Forgive me for my confusion, but what exactly is the meaning of the quote

 

"Today is the tomorrow we worried about yesterday."

Today is 23 June. Yesterday, i.e. on 22 June, some of us might be worrying, Of, what will happen tomorrow?". Or, in other words, we were worrying what would happen on 23 June. Today is 23 June.
