Guest guest Report post Posted July 1, 2009 I second that motion! Quorn is the best thingt come down the pike for the " substitute " foods. It comes from the U.K., and when I e-mailed the company, a very polite reply came from their customer service rep. telling me they will bring " turkey " patties to the U.S. this year in the fall, and a " burger " (like beef) next year (2010) sometime. If you go to their website, it lists all the products available in the U.S. I am so envious of the British, because they have so many different Quorn foods products that we don't have here yet. Oh, and I think the other writer meant, " Quorn is not made from CORN " , instead of " Quorn isn't made from quorn... " (Which is true. The name sounds weird, especially if they had small sausages; imagine asking the store employee for " QUORN-dogs " ! LOL!) I love the Quorn " Naked cutlets " (which are similar to chi*kn breasts). Some of the members here won't eat them because they seem to realistic. I just like them for the taste and fresh texture that isn't tofu-like. The " grounds " are not my favorite, but the " m**t balls " are great--REALLY tasty! So is the breaded (similar to " chi*kn) patty. Some of the products I have yet to try, but I love them all and can't wait to get more available here! Best wishes--have a great day! --Laura B., from Illinois Re: Newbie Posted by: " Puterwitch " puterwitch mariapclady Tue Jun 30, 2009 12:24 pm ((PDT)) If you crave them try the Quorn products..... oh here i go again people are probably thinking, LOL, but I can't help but preach about Quorn. It is not made from Quorn, it is made from a mushroom similar type fungus. check out their website. i have tried every product they have and I love every one. Guest guest Report post Posted January 22, 2010 Hi, I'm new to this site. Thought I'd say hello. 'Hello'. Here in the UK, I support a young man with learning disabilites, diabetes type 1 and celiac disease. I'm hoping to gain some knowledge about diet etc. As everyone seems to be asking for " Grain Damaggge " , may I also read it?
