The end results of video games is (talking from experince of playing 4-5 hours a day for couple of years)

1. waste of time

2. you will waste your eye sight (material eyesight) will be looking through world via THICK glasses even though you had good eyesight

3. grow up - last advise

I would think about it.... say 1000 names of visnu game - you have to remember 1000s names and its meaning.... something ilke that would be nice. as educational but playing with bows and arrors (or guns) splitting blood everywhere - if you really like it Krishna will arrange it (in next life you will be with Kalki Avatar and will see lots of blood and strategy) /images/graemlins/smile.gif

If you sencire in your prayer - Krsna will make the arrangements.

Just don't be a man who honestly prayed to God to win a lotto and after many attempts still not successful. And God finally appears to him and told him "Ppplease buy a ticket".

You can't win a lotto without buying a ticket.

Same way Guru most probably won;t knock in your door and say: I was told to come here and be your Guru may be...

But again if you look back in your life and anilize - Krishna done everything in your life only for your benefit so trust him again.

2. It is a known fact that mentally insane people think that they are the only sane... and everyone else is mad.

well if it is your relatives I wouldn;t be that harsh.

Just tell them I'm not eating human or animal flesh as my principle.

Or just say I have allergy from eggs, if you want to not to go into religious discussion....

Why is the Sky Blue?

Here's an exchange that took place in Los Angeles on January 8, 1968, after

Srila Prabhupada's lecture on Caitanya Caritamrta:

Guest: I have a question. I was wondering why Krsna is always portrayed as being

blue.

Prabhupada: Why the sky is blue? Can you explain?

Guest: Because the sky is blue?

Prabhupada: Yes, why the sky is blue? First of all, you try to explain this.

This you are seeing every day. Can you explain? You don't? You cannot? Sky is

blue! That's all! Therefore it is blue. Krsna is blue! Therefore He's blue.

Guest: But His consort, His consort is not blue.

Prabhupada: Sky is the reflection of Krsna's bodily effulgence; therefore it is

blue.

Also i wonder who is a main audience of this board? ISKCON devotees or anyone who can register and do we have moderator?
