  1. Jahnava Nitai prabhu: could you tell us something about how you came to choose Orissa and what it is that keeps you there? India has long been a fascination to me and I hope to spend a lot of time in India after I retire. I am just trying to understand why it is that you chose Orissa as your principle place in India. I like to hear different devotees reflections on different places in India. I have a great attraction to India. Someday I want to travel India and spend time in different places.
  2. good point. The acintya part is what tells us that we can never fully get a handle on how we can be a seperated part and parcel yet still be one with Krishna.
  3. Well, my point was that originally he was a victim. Once he agree to chime in with the conspirators he got in over his head. Either way, if he is humble enough to show his face around ISKCON again I think he should be welcomed and forgiven as I think Srila Prabhupada would welcome and forgive him.
  4. You just don't get it do you? Your own words mean nothing. Shastra is the only source to answer philosophical questions. You can't spew out your own mental ramblings and expect anyone to take you seriously. You can never win the debate because you can't support your theory with shastric evidence. All you have in your arsenal is a few letters from Srila Prabhupada that you misinterpet and twist to support your bogus theory. There is not a single piece of evidence that the gopis and cowherd boys in Vrindavan fall down to become worms in stool. Such a proposal is ridiculous. Srila Prabhupada never said such a thing. Even if he did it would just be a preaching tactic and not actual shastric siddhanta. I have solid shastric evidence to totally blow your foolish theory to kingdom come, but I am not wasting my research on your crazy topics. In fact, I am just setting on it myself for a while to just see how foolish this fall-from-Goloka theory can get. Then, when it's time I will make fools out of all the fall-from-goloka theorists with solid shastric evidence that is going to expose them all as ignorant of shastric knowledge.
  5. You are obvioulsy afraid to consult shastra regarding the issues you claim to have all the answers to based upon speculation and misinterpretation of a few letters Srila Prabhupada wrote to some neophyte devotees. I know you fear shastra and stay away from shastra because you really don't want to face the fact that you are propagating bogus siddhanta and misrepresenting Srila Prabhupada. Your theories are rubbish misinterpretations based upon some letters to some neophyte devotees. You avoid shastra because it is a fact that in shastra your foolish theory falls to pieces like a house of cards. You should be in a padded cell somewhere where you can't do any harm to yourself and others.
  6. Your topics are always full of speculation and fabrications. This is the kind of deviation that made Srila Prabhupada furious. Srila Prabhupada tolerated a lot of things, but the one thing that angered him the most was when devotees fabricate, concoct and speculate. This kind of speculation and fabncation is a waste of everyone's time. It's just so much gibberish. Actually, I think it is mostly a lame publicity stunt to attract attention to some bogus book written by a Hare Krishna mental case. This thread is not a topic. It's just propaganda meant for defending the bogus conceptions propagated in a bogus book written by some Hare Krishna. The book is bogus.
  7. Ramesvar was as much a victim as anything. He originally opposed the sinister plan to transform the BIG 11 from ritviks to zonal gurus. He was bullied by Tamal and some others into going along with the zonal guru system. He also vehemently opposed the putting of vyasasans in the temples for the zonal gurus. Again, he was bullied into going along with the sinister plot. He played the game as long as he could then he made a plan to exit ISKCON and merge back into secular society. He was a victim like so many others of the stupidity and arrogance of a handful of leading disciples who hatched a scheme to take over ISKCON after the passing of Srila Prabhupada. I don't see much of anything that Ramesvar should be ashamed of. He was not a bad guy really. He got sucked into a bad situation.
  8. I doubt he was ever really sleeping. Just because he shows up around ISKCON again doesn't mean that he forgot everything he learned from Srila Prabhupada. There are many devotees out there that keep their distance from ISKCON. But, that doesn't mean they are asleep to Krishna consciousness.
  9. I didn't see a single shastric reference in the above posts. Is that what Srila Prabhupada wanted his followers to do? Is endless speculation and fabrication of ideas what Krishna consciousness is all about? I hardly think that books written by devotees to turn a profit are worth anyone's serious attention. I have no doubt Srila Prabhupada would totally condemn such speculation and fabrication as we see in this topic. This stuff is mundane rubbish. It won't help anyone attain enlightenment or knowledge. Mental mushrooms growing from the cow plop of the mind. That is what all this foolish rambling amounts to.
