i would like to know from the readers whether astrology can give any indications as to where the soul is heading if the 12th house is tenanted by benefics. Will the soul go to eternal heaven, some middle plane or eternal hell.

Are you not sick and tired of being sick and tired???
tackleberry replied to krsna's topic in Spiritual Discussions
What u said was 100% true but what is ythe alternative? You need money to be spiritual? Is suicide a good way out? I mean like fasting onto death. I am leading a life which is filled wit sheer misery. I am also thinking of giving up my body... -
Sajeda Momin Tuesday, November 14, 2006 22:13 IST Leading the campaign against Dasa is another Hindu group called the Hindu can find themselves in court. Gauri Dasa defended himself arguing that “corporal punishment was part of the disciplinary plans of ISKCON in the 1970s and ’80s in schools in India and the US.” “] Well, the allegations have been made by a Muslim and its veracity cannot be proved. However,if he is guilty he should be excommunicated for life!

We dont have faith atleast as demons have!
tackleberry replied to nitai16108's topic in Spiritual Discussions
Please dont say that! At least America has some sattvic people who dont cheat dont lie and who are not very corrupt. India is getting worse and worse and the only place you can retreat to is to the Himalays or Udipi etc..People lie and cheat like it was rtheir second nature.Corruption is rising and people are increasingly becoming indifferent and cruel. I live in India so I know better than you -
India will be leading the world by 2012
tackleberry replied to Datta pandya's topic in Spiritual Discussions
Actually I agree with the views of my namesake. Simply because I have experienced it all. India is highly corrupt and I find most Indians highly irritating and immature .I reside here so I know how it is . India WAS a great nation during Vedic times, sadly thats not the case now. We gauge a nations greatness according to the way the country is governed and the way the nation is looked after by its people. I do feel sad at this crass commercialisation of our values but there is nothing we can do about it now. The burgeoning incidences of various diseases are a sign of things to come. Personally, I see no hope for India either materially or spiritually!!!! -
May be you can talk to him regarding the prediction of death ?? YHS,

The following verses are from Garuda Purana, Brahma kanda, 16th Adyaya: maNimAnnAma daityastu shaN^karAkhyo bhaviShyati | sarveShAM saN^karaM yastu kariShyati na saMshayaH || 3:16:70 tena shaN^karanAmA.asau bhaviShyati khageshvara | dharmAn.h bhAgavatAn.h sarvAn.h vinashyati sarvathA || 3:16:71 A Demon by name maNimAn will come into being as Shankara, who will, no doubt, pollute everything. This is why, O King of birds (Garuda), his name will be Shankara; he will pollute and destroy all BhAgavata Dharmas. --------- Curiosity Query: It's said 80% of Hindus worship Sankara, does that mean Christians are right in calling Hindus 'demon-worshippers'?

Why ISKCON Gurus Get Sick Often?

Don't make excuses, Kula. If you have something to say, say it. Don't justify the acts of child molestors. -
what r demigods? is lord Shiva a demi God?
tackleberry replied to mickey5june's topic in The Hare Krishna Forum
This truly is a revelation to me. -
You say these spiritual worlds are permanent, eternal, and once you go to them, then you are stuck forever. This view seems more like fire and brimstone Christianity, the type of evangelical religions that I find utterly repulsive and truly devoid of real logic and sense. If this were the truth, even if I happened to go to heaven, I would be repulsed by such a God who would be so judgemental and unkind as to not give every soul the opportunity to improve themselves and attain Him, assuming He is worth attaining. It is the very antithesis of a God who is loving and kind and just. A] Think of it. A person who has base desires all his life will have no desire to see God. Simple.. Just like a pig living in a pigsty will not be happy in a clean and palatial house and just like a clean man will detest a pig sty in the same way God gives everyone what they want and according to Madhva God is definitely just. You think of evolution as a system of elevation in status. That people who are bad will later on become good. Except in rare cases a person takes many births and becomes more and more rajasic ,sattwic or tamasic and then liberation will free him from the material world and he can then "enjoy" the same permanently in the spiritual worlds forever! Got it???

