  1. Dear primate, maybe ranjeetmore belongs to Gaudiya Math not ISKCON
  2. Dear Mahak, Please forgive me if I have offended thee in the past. I was Mr Hyde to you with my offensive (hahaha) postings. You vowed not to post any replies/threads in the forum if the administrator allowed me to continue what I was doing.
  3. I know that most of the contributors here are not initiated. They don`t have a Guru. What they have are the books written by His Divine Grace. Truthfully, Guru is in the books prepared for all of us by no other than HIs Divine Grace A,C, Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. No need to be initiated in this age of Kaliyuga. Just read by heart Srila Prabhupada what he has to say. Then take it from there.
  4. No need to be a Guru. Just let the people whom you associate with know the importance of chanting Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. There`s no other way, no other way says Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in this age of Kaliyuga. Note: However, don`t bother telling this to the followers of Yogananda Paramahamsa. For them, it`s to each his own.
  5. I suffered a heart attack on September 11, 2007. I was admitted at the CCU of Cebu Doctor`s Hospital for 2 days and another 2 days inside a private recuperating room. My cardiologist said that I suffered an acute inferior wall myocardial infarction. I was advised a 2 weeks complete bed rest and made to come back later for the threadmill stress test. The result of the stress test was normal. When I was in the hospital, my doctor told me I was lucky to have survived. If I came to the emergency room 6 hours later after the onset of the attack, the drug streptokinase they injected into my vein would have not dissolved the clot located in my inferior coronary artery, the blood vessel supplying oxygen and nutrients in the inferior wall of my heart. My question is this: What if I have already died from that heart attack? And by His Divine Grace my dead material body was re-animated back to life. Today, I see my myself as spirit. That my family doesn`t know I am no longer this body but soul. That because of God`s mercy my family could still hear me, touch me, eat with me, laugh with me, lie in bed with me, go and see a wholesome movie with me. & yet my family doesn`t know it. That I`m only living on borrowed time.
  6. Can you forgive & forget one who owes you money say, $10,000? If the answer is yes, then you are a philanthropist. If the answer is no, then you are miser.
  7. Ranjeetmore, your why can only be answered from within.
  8. Ranjeetmore, are we not very fortunate to have associated with Lord Krsna in the book Srimad Bhagavatam Srila Prabhupada have prepared for all of us?
  9. Ranjeetmore, when Lord Kalpataru appeared before Dhruva Maharaja what did the latter see? Please describe It to me. & can you count how many mayavadis saw Lord Chaitanya who is Lord Krsna himself chant the Hare Krsna maha mantra?
  10. Theist, is this true that the amount of casein found in milk contains the same amount of casein found in beer? Now I know why Robert Cohen says, "Milk is poison." It`s because to him his beerbelly is a sport but detests his bestfriend milking his cow.
  11. Taken from a song The road is long Where there is no return No burden is he To bear we`ll get there For I know It doesn`t bother me at all He aint heavy He`s my brother ... He aint heavy He`s my brother
  12. What I understand about the brain is that it`s covered with cerebrospinal fluid. If there`s a block in the drainage system of the brain, the cerebrospinal fluid is retained inside the brain. The pressure inside the system increases which dilates and enlarges the skull (hydrcephalus)while the brain shrinks. It`s useless to put a shunt to drain the cerebrospinal fluid if the cause of the obstruction(tumor) is not removed.
  13. Why God needs us? Day after day God must face the world of strangers where he dont belong they`re not that strong One look at us God knows he could learn to live without the rest He`s found us best When there`s no getting over the rainbow When the smallest of dreams wont come true God can take all the madness the world has to give But He wont last a day without us We touch God he ends up singing Trouble seems to go and disappear We touch God with the love we`re bringing God can`t really lose if we care Note: The Lyrics were taken then mangled from the lyrics of the song, I WONT LAST A DAY WITHOUT YOU, sang by the Carpenters.
  14. I can`t count how many deliveries I had attended: 1) During our senior clerkship at the Cebu Maternity Hospital 2) During my post-graduate internship at the Cebu City Medical Center 3)As Medical Officer III assigned in Minglanilla District Hospital. Each delivery I made had so much pain written on the face of the mother. I would tell her, " The pain you are experiencing now is a natural pain. It is a discomfort but it`s the most natural discomfort." As her cervix becomes fully dilated I`d tell her, " Okay, you push...push...push!" As the baby`s head appears, I`d grab the head and start pulling down, a little rotation and pop goes the baby. What a wonderful experience after I hurt the baby a little, a faint cry is heard. The baby start`s to inhale and exhale. Oh, what a joy indeed to watch and deliver a newborn baby. Merry Christmas to all once again!
  15. Merry Christmas to all! IT was a little girl who described Srila Prabhupada as Swami Jesus. Swami Jesus in return replied, " & a little child shall lead them..."
  16. *Beggar- Hi, beggar! Merry Christmas. Glad to see you again. *Waffles- Yap, I like to eat waffles *Method in the madness- sometimes we have to be mad to be cool. *The positive can uplift us- I don`t see why the negative can downlift us if we chant always Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare. * Many of us are really fallen- The moment we engage in sex. The quiet who speak very little have always been the wiser one- Tell that to Bharata. By being quiet, he was sacrificed by the dacoits before goddess Durga.
  17. Bija, sorry for the long vacation. I was doing a parikrama-sita-jaya at the malls because Christmas is near. I still have to buy gifts for the family. & I have no money, not even a single centavo, at this point in time. P.S. The truth is our phone was disconnected for not paying the bill on time
  18. Theist, in other words, there are two brahmajyotis, one coming from Brahman( impersonalist point of view) and the other coming from Krsna(in relation to Krsna)? One for the fallen and one for the victorious? There is indeed two sides of a coin.
  19. Why not a certificate as the Great Jester, bija-my friend?
  20. Before Srila Prabhupada departed for Vrndavan in the spiritual sky, he requested his disciples if he could do a parikrama- visiting temples and shrines. But Srila Prabhupada`s disciples won`t allow it because of his failing health. To a catholic, parikrama similarly would be described as visita iglesia- visiting at least seven churches around the area where one resides on Good Friday. Parikrama-sita-jaya on the other hand is a word I coined describing Maharaja Pariksit- the great raja who absorbed through hearing everything about Lord Krsna directly from the voice of Sukadeva Goswami- son of Vyasadeva, the author of Srimad Bhagavatam, for seven days non-stop. My point here is that a dying person who wants to go home back to Godhead should do a parikrama if his body is willing. If not, he should do a parikrama-sita-jaya act.
  21. Bija, maybe jibbling is a way of increasing the number of messages we post on the board in making it past a thousand messages in just a matter of time to qualify for senior membership.
  22. Living on borrowed time, Bija, is like a loan your bank gave you which diminished gradually as you spent it buying medicines, clothing, food, and drink in order to maintain your body for quite sometime. And yet the only way you could redeem this debt so you could secure a new loan from your lender bank is to get a loan from another bank. This borrowing and paying never ends. And when we finally die, it`s probably our children/wife/relatives who pay these debts.
