Actually i am not coming over here for sometime, but ur post frawn me here , my friend in fact very close friend did his bsc there in bangalore , and was instructed by sai bab to do msc in puttaparthi , he was chosen to serv saibaba , you by how ? , hei professor asked him to take latest copies of pictures to give to saibaba , and then he was approcahed by professor for sexual abuse , with maximum fights and false complaints on him he was able to come out of everything , he has seen and realised whats there , after his studies , i was not able to digest the way he was , he used to be soo cheerful and happy and suddenly gone upside down , now he is fine and for the rest of his life we wont forget what has happened. I will surely read that story , i have downloaded it , but it soo silly after speaking soo many things about krishna getg feeling what is he but i want to be honest atleast to myself first . who in the whole world living by basic 4 principles ? we say eating non veg is wrong , i am having leather shoes, my family wears silk dress, wehn we use animals for everything else other than food is it right i am not eating non veg , but i dont consider i am better from whoever eats that. similarly i am trying to find out what hinduism is doing to the soceuity , or its been totally misunderstood. --- One of my close friend , i respect every little thing coming out of his mouth . I have been torutured him who was hindu now saying there is absoultely No GOD !.... I could also remember is the one who showed me the way to GITA . His word are soo high because he knows not only B-GITA but Quaran and Bible. But i am still standing against him - I hope i do , I am not able to argue with him on anything .. why should i on the first place ? , Because its like he is shaking my own faith on GOD , i was believing all these days that Krishna can be the only GOD and he doesnot care whether someone calls him Allah or Jeasus but he helps. I was believing soo much and started to chant his name for the last three months after coming to this forum and started reading B-GITA , hearing lectures on it , etc... I love Krishna and I like Krishna , But after getting confused due to my Friends argument i am asking to myself is there a GOD ? , and his name is Krishna ? Hinduism also cares and accepts non-followers unlike other religions .. but since because it says one should follow it. No i am not going to debate anymore , because i myself confused now, not just because of talking to my friend but the past three days are horrible !...not only problems but confusions .. who is GOD ? why should i believe him on the first place ? Let me post some pictures of Narasimha and then Kaali - She is the indian godness wife of shiva , Numerous temples are there in india , she is called , Durga, Shakthi, kaali , Parvathi, Amman and lot more , needless to mention fearfull form of Shakthi. There is story for each one of them , let me start with kaali. Kali ("the black one") is the Hindu mother goddess, symbol of dissolution and destruction. She destroys ignorance, maintains the world order, and blesses and frees those who strive for the knowledge of God. In the Vedas the name is associated with Agni, the god of fire, who had seven flickering tongues of flame, of which Kali was the black, horrible tongue. This meaning of the word has meanwhile been replaced by the goddess Kali, the grim consort of Shiva. Her appearance is fearsome: baleful eyes, a protruding tongue, and four arms. In her upper left hand she wields a bloody sword and in her lower left hand she holds the severed head of a demon. With her upper right hand she makes the gesture of fearlessness, while the lower right hand confers benefits. Draped around her is a chain of severed human heads and she wears a belt made of dismembered arms. As the Divine Mother she is often represented dancing or in sexual union with Shiva. As Bhavatarini, the redeemer of the universe, she stands upon the supine form of her spouse. Kali is worshipped particularly in Bengal. Her best known temples are in Kalighat and Dakshineshvara. Worship of the Terrible Mother The scene for true Kali worship takes place in a cremation ground where the air is smoke laden and little specks of ash from burning funeral pyres fall on white, sun-dried bones scattered about and on fragments of flesh, gnawed and pecked at by carrion beasts and large black birds. It is a frightening place for most, but a favorite one for the "heroic" Mother worshipper who has burnt away all wordly desires and seeks nothing but union with her. Please note that one cannot kill atma , atma is neither created by anyone nor killed by anyone Atma belongs to paramathma , he is the father for all souls. Krishna says about this in the second chapter of Bhagawat Gita when Arjuna says he is worried about the sinfullness of killing others , Krishna says " Never was there a time when i did not exist , nor you , nor all these kings , nor in future shall any of us cease to be ." One cannot get Sin by killing six kinds of people. 1) One who gives posion. 2) One who puts fire to the others house 3) One who attacks with deadly weapons. 4) One who plunders riches 5) one who occupies others land and 6) one who kidnaps wife. You can please krishna by killing these kinds of people. Killing doesnot mean one is killing others athma , Atma cannot be killed " The soul can never be cut to pieces by any weapon , nor burned by fire , nor moistened by water, nor withered by the wind " " This individual soul is unbreakable and insoluble, and can be niether burned nor dried . Do u ever felt alone , lonely and depressed about ur future or problems ? if 'yes' is the answer then u can go about reading this further. A teen chap was feeling very depressed due to his official problem and broken heart. so he took a break and went for occasion on woods.He hired a place near lake and was enjoying the beauty of the nature which made him very relaxed from his hectic office life. One day while walking across the woods he saw a man on fifties trying to ride a horse and was not able to make it , This scene has become regular to the chap . on one day the old man managed to climb on the horse but fell