Of course it is a matter of one's personal preference what one chooses to believe, but it might be noteworthy that this position (of karma being anadi, beginningless) is the siddhanta of the Vedanta-sutra that is accepted across the board by all strands of Vaishnavism. The implication is the the jiva has always been fallen, hence the term nitya-baddha. When we speak of the soul "originating in the brahmajyoti", that is simply referring to what the soul is made of. It is a spark of God - sac-cid-ananda. That is confirmed in Bhagavad-gita also: mamaivamso jivaloka jivabhutah sanatanah.Karma is anadi (beginningless).
This is certainly true.
Material existence and the jiva-soul are also beginningless (gita 13.20).
However a soul who attains mukti (nirvisesha-brahma) becomes liberated in the unity of Brahman and becomes from from karma. Karma has no beginning but it can end.
Shankaracharya taught the path to sayujya mukti and many souls have walked that path.
There are souls who are liberated and merged in God's impersonal aspect called Brahma (brahman). The "nigarbha-yogī" atmarama souls who adore God in his impersonal aspect are listed as "santa bhaktas" by Sri Chaitanya.

Why waste our time and energy reasoning with the likes of Vigraha and Sarva-gattah, who have evidently given up thinking - let us all focus single-mindedly on bhajana and sadhana, as that is where our welfare lies.Sri Sri Guru Gaurangau Jayatah
Hare Krsna
Gaura Premanande Hari Bol
Yes I agree
Gaura Premanande!
-
What kind of siddha spaces out and dreams of himself as a tapeworm? -
How come nobody is dealing with the issues I raised?Beggar this person Vigraha, Sarva, whatever, he never answers any questions.
-
In is way it is clear that every living entity (marginal potency) has/is an original devotional bodily form that is perpetually serving Krishna in unlimited pastimes within either Goloka-Vrndavana or Vaikuntha whether they are aware of who they really are or not.
Can't you see the absurdity of what you are preaching?
Souls in Goloka are nitya-siddhas. They have no material dreams. They only dream of different ways of serving Sri Sri Radha-Krishna.
-
Hare Krishna. these are the facts, have a nice day
You too, buddy
But before you go, would you like to tell us your real name?

The mahat-tattva cloud of the dreaming
In the corner of the painting above, one can see the less significant and smaller mahat-tattva unpreserved cloud, also in that Spiritual Sky (perishable material universe divided by past, present and future and only 25% of creation)
This dark cloud is nothing other than the rebellious dreams, thoughts, desires and impersonal escape of just a few of those eternal bodily personalities (nitya-siddha-svarupa-atma-vigraha devotees).
Ones secondary consciousness (nitya-baddha) enters the dark cloud in the Spiritual Sky or Brahmajyoti due to ones desires and the choice not to be with Krishna as their devotional nitya-siddha-svarupa form or body.
Very interesting.
In the photo above, on the top left side you can see some guys getting blasted with fire coming out of the mouths of the Virata Rupa form of the Lord.
These barbecued people all used to be Gopis but they decided to enjoy life in the material world for a while.
What fun they are enjoying in the material world!
When they were all burned up their hair got very badly roasted. This event is the origin of the well known experience of having a bad hair day. Everything comes from Vaikuntha -- even bad hair days. But these barbecued people aren't really disturbed by any of this because in reality their Vigraha (Svarupa) Satchitananda Nitya Leela Eternal Form of Bliss and TRUE EVERLASTING SELF is somewhere else.
I think I should be somewhere else too.

and
http://www.mandala.com.au/mp3/300785B.mp3
The files are very large - over 400 mb each. Maybe 90 minutes in total.
On one tape I'm asking Guru Maharaj about sahajiyaism and raganuga bhakti. On the other, about how Krishna worships Sri Gauranga. Yes, Krishna worships Gauranga!
-
Beautiful thoughts.
thanks.

