  1. You make it like homosexuality is some cultural sub-group. It's a sexual preference. I know this may come as a shock, but homosexuals aren't bound by a single moral rule. They all live different lives and have different lifestyles. They're not all the same. Some of them are even hippies! There are many kind and compassionate homosexuals. Unfortuantely, you can't see that.
  2. I wonder why She's not as well known? How lovely
  3. You can roll your eyes at me all you want, but, in this area, you roll your eyes at the Bhagavata Purana as well: "Then, in the beginning of Kali-yuga, the Lord will appear as Lord Buddha, the son of Anjana, in the province of Gaya, just for the purpose of deluding those who are envious of the faithful theist." --Srimad Bhagavata Purana 1.3.24 I think the 'World Review' forum would've been better, but I digress.
  4. Jai Jahnava Devi! Does anyone have a picture of Her Lotus Feet?
  5. Happy Sita Navami to everyone here on Audarya! "O Goddess! You are the altar's center in the sacrifice, the priest's fee, Sita to those who hold the plow, and Earth to all the living!" --Harivamsa 2.3.14
  6. He quotes the same verse from the Pali Canon that you quoted. I quoted a verse for the MahaParinirvana Sutra that has the Buddha explaining why He said that (to gradually wean people off of meat). Me too... but for a different reason. So I guess I can claim the same of you if you think that the Gita is the exact word of Sri Krishna? And if you defend yourself then you're irrational and stuck in the mode of Rajas?
  7. What are they going to do? Execute those who they suspect of reincarnating? Or are they actually going to go after God, LOL B/c we already know what God does when the government tries to tell Him what to do:
  8. I presented the words attributed to Him in Buddhist scripture. Going by your logic, one could also say that the Gita is now in doubt, since no one actually heard directly from Lord Krishna's mouth (other than Arjuna) some 5000 years ago.
  9. So, basically it's all about pedigree (and the fact that big eared earth girls are easy).
  10. Thanks for the lovely devotional article, Indulekha Dasi Ji
  11. I presented the Buddha's words directly... not my interpretation of what He said.
  12. I think he means that he doesn't understand why we're talking about a Buddhist religious figure on a Hindu religious forum.
  13. My faith is small... but Radharani is very loving and merciful, so hopefully She will accept what I have to offer.
  14. Well of course God is spirit, but spirit can have form as well! Silly ministers, Nectar's for devotees!
  15. Wow! I've never seen Krishna And I probably won't for a very long time.