  10. wow.... I am not a big fan of his but it's always nice to see one of these vanished devotees show up again somewhere. The one I really want to see show up again would be Achyutananda Swami.
  11. still, this is off topic and just a sentimental journey away from the discussion at hand. We all could set here all day and post irrelevant posts and videos that tickle our fancy. Start another topic for your sentimental videos. We had a discussion going on that got derailed with you blurb video that has nothing to do with the topic.
  12. what has that got to do with the discussion at hand? is this an ad or a promotion of some imitation sakshat hari?
  13. South America has no monopoly. Hare Krishna is worldwide, not just South America. I like the Northern California version..... Tripurari Maharaja! oh, sorry, I shouldn't have followed you in your journey away from the topic of the thread.
  14. Sorry, I have to reject hearsay coming from disciples of Srila Prabhupada. I only accept written or recorded statements. It might be true, but the authority of the quote is based upon hearsay of a follower of Srila Prabhupada. That sort of evidence cannot hold up in the kind of debates and discussion happening on forums.
  15. then please show us where you learned this verse and where has any Saraswata Gaudiya acharya ever used or quoted this verse? How about Bhaktivinode? Please show us where in the Saraswata teachings have you learned this verse you quote earlier: My guess is you learned it on the siddha pranali forums where I myself saw them quoting that verse over and over on their forum. I have never seen the verse appear in any Saraswata Gaudiya commentary.
  16. Maybe so, but technically the Golden Age of Mahaprabhu started about 500 years ago with the advent of Mahaprabhu. I don't think that the period started the day Srila Prabhupada landed in America. The era of Mahaprabhu was the Golden Age at it's very pinnacle as far as I am concerned. It might spread wider in the time after Mahaprabhu, but the quality will never be any greater than it was in the time of Mahaprabhu himself in India. (my opinion)
  17. The quote about being the lawbooks for 10,000 years needs some proper reference. I would be quite fine if the quote could be verified with proper reference. As far as second-hand accounts and hearsay like the quote of Rohini Kumar Swami, Srila Prabhupada instructed his disciples not to accept anything unless he wrote it personally. I am quite fine with the idea, but still I don't operate on hearsay or accounts of disciples recalling something they think they remember hearing Srila Prabhupada say.
  18. ok I found the reference on the Golden Age in Kali yuga. Brahma-vaivarta Purana This specific dialogue is between Lord Krsna and Mother Ganga.
  19. Best I can recall it is a quote from some Purana.(not Bhagavat Purana) I don't think Mahaprabhu quoted the verse, but it was used by his disciples in their commentaries on the shastra.(best I can recall) It is an ancient reference in some ancient text. The point is valid, but I can't recall of any reference where Mahaprabhu personally quoted that verse.
  20. It proves you are a fraud and in no position to be condescending upon others as if you are some big fixed-up devotee. Last December you said you were going to stay with Christianty and today you are claiming to be all fixed-up devotee. My estimation is that you are a fraud. Thats my humble opinion.
  21. Really? In December of last year you wrote: you also wrote: you also wrote: so, it appears your own glories have been slightly embellished today.
  22. and your claim to fame is that you have participated in the undermining of Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON by supporting the offensive GBC guru system and being the cronie of an imitation sakshat hari? Many direct disciples of Srila Prabhupada were ousted from ISKCON to make room for cronies like you. I don't consider anything praiseworthy of such a situation. Many dedicated disciples of Srila Prabhupada were ejected from their positions in ISKCON and replaced by cronies of the GBC guru system.
  23. Where is that quote by Mahaprabhu? I would like to see that quote, unless you are just speaking feelance.
  24. but, boasting about present accomplishments is somehow alright? Many stalwarts have gone down. Once you start bragging about yourself the fall is just around the corner. I wasn't boasting about my past. I was simply stating that I have an interest in ISKCON unlike many devotees from other sects of the Saraswata sampradaya. Those of us who have sacrificed and given considerably to the development of ISKCON have a right to speak about the back-pedeling ISKCON has undergone since the passing of Srila Prabhupada. Those who have never given anything to ISKCON have not as much right to complain.