Guru Maharaj didn't claim to be infallible. He forgot my name, and couldn't remember me when I went to see him a week or so before his departure from this world. Guru Maharaj taught us to think and not to be blind believers.
Some people believe all the truths in the universe are written in some books. But according to Brahma Samhita the trees in Goloka can give us items such as aroti paraphenalia or anything else. Even a speck of dust in Goloka can give infinite ecstasy. Goloka is beyond our brain and beyond our imagination. And Guru Maharaj said that if we "expect the unexpected" then we will make progress --- the class of people who think they know everything and that there is nothing new to learn, those people don't allow themself to move forward and learn new lessons in the next classroom.
-
KB I agree with you completely.
I only wanted to make the point that different instructions are given to different people and that what Prabhupada said to Madhudvisa about "crow-tal-logic" is not ABSOLUTE.
-
The teachings of the Spiritual Master are absolute so Prabhupadas books, tapes (that all his books are via Dictaphone anyway) lectures, classes, morning walks, interviews and letters are all as equal as each other.
Numerous devotees have pointed out that what Srila Prabhupada said must be viewed in consideration of the "Guru, Sadhu, Shastra" principle.
When Narada told the hunter "if you kill animals then kill them outright, don't leave them half-killed", was Narada promoting animal slaughter? No.
We were told it is OK to have sex for procreation, but then it is also said that it is better not to have sex at all. Which path is the proper path, no sex or occasional sex?
Srila Prabhupada also said "chant sixteen rounds" but in Sri Caitanya Bhagavata we read this:
prabhu bale,-"jana, 'laksesvara' bali kare?
prati-dina laksa-nama ye grahana kare"
Caitanya-bhagavata Madhya Khanda 9.121-122
Here is the commentary of Sri Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati to this verse:
sri gaurasundera balibena - "jini pratidina laksanama grahana
karibena, tanharai grhe bhagavan sevita hana."
Sri Gaurasundara spoke as follows - "The Supreme Personality of Godhead accepts service only in the home of those who chant one hundred thousand names daily.
"one hundred thousand names" is 64 rounds.
When I received Harinama from my Guru Maharaj he told me I could chant 64 rounds or more each day. 16 if I am busy. He mentioned that Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada had said 16 rounds is advisable. If there are many things to do we can chant 4 rounds.
I like to chant 64 or more rounds. Chanting 2 lakhs or Sri Nama (128) is really beautiful but it takes me ten hours to do that. However if one day I get told that I have terminal cancer I will stop everything else and chant 3 lakh Nama each day. Would this be doing what "Prabhupada says" to do? No. He taught differently. Yet it is what Sri Chaitanya likes, as we see in the case of Haridasa Thakura who chanted 3 lakh names.
Vigraha your ISKCON way of thinking and acting is not the only way that people can follow in order to go "Back to Godhead".
-
Theist
Perhaps Srila Prabhupada said to his disciples not to discuss this point but this point has been elaborately discussed by other acharyas.
And what about people like me who are not even disciples of Srila Prabhupada?
Sri Jiva Goswami and Srila Sanatana Goswami both taught that jiva souls arise from Brahman.
Anadi-siddha souls can enter Vaikuntha or enter Maya. The word "anadi-siddha" or in other words "unborn siddha souls" is Sanatana's word he uses to describe souls who are eternally existing within formless Brahman. If they do not adore Brahman but instead think they are ONE or EQUAL with Brahman they can fall down. This is the teaching of the Goswamis.
My Guru told me the same thing, and I've read it in the writings of Srila Prabhupada too. People like Vigraha and Suhotra das who say that the Vrajabashis, the Gopas and Gopis, those Great Souls sometimes choose to forget Krishna and choose to go to hell to enjoy some physical enjoyment, those people are promoting nonsense ideas that are pure ignorance.

Are you now admitting no "Vishnavas (devotee’s of Krishna) in the past" including Sukadeva, Vyasa, Bhaktivinode Thakur, Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakura or Rupa and Sanatana ever taught that the associates of the Lord in Vaikuntha are dreaming they are experiencing birth and death in the material world?
Since you have never produced a single quote from any of these Acharyas to back up your "dream-fall" theory, do you acknowledge that none of the previous Acharyas support this idea that soul dreams he has fallen into material suffering?
Please explain this proposition you make, that it is only His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada who has really "understood" this new truth, a new revelation that the previous Acharyas had not understood?
Sri Chaitanya explained jiva-tattva to Sanatan Goswami, and Sanatana, Rupa, Kaviraj Gosai and others have repeated what they heard. All of them talk about how souls have come into material existence, and none of them mention this idea you allege Srila Prabhupada was teaching.