what r demigods? is lord Shiva a demi God?
tackleberry replied to mickey5june's topic in The Hare Krishna Forum
Why did Rama and Krishna and Vamdev, (Vasishtha, Agastya, Upmanyu..) worship Shiva???******** There is no evidence for any of this, and if at all it's true, it's for the purpose of asuramohana, or to delude the wicked. Guess that explains it. As for Vashishta, Agastya worshipping shiva, does that make Shiva superior? If scores of people worship Bush, does that make him superior to Shiva? The rest of your post is plain nonsense, it's all your opinion with no basis in the veda. -
So Atan, you do agree. Good.
-
You've misunderstood. The passages which cause delusion to the asuras give immense joy to Devatas/Satvikas. The dialogue between Bhishma and Yudhistra was meant to give joy to devatas and delusion to asuras. Sadhana is determined by Swabhava, as per the Swabhava of asuras, they're haters of Vishnu, and their sadhana to attain liberation must proceed along those lines. Which is why, Vishnu allows sorrow, injustice and other negatives to exist in this world. As said earlier, his Swabhava will NOT let that happen, nor will Vishnu who always protects his devotees/devatas from delusion. And if at all the good person becomes deluded, that too may be important for his sadhana (in ways known only to Vishnu), which is why Vishnu permits it. Same reason as above. His Swabhava will not allow him to take the 'good', his nature will force him to utilize even the 'good' to hate Vishnu.
-
And that Self or Antaryamin within all creatures is Lord Vishnu, as He's explained in the Gita.
-
doing which you get: Vishnu is Supreme. You're catching on real fast.
-
technically, it's called asuramohana, meaning such passages are meant to delude the wicked. Krishna doesn't have to worship any devata, because he's Supreme.
-
Sure. Vishnu took his Trivikrama Avatar as one of the adityas, didn't he? So this verse must be seen in that connection only. Hope you understand. If not, please let me know and I'll try to explain it again.

What you mentioned in part 1 is entirely false. Kali is none other than Duryodhana. This is stated by Sri Madhvacharya in his works. He is none other than Lord Vayu. The world seems to be heading for disaster and I do not know how it can last for another 4,25,000 years!!

I am talking about dreams that have lead to various objects being unearthed and miracles happening. The disciples dont have dreams devoid of any meaning. Also, Dvaitha follows hard logic unlike other philosophies ,sometimes people find it difficult to accept this philoposhy as it violates the comfort zone that they weave around them. There are certain hard facts to accept and people in general dont find that very comforting, instead they adopt a philosophy that can comfort their tired bodies and souls. I like Gaudiya, but Dvaitha is logical and believes that the Lord is not only kind and loving but also just. All cannot reach Swarga. People experience different levels of happiness accordign to their "Swabava" or nature. All souls are not alike and can be characterized into Sattwic, Rajasic and Tamasic. Only the Sattwic souls can have "Aparoksha Jnanam" (direct realization) of Lord Narayana .Only they go to Vaikunta and other spiritual heavens .The Rajasika go to a different world just like Earth only a bit better. There they have varying degrees of happiness and grief. The Tamasikas fall into hell known as Andhan Tamas where there us only darkness, ignorance and grief. All these worlds are eternal and permanent with no escape. All this happens after one obtains liberation or "Moksha" . So "Moksha" doesnt mean that a person is going to Vaikunta ,he may go to any of the spiritual planets ,even Hell. This philosophy shakes you to the core and is a wake up call to all those who thought they could sneak into Heaven just by frequenting temples and later on committing heinous crimes.Though all souls have a mixture of Sattva, Rajas and Tamas it is a question of which 'guna' preponderates.

I am forced to agree with Sephiroth on this. Perhaps, he's being too harsh in putting it, but he's right all the same. Only pathetic people become desperate enough to use fiction against another religion.
