You make it like homosexuality is some cultural sub-group. It's a sexual preference. I know this may come as a shock, but homosexuals aren't bound by a single moral rule. They all live different lives and have different lifestyles. They're not all the same. Some of them are even hippies! There are many kind and compassionate homosexuals. Unfortuantely, you can't see that.

He quotes the same verse from the Pali Canon that you quoted. I quoted a verse for the MahaParinirvana Sutra that has the Buddha explaining why He said that (to gradually wean people off of meat). Me too... but for a different reason. So I guess I can claim the same of you if you think that the Gita is the exact word of Sri Krishna? And if you defend yourself then you're irrational and stuck in the mode of Rajas?