Vigraha has not answered the simple question I asked him, which is on the bottom of page 5
Vigraha, perhaps you missed this simple question. Please answer it
I wrote:

Vigraha, you almost never answer the questions you are asked.
Will you answer this one question of mine.
According to your philosophy nobody falls down from Vaikuntha, they merely enter into a dream of material existence. Further, in the spiritual world there is no passage of time, so the aeons of time that a soul who is dreaming he is in Maya spends feeling different types of suffering, that period of time has no real duration. This is what I understand you are saying. Correct me if I'm wrong.
What I want to ask is this: those souls who are in Vaikuntha who are dreaming about material existence, do they experience a feeling of suffering? They observe "themself" being born as a mosquito or dog and they experience getting killed millions of times. Do these souls in Vaikuntha having this material dream feel any suffering?
-
If they do and feel all this, then that is not possible. I have never ever read that this is happening there and its a total speculation. The people who say that we are still in vaikuntha are dreaming an impossible dream. What is happening to them, how have they become so speculative?
We never read about anything like this and yet they are propagating it and even make fun of those who understand the philosophy properly.
So here they are in this world, thinking themselfes to be in Vaikuntha where no one can even have a bad dream. There is no maya so how can maya enter their dream?
Forget it lads, wakey wakey!!
Well said, Prabhu
But I still want Vigraha to give me a clear answer to this question