down during the course. The chap watching this was laughing at the old man and ran towards him for helping. He took the old man to his place and did first aid to him. They had a conversation about each other and then the chap asked with teasing manner "why at this age u are trying to ride a horse ?" the man took a deep breath and replied " I will give answer to this question tomarrow at the woods " he also added " Before that i would like u to do some work on urself " the chap nodded and waited for the reply " Have u ever felt the fear of death ? " asked the old man, " I am too young to think abt that" he replied with a grin . "well do think that u are goin to die before mid night and Do write down things that u wanted to do in your life ,when u come to meet me on woods " The chap made a hesitating look at him , "okey thanks for ur help " said the old man preparing to start " its my pleasure " the chap said handing over the coat and cap. Then He had a nice lunch and roamed on the lakeview went to a party near the woods came back to his place at 1hr before mid night ,while he was about to sleep , suddennly he felt very lonely and depressed he thought of the words of the old man and He feared that he is really goin to die before midnight , remembering what the old man has told ,he hurried to his desk and started writing down all the things he wanted to do before he die. He kept on writing things till early in the morning and slept after making lumpsum of papers. The chap hurried to see the old man but he was not on the woods , he walked down to the lakeview and he couldnt believe that the old man was riding the horse in the lakeview waving his hands at the chap ! .He went and said sorry for asking that Question to the old man." now i understand that i have so many things to do before i die and i am leaving rite now to my city " said the chap The old man smiled and said " Well dont let ur mind free enough to think about lonelyness and depression we got only one life to do all the things we wish to do " , "I dont have much time for those feelings " the chap said with grin . WE have to understand what alone and lonliness do mean, there are certain things which we do alone like sleeping ,taking bath and we wont normally feel for being alone on that times . One may be alone enjoying reading book for hours , some times when we happen to be alone then we will feel for that whereas even if one standing in middle of close friends and if he feels that no one is there to hear him then he is lonley. This feeling will come to everyone when we feel emptiness in ourselfes,once we started feeling this, our old breakups and problems will join this feeling , making us depressed .we will feel totally detached from this world as if everyone grouped and left us alone .Then we hang our head down and say to ourselfs " No one is there to hear me". On that time we have to think we are closely realted to nature and should think of all the things which we wished to do in our life, we have to engage ourselfes into good acts such that the feeling gets vanished.We may need to banish the blues often or once in blue moon that depends on us , but by doin so we can have clear vision of whats happening around us and definitely can take better decisions. Guess thats why the Brahmin , white cross - Punal / Yagnopavadham has three threads, and a married man will have six, three for him and three for his wife and family . It is believed this way only . There cannot be another reason , i feel that this is like sunrise in the morning set in the evening , but actually our earth is rotating , how we know that some sceintist have told us and sent pictures, but how come we are able to believe them , whats the proof , may the man landed in moon like stuff can be altogether wrong , may be.. but our indian hindus have bad habbit , they wont believe what customes hindus did are good for life, rather they blieve the same thing , when some englishmens do research and tell it. Is these guys are part of the reaserch atlast they are going to believe someone's theorey. But they wont believe what thier Mom and Dad and Guru sayings are correct. Like the concepts , Madi and pathu .. Madi is after the hindu takes the bath , till he finishes the pooja he wont touch others or cloths and they will be wearing well washed cloths which has not touched anyother clots.Its considered as higly purified form to do the pooja. But our guys will only realise when there is fever and doctor wants us to use only sterlised cloths. This pathu and ecthi, concept says , when one is eating he should not eat from other plates, others eaten food, or the food item should not touch the eating plate.Moreover The rice and other daily food like sambar , rasam , should not touch the ghee or butterred milk Know why ? The ecthai is maintained to make sure ones, saliva is not passed to others through plates, or glasses to ensure that there are no sars kind of spreading dieseases. The pathu is taken as , the daily food should not mingle up with ghee and butter milk, because the ghee is used loonger and the daily food will become waste soon , so there should not be contact between them to ensure no germs are getting saved in tins for loonger time in the name of ghee. It applies for pickles also , one should not touch pickle after touching the rice food, he should wash hands before doing so. Similar the curd milk is used to make milk into curd milk , so the germs will carry over everyday. Even when hindus put Kolam to decorate thier fron of the house , its for the food od ants , becasue they out them in rice powder and the ants eats them. Kannamma My daughter Everyone prefer to have girl child than boy child , this is especially well taken in indian communities, where we decorate indian girs ,very much when compared to male kids, Infact Yashodha was told to have girl baby , when she was pregent ( Thats true too ) So Yashodha has brought all ornaments and dress required for the girl baby. But after the interchange of babies , only she is waking up to see her baby. Since she thinks she has got a boy and not a girl, she decorates the boy with all oranments she has brought to fulfill her desire towards girl baby.
