forum where predictions are given with respect to ASPECTS OF KETU also. I have been of the view,guided by this forum,that only RAHU,head of the serpant has aspect to 5th,7th,9th & 12th from the house of its location whereas KETU as only a body(Dead) has no aspects at all. Such a conflicting one gives rise to so many doubts in the learners like me and therefore wish Gurujis here throw some light on what is authentically correct. Regards, Anusha

Sir,how do you view this chart of a girl born on 30/08/1977-- 7-04hrs--Chennai.? She has the lord of 3rd(Badaka for Fixed Asc)& 10th,Venus,with the lord of 6th & 7th,Sat in the 12th, while the lord of the 12th,Moon,in the 7th,aspected by Jupiter from 11th. In such a cases,if I am not wrong, will similar combinations in the spouse's chart neutralise the malefic results? Some of the charts of Male & female,I came accross, have such combinations,Venus either with Sun or Sat.What would be then the right matching combination of planets for them? This will help persons of such a chart to choose the right chart of a spouse. Regards, Anusha

  23. Dear respected Scholars, Pranams:pray: The mantras seem to have some specific syllables. Does the number of syllables in a matra have any significance?If so,then how the number of syllables is decided to form a mantra?Should it be odd or even? For instance: 1.Different people write "Sri Rama Jeyam" in different ways as "Shree Rama Jayam","Shri Rama Jayam" where Sri & Jayam take different alphabets but five syllables remain.Even some write "Raama" instead of "Rama",making it a six syllable one. 2.When people write Dvadakshari,twelve syllable one "Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya",some also add Sri or Shri before Vasudevaya,making it thirteen. It will be helpful,if some light is thrown on the importance syllables and its numbers. Regards, Anusha
