    Are You Serious?

A Florida couple is suing a McDonald's franchise over a hard bagel. The suit alleges that the bagel was improperly prepared and broke several of John O'Hare's teeth. His wife then "lost the care, comfort, consortium, and society of her husband," the suit says. The owner of the franchise says she has no idea how a bagel could leave a man incapable of making love to his wife regardless of how it was prepared. "It's a bagel," she said. A Welsh peeping Tom was sentenced to spend 12 hours staring at the naked residents of Sunset Valley Naturist Park, ages 65 to 91. A group of British thieves couldn't crack open a safe, so they tied it to their car and dragged it for a mile back to their hideaway. People in the village of Cam called police after being awakened by the loud booms made by the one-ton steel box as it bounced down the street. Investigators followed the gouges in the road and found the safe sitting outside the suspects apartment. "It wasn't our greatest piece of detective work," said a spokesman. The family of a New Mexico man is suing a Catholic priest for proclaiming at his funeral that the deceased was headed for Hades. The Rev. Scott Mansfield told 200 surprised mourners that Ben Martinez was "lukewarm in his faith" and that "the Lord vomited people like Ben out of his mouth to hell," according to the suit. Martinez's family says the priest was angry at their son for not attending Mass the last year of his life, when he was suffering emphysema.

A British surrogate mother has given birth to eight babies in eight years. Carole Horlock, 36, is paid up to $8000 for carrying a child. The deities were beautiful and in general the whole mood was really nice. Many old devotees were there. Agnideva led kirtan in front of Jagannath chariot, Trivikram Maharaja was in fron of Subhadra and the kulis were in front of Balarama. maybe other devotees that were there can post more, I have to go to work. Haribol

  10. Did anyone see Burnt Ladhu? "Enter the reality of Burnt Ladhu with a video of the full-length musical theater production. This play despicts the struggle of a fictionalized gurukuli named Ladhu who is caught between the spiritual world of his chilhood and the material world he must face as an adult. At times both hilarious and tragic, the play follows Ladhu and his friends as they try to escape their haunting past and find the courage to shape their future. Witness Ladhu's quest throught the eyes of the characters in his life-an estranged daughter, a stoic and religious mother, an overly enthusiastic temple commander and an atheistic "karmi" boyfriend. This musical examines the stereotypes of the Hare Krishna movement through the artistic lens of musical theater and highlights the commonalities shared by members of this society. Burnt Ladhu carries a message of urgency, healing and hope, and speaks to the need for authentic Vaishnava loving exchange. This cathartic experience will leave you enlightened and inspired, but most of all entertained." It touched a cord with me this play. I know the boy who wrote it and he flew his mom to Alachua to see it. Lots of healing there.

  22. Yesterday I spoke with some devotees and they told me that Abhiram is sleeping a lot but chanting when he is awake. In a way the devotees were lucky that someone drove them away otherwise would be more injured people. Most of the people are in shock because they are realizing how we can die at any moment. My prayers are with Abhiram.
  23. but he said he'll be back for noon prasadam. Haribol now, time to sleep.
  24. One day we should do it from Govinda's. Oh,the scoop about Anthony Hopkins, he came late for prasadam and he went into the temple for the last aratik and he stayed until the end. After that he walked to the alley to his car and some of the girls met him and he was very nice to them and appreciated the "Hare Krsna kids".