Timeline of the Manhattan Project
1939
A letter from Albert Einstein, authored by Leo Szilard, began the U.S. government's early efforts towards atomic weapons.
-
August 2 — Albert Einstein signs a letter authored by physicist Leo Szilard addressed to President Franklin D. Roosevelt, advising him to fund research into the possibility of using nuclear fission as a weapon in the event that Nazi Germany may also be conducting such research. He later regretted signing the letter.
-
September 1 — Nazi Germany invades Poland, beginning World War II.
-
October 11 — Economist Alexander Sachs meets with President Roosevelt and delivers the Einstein-Szilard letter. Roosevelt authorizes the creation of the Advisory Committee on Uranium.
- October 21 — First meeting of the Uranium Committee, headed by Lyman Briggs of the National Bureau of Standards. $6,000 is budgeted for neutron experiments.
[edit] 1940
- March — Otto Frisch and Rudolph Peierls author the Frisch-Peierls memorandum, calculating that an atomic bomb might need as little as 1 lb of enriched uranium to work.
-
April 10 — MAUD Committee established by Henry Tizard to investigate feasibility of an atomic bomb
-
July 1 — Responsibility for fission research is taken over by Vannevar Bush's National Defense Research Committee.
- December — Franz Simon reports to MAUD that uranium-235 can be separated using gaseous diffusion. Gives cost estimates and technical specifications. James Chadwick realizes "a nuclear bomb...is inevitable"
[edit] 1941
-
February 26 — Conclusive discovery of plutonium by Glenn Seaborg and Arthur Wahl.
- March — MAUD Committee prepares interim report urging immediate action and sends it to USA. Lyman Briggs locks it in his safe and fails to tell Uranium Committee. [1]
-
May 17 — A report by Arthur Compton and the National Academy of Sciences is issued which finds favorable the prospects of developing nuclear power production for military use. Vannevar Bush creates the Office of Scientific Research and Development (OSRD)
-
July 15 — The MAUD Committee issues final detailed technical report on design and costs to develop a bomb. Advance copy sent to Vannevar Bush who decides to wait for official version before taking any action
- August — Mark Oliphant travels to USA to urge development of a bomb rather than power production [2]
-
October 3 — Official copy of MAUD Report reaches Bush
-
October 9 — Bush takes MAUD Report to Roosevelt who approves project to confirm MAUD's findings
-
December 6 — Vannevar Bush holds a meeting to organize an accelerated research project, still managed by Arthur Compton. Harold Urey is assigned to develop research into gaseous diffusion as a uranium enrichment method, while Ernest O. Lawrence is assigned to investigate electromagnetic separation methods.
-
December 7 — The Japanese attack Pearl Harbor. The United States issues a formal declaration of war against Japan the next day. Four days later, Nazi Germany declares war on the United States.
- December 18 — First meeting of the OSRD sponsored S-1 project, dedicated to developing fission weapons.
[edit] 1942
Gen. Leslie Groves and physicist Robert Oppenheimer became the military and scientific heads of the Manhattan Project.
- July-September — Physicist Robert Oppenheimer convenes a summer conference at the University of California, Berkeley to discuss the design of a fission bomb. Edward Teller brings up the possibility of a hydrogen bomb as a major point of discussion.
- August — Creation of the Manhattan Engineering District by the Army Corps of Engineers.
-
September 13 — At a meeting of the S-1 Executive Committee, it is decided that a centralized laboratory should be established to study fast neutrons, code-named "Project Y".
-
September 17 — Col. Leslie Groves is assigned command of the Manhattan Engineering District. Six days later he is appointed to Brigadier General.
-
September 24 — After a visit to Tennessee, Groves purchases 52,000 acres of land in Tennessee for "Site X", which will become the Oak Ridge, Tennessee laboratory and production site.
-
September 26 — The Manhattan Project is given permission to use the highest wartime priority rating by the War Production Board.
-
October 15 — Groves appoints Robert Oppenheimer to coordinate the scientific research of the project at the "Site Y" laboratory.
-
November 16 — Groves and Oppenheimer visit Los Alamos, New Mexico and designate it as the location for "Site Y".
- December 2 — Chicago Pile-1, the first nuclear reactor goes critical at the University of Chicago under the leadership and design of Enrico Fermi.
[edit] 1943
Massive calutrons at Oak Ridge, Tennessee, worked around the clock to enrich uranium for a bomb.
-
February 18 — Construction begins for Y-12 at Oak Ridge, Tennessee, a massive electromagnetic separation plant for enriching uranium.
- April 5-14 — Introductory lectures began at Los Alamos, later are compiled into The Los Alamos Primer.
-
April 20 — The University of California becomes the formal business manager of the Los Alamos laboratory.
-
August 19 — Roosevelt and Winston Churchill sign Quebec Agreement. Team of British scientists join project as a result, including Klaus Fuchs
- October 4 — Construction begins for the first reactor at Hanford Site.
[edit] 1944
The two types of fission weapon designs pursued during the Manhattan Project.
-
April 5 — At Los Alamos, Emilio Segrè receives the first sample of reactor-bred plutonium from Oak Ridge, and within ten days discovers that the spontaneous fission rate is too high for use in a gun-type fission weapon.
- May — Fermi at Los Alamos tests the world's third reactor, LOPO, the first aqueous homogeneous reactor, and the first fueled by enriched uranium.
-
July 4 — Oppenheimer reveals Segrè's final measurements to the Los Alamos staff, and the development of the gun-type plutonium weapon "Thin Man" is abandoned. Designing a workable "implosion" design becomes top priority of the laboratory.
-
July 20 — The Los Alamos organizational structure is completely changed to reflect the new priority of "implosion".
-
September 2 — Peter N. Bragg, Jr. and Douglas P. Meigs, chemists on the projects, are killed, and Arnold Kramish almost killed, while attempting to clean a clog out of a uranium enrichment device as part of the pilot thermal diffusion plant at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Two soldiers, George LeFevre and John Tompkins, also receive extensive injuries. An explosion of liquid uranium hexafluoride, which burst nearby steam pipes, which combined with the uranium hexafluoride to shower the men with the highly corrosive hydrofluoric acid. [3]
- December — A new test reactor comes on line at Los Alamos, HYPO, using uranyl nitrate in an aqueous homogeneous reactor.
[edit] 1945
The atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were the culmination of the wartime effort.
-
August 2 — Albert Einstein signs a letter authored by physicist Leo Szilard addressed to President Franklin D. Roosevelt, advising him to fund research into the possibility of using nuclear fission as a weapon in the event that Nazi Germany may also be conducting such research. He later regretted signing the letter.
-
Einstein conceived the theory of relativity. On the basis of his work it was theorized that it would be possible to split atoms and cause a nuclear explosion. The theory was put to the test, and was Einstein's "speculation" proven true or false?
The atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima was proof that Einstein's view of the cosmos was valid.
Einstein was not against spirituality. In this universe that Einstein described, Einstein felt there is room for genuine spirituality. In this physical universe, we are living on a small planet near a medium sized star. The moon we see is closer to the earth than the sun. Moreover, there are many suns in the universe. All the stars are suns. We all learned that at school, didn't we?
And if fundamentalist preachers try and tell high school students that the sun is closer to earth than the moon then most of them will laugh at what they are being told. The stupid ones may believe it is true. And then they may decide to join up....

SYNONYMS
tat — therefore; gaccha — come; dhruva — Dhruva; bhadram — good fortune; te — unto you; bhagavantam — unto the Supreme Personality of Godhead; adhokṣajam — who is beyond the concepts of material senses; sarva-bhūta — all living entities; ātma-bhāvena — by thinking of them as one; sarva-bhūta — in all living entities; ātma — the Supersoul; vigraham — having form.
TRANSLATION
My dear Dhruva, come forward. May the Lord always grace you with good fortune. The Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is beyond our sensory perception, is the Supersoul of all living entities, and thus all entities are one, without distinction. Begin, therefore, to render service unto the transcendental form of the Lord, who is the ultimate shelter of all living entities.
PURPORT
Here the word vigraham, "having specific form," is very significant, for it indicates that the Absolute Truth is ultimately the Supreme Personality of Godhead. That is explained in the Brahma-saḿhitā. Sac-cid-ānanda-vigrahaḥ: [Bs. 5.1] He has form, but His form is different from any kind of material form. The living entities are the marginal energy of the supreme form. As such, they are not different from the supreme form, but at the same time they are not equal to the supreme form. Dhruva Mahārāja is advised herewith to render service unto the supreme form. That will include service to other individual forms. For example, a tree has a form, and when water is poured on the root of the tree, the other forms — the leaves, twigs, flowers and fruits — are automatically watered. The Māyāvāda conception that because the Absolute Truth is everything He must be formless is rejected here. Rather, it is confirmed that the Absolute Truth has form, and yet He is all-pervading. Nothing is independent of Him.

That's an interesting quote.

Your either with Prabhupada or against him. The choice is yours
Rupa, Sanatana, Bhaktivinoda, Bhaktisiddhanta... none of them ever taught that souls fall from Vaikuntha and enter into samsara.
If I choose to believe in them and not in your ideas, then am I against Srila Prabhupada?
In his books I read this:
The all-pervading feature of the Lord — which exists in all circumstances of waking and sleeping as well as in potential states and from which the jīva-śakti (living force) is generated as both conditioned and liberated souls — is known as Brahman. Since the Lord is the origin of both Paramātmā and Brahman, He is the origin of all living entities and all else that exists.

Hmmm.... let me get this straight
Guruvani was initiated by the flute, so that makes him a servant of the flute
Murali-mohana das is the servant of the charming Lord who holds a flute
And I am known as Muralidhar das
So then my brothers, what do you think about this:::::
Śrī Caitanya Caritāmṛta Antya 1.162
sad-vaḿśatas tava janiḥ puruṣottamasya
pāṇau sthitir muralike saralāsi jātyā
kasmāt tvayā sakhi guror viṣamā gṛhītā

"'My dear friend the flute, it appears that you have been born of a very good family, for your residence is in the hands of Śrī Kṛṣṇa. By birth you are simple and are not at all crooked. Why then have you taken initiation into this dangerous mantra that enchants the assembled gopīs?'
-
Come on Guruvani,
Be honest,
You aren't really here in the material world at all !
You are in Goloka Vrindaban, and you are sitting in an Internet Cafe in a cave at Govardhana.
You never left Goloka Vrindaban at all, you are there eternally!
Maybe you had a dream about material life but it never really changed you even for a moment.
